Nice room: opening window, comfortable bed/nice bed linen, tea-making facilities/toiletries/minibar stocked with snacks and drinks/complimentary water, a working socket either side of bed. Hotel has a good lift (my room was on 5th floor). All in all, a very good quality:price ratio (I paid £38 for one night on 26 Dec). Staff at reception were also helpful, giving me good recommendations for dinner and for getting my bus ticket/reaching bus station the next day. I woke up too late to make it to breakfast (and was still too full from my late and copious dinner at the nearby cafe - on corner with main road - anyway!)

The hotel is clean, located close to the train station and metro.
I am a light sleeper and was assigned a room near the busy main road. I did not sleep, fhe following morning i asked to be relocated to one of the internallly facing rooms which was way better although these rooms temporarily have their windows covered. So its for sure a litte on the dark side but that didnt bother me. Breakfast looked very good

The hotel is very old, needs some updates, we were out in a very dark room, the air conditioner was not working, a man came by twice trying to fix it, but was still not working, so we had chance to switch to a better room.

This Hotel is really old and needs renovation. The staff was also not very friendly. I accidentally booked for 2 people, but clearly was by myself. I also said that at check-in. It was an honest mistake. The staff didn’t care. Still charged me for 2 people. Everything is really dark in there, I didn’t like the atmosphere. Glad I only stayed one night. Too expensive for what you get.

The location is great, at the heart of Izmir. The staff super friendly and helpful, they were there when I arrived at 2 am, took my luggage to the room and didn't bother even though my card didn't process the payment. I paid next morning. Free coffee and tea is available in the lounge all day, a small cosy restaurant with a table just at the door of the second entrance. Will definitely stay there again.

Right from the moment we arrived,which was 9.pm we were met by reception and parking valet. Our luggage was taken to the receptionist. He was very helpful and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable. Big enough considering we were only staying for a few days.
Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from before setting off for the day. Hotel is in a good location, convenient for walking to most of the attractions

The website pictures make the property look more updated and shiny than it really is. It’s a bit run down and the age is showing. Our room had a window but was blocked with a huge wooden sign. The walls are paper thin and you can hear noise from other rooms and outside.

As other guests have mentioned, there’s a smell of stale cigarette smoke in the room. The breakfast options are reused daily and some items were stale (the dessert items).

Overall, I would rate this hotel a very “mid”

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was within walking distance of the bazaar, a traditional Hamam, ruins of an Agora and some very good restaurants. Buffet breakfast offered a variety of traditional Turkish foods. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was on the small side and nothing fancy but if you want something more spacious be sure to pick a larger room and not the economy rooms that are very small and have tiny windows. Overall we were satisfied with our 3 days here.

Breakfast had a nice variety and they tried to make changes to it. It's actually quite a large variety breakfast compared to other hotels in Turkey. I really liked that coffee and tea were available all day.

The rooms were quite dark and so it was difficult to stay in the room if you were reading so often I went downstairs in the dining area to read.

Nothing to do with the hotel but the area is a bit quiet. It is a convenient area as in you are close to the market (maybe 5min walk)& the Konak pier/Alsancak (about 15-20min walk) but it is dead at night. There are a few people walking but it's not bustling at all which was a bit surprising. It could be the time of year too (end of Sept/early Oct) but it's not what I expected so be prepared for that.

Starting with the staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. They do their best to make sure their guests feel welcomed.

The hotel itself has a great location close to main public transportation stations. It's a walking distance from kemeralti market and is surrounded by different restaurants, shops and money exchange offices.

The rooms are very clean and the beds are incredible. Super comfy!!

The breakfast is rich and they offer different varieties of food

I love this hotel, have stayed here multiple times. It's in a good location to get to all parts of the city via foot or public transport. The staff is kind and accommodating, the rooms (although a bit worn of age in the old part of the hotel) are spotless. Breakfast is a full tasting menu of turkish products - plentiful, very diverse and actually quality (great cheese, olives, tomatoes that somehow taste like tomatoes in November!) The neighborhood is a bit dead/weird late at night but even as a solo woman traveller I never felt uncomfortable.

I opted for a twin room overlooking an interior courtyard and was very pleased with it. The hotel keeps parakeets and their enclosure was very close to our room. Their cheerful tweeting made for great white noise, masking sound from the street. They do quiet down at night, so I enjoyed their presence. We did get some natural light in the room from the courtyard - I liked that room very much. Our twin room was on the first floor, so we were easily able to use the stairs instead of the elevator except when moving in/out.
The room was clean and well appointed. The staff speaks English and were patient and helpful when we were organizing our transportation to the airport. Daily housekeeping appreciated.
The breakfast was excellent, nicely presented and most anything one would want. I was delighted to have both scrambled eggs and omelets offered, in addition to the ubiquitous hard boiled eggs. We also ate dinner one evening in the hotel and were satisfied with that as well. There are other dining options nearby.
We really liked the hotel's location. It is within walking distance of the tourist attractions. There are several ATMs within the vicinity of the hotel. The neighborhood felt safe, although we were not out in the evening, so I can't comment on that.

Great hotel in Izmir

Very lovely hotel. Our room was nice, quiet and with everything we needed.The bathroom modern with a fantastic shower. Breakfast is super good with great variety for all tastes and served from 7 am to 10 am. The location is very good, close to the tram and 2 blocks from the train station. Walking distance of several touristic attractions. Staff super efficient and polite.

Don’t go if you’re sensitive to scents.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast was good. It was easy to park. My only issue is that the perfume they used in the room and laundry was overwhelming. I’m not usually too sensitive but it was awful! I’d much prefer just a clean room without the smells.

Good experience. First night the room we were initially given was noisy from close by highway traffic and when I spoke to reception they were very accommodating and moved us to a quiet room.
Breakfast was without doubt the best breakfast we have ever experienced in Turkey. We were so spoiled for choice.

Nice time in Park Hotel

My favourite hotel in Izmir

I have found my favourite hotel in Izmir! After a long flight, upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the nice staff. When arriving in my room, I immediately noticed that I was had been upgraded to one of the best rooms in the hotel at no extra fee, which was extremely generous and kind of them. The staff was incredibly friendly and always supportive and helpful. The cleaning team, reception and kitchen team deserve a special thanks. We had a nice 5 nights there. Highly recommended!

The photos oversell this establishment. Awkward room with quite a bit that didn't work (burned out bulbs, tv remote, etc). Needs an overhaul, but not sure that would even do it. The staff were friendly and hospitable as one expects in Turkey. They were the only selling point but it isn't their fault the rooms were dated and weirdly laid out. With the bulbs out and only one window that overlooked an exterior staircase you couldn't see much in the room at all. Which may have been a blessing. LOL

Great location great service

This hotel is in great location. Only few minutes walk to metro, train station and bazar.

The people work at hotel are very nice. The safe box in my room doesn't work, they immediately installed a new one.

The hotel building inside is big and beautiful. I would stay here again when I come to Izmir next time.

The location was quite central and the hotel comes with parking that only staff can park guest’s cars.
The hotel smells like cigarettes everywhere and overall very dark. The hotel lobby is quite small and dingy as well.
If you need a towel or sheets after 7 there is no housekeeping. So forget about getting any service after dark. The breakfast was relatively good compared to everything else.
Overall, I was very disappointed with both service and cleanliness of the hotel and do not recommend it.

The hotel is not even two stars, parking done by escalator that means Hotel's employee pick up your car from a single lane road and take it to their parking using escalator.
Avoid it at all costs, not a good neighborhood.

We saw their facilities online and called them up from Canada 2-3 times to confirm whether their triple room would ve able to accommodate 3 adults comfortably. Upon arrival we were taken to the triple room which was a double room with an extra bed and no space whatsoever. It felt claustrophobic and literally like a small call! Since it was very late at night , we somehow managed to spend the rest of the night in that room. The next morning I had a conversation with the reception staff and was relieved as they moved us to a family room. We packed our stuff and left for our tour and as promised by them, they moved our luggage and we went into the much bigger and better family room when we got back. The Reception staff were extremely helpful snd polite and their buffet breakfast was a treat! Not only did they have a lot of variety but it was all fresh and plentiful.

I liked the sweets in the minibar and the impeccable cleaning. The bed was very comfortable. I was in room 610 and there was some noise (people talking in the street) in the middle of the night, but it did not disturb my sleep. Breakfast was good, but it was not served on time. One day I had a tour early in the morning, but could not finish my breakfast because they did not serve it at 7 am as announced.
I cannot remember the lady's name at the reception, but she showed a lot of empathy when I was having a hard time to manage my booking with the ferry to Chios, and she helped more than I expected. I am really grateful.
The hotel is close to many places of interest, and convenient to take public transport. It is walking distance from Konak square, and the sunset there is astonishing.

This is an older hotel but hood value for the price. What i like best about it is the location and the staff members. From the airport its two rides away (train then metro). If you scan your metro card while changing to metro you get some money back. The whole journal is easy. Plus it is the train station to go to see Ephesus. All these 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the market place - great shopping. There are also a few
grocery stores around the corner. The male staff members are super friendly and helpful and always smiling, including the handsome chef. Most of the female staff are either housekeeping and breakfast staff. I have limited contact with them but they seem nice too. However, you have to keep on mind that this is an older hotel. One suggestion i have is to provide light for the card slot in the room as once the door is opened it is hard to see where to insert the card to turn on stuff in the room. The other minor suggestion i have ia for the “baked” eggs. The egg white becomes chewy - they used to fried eggs upon request but i didnt ask this time so i dont know if that is still available. Overall, it is good value and i have stayed here several times and will return again.
