I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Kordon Hotel Pasaport.
From the moment I arrived, the service made me feel genuinely cared for. The manager is truly exceptional: she is kind, attentive, and effortlessly professional. Not the scripted kind of hospitality, but the real kind. The kind that makes you feel safe, welcomed, and seen, especially when you’re traveling and need that grounding energy.
The location is absolutely perfect safe and beautiful. You can get anywhere in İzmir easily from here, and the view of the Agean Sea is simply unbeatable. Sitting by the water, watching the city breathe; it adds something special to the entire experience that you don’t forget once you leave.
The buffet-style Turkish breakfast was also wonderful, fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. A beautiful way to start the day, every day. I think I found the place every time we visit Izmir! Highly recommend it for both business or personal travel!

Good location hotel but very tired rooms…

Kordon Hotel has got very tired rooms. The rooms smell cigarette and also very bad smell comes from shower drains. Rooms and beds are very big and comfortable but terrible smell in the room kills the room comfort. Safes are very old and difficult to operate. Staff at the hotel brilliant and can not do enough for you. The smoking lounge is the best place overlooking the bay of Izmir .. it should be non smoking place.. as if they penalise non smoking clients..

The pillows were to big, the wifi went out every day even though the manager and down said they are working on it, the air-conditioned didn't cool after 1 hour of working it just blows air. The staff did what they could but the hotel itself is way over priced for what they provide, we checked after 5 days and went to a cheaper and much better hotel, will reserve from booking from your website in the future.

Staff were very friendly and most have very good English. The rooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. Some of the decor is a bit dated and smoking is the norm in Turkey so there's the smell of smoke in the rooms. Breakfast is good and there's good selection for dinner.

Fantastic location…restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, museums, ferry, shopping bazaar, bars, are all in walking distance from this hotel. No need to take public transportation or cabs, just use your feet.

The hotel staff is super nice and really takes care of you. The only thing I can mention was my room was not cleaned the first day of my stay.

The breakfast was awesome and quite a bit of variety to choose from.

The hotel had a great view, located right in front of the port and the sea, just 10 meters away. The breakfast room was fantastic, allowing you to enjoy your meal while looking directly out at the sea. The breakfast was good but not exceptional, and it was continental. The room was spacious, and the linens were clean, but the overall cleanliness and freshness of the room were not up to standard. For instance, I noticed some mold in the shower, which is common in coastal hotels, but it’s typical to address this regularly to prevent it from being visible. Additionally, I found a hanger left behind by a previous guest, which shows a lack of attention to detail in cleaning.

The staff were friendly, and the location was excellent. The best part of this hotel is undoubtedly the view and the location, as it offers easy access to different modes of transportation – boat, train, bus, and even taxi, with a taxi station located right in front of the hotel. Overall, I liked the hotel, but a few improvements, such as upgrading the shower and toilet materials, would make the experience even better.

Not great, a little TLC required to gain 4* title.

Disappointed that the restaurant was completely empty the 2 nights we were there so we had to eat elsewhere also nobody seemed to use the bar either despite having a great location and views.
Breakfast was quite good.
Spacious room and comfortable bed.
Fridge a waste of time having as it went off when the roomcard key was removed so useless to keep anything cold.

I my reservation was for a non smoking room, I requested a non smoking room at the check in,
But I was given was a smoking room They changed it to the non smoking floor, ,,But my first impression, the terrible smelling room I entered first.

This was a very good hotel to stay in, we had a lovely view of the sea from our room. The only thing I would say is breakfast could have been better with a bit more selection of food. Otherwise we had a great time, very close to Kanak Sq and Kemeralti Market.

Spacious clean room in quiet area, close walk to alsancak to bars and restaurants. Sea view. Highly recommend. Only very minor issue was that the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty on arrival and wasnt replenished for the 5 days we stayed. Also iron which is available on request is only at ones disposal for a short time.

A good hotel

The room was large with a floor to ceiling window and interesting views although not all rooms are the same. The bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was average. However the Bonjour restaurant food was excellent and good value for money.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
The location on the seafront near PASAPORT ferry boat terminal was very convenient for tourists.
I would stay there again if in Izmir.

Great location in the sea front and in the centre of the city. Very many eating and shopping places in the vicinity all easily walkable. Taxis always available outside the hotel. I stayed in a suit room which was very spacious and clean and comfortable. Good speed internet connections.

We arrived late evening. Our room's AC and WIfi was not working. I had work that I needed to complete that night and was not able to do so due to no wifi. The staff could not figure out why we did not have AC and did not have another room for us to move too. We had to suffer out the hot night. AC came on about 7am the next day when they finally fixed it. Very few outlets in the room and we had to ask for an extension cord because my husband uses a CPAP machine. Would not recommend this hotel.

Acually Kordon hotel isn't a four star hotel. Lobby isn't as good as four star hotel. You don't find any information about different part of hotel at room.The breakfast is very simple ,repitative and is not served very respectfully.

The only and amazing thing about this hotel is its fantastic rooms with amazing sea view in suits.

the hotel is located in a perfect spot but their service is terrible. don't expect a buffet breakfast, they serve the same menu on personal portion every morning, and it takes a while until they serve every guest.
There is no personal kit (toothpaste, soap, etc) at your room, and there is no guarantee you will receive it even after a few calls to room service, and front desk.
Lobby is as small as a residential living room.
Sheets and towels are stale. Staff are not friendly!

It was weird!!! When we just got to hotel, they started telling us that we came to the wrong hotel. Then they checked, and realised that we had an reservation, but never apologised. Also I booked the room with the sea view and paid extra for that and I got a view for a parking lot! With the sea in the corner somewhere.. worst hotel ever! Never coming back!

This hotel is in a prime location on the waterfront promenade close to many attractions, restaurants and cafes. The room was large and very clean. The bed was hige and very comfortable.The wifi was poor in the room though and the breakfast was very poor. Better to give it a miss and go to one of the cafes close by. Overall though a good experience.

Excellent base for Izmir and Ephesus

The location was superb on the Izmir waterfront. The room was large, comfortably furnished and had a really excellent shower - not so much a rainfall as a Niagra fall! The Turkish buffet breakfast had an excellent choice of hot and cold dishes.
Slight downside - the reach of the wifi was not brilliant and we had trouble connecting in our room.

Next to the sea with an amazing panorama view of Izmir golf. Awesome suite with excellent sunsets. Close proximity to all the ports and fascinating walking path in Konak district. My advice to the hotel management is to face lift a bit and take care of this hotel because of its location it has capabilities to be a 5 star hotel.

Absolutely fantastic views of the Aegean sea. Amazing views from our hotel room, something special when waking up in the morning and seeing the view. Good location to the ferry stations in passaport and also konak. Good location to the grand bazaar, tram station and ferry. Breakfast was excellent. The only slight negative was the internet which was hit and miss but overall absolutely fantastic hotel. Would book again.

The location is great, the room we had was sea view, and it was amazing, very close to city centre, shops and bazaars, lots of restaurants and cafes. The staff are very good and helpful.
Breakfast was average and the rooms are not very new, carpets are old and cupboards are old not sure why it is classed as 4stars as would not give it more than 3, but it will not be something preventing me from going again in the future.

We stayed in the suite with two exposures (views) overlooking the Aegean. Delightful breezes all day and night and wonderful to see the people of Izmir strolling along the pier. We enjoyed strolling as well and eating at the many fish restaurants which also face the water. Sunset is gorgeous! Buffet Breakfast in the hotel was superb. Huge variety of Turkish breakfast foods-- cheeses, meats, salads, eggs, breads, olives, jams. The works! Close to the bazaar for a Middle Eastern experience. 45 minutes by car to Ephesus-- not to be missed.

Location is what you really want no doubt, room size is perfect, bed is completely comfortable
Hotel seriously needs to be renovated , breakfast consist of limited variety and items based on a four stars hotel in my point of view. Beware that you have sea view by angle that is cause of building position. I think it is a 3.5 stars hotel
you have to reduce your expectations if your are going to choose this hotel as a four stars hotel.

This place is getting old. Right in the middle of town, which actually means there isn't that much immediately around it, other than the waterfront. Staff generally don't speak English. Internet slow. Breakfast ordinary.
