I do not recommend it

The photos in the Junior Suite (sea-view) stay that I booked showed photos of a hot tub which ended up not being included in our stay. The room was somewhat clean, however I found stains on a lot of the furniture. I also requested for a smoke-free room which I probably got, but the entirety of the hotel reaked of cigarettes: the hallways, revelator and lobby! The walls are extremely thin, I could hear all my neighbours talking, coughing, using the blow dryer. I booked this because the photos looked decent, reviews were ok and the price was fair. But I would not recommend this place at all unless you are ok with all of the above.

Bathroom issue

Although hotel over I was quite pleased with, the shower cubicle has many dirty and cracked tiles, and the jacuzzi in the junior suite did not work. Complained to hotel but they stated that they could no nothing as hotel full. Clearly at breakfast it was obviously not full

Upon return I have made Hotels.com aware of the situation but despite them trying to contact the hotel, they have been ignored also.

Whilst I have not requested a full refund I would have expected some gesture of goodwill from the hotel ( Pasa Pier Hotel) or the booking agent (Hotels.com) but apparently there’s no responsibility for anyone of the hotel just ignores the issues

The hotel suffers at times from only having one lift.

Breakfast is served on the top floor overlooking the sea which is stunning however the lift only reaches the 7th floor and the restaurant is on the 8th so not suitable for disabled travellers as there is a flight of stairs to reach it.

By no means a bad hotel. The room was comfortable and large and staff were friendly.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable but I was expecting bigger rooms; the pictures gave an impression of more space.
The staff were kind friendly and helpful.
There was no lounge in the hotel, only the rooftop restaurant, which was adequate but it would have been nice to have a lounge to relax in.

Very good location. The rooms towards the street are loud on lower floors. Ask for an upgrade to sea view locally if needed. Rooms are modern but they shouldn't have saved money on renovated bathroom. The stuff is cheap and falls apart. Awsome view from the breakfast room at the 8th floor. Breakfast was basic but ok for us. Great hotel for a 3 star though if you are not picky. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Great location and very easy to walk to anywhere. I chose economy room which was a mistake. Please don’t choose these rooms as the view is terrible.

Rude staff on reception and the terrible smell from the bathroom drains ruined my stay. The hotel wanted 2500 lira to extend the room for hours. I don’t think they like British visitors here.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was of a good size, and very clean as was the bathroom. Their was two comfortable armchairs and a small coffee table. A small fridge was provided with water and a kettle with coffee and tea. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were of good quality. The in jacuzzi shower was also very good. What was not good, was the bar had a very limited and poor selection of drinks. We ordered food from the restaurant menu and the chief changed the compliments to the meat dishes without advising us and was absolutely nothing like what was ordered. Basically he could not be bothered, so we walked out and ate elsewhere. Advise there is only street parking, thus not secure however, the consiage kept a eye on the car which had been parked outside the hotel front entrance so everything was ok. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The hotel refused to put a pair of AirPods I left behind in a box or envelope so I could arrange a courier for collection, so if you take anything of value and accidentally leave it in your room, consider it gone.

On top of this, the walls of the room were covered in marks, the mirror was held together with duct tape, and the coffee machine wasn't working at breakfast.

Fantastic position in Izmir.

Lovely view from executive suite room.
Comfortable and clean. Hotel in need of some refurbishment though .Scuffed walls, damaged furniture, mould around bath/ shower seal, towels a bit grey. Didn’t spoil our stay however . More than made up for by situation , convenience and view. Could do with hotel information in room and tourist information in foyer. However staff helpful when asked.

The photos on the website are very outdated, the hotel seems to be much older. Few staff members can’t speak English, I tried to order room service and she hung up on me because she couldn’t understand, half way through while I was ordering as well! Other than her, rest of the staff were very friendly aThe room service and breakfast wasn’t great. Bed was very comfortable I must say, although they had a wedding within the hotel and the music was extremely loud late at night and I had a tour the next morning so struggled to sleep. There’s no view, literally looking at another wall. There is lots of shops and places to eat within waking distance of the hotel. The towels were new surprisingly for an old hotel, however they need to be washed or something as they aren’t very absorbent.

We took the suite with the jacuzzi etc .. size of the room is nice .. view would have been great if the windows were cleaned .. lights in the room are dim .. very thin walls you can hear the next rooms tv .. reception was good check in check out easy .. parking service was great leave the car and they park it .. food we only had breakfast and like most places it’s very basic now .. location is nice close to everything .. staff very friendly and would help more if they understood but that’s most of the country and English .. all in all it was ok .. would stay again if the price was cheaper yes but on the same prices I would try something else next time ..

Although the hotel was in a beautiful location and the room/bed was very comfortable, upon arrival we were quoted a much higher rate then expected and were charged almost double. Make sure you pay for the room before arrival otherwise you will be charged in a different currency at a much higher rate.

For the price, I suppose we shouldn't expect more. The room was spacious. The bathroom was not in a very good condition as the silicone on the bath holding the shower doors in place was completely off colour. The hotel offers free parking, but the parking is actually on the street outside the hotel.
The Wi-Fi was really fast and the breakfast was great. The rooms could just do with a bit of an upgrade.

We hava stayed one night at room number 608 the room is terrible considering cleanness the bathroom furnitures etc the room carpet floor was full of hairs the pillow has some traces of something which I guess blood, the nightstand has a trace of one liquid poored etc, the location is good close to restaurant and bar streets, view is good just oppose of port.

Izmir in the cheap and easy.

A pretty good hotel for the price nice big room with a great view of the ocean and prominad. Good restaurants and club scene nearby. The elevator was broken and we were on the third floor. Room was nice but shower needed redone was stained and at least needed a good cleaning. Not a bad spot when visiting Izmir overall!

The location was good also staff was very helpful they helped us to do early check in but the rooms were very small and they were smelling so bad. They put two single bed together to make it king size but it was keep separating and we couldn’t sleep well also the windows were viewing another buildings wall it’s was impossible to get fresh air in a very small and smelly room.

The location od the hotel is the only good thing about this hotel because it is nexr to the Pier. Otherwise the room we stayed in was noisy as hell feom the outside. There was a guy walking next to our window shouting and trying to fix an air con machine at 3-4am in the morning it was like a joke. We called the reception twice and told them the staff said ok we will let them know to keep it quiet and nothing changed. Then my husband tried calling the reception again and it wasnt working. He found out when he got really pissed off and went to the receptipn that they unplugged their phone. The excuse for that was a lot of numbers are calling them from abroad. Your a hotel for goodness sake how can you unplug your phone in the reception if something was to happen in one of the rooms they would not be aware of it because their phone is off. Really stupid. We had to be moved into a standard room to sleep in because of the noise that's how bad it was. I'm not saying everyones experience will be like this, this is just our experience from our stay.

The hotel staff was great. But people have to know the area and how to order food. They don't have room service per se, but if you know what you want, you can tell the staff what you want and it can be delivered, even at 4 in the morning. The staff is great. I would recommend using a taxi service for pick up and drop off and not depend on the hotel for such things. It's location is great and offers plenty of places to go. Most importantly, know what you want and if this is your first time here, google local areas. Great stay. Also, housekeeping is fantastic.

This hotel was fairly good for the price. A great location - near the pier and shopping is close; but public transportation is quite a distance. There is no air conditioning and almost no circulation of air in the rooms since (at least our) window opened up, within inches, to a wall. The breakfast was nice.

Not thrilled about my stay. The main thing to know is that there is virtually no wifi and if you book through Expedia, they'll charge you for breakfast, despite it being included in the room charge. Theres also an issue with the heating in the room, it was far too hot whole time. Won't stay here again.

Location is great and restaurant view is wow!

We came for one night but decided to stay one more night. Location of the hotel is great, just couple of minutes to the ferry station and the promenade with restaurants and bars. Service is good, everyone is trying to help you starting from the reception team and finishing with restaurant team upstairs. Breakfast is fine, there are all varieties you may like and amazing view to the sea and city! We stayed in junior suit and room is okay, little old and required some fixing like curtains which we couldn’t close or open fully, little smell of canalization in the toilet, dirty lamps and little old tired furniture but it didn’t ruin our holidays. Hotel is fine for its location and price. We recommend it if you’re not too demanding about room conditions:)

The hotel staff was friendly, but although I got the most expensive room, the room needed renovation. I think the air conditioning was insufficient. And for the heat of Izmir, extra water could have been put in the fridge. There were only 2 small bottles of water. And there were many cigarette burn marks on the furniture.

Leider war mein Aufenthalt im Pasaport Pier Hotel in Izmir enttäuschend. Der Empfang war von Unfreundlichkeit geprägt, und das Personal schien überfordert oder unterbesetzt zu sein. Die Zimmer waren einfach, die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Besonders das Bad war schimmelig und dreckig, und es roch unangenehm. Auch das Frühstück entsprach nicht meinen Erwartungen.
Ich hoffe, dass das Hotel in Zukunft Verbesserungen vornimmt, aber momentan kann ich es leider nicht empfehlen.

Das Hotel wirkt auf den ersten Blick optisch ansprechend, ist aber deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Leider war unser Aufenthalt enttäuschend: Das Personal an der Rezeption war unfreundlich und zeigte erst Hilfsbereitschaft, nachdem Trinkgeld gegeben wurde. Besonders ärgerlich war das defekte Fenster in unserem Zimmer – trotz mehrfacher Reklamation wurde es während unseres 4-tägigen Aufenthalts nicht repariert, sodass wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen mussten.
Ich werde dieses Hotel nicht nochmals buchen.

Otelde 3 gece kaldık.
İlk gece kaldığımız odada TV kumandası çalışmadı görevli geldi yarım saat uğraşıp çalıştırmayı başardı,gece kapattık sabah yine açılmadı.
Banyoda tuvalet klozeti oturağı muhtemelen önceden kırılmış yerine standart dışı küçük oturak konmuş, banyoda diş macunu fırça vb. Şeylerin konması için bardak veya uygun kap yoktu,havluların asılması için askı yoktu, duş kabininde şampuan koyacak raf,vb. bir aksesuar yoktu, odada klimalar çalışmıyordu görevli çağırdık,otelin giriş katından çalıştırdı, ısı yükseltme ve düşürme için resepsiyondan yardım alabileceğimizi onların aşağıdan çözüm üreteceklerini öğrendik(?!). Odalarda su veya çay içmek için cam veya seramik kap yerine kağıt bardaklar konmuştu,çözümünü talep ettik o zaman getirildi.
İkinci gece için oda değişimi talep ettik ve bu sorunların bir kısmını çözümledik, çözümlenmeyenleri de biz çözümlettik.
Ama bu defa duş kabininde suyun akmadığı ve banyo anında “göl” oluşturduğunu gördük, fakat otelden ayrılıncaya bu sorunu maalesef çözemedik!
Arabamızın konduğu ilk gece otel önü sonrada belediye parkı benzeri bir yerden geldiğinde üzeri kuş pisliği ile kaplı durumdaydı,iki kez araba yıkatmak durumunda kaldık!
Hotels.com güvencesi ile gidip,gğvenmememiz gerektiğini de bu şekilde öğrenmiş olduk!😡

Trotz der kurzfristigen Buchung und Bestätigung in der Nacht, fand ich das Hotel sehr sicher. Trotz der zentralen Lage hatte ich kein Bedenken wegen den Parkmöglichkeiten. ich konnte mein Auto direkt an der Rezeption abgeben und morgens wieder vor dem Hotel abholen. Die Frühstücksbuffet befindet sich im Dachgeschoss mit einem Meeresblick. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Alsancak ın en güzel yerinde odaya girer girmez ellerimi yıkarken tıkalı lavaboyla karşılaştım... Banyodan maalesef koku geliyordu...Odanın duvarlarındaki nemden sebep hafif kabarma olmuş... Kahve içmek istedim böyle bir otelde karton bardakla içmek zorunda kaldım... Banyo yaptım havlum lekeliydi... Yatmak için yorganı açtım son derece kalitesiz /çukurlaşmış yatağımın üzerindeki çarşaf lekeliydi... En kötüsü de bina boşluğuna bakan odamda 6. katta kalırken ışıksızlıktan ve havasızlıktan kot -2 de kalıyor gibi hissettim... Odanın iç makyajı ve möbleleri güzel olsa da bu seyahtteki en son önemsenecek detay olduğu için etkilenmedim... Belki diğer odalar öyle değildir benimki promosyon odasıydı.. Ama bu kadar kötü olduğunu bilseydim tercih etmezdim. Sebebi güzel seyahatime keyifsiz bir deneyim oldu maalesef

Fiyat performans oteli denilebilir. Odalar biraz eski, özellikle televizyonların smart tv olmaması güncel şartlarda eksi bir puan. Kahvaltısı stantart ama restorant manzarası güzel. Geleceğimiz saati haber vermemize rağmen camı açık bırakmışlar İzmirin en soğuk gününde donduk oda sabaha kadar ısınmadı malesef. Tek iyi tarafı vale olması ve park yeri kolaylığıydı birde kahvaltı yeri manzarası iyiydi . Ancak kahvaltı malzemeleri kurumuştu tabaklar malesef kirliydi kahvaltı mekanıda cok soguktu. çayın ve manzaranın tadını çıkarmaktan başka yapacak bişey yoktu malesef. Yinede konum vb avantajı nedeniyle iyiydi.

Duvarlar feci şekilde ses geçiriyor

Oda duvarları o kadar ses geçiriyor ki yan odanın perde açma sesini bile duyabilirsiniz. Hem üst kat hem yan oda sanki bizim odadaydı. Sanki arada duvar yok da perde çekilmiş gibi. Açıklama kısmında ses yalıtımı ibaresine aldanmayın. Çalışanlar genelde güler yüzlü.

Otelin konumu mükemmel.Oda tam fotoğraftaki gibi geniş ve muhteşem bir deniz manzarasına sahip.
Mobilyalar ve dekorasyon biraz eskimiş.
Ses izolasyonu hiç yok.sabaha kadar yan ve alt odalardaki sesler bitmek bilmedi.
Sabah 05.30 da resepsiyona şikayet bildirmek zorunda kaldım.
Ses dışında tavsiye ederim.

die Anlage brauchte Renovieren aber wir waren zu frieden. frühstück war gut. Restaurant hat super aussieht das du Meer deutlich sehen kann und genießen. Preis in diese zeit war sehr gut. die Person die ist für Zimmer zuständig, war sehr Nett und fleißig. Ich will persönlich im bedanken. und Taxi stand war unter bei Hotel. wir haben vom dort bis Airport 18 Euro bezahlt. finde ich war sehr gut auch. Also ich werde noch mit Expedia meine nächste Reiße buchen. Zeit 2017 buche ich hier und bin sehr zufrieden, Danke EXPEDIA Team.

Maalesef oda inanilmaz küçük çok zor adım artiyorsunuz yatak çok eskiydi ve yastıklar taş gibiydi birde kapağı açılan bozuk bı TV ünitesi vardı sürekli kendi kendine açılıyordu. biz kalamadik bir kaç saat durup çıkmak zorunda kaldık asla tavsiye etmiyorum bu sorunları dile getirince de hiç yapıcı bir cevap da alamadım geceliği 3400 para olabilecek bir yer asla değil

Kaldığımız oda bina aydınlık alanına bakan, ufacık 0 güneş ışığı alan bir odaydı. Fotoğraflara aldanmayın. Fiyatını hakeden bir yer asla değil. Otoparkı yok, vale aracınızı alıp götürüyor... Kliması eski püskü. Orta sınıf şehir oteli denebilir.

Lokasyon çok iyi, çalışanlar cana yakın.
Eşyalar eski, yılların izleri var (koltuklar, banyo, lavabo, küvet kenarlarında lekeler vb.. ). sanki yenilenme zamanları gelmiş..
Kahvaltıda bolca çeşit var ama sıradan.. İzmir'e gelmişiz, boyoz olmasını isterdik örneğin..

Hizmeti çok iyi

Lokasyon olarak çok güzel bir yerde. Her şeyi yakın çevrede bulabilirsiniz. Hizmet çok güzel ve çalışanlar da çok yardımcı oldular. Beğenmediğimiz ne var diye düşünürsek; odadaki mobilyalar fazla eski geldi bize ve deniz kenarı bir otel için odadan manzara izlenecek bir pencere beklemeyin ama çatı katındaki restorandan izleyebilirsiniz.

Odadan hiç memnun kalmadım, yastık yatak ve pike aşırı sertti uyuyamadık. Duşakabinin lastiği çıkmış zar zor duş alabildim. Ve odanın camının gökyüzüne değil, kapalı bir duvara bakıyor olması rezaletti.
Onun haricinde kahvaltı iyiydi.

Kafasına göre hem aracı siteler hem de kurum fiyat belirliyor. Aracı uygulamalara yönlenmemizin sebebi daha uygun fiyata konaklamak istememizden. Ancak biz otele gidince öğrendik ki otelin verdiği fiyattan çok daha fazlasına ve duvar gören bi oda için para vermişiz.
Otel konum itibariyle harika bi yerde. Feribot iskelesinin hemen yakınında. Odalar temiz, kalış yapanlar için günlük oda temizliği idare eder. Personel çok ilgili değil. Bu kadar yüksek yastıkları nerden bulmuşlar, gerçekten meraktayız. Boynumuz tutuldu. İkinci gün yastık değişimi rica ettik, yardımcı oldular.

Sound isolation is poor, you can hear whatever is discussed in the next room. Especially annoying at midnight. Decoration and furnishings are old. Staff are friendly. Location is superb.
