Everything was excellent, location of this hotel was perfect for our stay. My only black point was the lack of a tour desk or concierge advise for tourist information. I wanted a last minute reservation for a tour, front desk staff wanted to help me and offered me a 250 euros tour per person, I went outside and on travel & tour agency got a 110 euros per person, same tour and maybe more vip than expected in the hotel. Please try to be more helpful and defend tourist from scammers. Also taxis are rude and non trustful.

Limited breakfast and horrible service. Servers remind busy in group chats around coffee and tea service and no one will ask for a coffee till you literally go and ask for one. Dirty tables takes forever to clean. Dark dingy room that was I guess is never renovated since the hotel was built. At best it should be rated as a three star hotel, definitely not five. It looks like it surviving on large group of guided tours. Never gain wants to stay at this hotel.

Mövenpick Izmir is strategically Located on Cumhuriyet Blvd and opposite Cumhuriyet Meydani. Niche restaurants are near Meydani vivid area.

Cosy Hotel, classic and modern. Friendly staff, I extend my gratitude to Murat, Samet at check in, Elayda very helpful guest relations, Ilgan at reception, Semra at Dining room. All are welcoming professional and attentive. Maintence staff very attentive quick. They fixed curains so as Housekeeping are professional Rooms are nicely decorated and toilets with nice design.

The only thing need to be improved at rooms water pressure for sink and shower, maybe our room only not all hotels rooms so I cannot generalise room #903. The shade curtains I recommend to be upgraded to electrical rather than manual. There is a Dining room on 9th floor that need to be separated from rooms at least for its accessibility enterance. So no odours are in hallway.

Hotel has a nice Icecream by Mövenpick must tey it..The Hotel is a great hotel that I strongly recommend to anyone visiting Izmir.

The staff was amazing. They all have done their best in terms of hospitality.

The hotel conditions are pretty bad. The rooms, stains in carpets, cracks in bathrooms, not properly placed tap misplacements.

Except for the beautiful staff, I would recommend SwissHotel Efes.

Perfect in all aspects. We called before booking and informed them we have a high car. They had valet parking. We parked at the reception. They removed the cones for us. We had a 2.4 meters high car. We took the luggage and they took the car to the back of the hotel. You can have access to the car from the hotel's back door. The reception staff were amazing. The decor is old but still grand. The room was big, had all the amenities. Bathroom had a 'window' over the bathtub looking into the room, but you can close the blind by turning the small knob in the bathroom. Quiet rooms. Breakfast was buffet..15€ per person if you book it at the reception before breakfast. The location is spot on. Walking distance to the lovely promenade. Restaurants galore!!

I recently stayed at the Movenpick Izmir and was so impressed by the hotel and staff. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately I fell ill during my stay, but the hotel staff went above and beyond to assist and accommodate me. They helped me arrange trips to the hospital, delivered my medication when I couldn't get out of bed and sent tea up to the room for me. They called to check on me throughout my stay and truly made me feel cared for.
I will come back to Izmir to see what I missed while sick and I will definitely stay at the Movenpick again!

The A/C does not provide sufficient cooling even in the most powerful setting. Considering the previous reviews from other clients, this seems like an unresolved issue and makes the room uncomfortable. The room was clean although there were some spots showing its age. Staff&service were great but maintenance and facilities need some work. I don’t think I will stay here again unless the A/C problem is resolved.

The hotel is okay - but not amazing that I would want to stay again. We arrived on April 23, and the room AC didn't work. We were informed that central heating was still on for the whole hotel, and that air conditioning individual rooms was not an option. The staff was friendly and offered a fan, which was a reasonable solution. The hotel is walking distance to the seaside and to so many shopping and dining options.

It has the comfort (silent, clean, safe, comfy bed) of a five star hotel in the city center (easy access). But the roof bar was not operating so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful city view with a drink. There was not also in-room coffee maker.

On my final night there was no hot water to shower with. I tried to tell the reception, but 3/4 of the staff behind the desk disappeared into an office as I approached. The one person left behind seemed to not understand what I was saying to her.
I asked a local colleague to report my issue in Turkish and the hotel response \"was rude\" in the words of my colleague.

I liked the location. Only few staff can speak good English, most of them I had difficulty communicating with them. I also did not like the loud noise coming from the nightclub on the 11th floor to my room on the 9th floor. They were not flexible to extend the checkout one hour, but they were nice to provide me with a room to pray and I really appreciate that.

For my first time in izmir i chose the movenpick hotel, expecting standard high quality service, we came in and no one offered to carry our luggage, or take them, the receptionists did their jobs but were very scanty when it came to inquiries and information, as if they expect you to know everything, barely eye contact, we took the wrong elevator and no one bothered to guide us to the right elevators, however tgrre was a receptionist at night who took the time to explain and did his job well and had a smile on his face :) i chose to have breakfast the following morning, i was told by the receptionist that it cost 14€ (around 250 turkish lira), when i finished they hurried to bring me the receipt where it cost 300 tl, overall not really crazy about the 5 star hotel

We stayed as a family of four, two adults and two children. We got two rooms at the end of the long hallway where there is an additional door when closed you can leave your rooms' doors open to connect two rooms which is a handy feature for families with children. The breakfast is quite rich and location is perfect - walking distance to all major locations in İzmir.

movenpick is the corret spot in Izmir if you are looking somewhere to feel like at home. all staff are amazing and they are doing their best for your comfort and to meet your expectaions (special thanks to miss rabia). the rooms and and overall hotel including the amenities (the pool etc.) are very clean (don’t have any worries regarding Covid-19) and if there happens any misfortunes they solve it immediately. the food and restaurant staff (incl. room service) are wonderful (again special thanks to the manager).there is also organic food options even it is a bit limited, they try to do whatever you want always in a best possible way. the location is great and the loby, the rest and the roof bar has tremendous views. if you like be treated in professional approach, it should be your address in Izmir.

Great location by the sea and on the city centre of Izmir. It’s a walking distance to all medical clinics, restaurants, tourist areas and all city centre facilities.

Very modern and clean hotel, rooms with a first class restaurant, gym and swimming pool.

This hotel was so dirty, and beat up it was awful, the furniture someone had taken a stick to it and the carpet looked like it was from the 40's. The straw that broke the camels back was that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING!
it was a nightmare... DON'T GO.

This is probably the best hotel option in Izmir.
Great location, excellent service and staff.
Only thing is its a bit outdated, I would say the hotel is more of a upscale 4-star hotel instead of a 5-star hotel but overall, for the location and price, its a 5-star rating from me.

Great location but is around 12-15mins from the closed metro or tram. Has nice sauna and steam room with a indoor pool which was chilly when I went in the evening maybe because they had turned the heating off.
Like with the Hilton the interior is outdated a bit. The blood AC/heating and thermostat was a nightmare to control so I had to report it but I’m not sure it was fixed.
They provide you with slippers, gowns etc.
Everything else is lovely.

The a.c not working in the spring .. but they put in hotel it have air conditioning.. if we open the window to get an cold air it's come toooo much mosquitos and very noisy from the dogs snd the street .. the hotel change my room to a better room thanx for that.. but they should have a solution for the air conditioning because not all the guests like to sleep with out cold air. Also the pictures in the hotels.com doesn't match the reality .. the picture for a suite room but the room it standard room..

The staffs were very kind and polite. Everything was very good. The room was clean and nothing was lacking. Only one thing... around 21:00 o’clock I got a phone call from the reception. It was just asking me if everything was ok. It was very kind of them. But actually I was relaxing in the room, thinking of sleeping early. Therefore having a phone call was not really an exciting experience.... although they had very good intention. Other than this, there was nothing to complain. I liked the hotel and the facilities including a swimming pool and sauna.

It was very pleasing for the short vacation. I booked a executive room and resources was very delightful. The hotel's meal was gratifiying. Meal and oyher facilities prices was adequeate.
Defitinitely i am going to try at least once.
