Great hotel and great location, noisy though as it's on a main road. The first day we arrived the bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied from previous occupiers. Staff are friendly. Shower is leaking to the rest of the bathroom just like any other hotel in Istanbul. Reviewer is From the UK.

The people in the reception were all helpful especially Nuraldin and Izzat. The service was good and the hotel is clean. The breakfast is somewhat rich and the people there are quite helpful and it is good to have hot milk as well! Though I believe they need to change the doors in the bathrooms - They are made of glass and do not offer privacy. Except that everything was very good.

The hotel location was well suited. It was easy access from the main road and a walking distance to the Istanbul Metro. The Grand Bazaar and Sultan Ahmet a good liesurely 20 min walk from the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 10pm and were greeted by a very friendly bell boy and a very polite and friendly receptionist, Mr Nurdin.The hotel staff were all very friendly and caring. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.The breakfast was nice and traditional. However I would recommend a continental menu be added to the breakfast. Overall a very pleasant, warm and comfortable stay at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Istanbul.

The pictures were somewhat misleading. It's a cheap hotel and worn. Hotel is on a VERY busy road and even with the windows closed, i did not sleep at all that night.They were nice enough to move me to the other side and that was quiet. Internet was intermittent and for 3 of the 4 nights I was there, there was no internet access. The hotel was close enough to the Tram, easy to get to main spots but a little isolated from the hub...basically on the outskirts. Breakfast was strange. If you are used to a western breakfast - you may be disappointed. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Bulvar Palas
I'd recommend Bulvar Palas for travellers looking for a reasonably priced hotel with good access to the main tourist sights of Sultanahmet (its a short tram ride or 25 minute walk from the Blue Mosque). The rooms are ok although make sure you ask for one at the side or back, those facing the very busy road would be noisy. Breakfast is traditional Turkish - cheese, meats, olives and bread.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in May 2012 . The AC in the rooms were hopeless, opening the windows meant traffic noise, the beddings and blanket were real poor quality and too cheap, the lifts did not work - or you had to wait ages for it to be available - meaning it was quicker to go to 5th floor on foot, which I did every single time. The walls were so thin that I woke up every morning at 6 am to the rather loud shower noise of the next door guest. The WIFI internet was a joke. We had been reserved 2 King beds in 2 separate rooms, and only one of the rooms had King size bed and when I complianed I was told \"all other rooms have been booked up\"! The receptionist always showed an attitude and when complianed he did not even apologise or try to make us happy. We were charged 20 liras for a 5 min local phone call from our room during check out(which he could have waivered as a good will gesture - but no that would be too good from this hotel). The rooms were nothing like the photos -very tacky and much smaller than the pics. The jacuzi and sauna finish at 5 pm, so useless for a tourist that spends the day sight seeing. On the plus side the breakfast bar was Okish although the sausages were cold and seemed like left overs of the previous day.I can't think of a more rubbish hotel in the past hotels I have been to.

The stay at Bulvar Palas met our expectations and needs finely. The room was no luxury but good and clean, the staff very friendly, breakfast ok and the location close to bus and tram stops. The only minus was the missing wlan connection. The free car ride to the airport at the end was a nice surprise. We would like to stay at Bulvar Palas again.

Although I arrıved early at 8am the staff were very welcomıng and helpful and found a room for me by 8.15am. The sıngle room was large. comfortable and extremely clean, wıth a kıng sıze bed, LCD TV and coffee makıng. Locatıon was near transport and walkıng dıstance to shops and major sıghts lıke Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Palace. . Would hıghly recommend thıs excellent hotel and staff.

Fra vi ankom hotellet og helt til vi forlot så har det vært en super service. Vi fikk et suite rom når vi egentlig hadde bestilt vanlig rom. De hjalp oss med å ta imot pakker som vi hadde bestilt fra nettbutikker, fant strykejern med engang når vi spurte. De har også transport til og fra flyplass osv. Veldig hyggelige ansatte. Super hotell for den prisen, anbefales på det sterkeste.

Direkt an der Strasse. Es ist schon viel Lärm aber mit geschlossenen Fenster hört man den Verkehr nur leise. Super zentral zum Basar und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Rundherum viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Zimmer waren sauber und schön. Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war auch okay.

Un hotel viejo pero bien conservado, habitación amplia y con buen baño, aire acondicionado bastante deficiente, no enfría lo suficiente y en está época el calor agobia, la persona denla recepción bastante grosera y descortés, se molesta porque exige que le cancele en valor del transporte del aeropuerto con tarjeta de crédito, solo efectivo lo que deja la impresión que hay un negocio mefio ilegal entre los empleados del hotel y el conductor, además es excesivamente costoso, cancelé €50 y cuando retorne al aeropuerto en un vehículo exactamente igua pedido en Uberl, el costo fue de €20, ojo con esto para que no salgan tumbados.
