Good hotel for the price. We stayed in the economy room with exterior bathroom. The room was as described - simple and small, but clean and comfortable.

Only downside as the air condition / AC. The room units are controlled centrally and the hotel did not turn it on overnight. It was very warm in the room even at the end of October. Would have been 5 stars if not for the AC.

Solid hotel in Izmir near Basmane

Good hotel, with good complimentary breakfast. Room was a bit on the small side, and shower was definitely on the small side, but it was good value for money. I wasn't able to keep the water in the shower from going everywhere, but this was manageable after a night or two. Room was decent, wifi was good, and breakfast had good variety and portions. Breakfast was Turkish, which worked for me, but if you're looking for a western breakfast, would suggest you go elsewhere. In terms of location, the hotel was located within 5 minutes walk of the Basmane metro station and 5 minutes of the kulturpark. It is also within walking distance (or a short bus ride) to both the Smyrna agora and Konak pier, so it is very convenient. Staff at the hotel were friendly, and generally my stay was pleasant.

I found the hotel entirely adequate. The breakfast was good, though the dining space was small and it could be hard to find a space to sit sometimes. The hotel was clean and centrally located, though the area immediately around it was not very inviting for tourists. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little cramped but clean and the bathroom was nice.

Proprietors are deceptive. I reserved a non-smoking room in this supposedly non-smoking hotel. When I arrived after a long day of travel, I was taken up 4 flights of stairs to a room that reeked of smoke. I was too tired to refuse the room, but, after 4 hours of inhaling nostril-stinging nicotine embedded in the fabric headboard and curtains, I called downstairs and was told there were no other rooms available. I resorted to sleeping in the bathroom, with the door closed! At 08:00, I demanded a new room, and was given one by Ismael. Aside from his assistance, and being the unfortunate one to hear my wrath, this place is a smoker's haven. My new room was across the hall from the kitchen service entrance, which reeked of fresh smoke from employees. I had to place a towel below my door to keep that smoke out of my room. If you have a health condition, do not stay here.

This is the second review I'm writing as I don't know why my initial review didn't get recorded. It is because I was very pleased with my stay at the piano hotel that I am taking time to do this review. I want to acknowledge Mr. Ersen at reception for his professionalism and helpfulness. I was in town for a half marathon and sightseeing and was given a room with all of my preferences. Thoroughly enjoyed the room and view from balcony. Highly recommended and will stay there again upon my return

Classy piano-focused hotel that's central

From the start, Ersen was very helpful in providing a quiet room with my preferences and suggesting relevant local information. As an amateur pianist, it's great to visit a hotel with a well-tuned piano; there are name brand 5 star hotels with pianos out of tune. The breakfast was diverse however, I didn't have to time savor so I suggest guest find the time to enjoy. Plus there's a second floor area to relax.

Online pictures of the room were misleading. We booked the superior room with the balcony and the room was tinyyyyyyy!! The \"balcony\" was a sliver of area outside, where you could not even sit or have two people stand. Room also felt old. Walls were thin and you could hear the other nearby room conversations and when doors would open and close which was disruptive when we were trying to sleep. Interactions with most of the front desk employees were not particularly warm or friendly.

Will say the breakfast was great - good selection, tasty and fresh ingredients. Location was great for being in the city center and walkable to major spots.

The hotel is within easy walking to Konak and Alsancak areas. The room was basic but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The included traditional style breakfast had lots of options.
The airline had lost my bag, but the hotel were very comforting and helpful in getting it back.

As promised- this is a great place to stay Izmir!

What an easy stay. Really convenient location, helpful friendly staff, and a good value for the money. proximity to the old town, harbour, bazaar, Agora- was a great short walking distance. The rating going into this property was a deserved 8.8- realize that this is not opulent, it is simply just very satisfying. I didn’t want the trappings and price of a high-priced chain hotel- this is a great alternative that I would use again for a fun outing in Izmir. Absolutely no negatives for this property. The adjacent 88 bar is a great place for a nightcap. Thanks to the crew for an enjoyable stay- if I return to Izmir this will be my first consideration for a place to stay.

Dont be fooled but the past review as my husband and I did. First of all the room that they offered was not suitable for a couple, our luggages didnt have enough space, also I we want to go to the bathroom whom it happened to be outside the room, I would have to jump off my husband on the bed. So when we asked for another room, he charged us $60 for the whole 5 days. I am more convince that its a trap to get more money. The bathroom in the new room is soo rusty, the shower head is dirty and awful. My husband had to buy scotch tape to keep the seat cover open because it keeps closing on us. The faucet keeps leaking greenich liquid. On top of that the roudness of the guy at the check in is disgusting and shameful and it continues to the morning hostess to the laudry ladies whom they didnt clean our room on the first day bcs we left our room at 11 am, so they wants us to leave early, how about I plan my trip for there convinience? The next day they kept talking loudly and slap things up just to make us leave. The morning buffet whomnit happen to be the be the same daily deefrost food, we happened to got nothing to do with Izmir's famous breakfast. We couldnt wait to leave that nightmare expirence. I wonder how they got all those certificates from expedia and other sites. I will make sure personaly to let all the travel agencies in Leb that its a trap hotel

Piano Hotel was fantastic. When I remember izmir I will remember Piano Hotel because it was better than whole trip to izmir
It changes the concept of hotel three stars with amazing Decorations ( everything is colorful and like piano the room was beautiful and breakfast)
Plus all of that they gave me room for triple even I booked single room just because they had extra room, they were very helpful in describing the road to airport and I sent to them before I arrived to izmir and they responded. Plus all of this their location is very good and near to everything,really I can’t say more than you are hotel with 5 stars
I encourage them to become more famous and keep prices by this because they made very good branding to themselves

The location of the hotel is very close to the metro and tram, 5 min walk to the beach, the owners are friendly, the design of the hotel was nice, the colors were also very nice, the small details were given importance, the rooms were very clean, the most important point for me. Great staff. Very clean. Location is really bad - on a sordid alleyway full of vagrants. No elevator and my room was on the 4th floor!. My room was small but adequate. Food was pretty good. I liked the hours for breakfast since it was open until 11 a.m. but it was tight in the breakfast room and hard to find a place to sit. Really far from the Kordon.

I had a perfect stay at the Piano Hotel in Izmir. The staff was welcoming and helpful, my room was set up beautifully, the breakfast is outstanding, and the location was ideal. (A 10 minute walk to thr Kordon, the Arkas art museum, the Hisar Mosque, Lunapark, and the Kemeralti market. 25 minutes to the Izmir Archeological Museum. My stay at Piano Hotel was outstanding! In fact, it was the best hotel I have stayed in during my 8 months of traveling. The room and the hotel are extremely clean. The breakfast is excellent with many, many food choices. The common area is comfortable and the furnishings are like a boutique hotel. I appreciated being upgraded to a room with a small balcony. I also very much liked having a hot water kettle in the room to drink tea and coffee late at night. For the room I was staying in, soap and shampoo were provided and the shower was clean, modern, and had plenty of room. The hotel is on a side street so it is very quiet. It is also easy walking to many places I visited in Izmir, including the waterfront. The staff speak great English, are very friendly, and are knowledgeable about transportation to and from other towns. The bed was comfortable and the linens were very white and clean. It was hard for me to leave because I liked it there so much! I highly, highly, recommend Piano.

The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the major attractions and is close to the metro station. The staff are welcoming and helped to carry the bags upstairs to the third floor room. Our room was very basic and small but everything worked fine. The breakfast buffet was very good and consisted of mainly Turkish items. All in all, we would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Izmir.

I had a great time at the piano. Everyone was really nice and helpful. I’ve never experienced such a homely hotel. I enjoyed coming back after a long walk in the city. The service was extremely good. The free breakfast buffet was good and the size of the eating area was pleasantly small, compared to bigger hotels where it super loud and crowded. I haven’t got anything bad to say about the hotel. The location was close to everything. Top notch.

Otelin konumu merkezi olup, bazı resepsiyonistlerin yaklaşımı kibar ve yardımcıydı; bu yönüyle teşekkür ederim.Ancak konaklamam süresince yaşadığım sorunlar nedeniyle genel deneyimim olumsuz oldu. Rezervasyonumda ilk verilen oda çok küçük olduğu için kalamayacağımı belirttim. Bunun üzerine daha büyük bir oda önerildi ve ek ücret ödeyerek bu odaya geçtim. Ancak bu odada perde bulunmuyordu. Temel bir konfor unsuru olan perdenin olmaması, daha yüksek ücret ödenmiş bir oda için kabul edilebilir değildi. Isıtma sistemi merkezi olarak kontrol edildiğinden, klimayı odadan bireysel olarak yönetemedim. Akşamları kapattırmak, sabahları tekrar açtırmak zorunda kaldım. Klima hem gürültülüydü hem de verimli çalışmıyordu. Isınma sorunu kalıcı bir çözümle giderilmek yerine geçici olarak taşınabilir bir ısıtıcı verilerek idare edildi.
Konaklama sürecinde beni en çok rahatsız eden konu ise güvenlikle ilgiliydi. Aynı kadın çalışan tarafından, temizlik saatleri dışında iki ayrı zamanda odamın kapısı sert şekilde zorlandı ve anahtar denenmeye çalışıldı. Bu durumu yönetimle paylaşmama rağmen herhangi bir özür ya da geri dönüş yapılmadı. Çözüm olarak yalnızca “uzak tutma” önerildi.Güven ve misafir memnuniyeti beklentim karşılanmadığı için konaklamamı planladığımdan erken sonlandırmak zorunda kaldım. Yönetimsel anlamda misafir güvenliğine ve temel konfor unsurlarına daha fazla önem verilmesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum.

Fiyat performans, kahvaltısı ise klasının çok üstünde. Oda gece soğuktu klima pek bir işe yaramadı. Otel tam olarak vaadettiğini gerçekleştiriyor. Tuvaletlerin odaların dışında olması o kadar da büyük bir problem değil tam odanın karşısında zaten, evinizde tuvalete gidiyorsunuz gibi yani. Şampuan bırakabilirlerdi, bildiğiniz el yıkama sabunu vardı duşta. Çok daha iyi değerlendirilebilecek potansiyeli var umarım değerlendirirler.

Resepsiyon ve katlardaki çalışanlar çok ilgili ve güleryüzlü idi. Kahvaltı çok çeşitliydi. Farklı damak zevklerine hitap eden yeterince ürün mevcuttu. Konumu çok iyiydi ve gece de güvenle ulaşılabilecek bir yerdeydi. Temizlik daha iyi olabilir, olmalı hatta.

la habitación estaba limpia. tuvimos un problema de olores con cañeria, pero nos cambiaron la habitación sin problema y esta bien. para nosotros que es solo dormir perfecta aunque recomiendo ver bien la habitación. muy cerca del centro
