The location was fantastic, the staff was very friendly/helpful, and the common areas were nice and clean. The carpet in the room and the curtains were pretty worn/outdated, but overall it was very good.

Stayed 3 nights. They never once cleaned our rooms. They had a newly implemented required valet parking situation. It was a disaster. There was an app that worked poorly and we often waited 20 minutes for our car that we could see but they had our keys! We have stayed there every spring since 2017 but we are done. They added a new rooftop bar without bar service and it was closed on a Saturday night. Something is horribly wrong with this hotel now.

The valet (which they had just implemented) was very frustrating to deal with (they just need more experience there I'd say). The room itself was beat up, with stains on the carpet. Also, the pool and spa were pretty nasty (didn't appear to have been scrubbed or vacuumed anytime recently), the pools were quite cold, and we had a hell of a time trying to find any towels. What we had counted on for an afternoon with the kids turned into a quick 20 minutes and retreating back to our room. The hotel is very convenient for a location, but lacks in some key elements that would make it a more enjoyable stay. I highly doubt we would ever choose to stay here again.

Room was quite outdated. All of the floor tiles in the bathroom were loose and would shift with every step. Pull out bed was awful. No cushion or padding, you could feel every spring. Pool was very dirty and only 1 of the 3 hot tubs was actually hot. My daughter tried to swim once, but it was very short lived and she never wanted to go back in because of the condition.

I was in town for the Mesa Marathon and stayed at this hotel because of the location, even though it was much higher than hotels just a mile or two away. The staff were wonderful. Very attentive to guests. The hotel itself is older and in need of a face list. It has sliding doors to the bathrooms, which leave gaps and not the best sense of privacy when traveling with friends. In our bathroom tiles were missing or loose. Our room had a pullout sofa but no linens, two bottles of conditioner but no shampoo, but plenty of complimentary bottles of water. Overall not horrible, but if you don't need that location, there are other places to stay that are more economical.

It’s super quiet. We travel with our dog and the park in front of the hotel is very convenient. The hotel is close to our favorite restaurant in Mesa (Icho Izakaya Sushi and grill), so we stay here often for convenience. It’s close to highway without the noise.

The Expedia listing for Sheraton Mesa Hotel states that pets are free. This is totally incorrect. I was told, upon registration in the lobby, the hotel charges $50/visit for pets. Major difference, which Expedia needs to follow up with in order to correctly list the Sheraton's policy on pets.

I didn’t stay in the hotel after being moved 3 different times to 3 separate rooms. Each room had some sort of stained carpet or dog/cat fur and debris. The smell of cat urine was in every room. The manager of the cleaning department had to come and see and also confirmed that the room was not clean. I knew it was a pet friendly hotel but was not aware that every room was pet friendly. I had to ask for a refund and find a new hotel last minute.

When we checked into the hotel, we found there was no TV remote in the room. We called the front desk and were told none were available, and maintenance couldn’t be located. The clerk offered to bring one the next morning, but we were checking out then. I travel for work and stay in hotels twice a week—having a working TV is part of the experience, and this was disappointing.

An Incredible Stay Every Time!

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and each experience has been nothing short of amazing. The hotel is spotless, and the rooms are comfortable, with beds that guarantee a great night's sleep. The staff is truly the highlight—so friendly and always willing to help with anything you need.

One of my favorite features is the Saturday night movie by the pool. It’s such a fun touch that makes the stay even more special. Speaking of the pool, it's absolutely stunning and a great place to relax or enjoy some downtime.

The restaurant is another standout, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the food is consistently delicious. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a meal by the pool, it’s always a treat.

Every time I stay, I leave with amazing memories, and I can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend!

Everything was good, only we got a far room for my mom she is 98 years old. They didn't have room service. We had a exit near door of our room. but maybe for safe was close. We needed walk far for our parking. In the restaurant they haven't bananas for breakfast. They don't have buffet neither. They need more employees. But is hard times. Because at 7 am approximately was very noisy the alarm of emergency. My mom scare she was sleeping. But this things happen. They gave us apologies. In general everything was good. Thank you very much. We got a comfortable room.

Because of its convenient location near my business trip destination, this was my fourth time staying at this hotel. We stayed for three nights in total. However, on the morning of our final day, August 8th, at around 7:20 a.m., a loud and piercing alarm suddenly went off. I initially assumed it would stop within a few minutes, but it continued for at least twenty minutes.

When I inquired at the front desk, I was told it was a “test.” This explanation was both surprising and unacceptable. The timing and duration were entirely unreasonable—what kind of “test” lasts nearly half an hour and is conducted around 7 a.m., when most guests are still resting? This incident severely disrupted my sleep, especially as I had gone to bed very late the previous night.

Equally concerning was the hotel’s complete lack of communication. There was no prior notice, no updates during the incident, and no follow-up afterwards. The matter was treated as if nothing had happened. Such poor handling of a situation, combined with the lack of consideration for guests’ comfort, resulted in one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any hotel. I am deeply disappointed in the brand, and I hope this feedback will be taken seriously to prevent similar incidents in the future.

One of the sheets had old blood stains, not from me. reported it to the front desk. Some lady came up to look at it, took pictures and told me that someone would be out around 3pm and change all the sheets. Time was around 2:48pm when she told me that. We went to the bar and pool downstairs, returned after 6pm and sheets were not changed. Reported again, and someone did go after I reported the second time. The lady that took pics balmed it me. It was on my side of the bed, but the stain was on top sheet and I dont have any open cuts or scars. She was extremely rude!!

Room smelled like sweaty socks, shower floor was in need of repair, the shower layout is inane (controls and head are at the opposite end of where the door is so you spray yourself and/or the shower door depending upon which way you open it), bathroom door is useless for privacy, room chairs were worn / damaged, pillows were pathetic.

I stayed at this hotel Thursday through Sunday. The weekday staff was very kind, attentive and welcoming. The weekend staff was fine but just did not give the same vibe. The hotel did not offer all of the services that it stated it would offer daily. For example - Coffee shop was not open each day. The restaurant was open for a buffet breakfast but only for the conference staying at the hotel. The hotel stated room service was available , but did not provide. The hotel seemed busy, however as a hotel - one would think they could accommodate many guests.
The facilities were fine, except the elevator worked when it wanted to- hit or miss.

The room- very nice clean, spacious, comfortable bed.
Overall would definitely stay again. I felt safe and it was clean.

Just seemed in rough shape considering how new it is. Lots of areas need repairs throughout. Even our room was kinds banged up. Tile pulling off the floor when you walk on it, drywall repairs needed. Other than that, great place.

Run down property. Sliding bathroom door, with no lower track did not close. Asked front desk twice to fix and nothing was done. Furniture damaged with outdated carpeting. TV outdated with limited smart TV functions. Cox cable? With no premium stations? Is this 2015 or 2025?
Consistently understaffed in bar and dining area. (The staff on hand were quite good, but were overwhelmed as they tried to keep up).
Overall, it seemed as if the hotel was outdated and got by with as little staff as possible. Considering the premium price and Sheraton name, this was very disappointing.

The hotel was very clean and quiet during my stay. The room was comfortable and spacious. I didn’t get to take advantage of many of the amenities as I checked in later in the evening and had to check out by 5:30 am for a flight. I do plan to return in July and stay longer.

Highly recommend!

We have stayed at this hotel several times and always love coming here. We particularly love that it is pet-friendly and that there is a beautiful lake just outside the door to enjoy anytime with our pup in tow. It is so peaceful. The hotel is beautiful inside and we can't wait to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor pool and grounds. It is located away from the hustle and bustle but still easy to access from the freeway and is convenient to some of our favorite spots, including the Desert Botanical Garden and Four Peaks Brewery. The staff here are very personal and really make you feel at home.
