Hotel que necesita mantenimiento por fuera y por dentro. No tiene ascensor (ni siquiera una pequeña rampa en la entrada).
El desayuno es regular: la calidad de los embutidos es bastante baja, hay cubiertos y tazas sucias (algunas MUY sucias). Y no cuidan los detalles: no hay agua, no encienden la tostadora de pan...
Las habitaciones están muy mal insonorizadas y hace frío (el AC/calefacción no llega a calentar).
El hotel está muy apartado de todo, es poco práctico.
La wifi va lenta.

The location is overall ok, the park is nice and there are many cats, which is always sweet.
The pictures of the hotel are definitely NOT accurate, particularly the pool which is so rundown.
The rooms have been \"updated\" but extremely badly and you might as well sleep on the floor with that bed. My husband had the worst back pain from it.
A tiny sliver of soap and shampoo are provided and absolutely nothing else, no water, no coffee, no mini fridge... On and on.

We were there on a Saturday and a wedding was going on until very late so if you want to sleep, bring earplugs.

Upon check-in, the front desk guy told us the restaurant opened at 8pm but clearly didn't mention that because of the wedding we wouldn't be able to dine there, which we only found out once we came downstairs.

TV doesn't turn on, lights don't work, flooring is all crooked and badly installed, the bathroom door hasn't had any grease for 50+ years it seems, so forget going to the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking your spouse up.

We decided to checkout the next day and the woman at the front desk almost didn't seem surprised. She didn't give any indication of caring why we were leaving early or trying to ask if there's something they could do or apologize at all. She literally didn't give a damn.

Avoid and don't trust the good reviews.

Guy on reception last night was excellent. So helpful.
If we come again we would go for a bigger bed as the standard was quite small.
Came down at 8am for breakfast. Nothing was ready. Had to ask and the guy scuttled from reception and turned all the lights on and starting laying stuff out. We were in a rush so could not wait. Only able to grab a coffee. But what we saw coming out was pretty poor and not worth what was charged...

Had an amazing stay here, really an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. The surrounding city is filled with kind people and great places to eat. The hotel itself is staffed also by very kind people and was overall very comfortable. There is also a good breakfast buffet. Overall highly recommend.

Our third visit, and our stay was as special as both previous ones. Peacefulness, remoteness, spotlessly clean room, very efficient A//C, light comfy lounge area. The swimming pool was much appreciated, as was the poolside bar (weekends) and the delicious food from the Oromana restaurant - open Monday - Saturday evenings and weekend lunchtimes. But... what makes this hotel exceptional is it's staff. Waiting staff, housekeeping, behind the scenes staff we never met, and reception staff were polite and professional. Reception staff in particular were helpful, organising taxis, restaurant bookings and drinks durung the day when the bar wasn't manned. All the reception staff worked very hard, and went above and beyond to fulfil our requests. But one gentleman stood out. Thankyou Fran for taking time to make us feel extra special - always a smile, handshake, advice on festivals we may enjoy another year and he produced an iron and extra coat hangers in a flash. He made us feel we were friends as well as guests. Thank you Fran, for your genuine wishes that we had a good stay at The Oromana.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Firstly, they advertise that there is a pool that you can use. While this is true that they have a pool, they did not open it until well after we travelled there. We were there for the week of May 19. Every other hotel we stayed at had an outdoor pool that was open and operable - this hotel z that we paid extra for, did not. We were extremely upset about that. The hotel was also extremely far from the town it was located in. It was a LONG walk to get to any civilization. There was nothing around!
When we booked it said we would have breakfast included. That was a lie. We had to pay for it, and it was EXTREMELY overpriced for the worst breakfast i've ever had.
They didnt give us ice when we had our own drinks (every other hotel did), and the rooms were mediocre at best.
We paid way more than we should have for extra amenities that we never got to use. We could have spent $500 less and gotten the same disappointment at a hotel without a pool.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great quiet hotel with nice restaurant

Lovely quiet situation, friendly staff in all areas, really good evening meal, comfy bed, clean bedroom, plentiful hot water. The overall decor is a bit tired, but this should not put you off - a great experience, superb value for money, and great for a one night stopover before catching an early flight from Seville airport, which is just 25 mins away.

This is our favorite hotel! Frank was absolutely amazing. He took care of all of our needs. He mapped out places to eat and see. The staff are fantastic. Rooms are clean, hotel is clean. Solo estuvimos una noche. La recepción correcta, ultimos dias de mayo y la piscina seguia cerrada, en comparacion a otros hoteles que ya estan disponibles fue un chasco ya que hacia calor.. humedades por el baño, da la sensacion de antiguo o descuidado.. la chapa de la puerta antigua, no da seguridad. Es bastante tranquilo, parque de alrededor muy bonito el paseo. El restaurante bien y precios asequibles, la atencion genial.

We booked this property as it was in close distance to Sevilla airport. But, I was pleased to find that it was a lovely hotel situated away from everything. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to visit the surrounding area, but it looked very beautiful. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, especially Amelia on reception, but also the other gentleman who was on reception when we left at 5am.
The room was very comfortable and clean but I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a little fridge, which is always necessary for travellers, however the hotel was very obliging in allowing us to use their fridge in the kitchen.

The property is good size situated besides the park. But it is in the middle of nowhere. We are not in the right season to enjoy outdoor amenities so I can’t tell it is nice or not. However, the outdoor is not in the best condition.

The bedroom is spacious but the shower stall is a joke, 2’ x 2’. It is old and smelly. The toilet handle is broken.

There is no elevator in the property and the staff doesn’t offer any help for luggages. It might be a problem for older guests.

Conveniently situated hotel outside of Seville

The Reception Staff, particularly Julia? and a tall dark-haired guy (whose name I cannot remember) always had a lovely smile on his face. Both were very good and extremely helpful. We were out of season in March so not everything was open. The swimming pool was closed as was the Tapas Bar. The restaurant doesn’t open until 8:30 (until 10:30) for dinner which was a problem for us because we like to eat earlier but we ate out where we happened to be on the day. Rooms were cleaned most days. The hotel itself overlooks the town of Alcala De Guadaira with lovely country walks around it. Very conveniently located for visiting Seville, Cadiz and Cordova but you do need a car! All in all a good stay!

An OK place to put your head down.

This is a hotel that has seen better days. Reminds me more of an Eastern European hotel - a place to put your head down, but no more. But the staff are very helpful and friendly, including the cleaning staff.
It has an over priced restaurant that has a very limited menu. But there's a great Italian restaurant called Giovanni's about two blocks away from the end of driveway entrance. I recall it closes on Tuesday nights, so check opening hours.

The staff was super friendly and professional. The accomodations were great. The room had a King size bed which is rare in most of the hotels in Europe. Only 30 minutes drive to the heart of Seville. Breakfast was included which was also excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone; one of the best hotels I stayed in during my Europen tour in the last 30 days which included London, Paris, Rome, and Athens.

Fabuloso hotel en Alcalá de Guadaíra.

La habitación era enorme y muy cómoda. La ubicación del hotel tiene unas fabulosas vistas al río Guadaíra. Fran de recepción un tipo fabuloso al que le gusta su trabajo y disfruta con él nos explicó lo que podíamos hacer por la zona con pelos y señales. Sólo pasamos una noche porque nos pillaba de paso al regresar con la moto de Marruecos pero volveremos y repetiremos alojamiento. El único pero si es que se puede decir así es que en el desayuno el zumo de naranja no era natural. Puedes dejar la moto o el coche en la puerta del hotel con total tranquilidad.

It is a beautiful spot and the hotel looks pretty on the outside and in the lobby. The rooms have been updated but,still no elevator and no peep hole and old fashioned keys and bathroom had a little mold on the grout. It has one step up into the bathroom so it's something to remember in the middle of the night.Hard small bed. No english on the hotel phone so calling the front desk is difficult. Beware if this is your first night in Spain the police may come to your door in the morning to check passports. Never had this happen in any other hotel in any other country or continent! I thought they were fake and were trying to rob us. They weren't. But they were wearing New York and Jersey black T shirts ? The badge was real. Won't go back.

Good out of town located Hotel for a peaceful nights sleep. Only a few rooms have air-conditioning, so choose a room with a balcony facing the back which has opening doors.
The hotel has seen better days and is in need of inspiration.
Good location for travel onto Seville by local Train as the nearest station I'd twenty minutes away.
Bed very comfortable, room and bathroom very clean.

Charming, traditional hotel ideal for Sevilla

We chose the Oromona hotel as a Base to visit Sevilla, as part of a longer tour by car. Finding the hotel without a Satnav could be a problem, but the location is worth finding. A more traditional hotel in an older building gives it a lot of character and charm. Service is great, demi pension for stays of 3/4 nights is great value. Monteqinto metro station is 20 minutes away and the service is great.

Only issues are parking at weekends and no lift. Hotel are relaxed about double parking if you advise them (this is Spain and the locals are understanding). As for the lift, just ask for a 1st floor room to make it easier. We were on the 3rd floor and it was no issue.

Recommended for accommodation and dinner.

Hotel Oromana: Tranquil, Comfortable Recommend !

It's a lovely hotel, quiet, comfortable and offering friendly service. Hotel Oromana cares about all it does and it shows. It's in great location to be close to Seville without all the cramped city parking and hassles.The hotel is right in the middle of a very pleasant wooded park. Take some time to put a local street into your sat-nav and head for that (Avenida de Portugal ... I think, from memory) and then picj up the yellow hotel signs. Restaurant food is good and very reasonably priced. Two people with some tapas and a couple beers under 20 euros, and the recoommend the breakfasts too !

Good price for a family stay. Located on a beautiful hill with a nice view and trails, and a great playground for kids at walking distance. The staff is friendly and professional. WiFi had some issues the day we arrived but it was fixed the day after.

We stayed on Hotel Oromana during a visit to Seville and wanted a hotel away from the city centre with a bit more space to explore. Easy commute by car into Seville - just as well as we couldn't find any decent eating places in Alcala - possibly because it was out of season. Hotel staff very pleasant; breakfast choices limited but okay; lovely location in the trees with nice walks through the parkland and along the river. Hotel didn't seem busy (apart from one day when there was a party downstairs) but the car park always seemed to be full!

A short get away

The hotel is situated in a lovely surrounding area. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel. A good selection for breakfast. The dining menu was not extensive but first class food. WiFi available in all location's throughout.

This fitted bill perfectly, the room was basic but comfortable and the hotel has a large swimming pool to wile away the hours until we needed to leave. Basic and a little old fashioned, but fits the bill for a transit hotel.

The hotel is 20min drive from Seville, so you need to have a car. It is situated on a very calm Hill up looking Seville. The room we had was big, clean and luminous with 3 windows. The view on the courtyard and the city was beautiful. The facilities (shower, AC, bathroom) were all good except the sink that was a little blocked. There is a pool and a restaurant at the hotel. We ate at the restaurant. It was good, pretty authentic. It wasn't cheap for sure, but not too overpriced. The waiters did not speak very well English, but friendly. The woman at the reception was very helpful in recommending the restaurants and tapas shop and also making reservations for the flamenco show.

This hotel is in a smallish town outside Sevilla and is situated on top of a big hill with a great, huge park on the hillside. The view is pretty great in all directions. The service was great and the tapas restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. The wifi worked pretty well which is good enough since it was free. Free parking as well. We'd stay here again.

Close to Sevilla

Remote location with a great playground nearby - so this would be great for someone with small children. We just needed it for a night along our travels in November. I would imagine in the summer it is quite nice as it had nice shade and is away from the heat of the cities.

L'hotel si trova una posizione molto tranquilla a 30 minuti dal centro di Siviglia e dall'aeroporto (motivo della nostra scelta). Struttura non molto recente. La pulizia della camera e del bagno poteva anche essere migliore. Nella nostra camera (201) il segnale wi-fi non era presente.

Das Hotel liegt recht abgelegen den Berg hinauf – ohne Auto schwer erreichbar, dafür schön ruhig in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und großem Spielplatz. Die Anlage hat eigentlich viel Potenzial, wirkt aber etwas leerstehend und lieblos.

Der Pool ist groß, sauber und schön, aber die Umgebung könnte gepflegter sein: alte Kunstrasen-Teppiche, viele Baumnadeln, verstreute Plastikstühle, keine Sonnenschirme oder Deko – schade, hier würde schon etwas Liebe zum Detail viel ausmachen. Positiv: an der Rezeption gibt es frische Poolhandtücher.

Die Zimmer sind schlicht und in die Jahre gekommen. Aus dem Duschkopf spritzt Wasser aus allen möglichen Richtungen, die Türen der Duschkabine sind wackelig, die Dichtungen alt. Außerdem fehlt es an Dingen, die man eigentlich erwartet – ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich mal eine Klobürste vermissen würde. Und bei den Temperaturen wäre ein Minikühlschrank wirklich hilfreich gewesen.

Das Zimmer ist recht hellhörig, und der klassische Schlüssel mit riesigem Anhänger wirkt genauso altmodisch wie die Einrichtung. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert immerhin gut. Insgesamt fehlt dem Hotel etwas Charme – mit modernerer Ausstattung, mehr Komfort und schönerer Gestaltung ließe sich hier viel herausholen. Für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel ist der Preis (ca. 250 € für 3 Nächte, 2 Erwachsene, ohne Frühstück) in Ordnung, aber das Potenzial bleibt ungenutzt.

Desayuno bien, personal muy agradable. Aparcamiento cerca hay todo el que se quiera. Y lo cierto es que el edificio, tanto por dentro como por fuera, es una verdadera joya anclada en el tiempo. Lo único el baño olía un poco a cañería. Por lo demás fenomenal

Diner is gewoon, niet veel keuze, soms te zoutig.
Kamer 116 rook ferm naar Tabak, maar we kregen vlot een andere kamer.

We stayed for 5 nights at the Hotel Oromana. The room is big. The beds are huge and good and clean, the bathroom sanitair Is clean. It’s a lovely and to me charming hotel, but the property needs to be renovated. Very few personal present. Diner was very sober.

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel. In die Stadt Sevilla mit dem Zug 30 Minuten. Sehr schönes altes Haus mit Charme. Das Personal ist super. Sehr hilfsbereit und versucht sehr gute Tips zu geben. Die Zimmer.... naja, mit Charme halt. Das eine Zimmer hat nach Zigaretten gerochen, da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, war es zu verkraften. Preis-Leistung war sehr gut. Frühstück kann ich nicht bewerten, da wir vorher abgetreist sind. Kein modernes Hotel, aber eines mit Charme. Ich würde es gern weiterempfehlen.

La habitación si que estaba bien y la limpieza buena pero el aire hacia un poco de ruido y el baño se notaba humedad y el techo le vendria bien una mano de pintura. Si se pilla a buen precio y solo para dormir esta aceptable.

Het uiterlijk van het hotel is erg mooi, evenals de omgeving. Veel groen in de buurt in een soort park. Prima ontbijt. Toen wij er waren was er een bruiloft, die nam het personeel compleet in beslag en de muziek ging tot laat door

Das Anwesen liegt ausserhalb der Ortschaft in einem parkartigen Gelände auf der Kuppe eines Hügels. Schöne Aussicht auf den Ort, das Flüsschen und die alte Mühle. Schöne Terrasse, Speisesaal mit Marmorsäulen. Man kann sehr gut und reichlich zu Abend essen. Guter Standort für Tagesausflüge nach Sevilla. Wir waren von dem Flair vergangener Zeiten begeistert.
