This hotel really went over our expectations, it is a beautiful property, the rooms are super spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms are huge with bathtubs just like it shows in the pictures. The staff was extremely helpful and nice they even brought a crib with a toy and a little toiletries for baby since we were with a 6mo old. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again !!!

This hotel was not understanding of the fact that the trains connecting the city were all shut down due to the train accidents that have happened in the past weeks and would not cancel or credit my stay with them. They would also not reply to any of my emails or calls until my reservation was completed in order to charge me the full amount.

The room was cleaned but not refreshed with coffee or water and used bottles were not removed. There was no breakfast on the room service menu and the only option was the buffet so if you wanted a croissant and coffee…..not available before 9AM except if you ordered the full buffet. The coffee shop in the entrance did not open until 9AM. There is very limited sit down food service mid afternoon, not good when coming in from a long flight. The desk staff was helpful and very pleasant.

Bad smell in the bathroom, wi-fi with poor reception, problem with the air conditioning.Regarding the complaint at the hotel reception, since there was no solution,I filed a written complaint . on the last day , I spoke with the manager to ask for a discount because no solution had been found , and he said he would talk to his boss about it . he said he would contact me via email to give me hi boss decision regarding the discount, but I have not received any communication from the hotel so far.

Rooms and corridors smelt. The lifts looked like they’d been in a war zone. Bathroom fan didn’t work (did report it but nothing happened) which meant all sorts of creatures would appear. The shower outlet was black - totally disgusting. Every evening dogs from flats next to the hotel would bark so you couldn’t sleep. Whole electronic check in and check out process was dismal. We checked out manually and then 30 minutes later we received an email telling us we could check out electronically. Codes for menus etc in room did not work. Photos of all of the above can be submitted as evidence.

The location of the hotel is great. The amenities are also great there is everything you need and more.
The straight access to the hotel lobby from the underground parking is amazing.
There is also a taxi station right in front of the hotel which is very handy too.

Run down hotel and food poisoning

Rundown hotel and food poisoning. This is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe in the 1980s when it was built but now it is rundown and needs major remodeling. My family member had sangria and a hamburger at the pool bar and after a few hours began vomiting and having diarrhea for hours. It was her only meal that day so we know it is the hotel's fault. Broken elevators on lobby and first floors. Broken outlets in room. Broken closet door that allows you to see into toilet. Loud sound from bathroom all night. Sound persisted with A/C turned off. Could not sleep due to heat and loud sound. We were moved to a new room that had ants and the shower didnt drain. It tooks hours and several phone calls to switch rooms. They LIED to me saying the hotel is sold out when I saw on their website rooms are available.

The only great thing about the hotel is that it’s walking distance to Plaza España. The hotel itself is in poor condition. The lobby is nice but the floors and rooms are very poor. They definitely need to renovate the hotel. The pool area and food at the restaurant was very good.

Nice hotel, brilliantly positioned in Seville

Staff friendly, hotel a bit tired, rooms comfy, pool excellent (although they do need to address the number of sunbeds \"reserved\" with towels that no-one uses for 1hour+). Really well positioned for exploring Seville. Parking was unavailable when we were there so parked 5 mins away in Parking San Bernardo which turned out cheaper anyway. There is a great tapas bar just up the street (Royalti) and a cafe bar almost next door for breakfast (Casa Ruis) where all the locals go, so you know its good

I don’t believe that the images of the property live up to how it actually is in person which was unfortunate.

I walked away from my table at the pool bar after waiting for over an hour to be served food, when it finally arrived, the meat was undercooked.

I woke up to a dripping sound early in the morning, it progressively got worse until I realized water was pouring through the ceiling in the hallway and the floor was soaked and smelly.

The rooms are okay, noise carries very far. The bathrooms need work, it felt like the shower floor was going to cave in.

Overall it’s an okay hotel but lower your expectations based on the marketing photos. It was clean for the most part. The location is fantastic for access to Plaza de España, not so good for access to restaurants or the Real Alcázar.

El hotel esta en reformas y no se informo los detalles.. en el momento de la reserva. Sus ascensores estan en mantenimiento, por tanto hay q esperar bastante a que lleguen. Su parqueo cerrado, tambien debido a la reforma...tuvimos que aparcar en el hotel Giralda pagar 22 euros la noche y caminar con nuestras maletas ....Reservamos este hotel por su cercania a Plaza España y por ser de la cadena Melia...pero la verdad, no merecio la pena. Pagamos el desayuno...tampoco lo recomiendo, no estaba mal, pero muy caro, Frente al hotel se encuentra la taberna Marmol, donde tienen una cocina de 10 y opciones mucho mas accesibles. Nos toco una habitacion en el piso 6, la habitacion como tal si estaba limpia..las alfombras del piso 6 en general, viejisimas. De esta experiencia destaco su personal amable.

The gym needs more equipment and some attention.
Also, beware. While the hotel indicates that parking is available, they do not cover the parking. It is a bad mis-direction.
Otherwise, the hotel, while tired, is quiet and the staff is quite good.

Drinks and food were good, some staff friendlier than others. Rooms were cozy and clean. Location ideal for walking to local sights. Only issue parking on site is not included. Hotel should consider including parking voucher.

The hotel room was hot as hell. We stayed up all night the first night and the hotel refused to change our rooms. The next day I picked up my stuff and left although we were booked for 2 days. There was no iron or iron board in the room and the hair dryer that was there wouldn’t work as well. Overall terrible experience despite all the positive reviews that I Saw before booking it and I will never go back again. They didn’t even offer to reimburse back one night of stay for this terrible experience

An excellent base to explore the city

Hotel is very cool and calm with great air con which is so nice when it’s 40+ degrees outside! All staff were lovely and arrangements for your last day were great with a complementary shower room bookable for 30mins.
Breakfast was great with nice setting and good choice, my only improvement would be better coffee.

Bedroom was well set up and a good size. There’s no kettle as standard but you can ask for one. The cleaning service was excellent and friendly, lots of towel replacements etc.
Pool area was lovely - a great, relaxed vibe with adults and families together and a nice bar.
Location is also very good: very near Plaza de España, hop on hop off bus stop and a short walk to cathedral and Real Alcázar.

I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

A bright, modern hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, spacious bar and reception area, beautiful swimming pool with cafe bar and an excellent breakfast selection is served in a choice of inside or outside dining areas.
The hotel is located in a quiet, residential district, a short drive from the airport and a 20 minute walk to the old town. There are several excellent restaurants next to the hotel and the Sevilla stadium is around 20 minutes walk away.
The hotel is also conveniently located for public transport.
We stayed here for a short city break and would definitely stay again.

4 day Seville trip

Such a lovely big, clean and modern hotel with walking distance to a lot of places! Views from the pool are amazing. Breakfast was really good loads of options & the pool bar / restaurant was good too. Only downside is there isn’t enough sun beds for the amount of guests especially when it was busy over the weekend so you have to make sure you get your towels at 11! Apart from that amazing hotel will stay again when visiting Seville :)

Booked a terrace room. Waste of money as unlike the photos it was North facing. Had to ask three times and also complain to Expedia before sun loungers sent late on our second day. No view. and one of the staff very patronising when we asked and told us we hadn't paid enough for our room to have loungers. It was the only negative about our stay but quite annoying!
Breakfast excellent value for €10 each. Good coffee and lots of hot and cold options. 20 min walk to old town. Nice parks and local bars nearby. Taxi rank outside too.

This was such a well-maintained modern well air conditioned hotel. The pool and the bar are open and in good shape. It's really hot in Saville so it's important that the pool is working. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The only bad thing is the gym. If you have to work out, just be aware that there are only a handful of machines and weights there.

The hotel was close to the market/center area, and historical sights like Royal Alcázar and Plaza de Espana. The building is beautiful and the pool area clean. It is under renovation, however it doesn't take away from the overall experience. Staff was very considerate and obliged me with being a lounger chair since or room didn't have it. Only thing that was off was the toilet being so close to the tub. We are tall girlies so our knees wouldn't allow us to be comfortable. Other than that i enjoyed my stay.

The hotel, rooms and facilities were excellent. However, in the heat of Sevilla in June the walk to the old town and nearby metro and tram stations turned out to be more inconvenient than I expected. While I very much enjoyed my stay it was quite expensive for what it was.

Honestly this was one of the best hotels I stayed in. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable, spacious. I loved it so much I am looking into staying at their properties in other locations. It was so close to the Plaza de España and Maria Luisa park! And the Ubers were cheap and convenient to anywhere else I wanted to go- highly recommend. Also I ate the room service one night when I was too tired to go back out and it was delicious!
