Food was truly delicious, staff were attentive and location is ideal. Annex rooms are a little jaded, but very cosy and clean. Price is competitive for the area, and sits somewhere between the budget B+B and the full Spa experience, as you would expect.

The property is just fine. Rooms good, good price and food delicious. The service was slow, unpleasant and not accommodating particularly the bartender who has a sour disposition and a sour puss. In the service industry you should have a baseline of a pleasant personality, not here though…

The room we had 'Lomand' was incredible and the four poster bed of my dreams. The claw bath was also a highlight and the room was clean and bright. The lounge with an open fireplace was great for having a drink before dinner and the dinner and breakfast we had was delicious! A beautiful walk around Luss in the morning and to the Loch.
A 5 star property we couldnt fault. Our only regret was that we didnt spend another night. Thanks for the goodies during our stay. We will be recomending to friends and family at home.

Lovely hotel and pub. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and it was wonderful to sit and have a drink by the open fire. The bar is 24hours for residents and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Loch Lomond Arms was a beautiful property near the lake. Our room was beautiful and cozy, like something out of a novel (save for some stains on the bathroom curtain). The small town was lovely and safe, with an easy stroll down the street to the lake and a pier. However, a shower curtain and fan for the bathtub/shower would be really appreciated for those of us who take showers, and help prevent the bathroom from getting to moist.

They didn’t pickup the phone . Didn’t return calls after leaving voice message and when they did pickup . Promised it was all good and a new booking was sorted then 2 days later took my money and didn’t swap booking and hotels.com where just as useless at sorting . No room no refund just money taken for nothing

A lovely hotel in a beautiful village. Everything was top shelf except the service. When I checked in, the girl at the front desk did not smile or make eye contact. Make me feel like I was bothering her. Showed me to my room and not once did I see a smile. Later in the evening, I went to have a drink. The only bar is in the dining room, but you cannot sit in there only for a drink. You must take your drink into the library. That is fine but the bartender did not smile or engage at all. In fact, he told me if I wanted another drink, I should stand at the doorway to the restaurant until someone spoke to me. I met a lovely couple in the library from England and he had no problems going into the bar to order a drink. At one point, the manager was behind the bar. Again, no smiles or welcoming behavior. This was my last stop in Scotland and the one to which I was most looking forward. I was quite disappointed as everyone else that I had encountered during my week in Scotland had been warm and welcoming. Again, the hotel and town are lovely.

This hotel was very expensive for what it was. The room itself was alright, but we thought the bathroom was basic and a bit tired and worst of all, it only had a hand-held shower over the bath. After a day of driving, all we wanted was a long, hot shower. We asked to swap rooms, but no other rooms were available. We feel, by modern standards, that we should be able to expect a shower in a hotel room of this price point. However, the staff were pleasant and the meal in the bar was very nice and a reasonable price, so all was not lost.

Slightly disappointed
The service provided by the staff was friendly and efficient. I was expecting a more luxurious and more comfortable room for £245 per night. The food in the restaurant was lovely if a little on the pricey side considering that we were essentially eating in the bar area. I didn’t complain during our stay as we were there for a special occasion and I didn’t want to detract from this.

Hotel is very nice, felt it was a little over priced for what it was but I guess that’s because it’s within the NationalPark. Accommodation was good but new pillows were needed. Our evening meal was a disaster service wise. The table hadn’t been cleaned when it was reset, it was sticky with glass rings. The meet & greet waitress gave us our menus & then disappeared without even taking a drinks order. 25 mins later she returned having been stood behind the bar chatting with the young waiter. Even our drinks order at that stage were delayed whilst she prepared drinks for others who had come in after us. Food was excellent & served quickly once our order was taken. Final straw was my cup for my after meal tea was covered in lipstick. The waitress did apologise at the end of the evening bu during our time there we found her very off hand about the lack of service. I should add that they were not especially busy and as I said there was a lot of standing around by the waiting staff.

Quite quirky hotel which added to the essence of the hotel. Room was compact but had great view down the village. Wonderfully huge comfortable bed. Spacious en-suite.

It was not made clear that some rooms only had baths and despite being advertised as a luxury hotel it is more of an inn with rooms. The location enables them to charge high rates and not worry about reviews. Cooked breakfast was fine but continental was limited in choice. Staff friendly especially the guy at breakfast.

Such a beautiful quaint hotel. The service was amazing sp friendly especially our waiter at breakfast. Dinner was lovely and we had drinks in the beautiful lounge area in front of the open fire.
We stayed in the Murray suite and although the room was small it had lovely decor was very clean and had a amazing comfy bed. All in all a great find we will definitely be back. Only slightly negative comment is the front door could do with some paint but its just after the winter so I sure it will be done soon.

Very disappointing ...... the depictions on the web site do nor reflect the actuality onf this hotel ...... rooms very good, beds comfortable, ...... public spaces especially the bar a bit like a \"working mens club ....... hard bench seats with mediocre cushions ...... very uncomfortable if sat for even a short period of time ..... food was somewhat mixed, .... haggis was great other than that ordinary ........ no white bread for toast at brekfast a fairly basic ommission ....... the websitte illistrates comfort to relax sadly this was far from the actual, ....... Luss is a busy day visitor location and the hotel probaly caters for the day trade rather than residential customers which is disappointing after the impressive web site descriptions and the expensive rates charged ........ staff were generally helpful with the exception of one experience in the bar come restaurant!! ........ Luss is a fabulous village to visit however we felt the hotel texperience detracted from the overall experience

Great location but uncomfortably hot
Arrived for a 2 night mid week stay. Reception and check in went smoothly and we were showed to our room. We were informed that due to the current restrictions we would not receive a housekeeping room tidy and refresh after our 1st night, which was not unreasonable under the circumstances and did not matter. The 1st thing we noticed was the height of the very old bed. A modern mattress had been placed on top of the old bed frame with presumably uncomfortable original mattress. Whilst this meant the bed was comfortable, it also meant that it was rather high and might be a problem for some people and quite a height if you fall out of bed. The room was small but incredibly hot. We turned the radiator off and opened the window but it remained hot throughout the night. We also had to ask for additional pillows as the ones provided were very flat and soft. The member of staff obtained these immediately so not a problem. Having an uncomfortably hot night, the next morning we requested a change of duvet to a lighter weight one. This was attended to whilst we were out exploring the area and actually the whole room was refreshed.
The breakfast was freshly cooked both mornings and was very tasty. The hotel was quiet and obviously working within the guidelines so it lacked atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area, but felt safe This is an old hotel with quirky areas and an assortment of furniture which adds character and is in keeping with the location.
