Very comfortable hotel, with rooms facing the Loch, and watching the sunrise from the room is pretty special. The village of Luss is also a great attraction and really friendly with hiking trails and great dining options.

Glass topped tables meant my plate was sliding about as I cut through my steak, I would have expected a tablecloth at a high class restaurant. The bottle of wine I had was nice enough but not what I had ordered. Breakfast was nice, however our table was cleared as we went to get some tea, this left me feeling cost cutting and being rushed was more important than guest comfort. Score 7.5 out of 10.

Room was advertised as having a loch view (in Munro block) - the view was overwhelmingly of a car park. When I mentioned this in passing to reception staff, I was given a frosty and obviously well-rehearsed sales pitch for more expensive suites in another block. If a nice view is important to you, get other accommodation. The room was very good and excellently presented. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. Don't bother with breakfast, ours was very poor, in contrast to dinner which was more expensive than it ought to have been, but good.

Brilliant hotel. Very professional,friendly and helpful, from the initial contact with the reception staff, restaurant servers right to the housekeeping and the handyman.Food quality was absolutely lovely and all locally sourced, from the steaks, fish and even the local bakery. The room was very clean, large and comfortable, with a spotless balcony and a wonderful view. I'm very picky but found no problem with any of the above.
One small point arose on our stay, the fire alarm test was on the Tuesday at 1.10pm. Might be a good idea to tell the residents that, just in case some are having an after lunch \"siesta\". Apart from that loved it

The hotel room was lovely, we had a balcony over looking the loch, the room was equipped with a nespresso so it was nice to sit with a coffe overlooking views.

The shower is very user unfriendly. We shared a balcony with next door who happens to be quarrelling very loudly till very late into the night. Breakfast was mediocre, it feels like a hotel for group tour but I guess there aren’t many choices for hotel in this village.

I really enjoyed the trip the only thing that was disappointing was the cost of the spa facilities and the fact there is no pool now. I have stayed here awhile ago hence why I went back to find out. It’s £20 per person each to now use the sauna & steam room. I think the rooms are expensive enough without a charge on top of it to use the spa facilities.

I was genuinely devastated to leave and think this is one of the best ‘staycation’ offerings in Scotland.
Great views, great price, great spa, great room (52), great for dogs, great restaurant.
My only, very minor comment would be that I requested 1130 check out as the spa is only open 1000-1800 (check in 1500, check out 1100). The only space was the morning of check out at 1000. This was honoured without fee but my key stopped working so we had to run across to reception as the spa and some rooms are in another building. The key could have been extended for the 30 mins extra. However, this also highlights the good security and key/access management.
The restaurant for dinner was exceptional! I will be thinking about the pumpkin cheesecake for a long time. Remember to make reservations in advance as the restaurant is understandably busy.
Very much looking forward to returning to try out the Travis tiki bar and to return for the spa/views/cheesecake.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, rooms are amazing and bed extremely comfortable. Views across the loch are simply stunning and we excitedly woke up to the most amazing sunrise. Beautiful balcony to sit and relax too. Staff are very friendly and attentive, can’t do enough for you which was really nice. We enjoyed our stay so much it might just become an annual visit. Amber Rose spa is lovely and we enjoyed a massage and thermal spa experience. Food was delicious and breakfast was great with lots of choice. Really wonderful hotel with evidently a lot of thought put into what guests are looking for. Short walk into Luss village with some lovely shops. We would very much recommend this hotel for a getaway, just wish we could have stayed longer. Enjoy

First with the good... views of the loch and mountains beyond are out of this world and worth staying there for that reason only. In fact Im sure thats what people do as I cannot understand a 4* assignment. I would rate 2* max. Reception was cordial but not friendly, that was throughout my stay (apart from cleaning staff who were really amazing). Having said that the hotel is badly in need of refurb. Beds were ok, carpets dirty especially in the corridors where it seems there was an overlay of previous carpet. When you walk on that it is bouncy and unsteady. Serious scoff marks on all walls in the corridor (nasty). Bathroom floor grout was badly damaged and around the toilet there was a stink of pee. This is all a big shame as this hotel has so much potential ! I guess the view is worth everything.

Beautiful view on the loch from our room. It was so nice to sit by the lounge fireplace after being out all day. Breakfast was a combination of off the menu and buffet. The food was good and there was lots of choices including vegetarian options.

The executive double room we booked was spotless, very spacious and well equipped. The balcony was a nice place to sit. Just a shame the weather didn’t cooperate.
We had dinner at Colquhouns restaurant and the food was spectacular. Everything cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

Pictures online showed a pool which the hotel no longer has. We had a small child which we picked the hotel based on this for. The view from the balcony was lovely but the bathroom had a musty smell and the restaurant could use some improvements.

Lovely hotel and facilities, the view of the loch is spectacular and peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable, the only minor negative is the extractor fan didn’t work in the toilet and there was no window.

We loved this resort! The Spa with a view of the Loch right from the Sauna made us choose the resort and it was lovely! The restaurant is also exceptional with great dinner and breakfast. We also enjoyed Scotch whisky at the fireplace. The staff were nice and pleasant. This is a walking distance from the Luss village. We also took a paddling tour of the Loch. This place is wonderful.

On arrival found the receptionist cold and basic I room broken chair on balcony beautiful views , was a bit put off by the dogs in the restaurant I’m fully aware this is dog friendly but as a dog owner myself I don’t want to be listen to dogs bark at each other all through my meal . Breakfast was terrible basic buffet had to wait in a queue for a cup of coffee with my cup ! While my already cold breakfast got colder what happened Tuesday to be a pleasure to stay

Overall a good hotel in a lovely location. It was easy to get to by car from Glasgow Airport, and had plenty of parking. The front of house staff were pleasant and professional, although not overly welcoming or friendly. Restaurant and bar staff however were more engaging with customers.
Food and drinks were good, and of high standard, with a reasonable choice if staying for a few days. The surrounding area is beautiful, although as we were visiting out of season, a number of the attractions were closed. The hotel has invested in a new spa facility, although one main criticism is that there is an additional charge for hotel residents to use it - considering the cost of the accommodation, and additional spend you're likely to make at the venue, the additional hourly rate expected to use the regular spa facilities seemed excessive and not necessary. The room we had was fine, with a good view over the Loch, although was in need of refurbishment. Indeed while we visited, the builders were refurbing rooms on our floor (without causing disruption to guests, I should add). Overall a good venue, although could make a few adjustments to improve and meet expectations for a property of this cost.

The hotel has invested in a new spa facility, although one main criticism is that there is an additional charge for hotel residents to use it - considering the cost of the accommodation, and additional spend you're likely to make at the venue, the additional hourly rate expected to use the regular spa facilities seemed excessive and not necessary. The room we had was fine, with a good view over the Loch, although was in need of refurbishment. Indeed while we visited, the builders were refurbing rooms on our floor (without causing disruption to guests, I should add). Overall a good venue, although could make a few adjustments to improve and meet expectations for a property of this cost.

Room Lovely, dressing gowns were so rough they could stand up themselves. We had an error code on our heater, called reception got a call bk to say night porter would come, still waiting. Really good location. The staff is super friendly. Our room is amazing with one of the best views of the Lake, even there is a Sauna in the room. Absolutely love it. We dined in the hotel restaurant, the food is great.

We reached at 2.15 and room is not ready, but told us guaranteed 3pm check in so we hang around the hotel vicinity. Room is nice and spacious with wood interior (lodge feel), facing Loch Lomond, Bed is big and comfortable too! And a point to note is that there is no elevator for your luggage (if any).

I was a little alarmed at check out to be charged £75 for our dog for the 3 days. I have since checked policy and this is correct but I feel this very expensive. I understand that some animals do make a mess that requires additional cleaning but this should be considered on an individual basis. Our dog spent the majority of the time outside or in the car!

Beautiful location - right on Loch Lomond and an easy walk to the little town of Luss.
Excellent pool available. Signs were not clear, making the place not as user friendly as it should be. Room locations were listed by names, which didn't correlate with the numbers in the elevator in the building where we were located. There was no sign to the pool. Getting on wifi was confusing, so we ended up paying for 2 days when it should have been free. The hotel said they couldn't refund the money, although I'm sure that many new users had the same problem we did, since there was a definite lack of clarity on how to connect to wifi. Shower/bath area had no door, giving guests no privacy when they are using that room.
