The room smelled like cigarettes and the AC unit didnt work. It was hot and dark in the room. The screens to the windows were broken and the room could have been easily assessible since we were on the first floor. Checked out immediately.

very clean. our only problem was the lack of options for TV channels, which I complained about before. Turns out I wasn't accessing the entire channel menu. If you type '10-1' you see about 20 channels in the Guide, most not very good. if you type '30-1' you a few dozen more in the Guide.

The room was great and housekeeping was amazing and spotless pickup of my room. TV is a little inconvenient, getting to a specific channel is not available, you have to scroll through every channel, to get to the channel guides and the scroll to each individual channel you cannot go directly to the channel you want. Breakfast was ok, under cooked eggs, overcooked sausage, worst coffee I've ever had a hotel breakfast bar, orange juice was not good, and the cook was upset that I asked if we could have a news channel rather than the SIFI channel movie he was watching. But I never expect much at the breakfast of a hotel. Management was fantastic and very polite at every interaction (which was just in passing saying hello and thank you)

First room we got, ashes and hand prints all over desk and tv stand, cover sheet to bed had stains and used toilet paper roll? Second room WAY better, until we opened the fridge- MOLD. The lady receptionist was very nice. Hallways wreaked of weed. Not just the first day but this carried on the following day as well. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and links, good enough to fill your stomach. Waffles stayed raw in the middle no matter how long you kept them in the iron. The guy night receptionist appears to live there with his wife and daughter. He wasn’t the most pleasant. Keys would work then stop working. Had to go to the desk SEVERAL times to get them rescanned in. At one point was told there would be a $50 charge if this kept happening. We weren’t losing the keys- we were bringing them back because they didn’t work. The pool room is freezing. Half of the lights are burned out and the heat lamps don’t work. It is so dark and cold in there. There’s two gambling machines in the waiting room- take that however you’d like. I have no clue how this place has this high of a rating. I will say, beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the price per night is low. I’ll skip this place next time though.

Hotel is showing its age. Staff was friendly. The only real complaint I have is because they allow dogs, we woke up at 5:30am to a dog barking.
Clean place to stay for 1 night, I would not stay there for a destination weekend.

I always have good stays here, but on my last visit my room had what looked like a hopelessly broken shower bracket. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk and left for dinner. When I returned an hour later, they already had it back in working condition!

Not enough sound insulation between the first and second floors- a late 3am arrival the floor above us woke 2 of 3 people in our room. Heating unit would squeal the first minute everytime it turned on- about every 20 minutes all night long.

Middle of the road

Pros: comfortable mattress, thin and thick blankets available, and they have waffle makers.

Cons: no elevator (2 levels) which you might need if you have a lot of things or limited mobility, my key card had to get reprogrammed twice, cheap toilet seat, walls and carpet not in pristine condition.

The cons are why the hotel was on the less expensive side for one of its rating.

Room not very clean, carpet disgusting

The carpet was disgusting, sticky and slimy in between the beds. Everything is outdated and old, not cleaned very well as we found old candy under the desk and in the corner chair. There is no elevator, which wasn’t an issue with us as we were just staying one night and lacked light, but I was surprised by that fact.

Property is Run-Down

Sorry to say, but this property is run-down and nowhere near an 8.6 rating (which was what was reported when I booked). Maybe a 5.0 at best. The handle fell off when turning on the water for a shower. Big stain on the rug and it felt grimy to walk on. Bathroom floor has weird no-slip surface. Bathroom was small & the setup of room was weird with sink across from the bathroom. Room was dark and dingy.

There is no elevator and you need to carry everything up the stairs if placed on the second floor. The pool area was run-down with what looks like mold on the wooden ceiling. The photo looks like it was from many years ago. The breakfast was nothing special, though they had some hot items. They still use styrofoam plates and cups.

Positives: The staff was kind and friendly, though they were usually not at the desk, and sometimes needed to be called to appear. The bed was comfortable. They have modern controls for the A/C. The types of items at the breakfast were OK, just not a lot of selection and the ambience was not good.

We were there for 3 nights. We asked (politely) the EXTREMELY RUDE front desk attendant woman (dressed in animal print) for room service for our second night. She looked at me like I was insane. Our sheets were NOT changed, etc. We had to get our own fresh towels. The exercise \"facility\" needs updating and made to be cooler. The plus for this property are the fresh water and coffee in the lobby, however. Bryan is nice in the breakfast room.
