The good: The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was mediocre but we expected that from the photos. We arrived several hours before check-in and as we were just staying to catch an early morning flight the next day, didn’t have other plans. They let us use the pool and stored our luggage until check-in.

The bad: It is close to the airport and the planes landing are very loud. There is also lots of noise from the road and other rooms. Could have been timing (Spring Break) but other residents had people in and out all night partying and we had several knocks on both the door and window throughout the night. They did not have additional pillows, the mattress felt worn in and past its lifespan, and luggage storage is in an unsecured snack/toiletry store off the reception area. We nicked named it the “La Can’t Sleep.” Consider this a motel when comparing accommodations. Overall in my top 3 worst nights stay at a hotel.

Room was clean but furniture needs update. Left standing at airport shuttle bus drove past twice without stopping. Waited over 1 and half hours, ended up paying for a taxi. Out side room was a ice machine the noise was terrible through the night. Very noisy from main road trafic. Breakfast very poor very overcrowded. Some cereal bread and pastries. No coffee or tea after breakfast which is cleared very promptly at 9am.

Better breakfast than a horrible LaQuinta in Albuquerque and the accommodations were very nice. But the 'call us for airport pickup' is lacking. We waited nearly an hour for your 'service' and other hotels had come by 3-4 times while we waited. Will choose another place next time.

The room was in fair condition. The ceiling paint was peeling as well as the bathroom. No exhaust fans .

Situated right in the middle of McDonalds and Wendy’s . The parking lots open on both sides so it was a busy place all night. Very close to the airport. Planes coming in at all hours so not a place where you get much sleep

No fridge or microwave. Have to go to lobby to use microwave. You can hear people outside pulling luggage and every time the close a door in next room or the door coming in and out. The doors are heavy and hard to close. The doors make alot of noise. Nice worker has a bob and a little older. I didn’t get her name. There is a Wendy’s next door and Dennys next door as well. That was a plus.

Room 157 shower water pressure so high the whole bathroom is wet when done. Rust in tub…shower head dirty. Room is humid heat works when it wants to have to keep turning it up. I called 3 times for shuttle bus. The rep said he would come at 9pm it’s every hour on a hour. Called back left message called again 9:40 different worker said shuttle is not coming. He don’t come after 9. Get to hotel shuttle bus is there. Next morning talk to a rep nothing was done, but shuttle was supposed to come out at 9pm that’s the last pick up is what I was told.

The property was in a poor condition and unsafe. Homeless people were everywhere and soliciting people for drugs and money. The noise from morning to night with people drinking alcohol in the parking lot. Cleaners were moving their noisy carts early as 6:30 am from rooms to rooms and making tremendous noise. It was the worst and horrible experience that we have EVER encountered!!! Steered AWAY from this property PLEASE! Unsafe and disgusting!

It is a filthy hotel in a bad part of miami. I did not feel safe there. There was mold in the room and the ceiling was wet and looked like it was about to fall apart. I would not recommend staying here.

Rooms was terrible those pictures is not how the look it was mold in the bathroom it was dirty towels hanging up the bed cover was dirty spelled like mildew when turn the air. You literally have to slam the door to your room housekeeping don’t knock they just come right in. I’m not suffering breathing problems.

There are no timrs listed on their site for free shuttle and free breakfast, you find out when you arive. If our flight wasn't pished off 2hrs, we'd have to Uber it and breakfast wasnt available until later in the morning.
The rooms are VERY old and outdated.

24x7 shuttle bus is not true. We called at 9:30pm and someone at the front desk told us no shuttle bus after 9pm. We used Uber instead. Online shows fitness room but once call, we were told no fitness room. Other than that, the staff and breakfast were good.

Its a motel not a hotel very dirty old broken beds flat old pillows my toilet had old dried up urine on it had to call house keeping to clean the room soon as a arrived. And the mold smell had me coughing the whole time. Then when you call to speak to someone about these problems to see if youll be accommodated they tell you to call Travelocity because you booked through them but they are really the ones taking your money off the card so it is them who you need to speak with. The supervisor was rude telling me it was wierd that after i stayed im complaining and nothing was documented like i was lying and told me i would not receive a refund of no sort! I paid for a room with two beds only really had 1 because the other 1 was broke had my back hurting so bad when i woke up and they only serve bread and cold eggs and cereal for breakfast o and coffee and juice. I stayed at la quinta in other states and i never experienced this! It ruined my trip and they expected me to call the front desk to keep complaining all day. Everytime i called i was told to call Travelocity or wait for a supervisor (that was never available) so the 3 days passed and now i have time so here we are! This is a trashy MOTEL if thats what you are use to be my guest but i will never stay here with my baby again im surprised we didnt have bedbugs!

The rooms were not very clean. In fact, they had a very moldy smell and was not cleaned very well. This property is more on line with a motel and the description was not accurate at all. I would never choose to stay at this property again. Well the staff was friendly, where you sleep is of utmost importance and this place failed. Breakfast was continental bread and cereal. Expedia, should do a better job with making sure property and description match. Needless to say, i was extremely disappointed

Property is clean but dated. Air conditioning worked poorly, set at 60 degrees but room was 79 at best. Breakfast should be stated as continental as eggs were just boiled. No hot breakfast. The website should also state that the charge is $50 extra if you want early check in, but not guaranteed.

We've stayed at other La Quinta Inns, but this one didn't meet our expectations. The rooms with king-size beds are comfortable, but they aren't updated or remodeled. The building as a whole needs updating with renovations. The lobby and breakfast areas are very small when the hotel is full, which is what happened to us. The breakfast, compared to other La Quinta Inns, doesn't have much variety. However, the staff was very friendly and professional. Another plus is that there are restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, it wasn't our best experience. We stayed two nights: first when we arrived in Miami, and then one more night when we returned from a cruise. The price wasn't the cheapest, but it was reasonable for its location.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom, the bathtub was corroded, and if I had had a cut on the piano, I could have bathed there because of the corrosion and the risk of infection. There wasn't dust everywhere. It's clear the door was forced open before, which makes it seem unsafe. The elevators are also in pretty bad shape. It looks like they haven't been maintained.

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to Miami International Airport, but the experience was very disappointing. I was told there was an airport shuttle, waited at the airport for quite some time, and eventually had to call the hotel only to be told there was no shuttle and that I should take an Uber.

When I arrived, my room was located in the very back of the property and required walking outside through a dark area, which did not feel safe. In the morning, there was a roach running around in the bathroom , and one of the chairs in the room was extremely dirty. With two chairs in the room, it would have made more sense to remove the filthy one.

The breakfast had very limited options and was underwhelming. My stay was only about 10 hours, and even that felt too long. Overall, the property felt grimy and poorly maintained. I would not stay here again and hope management addresses these issues for future guests.

Clean room although rust everywhere and a 20 year old tv. The check in staff was wonderful, but after saying that they would charge a $50 hold for incidentals, got a $100 deposit hold. The biggest issue was that there was no water in the shower and when I presented the issue was met with “sorry” and that was it. Let’s just say for being a “standardized” hotel it was giving more of “don’t care , it is what it is” vibes.

I was disappointed because they listed the breakfast as a buffet. It was a continental breakfast with hard boiled eggs. I did not mind, but felt it was not an accurate description. We ended up going out to eat instead since I can't eat grains (muffins/bread/bagels/pancakes), or sugar (yougert, juices, fruit, etc...). Quite a disappointment.

Also- my room was right next to the laundry for the hotel and they do laundry at night. Therefore the dryers were bouncing sheets/towels all night by my headboard of my bed. Sleep was next to impossible.

Was very worn and needed some serious updating. Ran down would be a better way of putting it. Breakfast area way to small for number of guests. Also a very loud area of Miami especially on the weekend. Loud cars racing around that echos bad. Needless to say on a Friday night did not get much sleep. Laundry facilities are aweful too. Lost 7.00 on a washing machine. Would not stay again.

Room was not clean - there were little bugs crawling all over the desk. I had my down Lysol wipes to take care of it. Forbes of room were dusty and dirty. Just felt unfresh and not clean.

Airport shuttle only runs stating at 6am, so if you have a morning flight you are out of luck. Breakfast starts late at 7am, so again if you have a morning flight you are out of luck.

Convenient to have a McDonald’s at walking distance .

Room was not properly cleaned and two steps from the bathroom to the bed had my feet filthy. They were all too happy not to offer any services and made you feel like a bother when assisting you. Not worth it for anything more than a quick stay if no other choices were available.
