We loved our stay! My favorite parts were the delicious breakfast and relaxing on the patio. Sheri clearly puts a lot of thought into accommodating guests' dietary preferences. The area is charming and cozy. Perfect for a walk or run, and conveniently close to everything!
My only suggestion would be to add king-size beds to all rooms. The queen beds were comfortable, but a king bed would be even better for couples.

When we arrived at 5:30 pm we had to ring doorbell and was greeted by remote host who explained all the codes to enter were sent via text. Once we entered we were able to access our room. We also found out at arrival that there was only street parking for up to an hour without a permit. So we had to figure out nearby streets to park overnight after arriving from a long journey. The other option was to pay for a $25 permit.

We’ve stayed here twice now because of how peaceful the property is. The rooms themselves are well styled with most items you may find yourself needing like a steamer or hairdryer. This location is also perfect for being within walking distance of downtown without having to stay downtown where it can be quite noisy.

We had a wonderful stay at Dreamers BnB. We chose the \"run of the house option\" which means we automatically got upgraded to the Romantic Suite for the same price as a smaller room. Our suite was in the bottom floor & had views of the garden all around. The bathroom was huge (almost as big as the main room!) and had lots of plants inside too. The room was nicely decorated & the bed was comfy. The check-in was remote, but the innkeeper responded quickly to questions. You have the option to pay for parking, but we easily found free on-street parking just a half a block down on a perpendicular street. But the real star of the show was the breakfast! It changed daily, but was always delicious! It started with a \"sweet\" platter to share & could range from pancakes to pastries and always included fruit. The 2nd course was individually plated and usually had a form of eggs, meats, plus veggies / potatoes. My husband isn't normally a breakfast person, but he was raving about the food. Just a few streets up from downtown, the location is great & easily walkable. We would definitely stay here again!

I LOVED my stay here. I was in town for a concert, but also wanted to walk around downtown and visit the beach. This was a perfect location. The check-in process was easy and the directions were clear. Additionally, it was easy to get in touch with staff to ask questions. The home was beautiful. I loved my room, it was just what I needed with thoughtful touches and lots of natural sunlight streaming through the windows. The grounds were nice and there was a porch with seating and a hammock. The breakfast was really good - I especially liked the mochi waffle and the scrambled egg with bell pepper. I absolutely want to stay here again when I’m in Wilmington.

I LOVE this place!! I’ve stayed many times over the years, and it’s such a lovely, quiet place to relax and rejuvenate. The property is gorgeous, with an enormous front porch and crazy lush gardens! The owners and staff are so very kind and accommodating. Not only are the rooms a PERFECT retreat, the property is nestled among the most gorgeous historic homes in downtown Wilmington. Walk just a few blocks to the waterfront and all of downtown! Awesome restaurants, coffee shops bars.

Beautiful decor and very unique. Good communication when we were having to travel far and required late check-in. We were surprised there was a very loud dog barking when we arrived - and continued to bark for a while. That was not pleasant. The only other complaint is getting up in the morning and looking forward to breakfast. We weren't greeted at all by staff (the one person). We had to find him and ask him what was what and tell him what we wanted to eat. Another guest was even confused as to where everything was. I had to point things out for him. I like minimal, but it was just a bit too minimal.

I had a wonderful overnight in Wilmington and am happy I chose Dreamers. The quaint little town was walkable, and I loved being surrounded by the staely homes. The owenrs were very kind and accomodating. Breakfast was outstanding and they gave me a parking pass so that I was able to park right in front of the gorgeous building. And the bed- wow! I slept great and will def be back.

The property needs some updates and attention, especially for the rate. We came in to a very hot room. There’s only one vent in the room and lots of windows making it like a greenhouse. Luckily it is fall and so at night opening all the windows works for keeping it cool enough. I adjusted the AC in the hall but it never seemed to cool the room we were in below 80.
A smoke detector battery was low and so the smoke detector was loudly beeping every minute. We alerted the staff as soon as we were in for the night, around 8pm. They told us they couldn’t come out and the host was gone and just to remove it. Luckily my husband was barely tall enough to reach it when standing on a stool in the room. The next day they came to replace it. We got back after a wedding and the smoke detector was beeping again. My husband again had to pull it down and said it had the same battery as before. They didn’t even change the battery. I told the staff and they said they would take care of it. Not one single word of apology for any of it.

A smoke detector battery was low and so the smoke detector was loudly beeping every minute. We alerted the staff as soon as we were in for the night, around 8pm. They told us they couldn’t come out and the host was gone and just to remove it. Luckily my husband was barely tall enough to reach it when standing on a stool in the room. The next day they came to replace it. We got back after a wedding and the smoke detector was beeping again. My husband again had to pull it down and said it had the same battery as before. They didn’t even change the battery. I told the staff and they said they would take care of it. Not one single word of apology for any of it.

This is an hidden gem that I will be back again! We had some unexpected personal issues arise that the staff assisted with sincere support. They did above and beyond with a smile from pre-arrival to the bumps in the road we faced during the stay. The area was beautiful with picturesque street views of the homes in the area. It was like postcard moment as you just took in the surroundings day and night. Thank you for the beautiful experience during a not so beautiful day.

There was also a glass carafe of cool fresh water with 2 stemmed water glasses on a table in front of one of the windows near a comfy reading chair. The bathroom? OMG! Rainfall shower with bear claw tub. Knobs adjusted water flow: tub, shower, or handheld. Can’t forget the Google cast through which you can stream music and the TV “hidden” under a beautiful had crafted throw. There were also short descriptions of accessories and the cost in case I wanted to purchase. All in all, I loved the Dreamer by DW.

This home is beautiful, but my husband and I have some mobility issues and some aspects of the house (uneven floors, no handrail on front steps, high entry into tub, low bed, trip hazards) made it difficult to navigate. Also, the room was not particularly comfortable and would benefit from a second chair. We did enjoy sitting on the large and comfortable front porch watching it rain. We had minimal interaction with staff.

This was a very charming place. The location is fantastic. We were very pleased with the host as well. The one downfall is the tub was not thoroughly clean and the shower was dirty as well. But would definitely go back, if they would make sure those areas are cleaner.

This is a great space. The home dates back to 1889, on a street with homes that date back that far or further. The decor is hippie/chic, it’s welcoming, warm, friendly. The location is awesome, historic downtown Wilmington is yours for the taking. I would highly recommend it and I would stay here again if I can.

Dreamers was such a charming boutique hotel that feels like a traditional B&B with a contemporary twist. From its designer’s decor to its amenities on site, it was a very memorable experience staying there for a short trip. I spend around 100 nights at hotel each year for my work, and the Dreamers really made an impression! It makes me rethink that I should spend more time at boutique properties like this rather than mainline chain.

Loved the uniqueness of the property and the themed rooms. Inside of the hotel feels cozy and welcoming. I checked in after 6 so I had to self check-in and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. They have tea, coffee and water available 24/7. I didn't get to try the breakfast because I had to be at work early but they were nice enough to leave me some overnight oats and a muffin for to-go. They were both delicious! Thanks again for a cozy and comfortable stay!

The inn is beautiful and clean. The staff communicates mainly via text so you don't have any hassles. When you need something simply text the number given to you upon booking and your needs will be taken care of. I was cold the first night so I texted the next day (they texted first to ask if I needed anything) and said it was cold so they gave me permission to change the temperature on the thermostat that was outside my door. This made it perfect! The bed was very soft and the pillows were perfect texture like a cloud. Everything was extremely clean, which is of the upmost importance.
This is not a negative, but something renters should be aware of. When looking for the inn at night, be on the lookout that it is a house, not a typical hotel. The sign is very small and on the front gate so if you arrive at night you may miss the black sign with small white writing.
It is a few blocks from the convention center but in what seems to be a residential area so it is nice and quiet. The vegetation in the garden is beautiful and feels tropical. There is also a hammock outside for relaxing.
