We enjoyed our stay at Angie's BnB. The house was very large and impressive. Our room was cozy and adorable. There was a closet and suitcase rack which were very helpful in staying organized. The decor was adorable and chic, but definitely \"cozy\" as far as size. Angie has different rooms to choose from, so I suggest you speak to her about your needs and she will make sure you get what you expect. Breakfast was amazing! The location is near downtown. While not close enough to walk, it is not far. We found plenty of parking downtown for a fee. Angie gave us advice on what to see and do. We loved our little get-away!

We had such a great time at Angie's B&B. The house and grounds are so cool and really give you historic Wilmington feelings. The room and accomodations are very quaint. We loved sitting on the porch and having breakfast in the dining room. The best part of our stay was getting to interact with Eppy and Mary and everyone else that is what makes this place feel like a home away from home. Before we arrived, Eppy reached out to coordinate our arrival and make sure that someone would be there to greet us the moment we arrived. We were welcomed and given a lovely tour. When we had a small issue figuring out the hot water in our bathroom, three people jumped in to assist us immediately. Angie's Bed and Breakfast really does feel like a home away from home and you will love it!

Cold showers not welcome.
I am sorry to say that we had no hot water for showers during our 2 night stay and the only recompense we were offered was a discount if we came back again, which we are unlikely to do for that reason. The owner of this beautiful old Victorian home didn’t believe us when we told her of the lack of hot water. We took cold showers after waiting 15 minutes to see if the hot water would make its way to the third floor. She came to the room herself to confirm the water wasn’t hot and still never offered us any compensation. On a positive note, breakfasts were generous.

Angie, the owner, is helpful and full of stories about Wilmington. She is a great resource. The property is well maintained and the breakfast will carry you through to lunch. There are a lot of stairs (16) to go up to get to the room so the B&B is not really handicap-accessible.

I really didnt want to get out of bed after staying out late but knowing she was downstairs cooking was motivation enough to get up! The house was really cool and I felt like we stepped back in time! This is a great old home near downtown Wilmington. It was a short drive to the riverfront, and not too far from Wrightsville Beach. The house was well-decorated, and the rooms were comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay at Angie's B&B and felt very comfortable. The B&B is easy to find on Market Street and only a ten minute drive to the River Walk. No loud noises to keep you up. The room was very clean. Had my own private bathroom with a super shower and plenty of hot water. Loved the softness of the sheets. Very cozy sleep in a good bed. Parking is in the back of the house and very safe. Angie made a great breakfast with plenty of hot coffee and fresh fruit. Breakfast is not only served on weekend as Expedia states. Guests had breakfast on Monday and it is served during the week. Please correct that on your site. Lovely house and lovely dining room. Beautiful antiques. Angie is very caring and dotes on her guests. Can't do enough to make your stay a great experience. I will come back over and over as was the saying from other guests. All the yes in every room, but one Rae too small, you cannot watch comfortable from your bed, the most of the beds are a size full, not queen for 2 people who are avg size that is uncomfortably tiny! Dusty bathrooms, the mattresses are too firm and hard on the back! We did not sleep well any nights. We've stayed here several times to give them a chance, because they are so friendly, but very disappointed, will not be going back! There is no place to keep cosmetics in the tiny bathrooms. You only receive one breakfast on sundays. Saturday mornings we had to fend for ourselves. This happened twice!

Historic home bed and breakfast with the charms of a family home. If you are looking to stay in a historic home nestled in the historic district of Wilmington, this is the place. We loved the character of the house and the friendliness of the mother-daughter team who ran the bnb.
Angie the main owner, made sure we were comfortable. Her hospitable spirit was apparent right down to our dietary needs regarding breakfast, which were complete. She did not skimp on the breakfast end.
Most of the rooms do not have individual climate control. Which was no surprise for the age of the home. Additionally the internet Wi-Fi on the upper floors is weak, but we were informed that they were correcting that issue.
The home is situated on a lovely piece of property. Despite being on a busy street the house is very quiet.

We couldn't imagine a better place to celebrate our one year anniversary than our stay at Angies B&B. Angie was warm and welcoming and full of fun stories about her family and the town. She was so entertaining and endearing that it was hard to leave when out stay was over. She is a fantastic cook and goes out of her way to make your stay wonderful. She even brought us champaign and a cheese and crackers tray for us when she found it was our anniversary. She and her family are very nice and we will stay in touch with them because they are one of those families you wished you belonged too.

The only negative would have been that it was very uncomfortable having the only usable entrance to the property right in the middle of the living room where the husband spent much of his time. We felt a bit like we were intruding on their privacy. They were extremely kind, the situation presented was just awkward.
