About WorldMark Clear Lake

With the Bartlett Mountains as a backdrop and a beautiful turn-of-the century, mission-style lodge, this picturesque Spanish-style resort recalls the rural California that Mark Twain found so endearing. All life here centers around Clear Lake, the largest freshwater lake within California's borders and offers great fishing.

The area surrounding the lake begs to be hiked, biked and savored as a lifetime memory. The resort has outdoor pools for adults and children, an outdoor spa, game room, fitness center, pool table, children's play area, a library and a boat dock and launch.

I like the rooms! Bed was very comfortable. I didn’t like the bugs and that there was not really an area for our party to gather around in celebration of a milestone birthday. The fishing was not great in comparison to the other locations we have stayed at however I do like the amenities this resort provides for children.

If you're seeking a quiet and peaceful lakefront getaway, you might be disappointed. Lots of road noise and we wound up leaving a day early because the folks in the room above us keep us awake walking around and playing their TV loudly late at night. The hotel didn't even mention the possibility of refund when we checked out a day early.

Pool facilities are nice but the lake itself was Kermit the frog green.

Overall a big disappointment.

I love coming here but it was under construction and all the construction men's were acting inappropriately and not only that they brought all their family so everything was just completely full of the pools were full the hot tubs were full they were acting inappropriate every time you walk by they would whistle and there was so so many of them with all their family it really ruined our stay and I love it here this is my favorite place to come but the people doing the construction in the parking lot completely ruined it for our vacation not only that there was makeup brushes where our bed was there was gummy bear candies left on the floor in the living room and there was a drop of period blood on the toilet it's really sad because I love it here but with those things that ruin my vacation

WorldMark Clear Lake is the a great destination for the area. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and well stocked with most of what you would need for a multi night stay. The Staff are professional and accommodating; they had my reservation ready; in fact, I received a complimentary upgrade! Why 4 stars? The building I stayed in was quite a distance to the pool area. It wold be nice to have a second pool area for such a large property. Also, Wifi was not complimentary, nor was there any breakfast, but remember, you are renting a time share. Otherwise, wonderful place to stay! The Dock is really nice in both Summer and Winter, especially during Full Moons.

Totally enjoyed our stay! Started with the friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were warm and inviting. This trip was for a family get together and we didn’t have to concern ourselves with the lodging at all. We will not only stay at Worldmark Clearlake but we plan to loom up other locations to visit on the future. Thank you for making everything easy!

I was called 4 hours away from arriving while driving to be told my confirmed room (2 bedrooms) was not available and I was being given a 1 bedroom and a studio to which I agreed. An hour later global operations calls to tell me I'm getting the one bedroom no studio.

Used to go every year for my birthday, but will never go back! First they said they didn’t have our reservation, we showed them the confirmation letter. Then the lady at the desk was making rude remarks to us. After that finally got settled we went fishing and come to find out lady at the desk called inland fisheries on us. I don’t understand why they would do that to us. Even though she was being rude, we were not. My friend that was with us thinks it may have been a racial issue, but I don’t honestly know what their issue was. All I know it was a great place but now we will have to break tradition and go somewhere else.

Wonderful high end feeling at Worldmark in Nice,Ca

The room was almost like an apartment. It was very roomy well equipped kitchen. Everything I needed toiletry wise for a shower very clean. The pillows were wonderful. I ordered a set on Amazon so when I get home from my trip, I will have a set. I slept like a log all three nights I was there. The location is wonderful such a neat little town on clearlake unfortunately it was the last hurrah of the Midge flies..

Trip with grandchildren

The rooms here are apartment style. Our apartment was very spacious. Our grandchildren had their own bedroom and bathroom. We had a lovely king bedroom with bathroom. There was a full kitchen. It was very clean and everything in the kitchen was provided. There was a big balcony with a gas bbq. Each bedroom and the living room had a tv. The pool area is wonderful. A nicely heated pool right by the lake and a big hot tub. There are many things to do here like horseshoes, basketball etc. There is even a fishing pier. Its a lovely hotel. This was our second visit to it. We will definitely return. Our teenage grandchildren really enjoyed the stay too.

Clear Lake area is lovely. The area around the property doesn't offer much in terms of shopping / restaurants. There's a well-appointed grocery store (Mar-Vals) in easy driving distance. Walls were a bit thin, we heard neighbor preparing for an outing & slamming doors from 6-6:30am. Bathroom had shampoo / conditioner / body wash containers and 2 were empty on check in.

Simply the best for miles!

IMHO, Best stay in all of Lake County! I am here on a long work trip. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and motels around the area. This by far was the best! I regret not staying here from the get go!

The place is not your traditional hotel. The place felt like home. The rooms have everything one needs on a work trip; full kitchen, kitchenware, plate, ingredients, etc. it’s basically a a second home.

The staff are very friendly and quick to remedy any problems I had. The place is very clean with a beautiful atmosphere. Views are amazing. It felt like a second home from home. I get to come back from work and totally relax like if I was at my own house.

This is definitely worth the upgrade from any hotels/motels in any given direction. Very family friendly atmosphere.

Love the Clear Lake WorldMark!

Another great stay at the World Mark. The room was clean and comfortable. Hot tub, large and wonderful. We had a problem with a slat falling off of our curtain in front of the sliding glass door but it was fixed quickly by a very capable maintenance man named Dan. He was in and out quickly and we had no further problems.
My only disappointment was I had put in a special request for Bldg F and did not get placed in a room there. There appeared to be some empty rooms in that building but I was content with where we stayed, even though we didn't have as spectacular a view of the lake from Building H. Still, it was quiet and peaceful and we will be back again!

Great place to relax and chill

We booked for a weekend to chill. We knew there were not many businesses, restaurants nearby. Our intention was just relaxing on site at a pool, hot tub, and playing volleyball/basketball. It was a perfect place for us to chill. A hotel staff also put us on a quiet corner unit as there was a large group on site that weekend. It was perfectly quiet at our unit. Also, the unit had a good range of cookware, plates and silverware. If you are not seeking for an action, this is a good place. Also, this is a good place if you like fishing.
