Staff was amazing, rooms were clean and good sized. Location to downtown attractions was great. Had breakfast delivered to the room twice and the first time it was fantastic but the second time wasn’t good at all. I am sure it was different staff or cook. All in all a wonderful stay.

Didn’t try the food but the stay and neighborhood couldn’t be beat. We had excellent service on the phones in regards to setting up our stay( big shout out to Joe at the front desk and Haily working corporate phone center) they really set myself up for a wonderful birthday treat for my wife. I couldn’t thank them enough. The front desk staff and the valet team were excellent as well. Everyone was charming and sincere with every one of our interactions. It was a true treat and a great memory. We will be back again

The hotel is super close and convenient to the Public Market which was a huge plus. It’s just a few steps away from the market and a lot of dining options. We were able to walk to public transport and the ferry easily. The major downside is that the hotel is next to an alley and a sketchy door that had a lot of transient and drug activity. We saw people passed out and actively using drugs which was unsettling especially walking back at night. The room itself was clean and comfortable for 3 nights. The tv remote didn’t work even after being looked at by staff but we didn’t really spend time watching tv so that was ok. Rooftop bar had great views also.

The room was nice. Parking isn't easy, valet only and the punlic parking garage is a couple of blocks away. The front desk was not helpful when I checked in, provided no information about the hotel. The view from the rooftop bar is nice, drinks are good and I would not order the food. We ordered 3 dishes and they were not edible.

Hotel is nice! Very close to Pike Place. I wouldn't suggest walking a certain direction from the hotel, lots of homeless people doing drugs on the street. Not very family friendly area in my opinion.

This is our 2nd time here. Very clean, modern, quiet with a friendly staff. I got up extremely early due to the time difference and there was coffee ready in the lobby so I didn’t have to go out or disturb my husband. The roof top bar offers great cocktails and small bites. Very short walk to Pike’s Place Market. We love this hotel.

Beds were ok, food was ok nothing out of the ordinary. We went up to the Nest to get a drink before going to a concert and there was a 30-45 min wait even though we paid quite a bit of money to stay the night here. Once we got up there we waited in line for another 45 minutes only to have a person come tell us there was no bar tender!? We went back downstairs to get food, they were short staffed and the person/waiter was in a bad attitude, the only kind person was the host! Then they told me the breakfast would be free as a compensation for the hassle of it all and my card ended up getting charged. Truthfully wouldn’t stay here again.

My only issue was the valet parking charge i accrued was $68 per night when i was advised online when booking at the rate is $38 per night which is normal price in the city. The second issue was being told that i could not use tap to pay with apple pay when i checked in but when i checked out there was a restaurant charge and they had no issue allowing to tap to pay at that point. I just feel misled, Also the restaurant can use a little more consistency in staff training as on two different occasions items ordered were forgotten and we had to bring to the Servers attention.

I booked a water view room and they gave me a room that did not have a window at all and they excuse was that the room that I requested has AC issue even though it was early April and we did not need AC. We got there late at night and the only parking they have is a valet parking and the person in charge told me I have 3 minutes to unload because he wants to go home!!!!
I travel a lot domestically and internationally for over 40 years and this was the worse hotel and experience that I ever had.

Be careful about paying extra for a Superior Water View room. They aren't nicer room, and you can't open the blinds. The window was roasting hot and it wasn't even 70 outside. Our room was 76 when we got there and the AC couldn't bring it down. We ended up downgrading and changing rooms. They were VERY Helpful and accommodating though. The manager brought me new keys herself etc. We noticed outside it you looked up, that entire wall of rooms had their blackout blinds pulled. Considering the rooms only have two small reading lamps .. opening the blinds would be necessary. I'm glad we downgraded our room. There is no self parking and valet was $70 a day. So I likely wouldn't stay here again considering everything.

We had an amazing experience. The staff was polite, helpful and very attentive. The valet service was the same - they really made the experience less stressful and went out of their way to assist. We are independent/low maintenance travelers so we didn’t need a whole lot but we were comforted by the fact that if we did need anything the staff would do their best to fulfill our request.

Excellent staff from the valet to the front desk. I forgot something after I had already checked out but they brought it to the front desk for me. Valet stop is very convenient in this busy area. Pike Place market it at the doorstep. Room is nice, bathrobe plush. Pillows are super comfortable.
What I didn't like: (a) all soaps have that horrible smell of patchoulli or some kind of spice that is not neutral nor generally likeable (b) no slippers - the floors aren't comfortable for bare or sock feet. It's not a cheap hotel, so that strikes me as a missed chance to score.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday and the location was wonderful. Close to everything and walkable. Just a block from the water and famous Fish Market. The rooms were roomy and they had a nice gym. Staff was friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The roof top bar is a must stop in any season. Would stay here again.

100% all around best place to stay & visit.

Hands down the only great place to stay in that vicinity. We have been to the four seasons and tried others ONLY when we have booked last minute and Thompson is not available.
This is a Hyatt Product and let me just tell you. It is the best hotel because it covers all of the bases.
Professional staff is number one on the list and there are too many names to mention but here are a few of our lovely, very appreciated host and hostesses within:
From Door to The Nest!
Chuck if you need recommendations on restaurants and sites, etc. You’ve got our Irish brother Joe at the front desk with Albir(part Irish maybe..inside joke.), Emily, Jade, and Kion and Aiden. I hate to miss anyone everyone at the front desk is so lovely and accommodating. Be sure to get a fresh bake chocolate chip cookie and a glass of champagne upon arrival.
Actually, before that you will encounter the front bellhop and you will see Drew and Geo and Natty. All of these guys take extra care of your personal belongings and your car and are willing to go the extra mile for you.
Upstairs, you’ve got Andrew and Gus taking care of you at the nest.
And one of our absolute standout favorites is Natali behind the bar with Andrew.
One of the best things about this hotel is the restaurant. The food is next level top-notch and really can’t be beat. Chef Rakouch and her crew sear and sauté everything right in front of you and it’s incredible. What they are able to produce in a very intimate and exposed space.

The A/C in our room was really loud.
I would love to have a better option for the coffee in the rooms, the pour over coffee was like drinking hot water.
I would not use the valet parking option again, the bill for that was $102 for one night. I asked how much valet would be, was told $68 including tax.
We were charged an additional $34.52 for destination fee, that was not disclose to us.

Room was nice except for lighting. Very little lighting other then limited bedside lighting, and bathroom lighting was not great either. Service at the Conversation restaurant was very disappointing. I think room service orders were given priority, and it took close to 20 minutes before someone even took our order then another 30 minutes before meal arrived at table.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the AC I called in and they sent the repair guy right away. He wasn't able to fix the AC because it needed a part to repair they gave me a portable AC. Since I can't transfer to a new room for the night because the hotel was fully packed due to Valentines Day they gave me a free meal worth $75 good for 2 people. The next day I was provided a new clean room to stay. I can't complain. Thank you Thompson staffs.

Our air conditioning was broken and was making awful sounds all night long that woke us up over and over again. We also ordered in room dining and the fries were so salty they were not edible. I enjoy salty fries but these were beyond that. Really disappointed considering I paid 500 in total to for my 1 night stay.

Overall, this is a great hotel. The front desk and main restaraunt staff were phenomenal. The rooftop bar however was unfortunately the opposite. Bery long waits for simple things like a glass of water and massively over priced drinks & appetizers. I would stay here again, I’d just skip the rooftop.

Thompson Seattle was such a beautiful property to stay at. We had the water view and it was breathtaking. Everything was within walking distance so it was really easy to get around. We were able to check in early and the hotel staff went above and beyond to take care of us. I will definitely be returning.

No parking kinda sucks but not much to be done about that in Seattle. The majority of the staff are nice although there’s some with the typical foul attitude you’d expect from someone who’s from Seattle. It’s also kind of ridiculous with what the room costs that the AC is locked out and can only be set down to 65*F. It’s not hard to override but honestly shouldn’t have to be done just to be comfortable in the room you’re paying to stay in. The hotel is decent and on the fancier side but I probably won’t be staying there again next time I’m in the area
