Location is great! It was pricey but it was during USA vs Australia World Cup, so we knew location was key!
We had an oversized vehicle and they accommodated it perfect, for a small fee! Every employee was pleasant! Would definitely stay there again!!

A very unpleasant experience for a room that cost more than $800 per night. This hotel definitely did not meet my expectations for a four-star property.

First, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which was surprising and uncomfortable.

We booked a “room with a view,” but the room itself directly faced other guest rooms. To see anything other than other people’s rooms, we had to step out onto a very small balcony that was barely large enough to stand on, and even then the view was only partial.

The staff were also unhelpful and unfriendly. They rarely smiled and gave us contradictory or inaccurate information. At check-in, we were told that our credits could be used at both the hotel market and the restaurant. However, at check-out, we were told that the credits could not be applied to our market purchase.

The hotel market also had no price tags on the items, so guests have no way of knowing the cost until checkout. We bought three bottles of water and a tiny tube of toothpaste, and the total came to $38.

Finally, the complimentary toothbrushes were extremely poor quality. The bristles started falling out during use.

Overall, this was a disappointing stay and felt far below the standard expected from a four-star hotel, especially at this price point.

Loved the clean rooms and great helpful staff. Can't beat the location which was right down at the waterfront and directly across the street from the cruise terminal. So convenient. I would definitely recommend the Seattle Marriott Waterfront if you're looking for a hotel in Seattle.

The girl at check in didn’t know any of the perks for Bonvoy members. Didn’t even tell me the 3 rooms had breakfast included. They forgot to give us complimentary water in the rooms. At breakfast buffet we had to wait 45 minutes while we see empty seatings inside. And it’s buffet so we would have served ourselves. Why the wait? $700 per night I expected much better overall.

Room was very clean. Love the hardwood flooring in the room. Felt cleaner under my feet than carpeting. The best shower I have ever had in a hotel. Pool was amazing. The area was clean and welcoming. Staff was great. Everyone was kind and helpful with any questions. The restaurant was great as well. It was an amazing stay and we will definitely be back, hopefully soon!

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the location was excellent, and the property was clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a great view, making our stay very enjoyable.

The only issue we encountered was at check-in, as our room was not ready until 5:00 PM. As a result, we had to wait longer than expected before being able to settle in. Aside from this delay, our overall experience was positive, and we had a pleasant stay.

Great location. Very expensive. Hotel staff not helpful. Tech refused to fix a minor electronic issue and I had to change rooms. Upon checking in we were told we would have $20 meal credits on each room so we ate there. No credits were ever issued so we paid way too much for no reason.

The AC Unit was so loud in the room we could barely sleep.. my daughter kept waking up from it going on and off all night and asking what that is.. Felt like we were on an airplane the whole night.. For $500 a month I would expect more..

This Waterfront Marriott is the perfect place to stay if you’re cruising out of Seattle. There is simply no more convenient lodging. This hotel is literally a crosswalk away from your point of check in and luggage drop for ships departing Pier 66. We would never consider staying anywhere else.

Hotel is close to everything. Pike’s Market 5 minutes away. Easy to walk everywhere. Hotel was okay. Needs to be updated. Thought the breakfast should be included but isn’t. Not worth the $33 for the breakfast buffet. Thought everything in Seattle cost too much. Hotel is close to cruise ships. A few even dock right across the street.

The property is fine, but the hotel description notes that there is a pool available, which is not the case. It has been under renovation since the end of April. We would have booked a different hotel if we had known this. Especially when there is a destination fee and the amenities are not available, so a bit overpriced.

We stayed three nights pre-cruise on Princess. If you are cruising on NCL, this is a great location because the cruise port is right across the street. If you are cruising on Princess, there are many more affordable options that are closer to Pike's marketplace. Room 819 was nice, but had problems with noise.It's close to a railway track with trains going by frequently. They were loud and woke us several times. If you stay here ask for a room away from the railroad tracks. The room was clean and housekeeping staff was nice. We dined at the lobby bar all three nights. The service and beverages were good. $17 to 20 for entry level wines. Beer -$7-9. The food was only three stars- very forgettable.

The hotel room and bathroom needs remodeling. The breakfast restaurant was to small for all the people that goes there, so we couldn't eat breakfast there. We also tried to buy orange juice on the Cafe at the lobby, but they didn't have none. They need to supply this cafe more and make a bigger restaurant to eat. The hotel is too EXPENSIVE and the Hotel is not worth paying that much for a room like we did, those rooms needs to be remodel

It took two hours to check into the hotel even though I’m a titanium elite for life member minimum at their top 1% of customers with a guaranteed early check-in. I had to wait in two separate lines for 45 minutes.
Extremely frustrating.
Relatively expensive hotel, would recommend choosing another.

The staff overall was great. Our room was hot and we could not get the A/C or fan turned on. We called the front desk and they had maintenance come over. He was nice and flushed the system in the room. The A/C worked for. Few hours and quit during the evening. Upon check-out - we did note it again with the front desk. We also heard from other guests that they experienced the same issues.

My only issue was it was advertised that there was a breakfast buffet. We wanted to get up get something and go. That is not the case. They only offer a sit down breakfast in their hotel restaurant Hook & Plow. I really believe that is quite deceiving.

Our view was amazing and getting around to areas of interest were very easy!

If you are needing a place to stay before leaving on a cruise (Norwegian was ours), it doesn’t get any better. Close to so many restaurants, shops, Pike St Market, and the Olympic Sculpture Park. Highly recommend!

The view from the room was incredible. The Valet staff were top notch for sure ! There were two gentleman and a gal specifically that were super friendly and extremely helpful(sorry I didn’t get their names)! The area is pretty much within walking distance of everything and if not a scoot or bike are always available to rent nearby.

The main restaurant was closed and the hotel bar was open but it didn’t feel as fancy as you would hope for booking with the marriot. The room was lovely and very clean. I enjoyed staying in the hotel due to the helpful staff and professionalism although I wish the pool had a hot tub! The gym was great everything in there and pool was kinda small but its design is nice as it’s indoor/outdoor clean and heated. Food was great expensive for dining if USD isn’t your currency.

The ala cart meal delivery was disappointing. I purchased a ceasar salad and the chicken was over cooked and there was no dressing. I had to call the front desk twice to get dressing delivered.

On the day of our check out housecleaning repeatedly started knocking and trying to enter starting at 9:00am. Kept waking us up

Property was relatively modern, but the problem was with ants coming in from under the door. We didn’t have any food left the room, but they would be crawling around the bathroom entrance. The staff was dismissive about it and said “I’ll note it, thanks”. Parking is $68 over night, while street parking is free from 8pm-8am

The Marriott Waterfront is the best place to stay for a tourist central, kid friendly stay! We were able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to see with a 4 and 5 year old or get to public transportation easily. The hotel itself is quiet, updated, very clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. We arrived early and were able to store our bags while we walked the waterfront before check in. The indoor outdoor pool is a fun feature. Views of the bay were beautiful from our room.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel delivered an exceptional experience. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning—one of the best views we’ve ever had in Seattle. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the city while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. The restaurant staff also went above and beyond, providing excellent service and a great dining experience.

What truly set this hotel apart was how they handled our delayed flight. The staff showed incredible flexibility and compassion, making a stressful situation much easier for us. Because of the outstanding service and attention to detail, this will be the only place we stay when visiting Seattle from now on. Every interaction—from valet to front desk to restaurant staff—was thoughtful, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-located hotel with exceptional service that truly goes above and beyond.

Clean room, decent lobby. Restaurant was closed the second night of our stay, and lobby bar prices far exceeded the value. For prices that high, I would expect more value with the seating and/or staff friendliness and efficiency. Value was not there.
