The first room we got was very small and not remodeled like the pictures I saw when I booked the hotel. The staff was amazing and was able to accommodate me and switched me rooms. The new room was much nicer, however the AC did not work and I had to sleep with the window open. I did report the AC however I’m assuming it slipped their mind. I also asked for fresh towels, and that was forgotten as well.

I love staying here it’s very close to downtown and pike market. Hotel is very clean and the staff and check in process is amazing . For sure always staying here every time I go to Seattle .
Only small thing this time was the AC not sure if it was us or the AC unit but cold air was not coming out .
But everything else amazing

I really enjoy staying in older, well-maintained properties when visiting downtown Seattle, and the Executive Hotel Pacific definitely fits that definition. This cool old building is definitely a timeless icon of of historic architecture, with an exterior façade that belongs in a black and white detective movie. The rooms (ours was on floor 2 facing 4th Avenue) are modest in size but full of character and charm. Everything was very clean and worked perfectly. Bathrooms are small by modern hotel standards but larger than bathrooms in similarly aged historic hotel buildings in Seattle. Beds are comfortable, but on the softer side, and included like six pillows! The hotel provided ear plugs as a free amenity and I was very thankful for that as a light sleeper (downtown Seattle wakes up earlier than me.) The true highlight of staying here was the staff: every single staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and sincere. In my book, that goes a long way towards influencing my choices next time I'm in Seattle. We love staying in older hotels and will definitely be back to the Executive Hotel Pacific in the future.

The AC did nothing to keep the room cool. April isn’t exactly warm in Seattle, so I can’t imagine staying there during the summer months. The room was clean but very basic-get what you pay for there! The staff though were not very warm and welcoming.

The AC unfortunately didn’t keep the room cool despite being on the highest AC cold setting. The bed was comfy although the blankets were oddly thin.

The parking garage is also quite confusing. There’s not a way to pay for parking before checking in and there’s no places to park before checking in. So unless you find a spot to park despite the parking garage, it’ll be $50 unfortunately.

There were cafes down stairs but the hours were varied and we didn’t eat there. Location is a good spot we felt safe and it was a quick walk to pike place.

The room was spacious, which was nice. And had AC which was a must since you couldn't open any windows outside the one in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. Check-in was smooth, and the hotel was communicative prior to arrival via email and text. Room was a bit stuffy, and the hotel itself was a bit dated. But location was phenomenal - walking distance from everything we needed.

Our second time here, if you are handicapped and need a ramp, Beware! There are no ramps, only stairs, turned on tv at 9am and there was no signal, same thing happened 7 months earlier? Coincidence or conspiracy? They blew me up with text and emails about touchless check in, when we got there 1 kiosk was in Japanese and the other one was down 😔so don’t be surprised when you check in, hotel is old and a lot of wear marks BUT all in all it was clean, comfortable, convenient, had a Great Bar and Grill in house and a nice morning cafe, definitely recommend if wanting to explore downtown Seattle and the Market!

Great price and location. But was very chilly in the room when I went. Outside temperature was 45 Fahrenheit at night, 70-80 during the day and the room barely got warmer than 65. Showers were also pretty cold. I don't expect anyone to use the gym as it is too small. And the rooms themselves were also pretty small. But overall for the price and location I was very satisfied. Slept comfortably the whole stay.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but we were unable to turn the water on in the shower, so that was a problem. Fortunately, we were only there for one night, so we showered when we returned home.

Parts of the property are tired and in need of upgrading or repair (peeling wallpaper, rusty hinges in the bathroom, no venting or fan in the bathroom, etc.). Not deal breakers, but reflective of the price when compared to other properties.

We had a great stay at the Executive Hotel Pacific. Centrally located to everything we wanted to see and do. Safe and secure parking was super convenient. The room was very clean. Had a chance to enjoy their café and attached restaurant/bar. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Room was dirty, hair on walls, dust everywhere, windows broken and would not stay open, AC didn’t work and was blowing hot air, shower door broken, shower handle difficult to turn on. Loud and next to bus stop which is busy all night long and early morning. Had issues with checking in via self check in both times I stayed here, first staff member was super helpful and kind, second staff member was not helpful and receptive when I told him I already had an issue with their self check in and needed the front desk to do it, made me try self check in (which did not work again) before he would do it on his computer.

This hotel is mostly fine, and is a good value for downtown Seattle. We had two complaints: the first is that there was an issue at check-in where they initially couldn't accept any of our credit cards, despite them being perfectly valid. Apparently this was somehow related to booking through Expedia, and it took a manager to resolve it. The second issue is that the traffic noise is very loud and there doesn't seem to be any form of sound dampening. I definitely recommend ear plugs for sleeping.

There isn't any way to adjust the room temperature. It's heat only in the \"winter\" months and AC in the \"summer\" months. The property is in serious need of an update. That said, the staff is pretty nice, especially Ari and Israel, who are always very helpful.

This hotel looks NOTHING like the photos. Please stay away. The room was dirty, stains were everywhere and the carpets were torn. The doors were all scratched and damaged too. Not a huge deal, if you know that that is what you are getting into, but imagining that you're going to get a room like the one in the pictures and then getting bait-and-switched is insane. I couldn't even stomach one night there.

The room was tiny but usable, the staff were very nice and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel if you are in a wheelchair or disabled and can't use stairs. The elevators are either up or down stairs and while they can get you there through the grill most of the time if you want to stay out late you have to wait for a manager to help you come in through the storage entrance in the alley and use a metal movable ramp to get you to the elevators. Getting through the storage area was difficult. Everything else was 10/10 the food at the café was excellent and the food from their grill while pricer was worth every penny.

The staff were so nice and helpful the entire stay! It’s also the perfect location (is on top of a steep slope so be aware) but the hotel itself could use better cleaning. The room was not too clean and you don’t get slippers so pack your own or walk barefoot on their carpets. Nevertheless, a solid hotel for a weekend trip.

The location is ideal and they have a restaurant downstairs that has good food and ambiance. However, the plumbing was horrible and it makes it feel like the toilet was dirty. We didn’t have any views because the windows were blocked off and there is this light that is still on at night so the room is not pitch black. The light is over your head so annoying. There was a woman who was up front who didn’t look happy. I told her about the plumbing issues and she didn’t follow up with us. I would not stay here again.

Firstly, this review is not directed towards the staff. Only my room and experience in it.

As soon as I got off the elevator I knew it was going to be very mid level — from the smell and condition of the carpet and the dated design.

In no particular order..

• The bathroom sink had visible hair on it.
• The toilet was clearly not for an adult and it was sandwiched in between the wall and the tub. With a public toilet handle.
• The vanity was weathered and cracked.
• The sink faucet lever was chipping the frame of the mirror.
• The bedside clock was wrong.
• Only one of the two bedside lamps worked.
• The lock was a CHAIN and missing screws.
• I tried to turn the air conditioner on 65 and nothing but hot air came out.
• Generally crusty bathroom/room finishes.
• The tub stopper was literally unattached.
• The hotel does not have its own parking or valet. You have to pick a garage

And I’m sure more hotels are doing this now, but I just do not like kiosk check-in. Why does everything have to be automated? It should be either/or, not only.

My stay was one night and I was trying to treat myself to a reasonably priced hotel and have a night out. Things looked decent on the web and the original reviews I saw had good ratings. I sincerely don’t know how.

Unfortunately, I will never stay here again. It would be better to spend $50 more and stay at a reliable brand name (Marriott, Hilton, Embassy, etc..) where they will at least have adult sized toilets.

This hotel is run-down and in desperate need of a remodel. The electrical outlets in our room were not functioning so the front desk staff moved us to another (upgraded) room for free, but most of the outlets didn't work there either. We were in a 2 bedroom suite and the heater did not work in one of the rooms so we all had to sleep in one bed together because the room with the sofa-sleeper was too cold. We pre-paid for parking when I booked the hotel, and then were charged again for parking when we checked in. The hotel management refused to refund the double parking charge because we had booked through a 3rd party. The location is convenient - very close to Pikes Place Market and other attractions, but overall we are very dissatisfied, and would not stay here again.

You get what you pay for with an old, bare bones hotel. But it was clean and I didn't see any insects.

My only complaint is that the parking is in a different building half a block away, which is fine, but I couldn't find any information saying that I should expect this and it's impossible to find unless you are told where it is as the only signage is not very visible.

For $45 a night for the parking there should be a little bit more effort into at least making this clear. The staff member I spoke to regarding how to find it after going around the block three times made it sound like I should have already received instructions and a code, but I swear on my life I received no such thing. I guess maybe you're expected to find street parking first, go ask about parking (you check in with your cell phone and get the door card from a kiosk, so inherently you wouldn't be expecting to talk to anyone), then get told about it, then go park.

I don't say that with any actual vitriol, for what it's worth. Israel, the man who helped me, was very nice and gave me great directions. Everything else was uneventful.
