Its was a horrible stay i booked my mum and dad in who are 63 and 71. The room they were first given was very very far away fro everything, as per the hotel.com app the hotel has parking available. This is untrue they had to park their car on the road side. The room was dirty.

When they approached the hotel staff initially they were incredibly rude and told my parent they had to come back after 3pm which was several hours later.

This is not the kind of service anyone would expect from this or any hotel. When we asked for a refund we were told we will not be given a refund which was not ok as we were very disappointed. We will never be going back to this hotel

Overall very happy with our stay. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good food and drink throughout and lived the water slides.

One downside is the lifts to move between floors are a little small which can bring delays at times.

Lovely, clean hotel with great facilities. Convenient for the airport and a short walk to the beach at the Aldau. The staff are excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable.
Away from the hotel complex I wouldn't feel particularly safe to venture out as a lone female at certain times but felt fine going for a run in the mornings.

The hotel is excellent for families but not recommended for couples at all , very busy, children , I choose a honey moon room but unfortunately it was like others room no privacy no quiet atmosphere, loud everywhere especially in the aqua park.

Food and beverage was of a very poor quality and meal times was like being in a hostel!!!!
wifi was very poor and only 2 devices allowed to connect per room
It is such a shame to note that the local nationals/Egyptian guests are treated badly by your staff!! - Please note that all guests are paying guests and should NOT be treated any differently!!!!!!!!!!

We ware surprised that the guests reserve the chairs around the swimming pools starting from 8 am, and keep it reserved till the end of the day. We couldn’t find any chair around the swimming pools during all the days we stayed there. The hotel management knows about this issue and they don’t have any solution.
The Restorant is very busy all the time.

i would like to thank the hotel management team for the excellent work they are doing to maintain the best customer service with international standard special thanks to Mr Emad Samaan in reservations and Mr Ayman Saad at the restaurant who were treating me with extra care.
this hotel has best customer service level you can ever get in Egypt
food was above excellent/ beach was clean/room was very comfy.

the only 2 comments that i need to bring to the management attention are:the cart that transfer customers to the beach was always late on both ways and i noticed that the drivers hang around quite often and i may recommend using 2 carts for both ways all the time for both directions because during my stay there was only one cart working all the time and sometimes i waited more that 15 min in such hot weather.
2nd the diving center was far below level, i only took one trip to Gifton island and the only good thing with the nice service from our guide Fady and Bassem BUT the food was not ok at all no dessert provides NO COLD DRINKS or bottled water provided plus a hygienic DISASTER done by one of the stuff who was using his bare hand to put ice at the drinking water which i can grantee was NOT bottles just tap water, i do not blame the poor guy but i blame the management who did not put a qualified person for food and beverage on board of the boat,and although the diving center is independent but this image is reflected back on stiegenberger...

This is my second stay at this hotel after two years. Everything has changed to negative, nobody seems to be working who was working two years ago. The ingredients used to prepare food is low quality, the food is repetitive, not fresh. They offer powder mixture as orange juice and not generous with all other drinks as it was before. The hotel is not multinational, the guests were all from the German speaking countries and the open buffet was anything but various varieties of potatoes. The desert section is unbelievable, they offer cheap jelly as desert! As for the rooms, the bathrooms are smelling no matter what, the air conditioners are old and noisy, there is a constant sound of construction ongoing in some sections, they leave 1 shampoo for 2 guests, you always need to ask for everything. The hotel staff are young and inexperienced. The minimum conditions for security are not met. When you have a problem, they just get offensive and blame you. This is their solution. Do not waste your money for this 2 star hotel.

It’s the most miserable stay I have ever had in my entire life.
I can’t stand the smell in this hotel which is every where ( toilets, swimming pool etc.).
The food is rubbish and don’t believe that all inclusive means you will enjoy everything ( good restaurants and fresh juice.... are excluded) rubbish food and juice are offered.
I can’t eat well and really can’t stand this smelly hotel( close your nose before you enter the toilet).
Very unprofessional staff at the reception who wasted more than an hour for the check in to find my booking ( I discovered that they have been trying with my first name not last).
I lost my money there because it’s not worth for even a penny.
I’ll never ever think to use this name of such a hotel all over the world not just Egypt.
Everything is very low standard and I can’t believe that this is a German brand.
This is less than a ONE STAR HOTEL.
Good luck to anyone lost some money and time there.

Very clean and friendly resort. Lots to do. Private beach with entertainment is very nice. Ok selection of food in the alinclusive restaurants, however some restaurants can do with a better menu/selection. Hotel staff very friendly however language is a barrier and difficult at times. Overall very lovely resort especially if going with kids.

2nd visit to this hotel. Quality throughout and has everything catered for. Bit of a pest always getting asked (knock on the door and calls from reception on nearly a daily basis to ask if everything ok between 5 -6pm when trying to relax in the room)Going as a mature couple, it was good to have separate area for roof top batheing and dining area for adults only. Although appreciating it is a family hotel and most of the entertainment focusssed this way. Everyone friendly and helpful, even the managers who were always around to talk to. A lot of effort put into Christmas and New Years Eve Gala dinners and festivities from all quarters.

Lovely hotel with lots of pool area to choose. Suitable for adults and families. Smaller area for little ones and larger slides for grown ups. Roof top pool for adults only. Bit of sunbed wars some days but quite fun to watch.( Only let down of the whole holiday as sunbed reservation policy changed twice in a matter of days depending on who was complaining loudest and one group seemed to get preferential treatment after complaining very loudly)
Rooms good sized. Food varied and good. Friendly helpful staff who actually made the holiday special.

We had an amazing vacation in hurghada. We enjoyed our stay in the Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hotel, very friendly staff to name Boules in the reception, Mina and Radwa in the business center and Salah in the magic restaurant. Will definitely go back next year.

hotel with good facilities, not very qualified staff handling the guests( way of dealing with the customer should be more professional specially the front desk ) as well the staff at the bars, food and beverage of very average quality( tending to poor quality) with low variety , not a five stars food at all, i have been to many resorts in Hurghada but this hotel can be the least preferable to me, room found with lots of mosquitoes ( over 20 ) and i had a fight to kill them all , front desk were very reluctant to give us the room specially i have 2 years old kid and he has to change but they insisted to give us the room not before 3 and they gave it to us at 3:20pm ! lots of fights at the Check in for other rooms for friends and changing rooms for them for having deficiencies in facilities inside the room , total for me a non repeatable experience

I spend one week, the reception team was great and the check in was quick and the room was the same as its described on the offer with hotel.com and the fees as well. We was small family 2 adults and 2 children the hotel very convenient and the room very comfortable. The aqua was great for kids
Only I have to disadvantaged points:
The clean for dishes was not as should to be, maybe coz the a lot of guest
The beach for aqua magic is not convenient at all specially for who need relaxing, however I sent to the management to tell them thatbis not all for us to be on AlDau beach , and the answer was not as it should be from my point of view
Overall nice hotel but only for kids

Great potential. ..but a little disappointing

Aqua magic is a huge hotel. Many pools . Lots to do for all ages.
Spacious rooms. Sevice was reasonable , nothing exceptional.
We had an evening turn down only on 1 night out of 5. This is not an essential. ..but for a 5* hotel , not upto standard. Bathroom amenities never replenished or even tidied. Clean towels on some days...other days we had to ask....no biggy ..but disappointing. Lovely thick Egyptian cotton bath towels...no bath sheets.
After reading rave reviews about the food, I was a little disappointed .
Whilst the hotel offers several restaurants. ..most of the food was just the same. Very mediocre reallly.
The Sky restaurant was the only restaurant which was really enjoyable. The Italian restaurant OK.
We had to ask several times for the room fridge to be replenished.....no niceties that we've seen about towels being folded in a special way etc.
Most disappointing is the \"Honeymoon package\" It costs extra for nonew of the 'benefits' materialised.
No room upgrade / no VIP treatment / no extras at all (apart from a small heart shaped cake).
Not sure what the extra cost was for.
Still we enjoyed our time in Hurghada...would I return to Aqua Magic ....ummmmm....probably not.

All inclusive is not the promised deal for this resort.Minibar service 4 Pepsi and water,no Pepsi refilled next day.Restaurants only to visit once in 5 night stay.Steak in restaurant 20 euro extra.Many Egypt tourists,some with hidden face dress,strange to see that!!.Many Egypt boys come to pools for western tittyshow.Security checked all handluggage,but no suitcases.Overall not secure feeling.
Rooms in block 7 noisy,no isolation used,outside ceilingplates falling down.Only 2 small elevators,one out of service 3 days

! week at this hotel and I must say one of the best we have stayed in Egypt. The staff were excellent from cleaners to entertainment. the pool staff and bar staff were a credit to the hotel. Beautiful place well maintained and very clean. the pools were also excellent. My only real criticism was some of the beds around the heated pool were very uncomfortable or broke. But as it was not too busy is was easy to swap for a newer bed. All in all a lovely relaxing break in a lovely hotel would go back.

Fabulous hotel, near to beach.

We had a fantastic stay, staff very friendly both in the main dining room and the lobby lounge good choice of food. Plenty to do for both adults and kids the pirate ship for kids is fantastic and the slides and lazy river for adults and older kids are great. Animation team brilliant especially Rebecca also Hany in the main restaurant Adel & Habib in the lobby lounge were very pleasant. Would definatley stay here again.

A great family friendly hotel, it felt like several hotels in one. One end had a child friendly pool, play area and the kids club, round the corner was the adult/teens area with larger slides and music. There was then the beach area which also had its own relaxed atmosphere. My room was spacious and clean and the cleaner was very attentive and keen to check all was Ok. The food options were many and varied, three a la carte restaurants which could each be used once, a wide selection in the main buffet and the option of food at the beach at lunchtime. The loud outdoor entertainment finished by 10pm so everyone could get a good nights sleep. Access to the walking track next door provided a good running track. Peddlos were available included (wind permitting for 30mins a day). All in all a great experience.

Fantastic family fun

Beautiful surroundings for the adults, fun activities for the kids in a safe environment. The family room where we stayed for 3 nights was nicely appointed with a spa feel. The whole resort was immaculately clean. The servers and animators were attentive and came by frequently. The food was plentiful and very good--tasty and healthy. The beach access across the street was convenient enough, especially since the main attraction was the water slides. In February, the Red Sea is cold, as is the Lazy River (17 degrees)--neither are heated! The Vista Spa provided very good quality of services--I had a hot stone massage and facial; both were very good. The pedicure was at the beauty salon and was also very good, but lacked the professionalism of a Spa although the attendants were genuine and kind. My 3 kids (11, 14, 14) and I loved our stay and would not hesitate to return.

Went all-included. The buffet food was surprisingly a really high standard - large choice of food, to satisfy all tastes/people. Only a couple of times was the food disappointing (out of the ~20 visits). Snacks on the beach were really good. Waiter/drink service was flowing....

At the time of booking, the website didn't point out shoes were mandatory to gain entry to restaurants in the evening - a new policy which is not great if you only have flip-flops!

I also went off-season, so the guest count was minimal - which is what I wanted.
I didn't really leave the resort, that wasn't what my stay was about so I cannot advise on the surroundings. For those wanting some R&R, a great place when it's empty.

Paid extra for personal wifi and was extremely disappointed - wifi based video calls were not good, required constant reconnection and were a source of frustration which is not smthg you want on holiday. Streaming videos was ok.

Really annoyed about the airport transfer service. Arranged pick-up, cost €15 for just me in a minivan. Arranged drop-off to airport and was given a limousine service for €12. That's not right. They were collecting me, knew I was one passenger -> should've sent a cheaper (?!) limousine. This is opportunism and unacceptable.

Terrific experience!

As a solo Canadian traveler, I've really enjoyed this hotel. Despite being here one night, I felt like i was treated as a VIP with very personal attention. The food is terrific, and the rooms are great. I appreciate the double paned glass, so the sounds from the pool don't exist when you shut the doors. I'm staying here on my way back - I can't say enough good things about this place.

I stayed 4 days in this Hotel, everything was great.. first of all smiley man (Ayman) was waiting for us in the airport, he was very polite and he drive us to the hotel by new clean van.
we arrived at 11:00 am to the hotel which was early , a very helpful man was waiting for us with warmth greetings ,he introduced himself ,Mr.Majdi (Senior Front Office Manager), he asked as to have seats in the lobby and give his instructions to one of the front disk staff to finish check in procedures quickly and take as to have our late breakfast.

we had our late breakfast in the Italian restaurant, the hotel was crowded because it was holiday in Egypt, but the next day most families left the hotel because of working days and schools in Egypt.
we had free upgrade for family room, it was pool view with nice balcony , mini bar just with water and Coca-Cola cans without anything else, it was poor minibar , the room was clean and smells good, the bathroom without shampoo or body lotion but we got them after asking for them.
The food was great and delicious with many options, all restaurants were great and clean, chefs were professional especially (So'ad and Moh.) in the omelette section,and the chef for Italian food in the main rest.
The best service we had it was on the Beach, towel guys ( Mahmoud ,Hazem ) ,Beach waiters(Georges ,Bullous ,Daniel) were very helpful and friendly. they made our days.
Mr.Magdi was always available , and he approved all our requests as late checkout.

Good family hotel in marvelous Hurghada.

I have been their on July 2016 for 6 nights.and i recommend to visit this hotel for families with kids.Its a Medium size hotel with beautiful Aqua park. in Avery good Location.Hotel has marvelous sunny beach in his sister Hotel with clear lovely water.

I requested an early Check in but i didn't get an answer before traveling and when i arrived i didn't find my room tell the normal check in time. lately i communicated with Mr.Magdy the front office Manger who was very supportive and Cooperative man.

Food is v.good with good variety and all Chiefs are helpful and smiling
The only silly and unpolite person was the restaurant service manager and some of his team I think they hate their job
The other important thing that you have to give good tips to housekeeping guy otherwise your room will not be cleaned regularly or on proper way

Be pampered, but be aware of the issues

Family room is a hotel requirement for couple with 2 kids, even though our ķids were 3 year old twin girls - two double beds is not an option. Nice room, good size, but no door on children's room, no bathtub, and bathroom not lockable and with a frosted glass door that keys out light on the faces of the sleeping children. No free wifi also an annoyance, but we had local sim cards that helped slightly (no streaming at night!). Pools are awesome - kiss loved payee ship and lazy river, though also water slides and regular pools. Drinks and snacks available by pool or beach which was awesome. Food a bit overdone and salty, and new pastry chef probably needed, though custom pasta and Mongolian grill stations were great, as were custom omelettes in the morning. Good excursion offers available outside diving room. Restaurants seem to get booked up really early, and they require minimum 5 night stay to be included in free offer. Overall a great stay - will probably go back again!

By far the best hotel in Hurghada

This hotel is just magnificent. It went through a massive renovation so all rooms and facilities are in perfect condition. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They help you get the most out of your stay. The all inclusive is absolutely amazing. 24 hours of non stop delicious food and drinks. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Hurghada.

Nice family hotel ,

We loved our stay here. Facilities are superb and the staff and animation team were brilliant with the children who are 2 and 4 years. Special shoutout to Ziko and Shanon.

The only thing I would comment on was that the hotel advertised a mini kids club for 2-4 year olds however the staff did not seem keen to keep the younger ones so I did not feel comfortable leaving my kids , this meant we couldn't get any adult time without having to fork out more money for babysitting. This I feel should be clearly stated by the hotel as it was one of the reasons I initially booked this place. I would also suggest that the pool bars offer a small selection of snacks ie cheese rolls etc aside from the juices and Ice cream as it was very difficult to get the kids to leave the pool to eat in the restaurants.
We paid for hotel WiFi out there but it did not work in the main restaurant where we needed it . I would suggest getting a router down there

Other than that it was a brilliant place to visit. Soo much to do free pedal boats. Shows every night . Excellent holiday and with those above suggested amen ends it would be perfect. They even sent mum a complimentary birthday cake and card which was lovely
