I recently stayed at Elaria Hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is convenient, particularly for travellers, as it’s quite close to the airport and affordably priced.

The staff were very kind and accommodating, which made the stay more enjoyable. I found the bed to be comfortable, and the breakfast was rather good, with a nice selection to start the day.

However, I must mention that the internet connection did not work during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the toilets did not appear to be sanitised properly, which was disappointing.

Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for somewhere near the airport with good value, though some aspects could certainly be improved.

The staff is friendly and kind and the Check-in was fast.
The room was very basic but with comfortable beds and clean linen and towels. But the bathroom was not clean at all.
A mini bar was available but not any water or drinks available. Not a cattle or any other facilities too.
A supermarket besides for some groceries.
The breakfast with a simple buffet was enough.
I asked a city view room but the view was just to a patio.
It was very noisy all the night until 7 am with the music sound from a disco nearby so I had not a relaxed sleep time.
Actually it was not the best choice and i would not book again.

Friendly and helpful staffs

We've been here twice and the staffs were vey friendly and helpful. We had many weird requests (eg. check out at 2:30am to catch a flight, extend the stay for a couple hours) and they sorted them out smoothly and with patience.
PS. There is a store right next to the hotel where we bought some coke and snacks. Also there are a few restaurants within 10 min walking distance. It's quite a nice area.

Elaria Hotel is a cheap hotel, but I found it was quite nice, my room had air conditioning, a fridge, en-suite shower room, (hot water always available) a balcony, and TV, (only 2 English channels) also had 2 beds and also included buffet breakfast. It was cleaned at your discretion. There was a bar and restaurant, I didn’t use. There are shops and bars locally, but pricy though compared to the city. It’s about 3/4 hour walk to the city. Between the hotel and the city there are two routes, both strewn with litter. The city is very busy, and a beer (1/2 litre) can be bought for £1.50 or less if you ask. No prices on anything so you have to barter. I bought shorts and a tee shirt and was quoted 1400 le, eventually paying 200 le even then I think I lost out. (200 le approx £10)
The weather in November was in the high 20s. I know this is a poor country, but was amazed at the run down buildings and litter. I loved it and ended up stopping the the maximum time of 30 days.

Room upgraded from a garden view to a sea view. Very spacious with comfy beds. I had nice and quiet sleeps.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They're willing to help with whatever you need, either related with your stay in the hotel or with the city.

Private beach across the road with towel service. Very relaxing.
Convenience store next to the hotel.

Standard breakfast but nice to start the day (great omelettes).
Very good wifi.
Rooms need a bit of TLC.

In general, was a nice stay!

Good hotel and fantastic beach

Overall the hotel was good compared to the money paid the rooms were good the air-conditioning was so good also the mini bar also anything missing in the room we request it and they bring it to us the location of the hotel was so good and so near to downtown the manager was so kind also the staff were friendly the breakfast was good but limited choice also there were many parking areas in front of the hotel....there was no swimming pool but the beach was fantastic the hotel is pets allowed which was a big point for us but the only weak point that hotel is renting the beach and not owned it so the policies is different so when we take our small dog to the beach on the first day they refused to let us enter the beach and tell us that the beach is not pets allowed but when we back to the manager he solve the problem but anyone have a dog need to know that the beach is not pets allowed only the hotel....but in total we love the hotel and we will repeat it again.

Definite potential to be great

The property has potential to be so much better. The room was spacious and the property itself was very nice. The view from the balcony was also lovely. Unfortunately, the wifi was inconsistent, not once did housekeeping come by, and we had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The overhead lights also did not work. Breakfast was unimpressive but staff are friendly and accommodating.

Hotel was amazing had a stunning view all around great service friendly /funny/helpful staff who went above and beyond to deliver outstanding customer service, we were only there for 4 days but it feels like a dream i had more of a peaceful nights sleep in their hotel than in my own home, or anywhere else ive ever stayed i slept like a baby throughout i did not want to leave if i could

It was awful I wouldn't rate this place at all! ULTIMATE budget hotel in good location but it was cockroach infested with dirty bedsheets and couldn't even get service at the bar. I had to go and look for a waiter. This place is in need of some serious renovation. I checked out 7am after a sleepless night. I won't stay here again but it maybe more appropriate for those on a serious budget only using the room to sleep in. The hotel need a to invest in new bedsheets that are not stained and buy new mattresses or at least give them a good steam clean.

We checked in at 4:00 am and checked out at 12:00 noon as this was only a place to sleep after 25 hours of travel so we never got to use the amenities of this hotel. It was adequate for what our purpose was in staying at the Elaria.

Todella halpa hotelli, saat hinnanmukaisen yöpymisen. Ei juuri mukavuuksia. Huoneen ikkunat eivät menneet kunnolla kiinni, joten kaikkki äänet kantautuivat kadulta ja tuuli tuiversi.

Matratze ist sehr bequem und das Bad ist ausreichend. Zimmer in Richtung Straße etwas lauter, da in Ägypten viel gehupt wird beim fahren. Persönlich hat es mich nicht gestört.
Das Frühstück ist gut und völlig in Ordnung.
Gut als Unterkunft für Strand und Unternehmungen. Es ist ein Spa vorhanden das ich nicht genutzt habe und daher auch nicht beurteilen kann.
Wer Luxus braucht ist hier nicht richtig.
Restaurants sind in der Nähe und per Fuß gut erreichbar.
Der Strand ist für Selbstversorger. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Apotheke 50m.
Es gibt einen zweiten Strand \"Dream Beach\"(250 ägyptische Pfund pro Tag/Person) dort wird man bestens versorgt und kann von dort aus auch alles buchen und unternehmen.
Würde dort gerne wieder hingehen und kann es weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel Zimmer war nicht vorbereitet,
es waren keine Handtücher da es gab nur eine Rolle Toilettenpapier.Die Dusche war von aussen sehr verschmutzt oder schimmelig.Das Zimmer wurde in einer Woche nicht einmal gereinigt.Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe ,es fehlte an Besteck oder Teller oder Tassen.
Sämtliche Backwaren wie Brötchen Toast oder Croissant waren jeden Tag alt und trocken.Kaffee gab es nur zum Aufgießen wen den Wasser da war.
der eine Stern ist für das Personal was sehr nett war.

Fint ophold hvis man blot skal bruge et værelse. De er i gang med at renovere, så indtil det er færdigt er der ingen pool, spa, disko eller terrasse.
Når de er færdige skal det nok blive rigtig fint.

Værelse med sea view kan man ikke længere forvente, da der bliver opført et større hotel på den anden side af vejen mod vandet.

Det er et hotel af ældre dato der kræver en kærlig hånd, men den ligger på en god og rolig strækning, fremfor at bo i turist helvedet og larmen.

Hvis man har behov for noget skal man blot spørge, så er de behjælpelige.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter und deswegen ist es halt nicht sehr modern. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und sauber. Gereinigt wird nach Bedarf. Das Frühstück ist Standard, nichts besonderes. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.
Der Strand, der genutzt werden kann, lässt leider zu wünschen übrig.
Alles alt, eng und sehr klein. Zu Fuß kann man einiges gut erreichen.
Schade, dass es keinen Pool gibt.

Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Jeder Wunsch den man geäussert hat, wurde einem ohne Probleme erfüllt.
Der Standort ist ziemlich gut und man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss am Strand oder bei nahe gelegenen Restaurants.

War mit allem sehr zufrieden und würde jederzeit wieder dahin gehen.

Vielen Dank nochmals ans gesamte Hotel-Team.

We didnt got the trippleroom we booked, but a double room.
There were a few stairs to take without a proper way to bring your suitecase easy.
For people in wheelchairs it is impossible to go to your room
The lobby erea and entrance is not inviting but a mess
