The woman working was kind, but extremely unhelpful! Our fire alarm went off at 3:45 in the morning for about half an hour and they said that has happened before. Unsure as to why it wasn’t fixed before our trip. One of the beds was broken. The fridge was broken and ruined our food. The rooms are stuffy and hot. We had to sleep with the window open on the Main Street and that didn’t help and it was nerve racking. Overall, terrible experience!

The room was clean when we arrived, but was not cleaned the next day, no clean towels were provided either. Front desk closed at 6 pm so we were stuck without. The next morning we complained to the front desk and they said it would be cleaned that day. When we returned from our day the room still was not cleaned and no towels again. We called the front desk and they did not answer. My husband went to the office and no one was there. This was at 4 so the office should have been open. He ran into another employee who brought us towels at least. The room was also very noisy with traffic and no air conditioning, but you could not open the windows due to traffic noise. The office hours posted were 9-6, but really nobody was in until 10 and left by 4. What if there was an emergency? I would not recommend staying at the Coastal Inn & Suites.

Kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, toaster k cup coffee pods and regular coffee pot too, fan, plates/bowls/cups/mugs/silverware/pots/pans, etc. the shower is slow to drain, but that’s common at the beach! Great place for the cost.

This was such a cute motel. I loved how big the living room is. The bed was comfortable and clean. Even the pull out couch wasn't bad. It is still a pull out couch so it has its imperfections. Everything provided in the kitchen was perfect for cooking your own meals. The motel was clean. There were a couple spots that needed TLC but they were not a deal breaker. The only thing I would suggest is putting locks on the top of doors for extra protection. I have a 2 year old who kept opening the front door and trying to escape. Luckily I was watching him like a Hawk, however, it would have been less scary with those locks.

When we first arrived, the floor was covered in sand and crumbs. I called the office and asked if housekeeping could come the next day to sweep and mop. The person I spoke to said they would send someone, but did not apologize. Each bed had only one thin blanket, and there were no extra blankets in the unit. We were all a bit cold that first night, so we went to the office to ask for more blankets. Instead of giving me extra blankets, the women in the office bombarded me with questions and comments: “Well, did you turn on the heater? Ok, well, what size blankets do you need? People who aren't from here are always cold.” Then they told me that housekeeping would bring them when they serviced my unit. Later that day, when we returned, the floor was still not swept, and there were no extra blankets. I went back to the office, and they said that housekeeping had run out of blankets and that there were only so many to go around. They did not acknowledge that the floor was not cleaned. Upset, my husband cursed a little bit, and they told us to leave their office. We were appalled and about to pack up and leave when one came out and said, “We called the big boss, and she said that housekeeping should not have said that; they were saving blankets for some reason. I have lived here for 26 years, and I was hot last night, kicking off the blankets.” Then, the finally gave us blankets. I also didn't notice until later that I was charged an extra $150 for the second night. Slow internet.

Staff was rude to me because I had a service animal and came in my room without knocking and accused me of leaving my dog alone when I was in the shower which is confusing , I was charged 100$ fee for dog poop and I know for a fact that was completely made up , I have ocd and ptsd and I checked the room and even cleaned up most of it myself, no dog poop but I was charged 100$ , they threatened to kick me out for having my service animal , the room was dirty when I first arrived but I let that go, horrible experience and I have stayed in frank hotels many times and never had a single issue until this. When I called about the 100$ fee that was given to me for no reason they said the manager isn’t there but she never leaves and were rude to me again.

Great room! We had the 2 room suite. 2 adults, 3 teen boys, 1 mid sized dog, plenty of space! The room was very clean and well laid out. There was also this cute basket with things to use for your dog during your stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, we will be staying again! I would highly recommend this property. The kitchen is perfect to cook in. Full size fridge, full knife set, 2 skillets, 3 different sized pots. 4 of each cup, plate and bowl, lots of coffee for the kureg. Parking was great, directly outside our room. Ice available in lobby during lobby hours. All linens very clean and stain free. Beds all comfortable. Close to everything on the main strip and a lovely area to walk around. Beach is roughly a 10-15 minute walk but an easy walk.
1 block away from Jake the alligator man at the marshes free museum. Lots of restaurants near by. Property has security cameras pointed at parking areas which adds to the safe feeling of the area.

Parking, location and cleanliness were very nice. Didnt have wifi for the whole stay however. Even putting in the password gave me \"connected, no internet\". Because of that, connected services like hbo or amazon werent available for the tv. Regular tv was choppy. Saw there wasnt a freezer for the fridge which was a little disappointing. And this is Expedia's problem- not the hotel's- but the description of the rooms were off. Didn't get a tub (shower), didnt have a couch. So just a bed and bathroom. Overall just a little disappointing.

My family travels to Long Beach about once or twice yearly and we’ve stayed at many places in the area. Coastal Inn and Suites is our favorite and we plan on booking the same room again during our next visit. It felt more like a small apartment than hotel room thanks to the size and the full kitchen. It was quiet, safe, comfortable, and centrally located making it easy to walk everywhere in town and save on gas. It was also very affordable and simply can’t be beat. We will be back!

What a gem, from the very warm reception to the GREAT mattress, very clean and well-appointed room. A goodie-basket for the dog. Right next to the little downtown of Long Beach, which is adorable and not trying to be it's older, hipper sister Astoria. Definitely our place to stay when we come back.

Very disappointing. When someone is paying for a service, making the situation right should be the priority. Unfortunately, our experience was largely ignored. The microwave, heater, and coffee pot were all not working our first night, which is not acceptable for a paying guest. We expected basic amenities to be functional, and this fell well short of that expectation.

Check in was a breeze super easy, friendly, and informative. Was given all my check in papers with info, fees, room key code etc. Room was on the next block down in another building in the back of the hotel. We stayed in Dec/ Jan. Room was clean and in good condition. With walking distance to tons of stuff.

For the price for 3 nights it was a comfortable stay. Couple things, we stayed in rm C36, the bathroom fan either didn’t work, or there wasn’t one, but there was panel by the light switch it blinked green then would go back to red when we tried messing with it? Blown fuse?? Unsure, but not enough to really complain about to the office, bathroom got pretty steamy and damp. Also the room was extremely cold when we entered and took quiet awhile to heat up, It has ONE wall heater for the whole place, this is a 2 bedroom with small kitchen. The rooms both had small vents that are hooked to what we thought was a heating control but it just turn on this aggressively loud fan that sucks/ pulls in the heat from the living room into the rooms (does nothing but make noise honestly) , again only one main wall heater for the whole unit………over all we did enjoy our quiet little stay here, once it warmed up it was easy to keep warm. The other issues I think are minor though, just bring extra blankets! We really enjoyed it here and plan on a summer trip.

We booked the suite for a 2 night stay. It was so spacious and clean. Kitchen was huge and came with all dishes needed. Noise level was minimal (we stayed in December so that could change with the tourist season). Bedroom was pretty big and had nice furniture. Bed was not the most comfortable. Pillows were ok. The comfort level wasn’t bad enough to not stay here again, we definitely would. Coffee/hot cocoa bar down in the lobby was nice.
Side note… The Lost Roo restaurant down the road had great food.

Good location. Bed are comfortable, pillows suck. Takes forever to get any hot water and the cleaning crew needs to take more time making sure stuff is actually cleaned. The couch and chair in the living room area were stained so bad, under the cushions filled with candy and popcorn. Handprints on the TV. Floor was filthy, don’t walk around without socks and then look at your feet. Stayed in a family suite- 2 bedrooms facing Oregon way. Maybe have the heat tuned on if you’re expecting guests, the room was like an icebox when we arrived. Microwave handle was broken, no adequate lighting in the kitchen area. Overall, it was ok. We would probably stay again just because of the location.

We got the family room which had plenty of room for all of us. The sofa sleeper was terribly uncomfortable, we also found garbage from previous guests under the couch. The kitchen had the basic items which allowed us to cook meals and eat in almost the whole trip. The shared walls are very thin and you can hear guests in other rooms, if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs just in case. Overall we enjoy our stay here and would come again in the future.
