Ceci gave us a warm welcome when we arrived at the Adrift! She gave us a thorough rundown of the property and all the things to do in the area.
We had a lovely sunset dinner at the restaurant, and had a great time riding the hotel bikes along the Discovery Trail. It was a perfect quick trip. We will be back!

The location is right on the beach. My husband had an issue with the bed being way too soft so we only stayed one night even though we reserved for two nights. The hotel was wonderful in refunding our second night's stay. Only one of the saunas was operating.

It was an ok hotel but beds are freaking awful, none of us got decent sleep because we were so uncomfortable. Also the room was a tad small, if someone wanted to get to the other side of room we all had to shuffle around to get out of the way.

They have a distillery onsite that doesn't sell drinks but does tastings which was a letdown. There is a bar on the 4th floor but just seems like a journey to get there if you're on the other side of the property.

It's a great location though, right next to the beach and all the main street restaurants/attractions are within a mile. The pool was a little small and crowded but it's heated and felt amazing.

Great place to stay in Long Beach. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite staffing shortages, the restaurant staff were amazing. The hotel offers a ton of free services and well priced activities. Very close to Main Street and a short drive to Astoria. I would recommend and stay here again.

Nice rooms and staff. The tv setup they have not good. A regular smart tv would be better. There are adult only hours at the pool but no hot tub. Everything else was exceptional. Location, basically on the beach and close to shops. Staff were very friendly. Beds were super comfortable.

If you’re looking for something close to the beach this is perfect. If you’re a traveler that likes to spend a lot of time in the room. This place will make you miserable

I have stayed at Adrift many times and usually have an awesome experience. This time however, I noticed the wear of the room we were in and the beds were awful. I am usually very easy to please but we actually got the worst night’s sleep in both beds. We had two queens in our rooms and my husband and I tried both and both were slanted and lumpy and very, very worn. Otherwise, we love this property and will most likely return. I would strongly recommend a refresh in some of the rooms that need it. And definitely time for some new mattresses. Thank you for your hospitality though. We always enjoy the property.

If you don’t want to be woke up by dogs barking, and kept up by dogs barking- this may not be the place for you. Dogs are everywhere. Very noisy unfortunately, if it were less noisy- this would’ve been a great stay.

The room was cozy and clean, the view was awesome, and the whole place had a very chill vibe. Check-in was easy and the staff were very nice. There was personal communication through text, so checking out was simply a matter of texting that we were leaving. It was a hassle free, relaxing stay.

Trying to be upscale but the room did not reflect that. Room smelled badly but looked very clean. Beds like sacks of potatoes. Decor very cheaply done, the ropes and eye level piercing lights were hysterical. Personally I don’t care for bath amenities such as shower gel, shampoo or conditioner to be communally shared by previous occupants but thank goodness I always travel with my own stuff and didn’t need to use what was provided.
We had a lovely view of the ocean from our window and did enjoy that immensely! It would have been so nice to have coffee available in room instead of having to walk out and around to another building across the parking lot to get a minuscule cup of horrible coffee. Sorry but it was and we went to town to find other.
This is what I couldn’t get, you arrive to a place that has a bar. I had assumed the “free drink” would have been to acquaint you to that amenity but you just pick out a couple cans from the fridge in the lobby and not promote your bar?
Now I understand it was thanksgiving weekend and lots of families with kids were booked. They were having a ball in the pool, all the time. I was able to enjoy about 10 minutes before footballs started flying and jocularity ramped up. This however led to the beautiful saunas they have! I don’t begrudge kids having fun and sitting in the sauna hearing them laughing and playing was fantastic.
The distillery! Don’t miss this! It was fun and informative. We loved the cranberry liqueurs ❤️

The room was clean. It was also very bargain rate. The memory foam mattresses seemed to be well past their prime. Two fiberglass kitchen chairs for seating was sub par. The tub didn't have any sort of grab bar or nonslip bottom. Next time I will stay in the adjacent Inn at Discovery Coast in a room with a sofa, fireplace, walk in shower, jacuzzi tub, balcony for a few dollars a night more.

We did not like that our room stunk and we discovered 4 very large dog pee sprays on the side of the room fridge. If that wasn't bad enough the desk clerk, when we called the second time to see if housekeeping was ever going to show up said \"Housekeeping is prioritizing cleaning rooms for incoming guests and will get to you as soon as possible.\" We had to throw away the food we placed on top of the fridge. Check out next day was not good.

There were 4 huge globs of dog pee from the top of the mini fridge all the way diwn to the floor. We didn't see it until the sun came our. The hist didnt priorituze. She said that housekeeping was busy with prepping rooms. When When we checked out and asked if the gotel had provided a courtesy the cashier asked me if I had asked for ine. I have tons of pictures.

Lots of great amenities offered at this location like a restaurant with some room service options, a distillery with tasting but it was not for me.... The decor is somewhat rustic and cool visually but i did not think it was physically comfortable. The room was clean and well maintained.

The room was absolutely a joke! To start with the curtains didn't cover the window so it let light in, and you couldn't dress unless you were in the bathroom. The electrical was absurd and I wouldn't be surprised if there were not several code violations. There were 3 hangers, 2 had unmatching robes on them, there were no drawers. so nowhere for clothes! If it wasn't for the staff, I would have left a one. They were exceptional. The view & the location were also great.
I have barely touched the surface with the room itself.

I was impressed with the cleanliness and the staff at the Adrift. I will say that my favorite feature at the hotel was the daybed that spanned the entire length of the room. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting there and looking out at the window at the beach and the ocean. I would come back just for that if nothing else.

Adrift was the perfect getaway after a night out in Portland. We didn’t have to go anywhere we ate at the restaurant, listened to live music, and ended the night with a fire on the beach. The distillery, pool, and sauna made it feel like a full, relaxing experience at a great price. My husband is handicapped, so the elevator was a huge help, and I really appreciated having someone at the front desk instead of staying at an Airbnb. Highly recommend for an easy, all-in-one escape.

My room had an ocean view, no fans or air conditioner, no phone no microwave, they didn't even check ID when we showed up. The room was pet friendly which was nice, but the room was damp and we had sleep with the window open all night, their indoor pool was in a 3 sided cabana with leaves and sticks and sand in the pool. The lights in the room, hung from ropes , part of the decor I'm sure, were harsh and uncomfortable. The room had a great view was dog friendly but that's all I could say nice about this motel. Definitely not above a 2star Ive stayed at Rodeways that were nicer.

Not what we expected.

The staff here is wonderful. Hotel is close to the beach. Restaurant has great food and a nice view of the ocean. Room - meh. For the price of the rooms we expected a bit of luxury but, instead, the rooms are extremely spartan and decor is \"Industrial chic\". Tiny table (actually a shelf that was too small to hold a laptop) with 2 cheap plastic chairs. Wooden crates for night stand (barely room for a book). Bare lightbulbs for lighting. In a room with 2 beds, which could conceivably house 2 couples, the sink hardly had counter space for one person's toiletries (toothbrush/paste, comb/brush). The beds were very firm memory foam. Probably OK for younger folks but were hard on old joints, difficult to adjust position on, and got very hot during the night.

We really enjoyed this place and the amenities as well as the location. The restaurant on the 4th floor was a bonus; my rating was due to lack of Expedia VIP status but it was corrected. The VIP drink is from the lobby, so do not think you’re gettin a drink from the bar.

Don’t waste your time & money

The room was cleaned but not clean. The towels were frayed and stain, the toilet had smears of poo. The mattress was so broken down I felt like I slept in a whole. The entire reason why we booked this hotel was because we had a busy day and they had an onsite restaurant. I called ahead to verify hours and was told they were open until 10 and was told they also offered room service. When we checked in we mentioned we were going to be busy but looked forward to dinner later in the restaurant, we dropped off our belongings and left. We were shocked and disappointed when we came back and found that the restaurant was closed. We had McDonalds in bed at nearly 10 because we had no other options. Had someone mentioned the restaurant was closed when we checked in, we could have planned accordingly. If we would have known the Pickled Fish was closed, we never would have booked the Adrift Hotel. Not to mention the barking dogs. So frustrating!!!

The pool is heated and it was very enjoyable it has adult hours and you can have alcohol just no glass. I reserved a queen room we got a full bed with super flat pillows. Sauna was good when it worked only 1 out of 3 saunaus were working. Is in walking dustance to the beach and restaraunts. Staff are very friendly.
