Booked the weekend for my wife’s birthday and had the best stay! Everything from the room itself, the amenities, the service, the food, all spot on! The only reason I put 4 stars was because they forgot my yogurt with my breakfast one morning. But it really was not a big deal and it was my fault for not even noticing and saying something right away. All in all we will definitely be back and can’t wait! Probably my favorite stay at the beach ever.

Great place to stay for the view. Nice room with a fireplace and balcony. Staff is super pleasant, professional and personable.

Suggestion for future renovations/upgrades:
Some drawers in bathroom, shelf in shower for shampoo, body wash, etc. add drawers in closet.

Would recommend to all.

The rooms are stylishly appointed with modern furnishings and conveniences. I was glad to see a refrigerator with a small freezer, kettle, microwave, and a good assortment of teas and coffees. My room had a whirlpool tub which, unfortunately I could not get to bubble. But it was a nice soak. High quality Linens and comfortable extra seating besides the bed.

Finishing quality is very low and while they are clearly maintaining the property. Just ok, seems to be good enough for them. Restaurant on site was horrible. But the beach view from the room was amazing. Loved the jetted tub in the room and the spa servwas great. There's nothing really wrong with the property but for the price, i will definitely be staying elsewhere next time. Most places at this price are well appointed and finished very nicely to give a luxury feel. This is more like a budget hotel with a few extra amenities charging similar price to very high end competitors.

The view was of the trees and bushes, there wasn’t a private hot tub as described. The rooms were listed as that and more expensive than the jetted tubs rooms. We had a jetted tub not a private hot tub. The cost wasn’t worth the room we had.

I booked this trip for my birthday with my boyfriend and was able to bring our cat with us, as our room was pet-friendly. We had such a nice time! The room was rustic and warm and inviting, the jacuzzi tub was excellent (i saw another commenter say that they didn’t get enough hot water to fill the tub—my tub filled up waaaay too hot and i had to wait like an hour for it to cool down!), the bed was so comfortable, and the proximity to the beach couldn’t be better. our room was clean, and the staff was all so nice and helpful. we loved the free tasting at the distillery, and ended up buying a couple of bottles to bring home from our trip. we stayed at one of the adult-only studio rooms in the 3-unit building of the inn. it was so peaceful, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful room, the jacuzzi tub in our room was exactly what we needed! They had wine glasses already in the room and even ice cubes in the freezer, Locally roasted coffee and scented bath salts for the tub. We checked in after sunset so we weren’t able to appreciate the view until the morning, but it was a gorgeous clear morning and worth the wait! Our room was heated by the gas fireplace, which was a lovely addition! We’ll be back and the oceanview suites are 100% worth it!

They have no coffee pots in any of the rooms! You have to go out in the cold to the opposite building, where the office is to get coffee. They do have a nice coffee bar! Restaurant on fourth floor was pretty good prices, food was good! They had no soap in any of the rooms except for liquid pump body wash.
Expedia was advertising bigger rooms in their pictures with hot tubs. Got a really small room when I showed up with a jet bathtub for one.
Heated pool never got a chance to use it though!
I went with Friends. Their room was comfortable, but again very small. Friends were in the (pool house suite) we also thought I'd get ocean view, that didn't happen either. Front Desk said the issues were because I booked through Expedia.com. My single room smelled musty. The rooms were clean.
That's why I gave a three star rating.

At 3 am the front screen fell off the fireplace and literally crashed to the floor! We woke up terrified, and then were concerned about gas leaking. Once we finally realized it was just the frame, we tried to go back to sleep. Very unsettling.

These things happen, we realize. But was extremely disappointed that when we told the staff about it next morning, they did not offer any apology, or even seem concerned. Just said, \"we'll tell maintenance.\" I explained how it had totally disrupter our sleep, and she repeated \"I'll tell maintenance.\" Still no apology or offer of any compensation. Then we told, we had an added \"resort fee\" of $15 to our card!!! Also, we were not informed about the breakfast, so missed that.

It was disappointing as the place was lovely, and we had really been looking forward to a relaxing night - it was our 50th wedding anniversary! The room was great, comfortable, nice, welcoming. Great view of the ocean.

So my review is mixed. I think if the staff would have shown just a small amount of concern or interest, I could have accepted the incident as just a part of life. It was the lack of concern that left us feeling disappointed.

We had an incredible time! The staff was so helpful and friendly! We stayed in a beach suite w/jetted tub and fireplace. The studs and restaurant onsite are top notch! Clay gives the best massages! The room was delightful, but it was impossible to get the room dark. There is a large window at the top of a wall that let's light in all night (porch light). It would also be nice to have an actual coffee pot rather than two coffee bags for a five day stay. Aside from this, we intend to stay again, but look for a room without the large upper window.

I loved staying in the loft of the beach house. It was so cozy, well apportioned and had a stunning view of the sunset and ocean from the living room.
The soaking tub was divine.
I love that it's eco friendly. No plastic containers.
The walk to the beach was an adventure through the beach grass (cuz why go down the road when you can wind down narrow sandy paths?!)
It's going to be my \"go to\" place.
All the staff were very friendly and personable. They made check-in very easy.
I can't think of a single thing that I didn't just absolutely love about the loft.... OK maybe the interesting door dance to the bathroom, but it was a fun game.
It's worth the trip!

It was a good stay but there was a bait and switch. I was told that I rented an ocean view which didn't happen. When I arrived they said it was a mountain view instead but it didn't have that either. It would have been good if I had received the ocean view that I paid for. Guessing they gave my room to someone else instead of what I paid for

The room isn't big, but its clean and they have done a nice job arranging things so that it has everything you need to be comfortable (and providing extras like chocolates on our pillows and bath salts). I watched the sunset over the ocean while soaking in the deep jetted tub.I awoke in a lovely soft bed to ocean breezes, the sound of waves, and quite. We'll be back!

We would have preferred a mattress that was more firm providing us both with a better nights sleep. The property has a very nice restaurant…the Pickled Fish which is quite outstanding. Food is delicious and the service outstanding. We definitely would recommend eating there.

I found the lobby okay, but only because there were signs. The property was a weird set up, it made it a little difficult to navigate. I stayed in room 13 above the spa in the pool house. I had a view of my vehicle and a small view of the ocean. The room was really nice, although the longer I was in it, the more I found wrong with it. I could not figure out how to adjust the fireplace thermostat. I had difficulty with the tv not working properly, the foot peddle to the trash can was broke and every time it opened it made a loud clunk when it hit the shelf. There was a light bulb out above the bathroom mirror. I found random stray hairs. The bathtub didn’t seem clean. I went to take a bath, it took forever to fill and I noticed some tiny bugs crawling around and in it. The two little rubber duckies and the bath salts were a nice touch though. The barn doors were warped and hard to open and close. The bed was so uncomfortable. It was very hard. The bedding was nice and the pillows were comfortable. I’m not a fan of dark chocolate but I thought the candy on the pillow was a nice touch, and even though I didn’t eat it, there was also a bag of popcorn! The room isn’t sound proof. I heard a little kid running back and forth in the room next door and I thought they had a pet duck. I took a dip in the pool in the morning which was nice, however it was full of dirt. The Saunas were also nice but one of them had a broken knob, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to open it to get out.

Nice little gem on the Long Beach Peninsula. Room wasn’t as comfortable and nice as I’d imagined from the pictures, but decent. Very nice staff, saunas, and salt water pool. Restaurant is good as well. Note there is no elevator, so be sure to book first floor room if you’re unable to ascend stairs. Will return!

Stay in the pool house. The rooms are cute, shabby chic, jet tub, just all around nice.

The restaurant at this hotel is really good. I mean really good. Normally, hotel restaurants in tourist towns are rarely better than a Denny’s. Not so here. And while my steak was overcooked, everything else was amazing. You must try the Brussels sprouts. Just do it. Also, the craft cocktails are preternaturally delicious. The Vieux Carre was the best. But, she makes a mean Sazerac. Between the two of us over the course of four days, we tried 6 of their specialty cocktails. All were amazing.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to head for a long weekend getaway from the city. The dunes are gorgeous, the beach accessible, great hiking on the Discovery Trail or on the trails in Cape Disappoinment. The vibe was friendly and relaxed. There's horseback riding on the beach offered about 100 yards away, a delicious distillery to sit outside and do tastings (and you can buy their offerings onsite), a ping-pong table (that we loved!), and a solid restaurant with live music some nights. Our only issue: we were excited to use the barrel saunas each day but the saunas don't hold their heat (even when we put lots of water on the rocks again and again). The only way to get any kind of sweat going was to stand up (heat rises) which was annoying to do so we didn't go again. Aside from that, all was good.

This is a nice place to go to if you have a dog b/c dogs are allowed but only in certain rooms. So if you book through a 3rd party, e.g. Expedia, then you’ll want to also contact the hotel separately to ensure you have a room that allows dogs. In that dog love spirit one of my main gripes is that they provide dark chocolate on the bed pillows. It’s literally poison for dogs. Nice gesture but definitely not realizing the imminent danger you could be putting your four-legged guests in.

I have stayed this property multiple times over the years and have always been really happy with it. This time was a bit different. The room was pretty dirty and I was actually pretty surprised. There was hair in the shower, drips of stuff on the fridge, debris on the desk and the floor was nasty. We had to wipe it up with a towel at one point and the towel was black. Normally the little things wouldn’t bother me very much but these rooms are pricey. Even in off season it’s usually double what you would pay anywhere else. I’m sad because this has been our go to hotel at the beach for years, but I think this is gonna be our last time. I think they just kinda let it go. It’s too bad

Avoid the house building, get the ocean view build

Last year we stayed in room 4 which had an ocean view, spa tub that fit two, comfortable bed, etc. I tried to book that specific room but they said they can't do that.

I didn't realize the studio I did book was in a house-like building without a beach view. Our window overlooked the parking lot. The bed was oddly low to the ground, and worn out and uncomfortable. The spa tub was triangle shaped and difficult for a couple to enjoy. The remote or chromecast device barely worked, taking ten seconds for any button push to register.

The floors and walls are incredibly thin so we could here the service staff shuffling around in a storage room opposite the bathroom and whoever stayed upstairs make a ton of movement noise starting around 6am and kept us awake.

I paid $515 including tax for this room and we absolutely regret it. I didn't even pay that much the year prior for a much better room.

Sadly the Pickled Fish restaurant nearby had also decreased in quality - their excellent fondue dish is no longer served and the food was average.

I've had worse rooms but it was not worth the price.

The room could have been a little cleaner. There were so many spider webs and spiders upon entering the room. The bathroom smelt a little odd, almost like there was mold and it was very warm in the room, but cooled down if you put the fan in the window.

The eating options on site weren't that great, but I do recommend the crepe place for breakfast or even dinner.

We have been staying here for a few years now. The hotel is small, we love the design style of it and the amenities. The Adrift Spa is a favorite of my wife’s. The only thing we noticed different this year is a daily amenities fee which they never had before. And they got rid of the French press coffee in room. Which was something we also liked. Service is good.

Quiet and romantic, small intimate property. Exactly what I was looking for. As close to the sandy beach and ocean as you can get in Washington state. Less than a mile from the cute 3 block downtown strip that has cute shops and tons of food options.

Wish we had more time as we wanted to check out the pool and barrel saunas.

Soaking tub in room had mold in the jets and on a few items in the tub.
