First and last time staying there it smelled musty and there was mold in the corners and when I was looking for a plug in I saw dentures behind the bed the breakfast was decent the front staff was awful so never again!

No cups in room and coffee was not appropriate for the machine. Night table lights and plugins did not work. Bugs on floor and carpet. Lots of debris. one person on staff at the most. Staff was irritated at best. We won’t be staying there or recommending. We stayed at several other hotels at this price range and they all exceeded our expectations.

I have stayed here twice. Once 2 years ago and then this past weekend, both for the Metropolis Superman celebration. The hotel is very reasonably priced compared to the hotels in Metropolis. It is only 11 minutes away from the celebration. Unfortunately, since I stayed there 2 years ago, the hotel has definitely went downhill. The rooms are spacious, but they definitely need a lot of maintenance. You get a good sized fridge and a microwave. Doesn't have a pool. The door that covers the fridge was broken, tiles were barely hanging on the wall. Bathroom was run down, a lot of stains all over the ceiling, holes in the walls. Very smelly. But the bed was very nice and comfy, and the ac worked amazing!!! Also the breaksfast was great. They had real scrambled eggs, waffles with syrup, butter and some amazing strawberry toppings. Also very good biscuits and gravy and very good sausage patties. I would still recommend this hotel and I would stay there again, but...you need to know what you are getting.

Reserved 2 rooms.
3p check in time but room was not ready until 5p. Had to wait in lobby for 2 hours to check in. Another family was there before me.

Owner or Mgr on duty as well as talking loudly /arguing in lobby using profanity.

Upon check in to rooms, One room had No lights or lamps other than the bathroom and over the bathroom mirror.

Room 2 had 3 lamps so we used one of theirs. Was told room 2 had a tv. It did have a tv that was not plugged nor had any wiring in back.

No telephone in room. To contact front desk.

Front desk was not-manned most of the time.
Numerous guests complained about key not working or only working for one day.
Front desk person said it was programmed that way. Ridiculous to get key updated every day.

Toilet did not flush as it should.

I was very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.

I don’t know where people left reviews as 10 out of 10 the place was absolutely terrible carpet was ripped up going into the bathroom. Trim was falling off. The sink was held up by a 2 x 4 and leaning like 2 inches a guy hanging out the third floor window smoking and yelling. It’s supposed to be a non-smoking, I’ve stayed in a lot of motels. I don’t say anything bad unless it’s really bad but this was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in 63 years. And you can’t understand the people running the hotel, they sure the hell don’t speak English! Slept there 4-5 hours and left at 3:30 in the morning it was that bad. And the “free wi-fi wouldn’t work even asked the the guy at the desk and still couldn’t get it to work. All the exterior doors were blocked open and we checked our window and found it to be unlocked! Felt so unsafe there, I will never trust reviews of hotel rooms again

Room was hot upon arrival. Turned A/C on and although it cooled, was extremely loud to the point made sleeping difficult. Turned it off at 3:00 AM and listened to the trucks roar past on the highway. Should have brought earplugs. Room felt dirty, carpet had tears in it and bath towels hanging neatly on towel bar were damp. Breakfast was no better. I will not be staying there again.

1. THE ELECTRONIC CARD KEY SYSTEM WAS NOT WORKING, SO EVERY TIME WE WANTED TO RETURN TO OUR ROOM, WE HAD TO CALL THE DESK CLERK TO COME AND LET US BACK INTO THE ROOM. VERY ANNOYING.
2. THE ROOM HAD A VERY UNPLEASANT ODOR, A KIND OF URINE SMELL.
3. THERE WERE NO DRINKING CUPS IN THE ROOM.
4. WE HAD A COUPLE OF LARGE BUGS CRAWING ARROUND ON THE CEILING.
5. THE TILE PART OF THE WAS STICKY TO WALL ON AND THE CARPETS HARD DIRT BUILD UP IN THE CORNERS.
6. THE DRAIN STARTED BACKING UP IN THE SHOWER. I CLEARNED A WAD OF HAIR OUT OF IT TO GET IT TO DRAIN.
7. THE RECLINER CHAIR IN THE ROOM WAS BROKEN AND DID NOT RECLINE.

POSITIVE POINT.
THE STAFF WAS POLITE AND FRIENDLY.

TO SUM IT UP, I HAVE STAYED IN THIS MOTEL SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST. IT NOW SEAMS THE MAINTENANCE IS BEING NEGLECTED. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE, BUT I WOULD NOT RE-
COMMEND THIS MOTEL TO ANYONE, NOR WOULD I STAY THERE AGAIN.

I would have rated this hotel lower, however the price was amazing and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I always consider those two factors first when submitting a rating.

The first room they put me in had black mold on the walls and a strong smell. I spoke with the front desk staff and they were happy to move me to a new room. The next room was much better. The room didn't have any smells, however it was still very dirty.

If your main goal is to save money while passing through Paducah, I'd recommend this hotel but BE PREPARED to be a little grossed out. A deep clean of the property and addressing the mold issues on the bottom floor/middle of the building would go a long way!

The breakfast eggs are really bad, they do not know how to cook these eggs. Overcooked. No yogurt or fresh fruits. Get there early or once they run out. there is no one to replenish any of it.

I had booked and paid for a single King bed room. The front desk gave me a double Queen room. About ten minutes later without knocking the hotel manager used his door key to LET HIMSELF into my room to say that I was given the wrong room and needed to move to the single King room. He checked the room to make sure I hadn’t used any of the amenities so that he wouldn’t have to reclean the room before he rented to another person. (I had already messed up the bed covers by sitting on the bed and used a hand towel.) He then made me recheck-in by scanning my payment card AGAIN. I will never stay at this hotel again.

I checked in very late and was completely exhausted, but the moment I walked into my room the overwhelming smell of mold hit me. Hoping it was just the odor, I checked the bed—it looked clean—so I decided to tough it out.

Next, I went to get some ice, only to find the main machine broken. They directed me to a small tabletop machine, but when I opened it, there was visible mold inside and the scoop was cracked plastic. At that point I thought I’d just take a shower and get some rest. Unfortunately, the bathroom light didn’t work at all. I had to shower with the door open for light.

By morning, things got even worse—roaches were crawling on the floor, counters, and walls. When I reported everything to the front desk, their response was basically a shrug: “Oh well, we’ll let maintenance know.”

This was by far one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve ever had.

I want my money back, rented 2 rooms. Was given room 102 to begin with, reaked of pot, was put into room 110, next morning when I had the lights on in the bathroom there was black mold on ceiling- made front desk guy aware, he informed me, they’ve been treating for mold, and I should have let them know last night, and they would’ve changed my room again- I didn’t know I was responsible to do inspections. The other room that my family stayed in also had black mold on bathroom ceiling. The front guy videos it, took down my number, and said the management will call me- the chairs in the dining area, all stained and dirty. I should have some type of compensation for this. We should not have to pay to spend the night in filthy rooms. The front desk person sent pictures and videos of black mold in both bathrooms.

The lights flickered when we got into the room. The room smelled it felt like a a dungeon. My son was scared. We went and told the manager and the man at the counter that we could not stay here. I was only in the room for 10 minutes. They refuse to give me my money back and didn’t even offer to go check the lights. The manager told me I needed to call Expedia. Not positive but I think it may be used for the oldest profession. At the front desk was a sign that read $150 deposit for Local Customers. Why are there local customers and why a high deposit? Raises questions as to what might be going on. LOL
At the end of the day we had an inexpensive room, we were safe, and we slept well. Bed was comfortable.

We booked the room online around 4pm and arrived a little after 11pm. Our daughter took a shower and came out saying the entire bathroom floor was covered in water. We thought she didn’t put the shower curtain in correctly. Our 2nd daughter took hers and same thing, the water was coming up out of the flooring. Breakfast was ok but the man making the breakfast and attending the front desk at the same time was extremely nice.

The property could use a deep cleaning. Pull up to the property a Car sitting out front of the property with a flat tire then proceeds to go in to the front desk employee 10 minutes to get there with a sign on the desk that says call checked in the elevator was broke. Had to use the steps? I was on the third floor on the second floor. The door handle was missing on the door continued on up to the third floor. No air was on throughout the building. Got to my room had to slam the door. to get it, shut the light between the door and the bathroom where the sink was had one bulb out of three and it just completely shut off on its own. I do not recommend this property to anyone.

This was by far the most disgusting hotel we've ever stayed at. From the mold to the falling down ceilings, the electrical plug missing covers, bathroom shower fixtures that were no longer attached, luke warm water, dirty unchanged bedding that smelt aweful, sex toys left behind the bed. Coffee maker still filled with moldy coffee. I could keep going and provide pics but whats the point, these owners clearly dont care

It is hard to find a good thing to say about this hotel. It was very dirty, had missing tile in the room, lack of upkeep and maintenance throughout the room. The room was humid and damp in the room. The breakfast options were very limited and included sausage "chips" as the sausage patties had been on the warmer so long - probably leftover from the day (or days before). However as bad as all of that - there was black mold in the room! This hotel should be inspected by authorities and closed until maintenance is addressed and the hotel has a deep clean.

Plaster is missing from ceiling in the main room. There was a BIG chunk of plaster missing in the bathroom. Immediately above the air conditioner there was a large section of plaster separated from the wall. The whole hotel needs to be refurbished. The carpets in the hallway were very dirty and looked as if they had not been cleaned in a while. The breakfast was sketchy...there were muffins in wrappers which had no writing on wrapper, and no label beside them, so you had to guess. The apple juice was good.
THe hotel had a smell, like incense had been burned in the office or in the hallways. My recommendation is JUST SAY NO!

This is an old hotel in need of some serious upgrades. Our first room had a tv that did not get a signal so we were moved. Other than that that room was fine. The next room they put us in was ok. It had two fewer lamps than the first room. One outlet was not secured to the box but it worked. The room smelled nice and the AC worked good. The breakfast was way under par. However for the price and location this place hit the mark. $70 verses the others at $135 and above was a plus. If you want a cheap decent stay this is your place.
