Blood stains, yellow stains, and holes in the bed covers. When we pulled back the blankets (with the hotel front desk guy in the room with us) there was literally lose dirt in the bed. He said the cleaning staff was new.
We switched rooms and found the same conditions but also bugs in the sheets.
I was so grossed out.
They would not refund our room.

The area hall smelled like smoke, the carpet was tattered/frayed at my door. Ned and pillows felt older like the room.
Location is great… walked to get food at nearby restaurant but felt slightly unsafe part way due to some sketchy “guests “ on property.

no matter what we did neither we nor the staff could connect any of my devices to the internet. We connected to the motel wifi with no problem, but the wifi did not provide any connection to the internet. Additionally there were tiny flies in the room, and I killed a centepede in the room. And the I could not change the channel on the TV. The only buttons on the remote that worked were the power and volume.

The person as the front desk was very friendly, but it did not make up for how the place was taken care of. The towels, carpet, and bedspread was stained and the sink did not drain very well. It is a great location, but they really need to just do the basic things of keeping it clean.

While the mattress was exceptionally comfortable, the best mattress I've slept on in any inexpensive motel, the rooms were not very clean. If you're looking for a great mattress to rest on for the night, and don't care about cleanliness as much, for the price, you can't beat this place.

Last visit was wonderful with a clean, quiet room and I reviewed it as such. This visit was completely different. Bathroom was gross, toilet dirty, light/fan over shower didn’t work, bed spread dirty, end table sticky, chair needed to be replaced. Good things on this visit I can mention was the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. We were only staying one night so I didn’t complain to management as I should have but I would not likely stay again unless I was able to inspect the room before I pay.

2 pros: location and quiet. Cons: furniture in terrible condition, not only banged up but hinge on door broken so couldn't even shut the dresser. Fridge so noisy made sleeping difficult, mattresses so soft I had to take pain killer for my back and legs, thick dust on much of the furniture, pillows were old, sheets were stained, carpet was dirty, no clock, no telephone in the room. towels were thread bare. The whole place was run down and management make itself scarce. Will not stay there again. I felt dirty the whole three days we were there.

We stayed in the Mustang inn in Paducah Kentucky. And the best way I can explain the state of the hotel and the room itself is far below passable standards. There was half cleaned up and very old vomit three doors down from my room, the room smelled strongly of cigarettes and it never went away. There were a couple small bugs in the bathroom and stains on the bed and towels, hair in the bed as well. It was a nasty place.

Immediately upon opening my room door I noticed a urine smell throughout the room along with stains in the carpet. Went into the bathroom, noticed mold on the ceiling where the shower is. Noticed mold all over the shower curtain went into the living area noticed mold on the walls cracks in the walls, outdated furniture, but most of all the smell of urine was overwhelming. Went to use the bathroom, and the toilet seat was broken went to wash my hands and the plunger that goes into the sink was stuck in the sink so I had to wash my hands in the bathtub along with brushing my teeth. Told the associate at the front desk about the situation after handing him a filthy washcloth that was placed for me to use. He came into the room and started spraying deodorizer onto the wall onto the carpet onto the AC unit to mass the smell of urine. At that point I should’ve left but after driving 13+ hours and not getting much sleep from the night before I was totally exhausted and just wanted to close my eyes. I ended up not taking a shower, changing into my clean clothes and sleeping on top of the sheets fearful that there might be something else. I don’t want to see if I were to remove them to sleep under them. This hotel is disgusting. I would never recommend anyone stay here ever a better option would be sleeping at a rest stop in your vehicle.

The room was as clean as it could be , but the furniture was shabby. A/C worked great, but the room didn’t have a coffee machine, or hair dryer, and no amenities in the bathroom other than a single bar of soap. we could smell cigarette smoke, even though it was a nonsmoking room. The only complaint I have regarding the inside of the hotel is the very strong smell of cigarettes. Everyone smokes right outside of the door and when the door opens it comes on in and carries into the halls. I’ve stayed here many times and this was the worse it has been. The outside could use some grass instead of weeds, but I guess that would raise the price.

Upon walking up to the front of the hotel, it was hard to ignore the glass front door was laying on the sidewalk. That set the tone for my stay, which lasted exactly six minutes. The young man at the front desk was very friendly, but I’m afraid that’s the only positive news I have. The lobby smelled pungent from a combination of cigarettes and some kind of spicy food. The hotel is advertised as smoke free, but my room smelled like a dirty ashtray. I immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a different room, and the young man quickly gave me a different room. Sadly, it was smelly, dirty, had debris on the bed, hair and dirt in the tub and sink, and nearly every piece of furniture was damaged. I made the decision to leave and find another hotel.

I booked this room based on the 8.6 score on Expedia, but after “experiencing” it for six minutes, I feel like Expedia may have misplaced the decimal point. This is honestly one of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever stepped foot in, and I would rather sleep in my car than stay overnight in this place.

The entire hotel had an old musty, unclean smell to it. The bath linens were greyish and very rough, the shower gel was empty, and it just had a grungy appearance. We tried it of course because of the price, but it had 8.5 stars. We were traveling and tired and didn’t talk to management as we only were there from about 9 pm until we got back on the road at 4 am. Wouldn’t stay again. Too bad, we like supporting the little guys

It was so bad we actually didn't even end up staying. The first floor reeked of smoke and who knows what else. The second floor smelled like pure cat feces, one of the rooms the toilet was running when we got there and when brought it up to the staff they said we don't have a maintenance person right now, is it a problem? There was one car in the parking lot and it appeared the people were living primarily in their car. Literally left and didn't even try to get a refund. We were initially put in a room that clearly smelled like smoke. My wife asked that we be moved to a different room. The first room they showed her smelled strongly like dog poop. The next room was fine, and we were grateful that the staff helped. The hallway smelled like smoke, which was not good. Our room wasn’t made up in the three days we stayed. Otherwise, it was walking distance to places to eat and conveniently close to our son’s apartment.

All that said, you get what you pay for. It was very inexpensive, so it saved us a fair amount of money.

It was $77….it had homeless out front talking gibberish. It had dirty hallways . One of the beds had a public hair and poop stain. So no, it wasn’t a clean bed. No, they didn’t seem to care or refund, discount or nothing. For $77 we were fine with no breakfast or pool. We just needed a good shower and cleaned after a long travel day. As my husband said: no more $77 hotels. Shower was good. Everything else iffy.
Don’t do it. There were all these good reviews and I don’t know why. If it hadn’t been 11:30, we would have went elsewhere.

The only thing that was nice was the guy who checked us in. We reserved 2 rooms for the night. 1 room smelled so bad we could smell it as soon as we opened the door. We were given a new room but about 20 minutes later they tried to give the room to someone else who refused to stay in it also. Bedding, pillows & towels were badly stained. 1 bathroom had mold on ceiling, the other looked like it hadn't been cleaned with hairs & toothpaste in sink. We didn't want to stay but it was late when we checked in after a long day on the road & rooms were not refundable. Didn't sleep well, felt so gross sleeping there. Got up early & back on road. Sometimes paying less for rooms is not worth it!

The place is absolutely filthy. I mean it’s disgusting to the point of being very uncomfortable. There were stains on everything the sheets the comforter of the blankets the walls! There were dead bugs. They were even alive bugs! This place is gross absolutely freaking gross. Usually I would say something like you get what you pay for but this place should be about $20 a night. That would accurately reflect how awful it is.

You need to take this hotel off you listing site! The room was absolutely filthy!! We booked for a non-smoking room and it smelled of smoke and dirt. The soap dish in the bathroom had mold; the toilet had toilet paper in it; a washcloth when opened had black stains; sheets had stains; the floor and wall outlet behind and along the nightstand was caked with dust and filth. We told the check-in people we could stay. They printed an invoice with a credit for the amount charged to our credit card. Now 7 days later we have no refund on our cc and they insisted that we call our bank because they cannot credit a refund?? Makes no sense! Not sure how in the world they are still in business and why they have good reviews. We have always trusted Hotels.com and have had wonderful experiences with the hotels we choose to stay at. Please consider removing them from your site. Thank you

Our room floors were not vacuumed, the bathroom had someone else’s hair all over it (back of toilet, tub, floor-gross). The lightbulb in the lamp was unscrewed. Our mini fridge did not work. Hallways all smelled like smoke. Booked because it said breakfast included—no breakfast included. Oh and on top of that, very poor attempt at snow removal and it was slippery in the parking lot.

The main thing that we appreciated was the quiet! We came in late both nights we stayed at the Mustang - it was an overnight break in a long drive to and from family - and the hotel was so quiet! The bed was comfortable and the blackout shades worked great. HVAC was quiet and functional. The parking lot was fine. There isn’t a breakfast on offer right now (they are in process of joining the Sleep-Inn brand) but the fridge and microwave were handy. The bathrooms in each of our ground floor rooms were vintage tile that looked new. Great water pressure! Friendly staff.

First room had toothpaste on the vanity from the previous guest. They moved us to another room. That room had bugs in the sink and crawling near the refrigerator and on one wall, had hair in the tub and between the toilet tank and seat, the toilet seat was loose and moved all over, the heating unit made a scraping noise. Expedia rated this hotel as 8.8 out of 10. Google rated it 2.5 out of 5. We feel that some amount of reimbursement is in order. We believe that we were misled!

Anyone giving this place good reviews must be a bot or an employee. We chose to stay here based on the reviews and were completely misled. The first red flag should’ve been the burnt-out sign light—everything went downhill from there.

Within minutes of checking in, we saw multiple cockroach-like bugs crawling around both our room and our kids’ room. The sheets were visibly stained and clearly hadn’t been washed. The bathroom was beyond disgusting, with black mold growing in both the shower and on the ceiling.

This place was filthy and completely unacceptable. Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room was very clean and a good sized room with a couch and chair. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very nice and accommodated any request that I had. The only issue that kept me from giving 5 stars was that I felt that some of the people staying there were regulars living their full time and it felt very shady. Someone left empty beer cans lying around the exit of the building. They were cleaned up when I arrived back later in the evening so I felt confident that the staff will not put up with that type of behavior. I do think they care very much about the people in and around their hotel.

There were great restaurants all around the hotel and a shopping center near by.

I picked this motel because it had an excellent rating, not sure how it got that. The cost was low and so I managed my expectations. At best it could be described as adequate. The room was NOT properly cleaned, long hairs on the pillows, stained towels, dried whatnot on the desk counter and stained and torn sheets. If I had put any food in the luke cool fridge, it likely would’ve gone bad. The carpet was not one to walk on barefoot and the sink was VERY slow to drain. Had to have staff come fix the tv as cables had been unplugged. I asked for additional sheets and travel with my own pillow, this and that I was very tired, were the reasons I stayed. Staff was very nice, and you can tell they are trying, but I recommend you spend another $25-$35 and go somewhere else.

At a rate of $60 per night I got what I expected. The exterior signage was damaged and burned out and several parking lot lights weren't working. The lobby was clean, the staff welcoming and checking in was quick and easy. The room was pretty clean. It smelled of smoke which seemed to be coming from a heavily stained chair in the room. Suggestion.... get rid of the broken lamp and filthy chair that no one will sit on. The shower had two bars of unwrapped, previously used bars of soap and a large clump of black hair stuck to the wall. The drain in the sink was clogged and drained slowly. We slept well considering the high traffic area.

Room had a faint smell of old cigarette smoke but was only slightly noticeable. Middle access hotel door was rigged in the unlocked position with zip ties. Overall, the stay was a great value and I would consider staying here in the future.

Had to request hand towels and was clothes. There was hair in the bathtub. And worst of all there were so many gnats in our room. We were so glad we just had one short night there

Good: comfortable mattress and pillows. Clean sheets and hotel room and bathroom.

Bad: Incredibly loud air conditioners. Even when mine was off I could hear the A/C unit in the next room. Sink and bathtub didn’t drain properly.

This place was just ok. Staff was friendly when checking in. But the room had coins left on the floor, which makes me question if it was vacuumed. Bathroom towels felt damp and there weren’t any washcloths.
