It’s an old motel however very comfortable beds.
The room was very clean however due to the color of the vinyl flooring which looked spotless until you walked on it with barefoot or with white socks. Then they turned black.
I bought a mop and scrubbed the floor since we were there for 3 night.

I like the property and the people that work there but I wasn't happy when I would be sleeping during the day because of sickness and I wasn't at work and every time someone would come the dog would do nothing but would bark and that was a nuisance so I decided to go on somewhere else through your company but otherwise not they were very kind and nice and I definitely would stay there again but I would request a room next to a person who doesn't have dogs.

Should have done better research before booking

There were no food options. The description leads you to believe that there is a pool and other amenities that simply are not available. The property is not well kept, there was a smell to the room and it wasn't very handicapped accessible, the stand they have to hang your clothes in also hold the TV and it was in the way I about knocked it over several times, the bed were hard and uncomfortable, the air conditioning barely worked. Overall I will never stay at this hotel again

Nice location, in need of an update and cleaning.

This hotel in a very unsafe neighborhood. We were warned by the Hardee's waitress. We had no problems but were glad of the forewarning. Place is in need of an update but not as clean as it could be. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect for our stay.

I only expect the basics from Econo Lodge but was disappointed that this location didn't meet that standard.

The card key to my room didn't work. After checking with the front desk, I learned the lock on my room needed to be re-programmed. It took nearly 7 hours! Every time I left my room, I had to have a staff member let me in. The guy who kept promising to fix it didn't show up until almost 10:30 that evening. My friends and I cancelled our evening plans because we were afraid no staff member would be around when we returned. (It was eclipse weekend, so everything around us was booked.)

None of the vending machines worked. Each one had a sign saying items could only be purchased from the front desk.

The sign in front of the hotel was never turned on, which made it easy to miss the turn because one would expect to see the hotel sign at night.

Lastly, one of the guests had the door to his room wrapped in a confederate flag!

I'm glad we were only there for one night. It didn't feel like a safe place to stay!

The room smelled like marijuana , the bed sheets had a whole, we booked the room because we were driving to Florida and had to stop for the night to rest, we left within 30 minutes, there was no way I was going to sleep there with my 3 kids, the smell was just too much.

The room had an overwhelming urine smell, like I was at the zoo in an animal house, The bathroom fan was barely attached to the ceiling and tripped the outlet. Tub leaked and the water came up through the floor and left a puddle out the door. No continental breakfast, only coffee.

I ended up staying two nights here. First room I was put in I pulled back the covers are there were several bed bugs under the covers. I told the front desk and he put me in another room. That room was directly beside of the room that had the bed bugs. He was a nice guy but there were plenty of other rooms. The floors were sticky I walked around the room with my shoes on the whole time. There was dirt in every corner of the room, a bunch of stuff under the air conditioning half butt cleaning. There was a musty smell I couldn’t get to go away. If I wasn’t so far out of town working and having the company put me in places I would’ve moved to a different hotel. The people are very nice just not a hotel I would recommend.

I arrived at the Econo lodge at 11 and wanted to check in early. I tried to walk in office but it was locked I had to pick up the greasiest phone that looked like it got done working on a oil change. The (manager) came to the window and said it’s a $25 extra fee for early arrival I agreed . As I was goin to my room I noticed syringes on hallway floor. I get to my non smoking room . Room smelled like smoke sheets had burn marks . Tv say crooked on table and the bathroom looked like someone urinated and didn’t clean. I tried to call hotel manager and the phone didn’t work. So I went to desk explained what was my issue and the managers face was in distressed he said coke back at 2 and I will have another room ready I agreed. 2 pm comes the manager gives me my key and says please check your room to see if it’s ok . I drove 7hrs and wanted a bed.Room looked good from the door view but the bathroom tub looks like someone’s clean ashtray! Tv didn’t work and what drew the line was really small hairs embedded in the small wash cloths! I went to the desk with the towels and showed the manager. All he said is I’m gonna give you your money back and you can go somewhere else. I said if that’s you customers service yea I want my money back. I told him I’m gonna leave a detailed message review so nobody experiences the night mare I did. He then replied “we deal with you type of people all the time!” I’m sorry if I wanted a clean room. He then told me to F off. Very rude staff! Stay away!

I acquired a room last minute after getting a refund from another hotel. I should’ve stuck with the other hotel.

The first room I was given was looking “okay” as I pulled back the covers to inspect the beds when I saw a cockroach crawling on the pillow and escaping behind the bed.

I instantly went and exchanged the room, but was wary of what I’d find next. The second room didn’t have any bugs that I saw, but I was already unsettled and pulled all of the bedding off (except the fitted sheet) and slept fully clothed on top all night.

The rooms themselves were quite beat up and in bad shape even for a lower-quality last-minute hotel. The furniture was old and badly worn, the walls and ceilings had stains and dirt everywhere, and the floors / bathroom were also passable at best. I didn’t feel comfortable walking around barefoot.

I was uncomfortable with the whole vibe at this hotel. The parking is mostly in the back and is relatively limited, but there are constantly people outside of their room with their doors open smoking weed and blasting music, watching everything that’s happening. There was a group of 5 late-teens / early adults just roaming around the parking lot when I got there.

Got my anxiety worked up and woke up at 2:30a with a vivid nightmare that someone had broken into my car. Had to go out there and check to appease my nerves.

The last hotel I got refunded because I found a bug that ended up being a stink bug. That was a better choice.

Don’t do it!

This motel had a good rating—maybe years ago, but not now. The flip over latch on the door was not secure. The room was fairly clean for it’s worn out condition. There were cigarette butts on the sidewalks. Sadly, we had prepaid or I would have left.

Roaches, roaches, roaches everywhere, dead and alive. Unfortunately everywhere else was booked so we picked this spot just to spend the night passing through. The air didn’t work good, the beds were hard, the pillows were flat. Got up this morning with a roach crawling on the bed. There was a 1/2” gap at the bottom of the door. The tub was backing up during shower. Told the front desk and was still charged for the room and the lady said I will let them know and walked away. Even if they had knocked half off that would have been better than the $87 they charged.

The owner and his family run this place and was an absolute pleasure. He took care of any issues and kept the place clean and welcoming. This place meets your needs for traveling and the pool was maintained beautifully. They cleaned the room every other day and fresh towels daily. (Most hotels during this pandemic do not clean rooms and towels are hard to get) That was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated!!! Wonderful place to stay. You can’t beat $54 a night and kind owners.

To be a newly remodeled Hotel this place was filthy. The floors have not been swept nor had they been mopped the bathtub was dirty and they have bed bugs. When I arrived on location they then asked me for a cash deposit and refused to run my card for it. Do not stay here

Worst experience ever! I wasn’t expecting much for the price and only needed a safe place to sleep for a few hours while traveling, yet didn’t sleep, as I didn’t feel safe. Staff was okay (though she referred to herself as a bouncer), but check-in was chaotic—guests complaining they were out of pillows, rooms were dirty, and a woman with a baby was complaining about a party in a nearby room. The door to my room didn’t close all the way, but I was able to get it locked. It was clean enough, though I was grossed out by little hairs all over the vanity. The room was around the pool area, and that’s apparently where the local vagrants like to congregate. I had to call the front desk twice and almost called the cops, and I got absolutely no sleep.
