The rooms here are quaint, the roof bar lovely and the location good but don't stay here if you want a hot shower. No hot water first night - complained. Told it was the boiler and it had been fixed. Next day - no hot water again. Complained and was told it would be \"looked at\". No apology. No reduction in charges. A hot shower is a pretty basic hotel requisite so I was not happy.

I traveled with family and we stayed at this hotel for nearly a week. We enjoyed the friendliness and hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the convenience of the location and the lovely rooftop terrace. The staff was very helpful, polite and accommodating. The only complaint was I booked a room in a building across the plaza that was on the 4th floor with no elevator. That was not in the details of the advertisement. If you have a medical condition or mobility issues, you would have had to check into another hotel as they were completely booked when I inquired upon arriving. My guest counted the steps to the room and it was an amazing 67! Location and staff were great. Marketing...not so much.

This hotel in Rome was truly a gem! The location couldn’t have been more perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it so easy to explore everything. The service was absolutely wonderful, with staff who made us feel so welcomed and cared for. The property itself is beautiful, full of charm and character. While the rooms were small, they were cozy, spotless, and so unique that it added to the whole experience. I honestly loved it so much and cannot wait for the chance to return to Rome and stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone—it made my trip unforgettable!

Staying here made our third trip to Rome our favourite. There were so many standout features.... especially the staff. We we're stranded in Rome because of the Air Canada strike and Valentina did everything she could to move rooms around to keep us in our room. She also alerted us as soon as cancellations were made to make rooms available to us. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made our stay one we already miss. She deserves a promotion because you don't want to lose her! Other notable staff included Edwin, who was enthusiastically helpful and friendly. The other staff were also wonderful but I don't have their names. We loved the location which was close to absolutely everything! The rooms were unique and made you feel like you were truly in Rome. To top it off, the rooftop displays the most outstanding panoramic view of Rome. The hotel became our home in Rome and we would definitely stay again! Thank you.

This was our first stay at this hotel. It did not disappoint. My family had two rooms. Room service was excellent. The hotel was very clean. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient. The best part - the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy views of the city and have a meal or beverage. This was a very unique and special feature and we enjoyed it almost every evening of our stay. Very relaxing after a day of walking.

Excellent option in the heart of Rome. Things to know: this property is located in a Milford access area in Rome so no parking on site and can be difficult to access by car or taxi during the day. We had to park in an offsite parking garage and haul our luggage about 0.3 mile through the cobblestone streets to the hotel. Not ideal but you can’t beat the location , service and history.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment . The apartment was clean and had everything we needed . The negative was that it was up 4 very high flights of narrow stairs w no elevator . It was a hard walk . The apartment was also quite far from the hotel so they was not helpful . I would just stay at an Airbnb since the apartment had no amenities like the hotel would .

Unfortunately, this hotel did not at all live up to the website. The photos they advertise are simply laughable compared to what we experienced. This apartment has no elevator (though online they advertise it), no lights in the hallway or the dark stairway that was creepy at best. Upon entering the room we were greeted with folding chairs and tables as furniture, sheer curtains (when they are supposed to be blackout), and paint flaking off the wall. At 6am on our first night an alarm woke us all up going off. We had to whatsapp the hotel and wait for assistance and help. We learned the gas alarm in the room was going off. The response to this was to simply unplug it and that someone would come by to fix it later. They also said as long as we didn't turn anything on we should be fine, \"should\" is not a reassuring word when gas is leaking into your room. The next Morning the alarm went off again, and the hotel showed no concern and didn't come out to fix it. The hotel staff was often rude and not accommodating. The night prior to our departure our flight was delayed by 7 hours. We asked to change the car we booked to the airport. But Luciano, on staff refused to call the driver because it was 10pm and he might wake him, but it was okay for us to get up early to be picked up at 5am?! Staff refused to help carry our luggage even though the advertised elevator was non existent.

If you want to experience Rome in one of the most central and vibrant areas for the entire city, you cannot go wrong here. The 'apartment' style hotel allowed for you to feel like you were not just visiting, but living in Rome. The side location off of Campo Di Fiori makes the ideal place to enjoy the daily markets and plethora of restaurants but feel secluded to enjoy your family time. The area is bustling all night long BUT the windows (and I don't know how they do it) protect you from the outside noise. THE ONLY issue is to understand that the apartment was on the third floor. If you are not ok with walking steps (that are very uneven from being 500 years old - charming but difficult if you are older), you may want to make sure you are on a lower level. We absolutely loved our stay and this place would be a go-to in the future. You will love your stay here.

The apartment was across the square from the hotel, so didn’t feel connected to the hotel at all. We only popped in once to go on the roof terrace which had great views over Rome, but the drinks were pricey.

The apartment was spacious and suited us well. We were on the top floor so had a good workout going up and down them each day!

Room was amazing! There are beautiful exposed beams and the room is quite spacious and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The only negatives are that there are two bars near the building and you can hear the noisy patrons until late into the night. In addition, you hear the workers preparing for the open market early in the morning. Ear plugs are a must!

We really enjoyed our stay and staff went above and beyond. The location was fantastic and within walking distance of all the sites we wanted to see.
The only negative thing I can say is that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. This was due to two single mattresses being put together. I was awaken throughout the night due to rolling into the crack.

So you walk into the hotel lobby and you check in. Then when you get your apartment room key, you leave the nice lobby and you walk towards a building from the TV show \"Chernobyl.\" It's run down, dark, scary and is no place for children. You walk into the room and the ceilings are low, it's dark and dingy and all I wanted to do was leave. Finally it's time to go to bed. You lay down on the soggiest bed ever made and there's a club somewhere very close to the building and the whole building shakes from 7PM to 1AM. Do not recommend this place.

This is a gem of a hotel and would definitely stay again. The staff are so helpful and courteous and that made our stay so enjoyable. We had a deluxe double room and it didn't disappoint. It had everything we needed, was very clean and the bed/pillows were super comfortable.
We chose not to have breakfast included however there are plenty of local eateries close to the hotel should you wish to have breakfast out.
There are good bus links closeby if needed. All in all would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

We loved our stay! Our room was clean and comfy w small balcony. The staff was phenomenal and helpful in every way. Valentina helped with our booking. It has an elevator and the best rooftop views we could ever imagine. Our only holdback was the lack of plugs. We had to plug in the kettle on the floor and move the end tables to access plugs beside the bed. It’s very convenient to restaurants, market, lively plaza and even self serv laundry. Sooo quiet too!
