בשני בקרים התחילו קדיחות לידנו ב 08:30 בדיוק כשהתעוררנו אז לא היה קריטי אבל יכול להעיר אחרים.

Perfect property for hoi an

Absolutely wonderful stay in the perfect property. The staff throughout were wonderful with both help and suggestions. My wife needed a visit to a local hospital and they were quick to help organize. Location is perfect, close enough to walk but far enough to still be quiet. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Pool was very relaxing. Hope to be back!

This hotel was great. Very clean and very nice staff. They provide bikes that allow you to quickly get into the heart of Hoi An and experience it. We really liked that it was just outside the old city - it felt like a nice retreat while still being close to everything.

This hotel is a little outside the very touristic areas, but still very easy to walk to and much quieter It is super clean and the staff is very friendly and useful. The breakfast buffet is not extravagant but has still many options . There is a great restaurant 3 houses down (Cobbs) that you really need to try. We will definitely go back should we visit Hoi An again

This hotel shoukdnt be rated 4 stars, its loud, the staff was unhelpful when asked about anything and they were incinsistant with the prices when asking to book more nights. The price increased from 630k to 1 million upon asking for one more night. This made my decission to not stay here any longer. It is clear through interactions with the owner of the hotel they are only interested in money and not guest satisfaction. Repeat, not the staff, the staff did their best, it was the owners fault.

It's our second stay here, four years on & it has changed slightly.
Still great Hotel. Had Deluxe Pedicure with Tam best I have ever had.

Only complaint is the laundry, I went to great lengths to make sure they used hangers for some items I even drew a picture!! But still came back folded in laundry bag very creased
Over all still lovely hotel.

Great value for money.

We stayed at this place and their more expensive sister property River Suites and this was much nicer!! The only challenge was breakfast - which was a massive scrum! Too many guests not enough space or cutlery.

A cozy hotel at the edge of Hoi An

We absolutely loved our stay at the Royal Riverside Hoi An. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and has a nice view of the river. It's a quick 10-15 minute walk into town and the rooms were really nice. The service was very friendly and everything was taken care of for us. I highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for something a bit quieter than central Hoi An.

Good: staff was friendly and remembered our names, room was generally clean, bed comfortable. Bad: Location a bit out of the way, room smelled faintly of stale cigarette smoke, they allow smoking in hotel common areas, we had 3 rooms and service was a bit inconsistent amongst them (some people got a turndown service and better cleaning while others didn’t), they tried to charge us twice for a tour that we booked after one of the people in our group had already paid for it. Don’t think that was on purpose but more due to lack of organization and I would have paid it if the person in our group wasn’t next to me to tell me he already took care of it. Room door closers don’t shut the door all the way and there’s an annoying alarm that goes off if the door is not shut so we heard a lot of that. Just get better closers so we don’t have to hear that jarring alarm.

Really nice hotel but the location is not the best

Had trouble locating the hotel because the layout of the road number is odd. It goes from road number 39 to 48 to 56 then to 40, which is the hotel's address. It is slightly far from nearest convenience store.

The place to stay.

Firstly I would like to mention the wonderful staff. From the minute we arrived until our departure they were amazing. All the staff went out of their way to see that we had all our needs met. The extras they did for us also was much appreciated.
The hotel itself is well positioned and only a short walk into the old quarters.
Rooms were spacious, well appointed and beautifully clean.
We enjoyed the pool for a cool down and enjoy a cocktail after our days out.
The meals we ate here were all delicious.
We also enjoyed the cooking class and had fun with the kitchen staff.
I would highly recommend Royal Riverside Hotel going from our experience there.

Honest Staff and nice hotel

I am very happy that the cleaning staff is very honest. When I leave my money pouch in the safe box after I checked out, they alerted me promptly and return me the money.

I stayed in the junior suite and the room has a nice view overlooking the river. The room is spacious and well kept everyday. Their swimming pool is quite cozy and inviting.

It is walking distance to the old town and night market.

Just spent 10 days at the royal riverside hotel and it was fantastic my husband has cancer and we just wanted to get away from everything and it was just the place ,,, the staff did not know he was sick and we wanted it that way we are over the pity, but the welcome and the love the beautiful staff gave us was just what the doctor ordered we could not have been treated better we are very well travelled and I can honestly say this place is top of our list ,, don't hesitate if you are looking at this hotel book it you will not be disappointed

We had an excellent stay here at Royal Riverside which is a short walk to town but far enough to escape the noise of the town. Many thanks to Nahn and his staff who looked after us so well, so friendly and welcoming we felt part of the hotel.
Hotel is uncrowded being a boutique size,facilities like breakfast and swimming pool excellent and has a free shuttle to beach to your own private beach with recliners and umbrellas with table service.
Nahn and staff were so great we extended our stay for another week.
Definitely recommend this place.

Hoi an ancient town and all the tourist spots are walking distance within 10-15 minutes. Free shuttle to beach, but the times are limited. breakfast was not great. there's not alot of options.

A little gem in Hoi An

Picked this hotel based on location and reviews and it exceeded the expectations. The location is central, but on a quieter street, away from the traffic noise. The rooms are modern and look recently renovated. Ours had river view and spacious, modern bathroom with shower and standalone bath tub. Very comfortable bedding with good linen. Super-attentive staff. Quality of food in the hotel restaurant is very good, we had all of our breakfasts and a few dinners in the hotel restaurant and they did not disappoint. There is a twice-a-day shuttle to the beach, but we did not use it. Overall, would not hesitate to go back and stay at that hotel again.

Great location and even better staff!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at the Royal Riverside for two nights. The hotel itself is great- the location is amazing (about a 15 min walk to Old Town) and is right by the river. They offer a pick up service from the airport (about 45 mins away) which made it very convenient. The hotel also offers bikes on a first come first serve basis for free or you can even rent a scooter for the day at a very reasonable price. The free breakfast was also nice and convenient for us to fill our stomachs with a little something before heading out. The room was very clean and spacious. However, the best thing about this hotel was the staff- they were SO nice and SO helpful. Phong checked us in and always checked in with us whenever we saw her to make sure things were going well. She even gave us recommendations for food and restaurants to try. We also had a few other of the staff offer recommendations (even at our next stop in Vietnam, Da Nang!) and would small talk with us all the time. Definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go back again :)

Lovely room big bath...fabulous!

My partner and I had a great time at Royal Riverside Hoi An. Nice room overlooking the river a spacious bathroom with a lovely large bath. It was my birthday while we were there and the staff organised a cake with a candle....very sweet! Free bikes to use when available fun option to walking BUT watch out for traffic!!! The only downside would be the distance from the Ancient Town. Probably a 15 minute walk. However it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

A good riverside location - some minor issues

Riverside location approx 10 minutes walk into town. Welcoming and friendly staff. There is a shuttle service to the beach although we did have an issue with the bus not being there for pick up and had to get a taxi back. Good selection of food for breakfast but more could be done to protect the fruit from flies. Nice pool area but couldn't really take advantage of this given the weather. Rooms seem to be serviced late afternoon which is not ideal if returning from the days activities earlier. Overall a good little spot in lovely Hoi An with a few minor improvements needed.

Overall, very good -excellent hotel. Helpful, friendly staff, good buffet breakfast and located in a quieter area a short walk from the busier/ noisier ancient city and marketplace.
Would have given 5 stars but our shower leaked under the door into the bathroom causing us to slip and almost fall on the wet marble floor. It seemed the staff knew the problem exists ( poorly designed shower door which doubles as bathroom door) and looked but did not fix it but provided extra towels to sop up the water.

Pleasant Stay in Hoi An

First of all, we loved our short visit to Hoi An. The Royal Riverside Hotel was an easy walk away from the Ancient Town, where we spent all of our time during our 2 night stay. There is a bit of construction down the street, and they use the street for tour bus parking. It's not exactly a major negative, but nice to be aware of. (It's not a beautiful walk until you reach the town.) The room was comfortable, clean, and a good value, overall. The breakfast was fair- a number of options to suite everyone. If this hotel fits your budget, it's a good choice!

Have been overseas a few times, but couldn't fault this hotel and the staff. If you want to be really spoilt go and stay and find out for yourself. The staff were like family to us. nothing was too much trouble and they arranged all our trips and even got the same guide each time we went out. There are lovely views from the front looking over the hills and river, each day it looked different. They really looked after us.

Easy distance to Da Nang city. Wonderful friendly staff who arranged whatever we wanted from taxis to trips to choice of food in the hotel resturant and advice when needed. Excellent pool complex.

I was hoping that this was a bit closer to the walking streets, but it was close enough -- about 8 minutes. The staff here were very, very hospitable, which was too much for me. I don't like having to have a cordial conversation about my day's events every time I walk through the lobby. Perhaps others would like that. The pool is by far the best thing about this place, and I'd rank it up there as one of the best I've stayed at at a small hotel. The restaurant staff was again too nice for my liking, who need to learn to be more efficient when at the table instead of visiting it once every minute for an individual task. Breakfast was dependable with tastes for both Western and Eastern guests, complete with egg/noodle station.

It made our trip enjoyable

The hotel's location is perfect! It's situated in a quiet neighbourhood, with only 5 minutes walk to the tourist centre - the Hoi An old town. The decoration in the lobby, restaurant, pool, room were consistent and all added to the relaxing atmosphere in this region. It provides bicycles to borrow, and free shuttle bus service twice a day to-and-from the nearby beach 4km away. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed there for 3 nights, and the lobby staff there would greet us whenever they saw us in a personalised way, so that we almost liked friends now. It's one of the main reasons why we enjoyed our time in Hoi An. We'd definitely want to stay in this hotel again shall we come to Hoi An again.

Very modern hotel with outdoor area and pool, all the staff are fantastic and always smiling, making for an enjoyable 10 day trip to Hoi An, restaurant on site is very good, walking distance (5-10) mins to ancient city.
We cannot fault this hotel it's the best we stayed in at Vietnam

Photos are deceptive, breakfast disappointing

The rooms and pool look a lot better in the photos than in reality. Breakfast was very disappointing, mostly inedible; fruit was not fresh; food in bain maries looked as if it had been there a long time, there were very limited vegetarian options. We moved out before our booking was completed and went to a much better hotel for not a lot more money. I think the photos on Expedia were deceptive and the \"included\" breakfast was below par. In future I will only book a hotel for a couple of nights only in case we get caught out again.

Very Disappointing Experience

I booked at this hotel because of the previous positive reviews, but unfortunately, I had a very negative experience. The booking clearly promised a \"194-sq-foot (18-sq-meter) room with city views\". When I arrived, I was placed in a cramped, windowless room barely larger than a queen bed that stank of cleaning fluid. When I brought this to the hotel's attention, they made an excuse, saying \"we don't have a room like the one you booked\" (as if this was my problem to fix!). The hotel should have immediately offered to refund my money or move me to a different hotel when I walked in the door, but they clearly just hoped I wouldn't notice or wouldn't care. They said I could not be moved to a different room that night because one was not available, and I had to argue quite vigorously to even get them to move me to an appropriate room for the following three nights. I also had to argue to get a very small refund on the prepaid room of just a few dollars, but the manager (Philip) said \"the secretary already took all of the money for the day.\" I find it very hard to believe that a medium-sized hotel doesn't even have a few dollars on hand, and I certainly felt like I was being treated like an idiot, wit the manager hoping I would just forget about his promise. Overall, very disappointed in my stay. I felt very disrespected by management and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Exceeded Expectations

Royal Riverside is an amazing hotel that is a fantastic value. Hoi An is an extremely walkable place and it is very close to Old Town. The amenities of the hotel were ones I would expect in a much higher price point hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, getting to know us by name during our stay. Highly recommend.

Nice stay in Hoi An

The hotel was very comfortable to stay at with nice pool and spa services, large room, modern bathroom and decent breakfast services. Was a little to the edge of central Hoi An, however the hotel provides free bike use to get into old town

Not a bad hotel for the price

Location is outside the town so it is very quiet, but only 10 minutes walk along the river into the old town.

Reception and Restaurant staff very friendly and welcoming

Pool area very quiet and relaxing, however the many of the towels are quite dirty and well used.

The breakfast was average, choice was reasonable but quality nothing special.

Overall not a bad hotel and well worth the price

Friendliest Hotel in Vietnam

Customer service at this hotel is fantastic - our check in was done by Hiep and she made us feel so welcome and helped with all of our questions on what to do/where to go.

Every time we walked into the hotel we were greeted by name which doesn't happen in most hotels.

The pool was pretty cool with the chairs in the water and the rooms were comfortable and extremely clean.

Thanks Hiep and the team for a lovely stay.

Nice quiet hotel, short walk from everything

We stayed for 2 nights and i couldn't find reason for complaint, the rooms were large, nice, modern and clean.
The staff were great and the tailors that the hotel member Trong suggested to us ended up being really good - Be Be for suits and dresses and Trong's own shop for shoes. We checked around and they gave us a good price without the need to haggle for ages.

The hotel is a short walk away from the main hubbub (10-15 mins), but I am glad we stayed here. Even though we were there in the shoulder season I could imagine Hoi Ann manic in peak season,and just being that little but out makes a difference. Friendly and helpful staff ensured we started in the right for direction for whatever we asked of them. Happy to stay there again.

Hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one: they remembered our names and happily dispensed advice. Facilities were good. We found out on the last day that guests could access gym and larger swimming pool at nearby hotel. Location I'd close to town centre.

Nice hotel - a bit far from the action!

Nice hotel with comfortable and reasonably sized rooms. Riverfront rooms are preferred. Friendly staff. Good selection for breakfast. It is a good 15 minute walk from the centre of Hoi An, which became a bit frustrating (and hot) if you stay for more than a few days. They do have some bicycles available (but need to secure fairly early in the day). Housekeeping generally good but did miss re-stocking toiletries on a couple of occassions.

A Refreshing Experience

Very nice staff who gave us down-to-earth and friendly advice regarding tours, Hoi An and our itinerary in general. The location of Royal Riverside Hotel is perfect, in that it is 10 - 15 minutes walk away from the Ancient Town, having the privilege of convenience and silence at the same time. Laundry service is unparalleled (50,000vnd/kg) for its price and quality, and all other hotels we stayed in Da Nang and Hue were outrageously more expensive (e.g. 30,000vnd for a pair of socks). Breakfast offered a fair variety of choices and the environment of the restaurant (with the option of sitting outdoor or facing the swimming pool) was relaxing. Overall it is a refreshing experience, and I highly recommend anyone staying in Hoi An to give it a try.

Great 4 star hotel with 5 star service. Staff and front desk personnel go out of their way to please you. Located in a quiet part of Hoi An yet only 10 min walk to the old town.

Fantastic hotel.

We loved our 3 nights stay at the Royal Riverside Hoi An hotel. We had a very comfortable modern and spacious room with the river view. All the staff were really friendly, always asking about how our day was and willing to help. Breakfasts were great quality, and for relaxation there was a nice swimming pool. Location is good, some 10 minutes walking (or you could ride a free hotel pushbike) to the old town, shops and restaurants. This was our relaxation stage of the holiday, and we loved it.

10 min walk to hub. Nice hotel.

This hotel was wonderful. Great service with airport transfer not costing too much. Its about 50 min from airport. The hotel is about a 10 min walk into the hub where restaurants etc are. HoiAn is a beautiful place. The rooms are spacious and comfy. Bikes available to peddle around. Hoian is a great place to have suits and dresses made. Beware of hotels recommending tailors... Bebe tailors are the most expensive at $50 US a shirt. I had a dress made by a street side tailor foe a third of the cost i was quoted at Bebe. .. And it was perfect. This was a lovely hotel. Nice pool and sufficient breakfast included.
