Very nice 4-night stay. Marriott hotel is located just outside the walls of Toledo’s old-town, but actually that was a plus because from we were able to appreciate a panoramic view of the entire city. Bus 71 will get you into Toledo Casco Viejo in 5 minutes for just €1.30. The staff at this hotel, especially Diego, at the reception desk, and Teresa, at the breakfast restaurant, were outstanding with their hospitality and service.

The hotel balconies provided an excellent view of Toledo. The rooms were comfortable with Spanish accents. The hotel lacked technical sophistication with spotty wi-fi and a lack of outlets at the desks to get power to the computers. In fact, we tried to connect our computer to the outlet under the desk and the entire outlet came out of the wall. Please note, that there are no restaurants near the hotel that have reliable hours. Besides all that, we had an enjoyable time and appreciate the helpfulness of the staff. Also, the breakfast was excellent.

Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Feel and look of a boutique hotel but not quite hitting the mark in many areas. Evening food was really delicious but options were very limited with no suitable options for vegans and only one salad and one sandwich suitable for vegetarians. No options suitable for young children. Breakfast was nice continental but limited savoury options other than meat, egg and cheese and no suitable dairy free options. The room was nice but no hand soaps etc and the food was very dusty. We also had a beautiful terrace but this was not well maintained and the floor very dirty. Would stay again if visiting the city as location and views make up for it but would make other arrangements if you follow vegetarian/vegan diets or have allergies

For an old property, there was a lot of character and was perfect for visiting Toledo. Amazing view of the Alcazar of Toledo and quick access to the old city. The front desk made a great recommendation for tapas and call a cab for us (about 7 euros). Parking was easy to access. The room was beautiful and had a very hot shower. If it hadn’t been raining, we’d have spent more time on the balcony. My wife and I will be happy to select this property if we were to return to Toledo.

Brief, but wonderful, stay

It was a wonderful property. Very clean, beautiful setting, convenient to town, and helpful staff. The views of Toledo from the property at night were stunning. The front desk attendee provided helpful suggestions for dinner and we were thrilled with her guidance. We had a quick stay but came away very impressed. Would recommend to others and eagerly return if in the area.

The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. We had rented a car from Madrid so the parking at the hotel was convenient. Staff helped us with recommendations and getting us a taxi to go into the city instead of the using the car as parking inside the old town is difficult.

Love the location just outside the old city centre. Short taxi drive to all the major tourist areas. The property is rustic and you feel a part of the ancient environment. Property is very clean and the room had a private terrace with outstanding views. Free and available parking on the hotel property was important to us. Awesome!!!

An enjoyable stay

Overall we enjoyed our 2 nights here. The room was clean but the patio needed a good brush. The prices for the mini bar and hotel bar were very competitive, unlike many hotels! Perhaps reception could volunteer information about bus times (the stop is right outside the hotel). It is a good 35 minutes walk into the old town so the bus is needed on hot days.

It was ok. I left a bag behind with all my cardiac medication and my husbands mobile phone. I rang as soon as I realised. I aske if it could be posted to my present hotel as I am not well enough to drive. I was told I have to arrange. I have tried 4 companies. Chef Ruben here at the AC Cuidad Marriott is magnificent. He transmit his culinary art to palatable delights. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean. The particular room we stayed in, although clean needed to be updated as the bathroom granite countertop is old, worn and cracked. One would expect more from a Marriott Hotel.

Quiet and away (7 mins drive) from the old town

View is good, location not bad. Hotel restaurants & hotel bar closed, even the nearby restaurant closed because of Monday. So the only way to have dinner is drive to the old town and crowd with travellers, or get a can of beer and pop corn from hotel lobby.

Good air conditioning. We were upgraded which was appreciated. Nice terrace which we made use of when the sun went down. Could have done with a clean though and our windows were filthy.
Very uncomfortable bed and any movement in the tiled hallway outside was very audible. For a completely isolated hotel sleep quality was extremely bad. Breakfast was very poor. Little selection and no cold platters or chiller. Cheese was ‘sweating’ so we avoided the warm cold cuts of meat. Yogurt looked as if it had curdled. In the reception was a large cooler with cold drinks for sale - so why no cooler for the food? With August temperatures in Toledo not very hygienic. Hotel is about 30 minutes walk outside town. We had read that a bus stops outside the hotel but discovered this bus only runs every hour. Also no covered car park. We have been travelling in Spain for 10 days and this hotel was by far the most expensive and the most disappointing. I would not recommend staying here. There are plenty of good hotels in Toledo.

Great hotel outside the town

Stayed here for a couple of days over the New Year en route to Portugal. A little out of town but a nice hotel. There is a tourist bus stop right outside the hotel. Staff fantastic - friendly and helpful. Beautiful views of Toledo from the room. But as our room was the nearest to the lounge/bar area, you could here everything going on out there. Ate in the bar one night and was really impressed with the quality and standard of the food. I would recommend this hotel and visiting Toledo is a must but make sure you have good walking shoes !

Older hotel across the river from the old town. Nice and quiet. Very few choices to eat in the neighborhood. View of the old town from some areas of hotel and some rooms, better view along the road to the hotel. Parking is in a lot below a flight of stairs to the front entrance; though one can park in the bus stop outside the front door to load/unload luggage. Few places to charge devices; wifi OK. Too far to walk to old town (especially considering hills), and bus rather infrequent at least on Sundays. But a short drive to city center.

Noisy and over priced for what you get

Stayed last minute as the hotel had parking and we were struggling to find a car space in the centre of town so it was good for that but very over priced in comparison to other similar hotels in the area. Would not stay again, felt like all they wanted was your money. Woken early and kept awake by groups of tourists.

Fab stay at the Marriott, Toledo, 🇪🇸

As a small group of friends westayed here in June 2018 attending a local sporting event. The hotel was a brilliant, it’s location (with parking) a 20 minute walk into the old town was ideal. However, what made this stay was the excellent staff - the front desk girls were incredibly helpful, the maintainence man lent us a scewdriver (and screws) to helps us of a fix with some of our sporting kit, the spchef in the evening was great and the lady at breakfast a real pleasure. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel. It had everything we asked for. The staff were very friendly and informative, the location perfect...although a little away from the centre it has a very good bus connection and is a quiet resting place after the sight seeing of the day. A lovely older style hotel with fantastic views over Toledo. It is only a 15 minute walk downhill into the city and then about 20 mins back, as it's uphill, but not a problem if you take it sensibly.

Paradise Lost!!

Very comfortable, hospitable hotel totally spoiled by arrival of large, nnoisy, disruptive, poorly supervised school party on second day. We were surrounded by boisterous loud youths, knocking on doors along our corridor, yelling abuse at each other, throwing things from their balcony to the one below with no adult supervision in evidence. After a while we organised a very inconvenient change of room. This seemed to help in the short term but we were then kept awake by identical behaviour into the small hours(2am) as the group had congregated in a public area below that to whicjph we had been moved. At breakfast there was insufficient crockery available because of the size of the group and we had to use our own travel equipment.
