The rooms are alright. We have been here for 3 weeks. They advise breakfast but haven't had breakfast. If you have an extended stay you don't get breakfast. While extending my stay another week was told three different prices 1st being $525 for a week for single room when i was paying was told $600. After asking why the $75 difference, was advised it was tax. However, after saying i would have to think about it he gave me the room for $550. Also they changed mattresses in multiple rooms when all the workers for the power plant started staying. Afterwards, i woke up with bites all over me. Tried to say something about it and they did nothing.

The room was clean but no drain plug to take a bath, the drain closure for the sink was broken, bath towels were extremely small, no TV channel guide to help find local channels, breakfast was skimpy and had to ask for more fruit to be put out, gnats and fly's were a problem around the sink area.

When my workers got there at 9pm, the hotel employee/manager/owner, not sure of his position, told my workers that hotels.com doesn't charge enough and made them pay an extra 60.00. They had traveled from Oklahoma and were very tired and ready for sleep so they paid him. I called hotels.com and they told me they contacted the property and that the 60.00 was a deposit. I called the hotel back and he told me he was never contacted and they would not get it back. Very disappointed in hotels.com because I have reserved thousands of hotels and they were not truthful. And obviously will not stay at this hotel ever again.

Upon first arrival we were greeted by the kind staff. We booked a king size bed, but were given two queens. Not very useful for husband and wife, but this stay was only for one night so not a huge complaint. The room was very musty smelling when we first walked in. It got gradually better after running the A/C for a couple hours. Very thin walls. Could hear what sounded like kids running around above us, and people going to breakfast very early in the morning. The furniture in the room was worn & torn. Overall, not my favorite place to stay, but it did in a pinch and we felt relatively safe to stay the night on our road trip.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the tv not working, but the guy on nights offered to get it fixed quickly. The free breakfast included waffles, frosted flakes, raisin brand, toast and jelly. I had to ask for them to fill the waffle batter and turn the coffee on. The juice machine wasn't working. Breakfast was skimpy, but they were polite about fixing the waffle batter and coffee. Saved us from stopping for breakfast. For the price, we'd stay there again.

My wife arrived before i did Ana the gave her a key but not the credit card. So she shut in room until i arrived shy i could sign the papers. So she got pretty hungry. Waiting to go by did with the card. And it's getting late not much open after 8 in this little town. But other than that. Good

First of all I reserved a King Bed. When i got there i found out i was given queen beds. I should have been told this upon my arrival, but was not. My room had no hot water. When I called I was told the hot water should be good because no one else had complained. The employee came and checked it, and it was working. The next morning same thing. I believe they cut the hot water heater down to save money.. The refrigerator was frozen over. Beds were hard as rocks. Very few towels in bathroom. Only 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. Lamps were unplugged and with a blind husband and me with a bad back it was hard for us to get them plugged up. Cannot recommend this place.

Property was sold and between buyers. No service. Coffee pot leaked all the water out on the counter and did not work. Room wasn’t cleaned after check in. Ice machine barely worked. Old air conditioning units laying around property and in vending room. Worked for what I needed, but had far better experiences for the price. Maybe new owner will make improvements.

Only room on lower floor was handicapped that didn’t have a table or desk to sit at. Staff cooperated and had a chair brought in for me. Staff were very obliging. Bathroom only had one of four lights working so very dim. Glad I don’t wear makeup. I parked with my cargo trailer right in front of building since not many people staying and staff told me I could park anywhere.

When we first got there to check-in they were asleep at 10:30pm and had a “Closed” sign up. They had a number to call, but when I called no one picked up and it kept saying no one was available on the voice message. I rang the doorbell and a lady finally came up with a terrible attitude asking why I was ringing the doorbell because they were asleep. She declined to check us in and told us that she would call the police if we didn’t leave. She asked me to apologize, and even after apologizing and asking her if she could check us in because I had a baby in the car and had driving for many hours, she still declined. This was the worst experience I have ever had with Expedia, they should not be working with Expedia if they are going to be asleep and declining customers at 10:30pm.

I am disputing this charge. What a disgusting motel and the staff was not helpful and looked like drug users. We stayed at this place due to a wide power outage in East Texas on 6/17/23. We would have felt safer in our truck. Seriously, the A/C, internet, and coffee pot did not work plus, multiple flies in the room. No towels. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed at and I travel for business for over 23 years. How can I get a full refund?

Got to the room and key did not work. Finally got in and room was dinghy. Toilet stopped up when used. When I advised the desk I was handed a plunger! The bathroom sink and shower also didn’t drain very well. Breakfast was pretty much nonexistent. Only had a waffle maker and a coffee machine. The juice didn’t work. Not much choice of hotels so I hope I don’t have to go through this town again. Don’t know how they have the ratings they do!

This was fine. Main benefit for us was location. We were tired and needed to stop for the night. Room smelled like smoke. Smoke detector was missing off wall. Sheets were scratchy and pillows lumpy. Comforter had burn holes. Shower curtain was stained and yellowing. Towels were thin small and scratchy .. one was stained. Was woken up twice in the night by loud neighbors. That being said, sheets and towels were washed, there was TP and I didn’t see any bugs as per previous reviews. But For 90 bucks, I expected a bit more. Overall, needs a general upgrade and deep clean. Should have picked the one down the road.

The walls in the room were painted. And the carpet looked new. We arrived 2 hours before check in. I asked if the room was ready. I was told yes, the maid has just cleaned it. She had my bill and roo. Key ready on the front desk. But when we arrived the room had not been cleaned. Dried urine all over the toilet seat. Hair in the toilet, tub, sink where it looked like a man had shaved. Fridge and kitchen and headboard area dirty finger prints everywhere. Shower curtian looked used and had black curly hair stuck in it. I went to the front office to ask for cleaning supplies. She said that room had not been stayed in for a few weeks. I told her the bed was made though. So they made the bed but didnt clean the room? She said she would have her maid clean it. The maid spent 20 minutes in the room. I could see she mopped and wiped down the toilet a little. But the toilet still had pee on it. I choose to go to the dollar store and got my own products to clean again after her \"clean\". I had my 3 children with me and was not in a place to be able to check out and pay for another hotel. This was part of their Christmas vaction present and i was very disappointed. We did leave the room clean and bleached for the next family that stays.

Great check in! Friendly staff. Room was very quite. Pillows not great. Not fitted sheets.
Tub wouldn’t drain. No tissue in room. AC didn’t get super cool but weather cool so it was okay. Stayed Thursday thur Saturday night. Didn’t clean room at all on Saturday so had to go get clean towels. Problem is no one to work and that is everywhere.

Nasty and dirty, no towels, no pillows, no ice because machine was broke, no trahs bags for the trahs can in the room, ac not working and making noise, also noise all night long the people on the 2nd level, no breakfast. when I went to ask for some towels and pillows they only gave me 1 towel and 1 pillow. Trash all over parking lot and around the property. Then when I checked out a lady was nursing her new born baby and she was struggling to print out my receipt. I have stayed there before and never happened this to me before this is my first time I not happy about it. Too bad this is the only hotel near the Tx park.

The smoke detector was missing from my room. The room was dirty. The property looked dirty. It doesn't look like any maintenance has been done in a while. Several lights were out. The manager kept talking about needing to fire the cleaning lady but yet she was still there. And they don't serve breakfast anymore. That was disappointing given that I was expecting breakfast. I've never had a problem here before, but this time was extremely disappointing.

A Big Disappointment

Was surprised to be greeted at check-in with a young lady with lip piecing and tattoos, we got our room key. Made our way through the mess of rolls of carpet, buckets of wall repair and other remodeling stuff. We got to the room (2 adults, 2 kids) only had 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. Picked up the room phone to realize no phone service in the room. I used my cell called the main hotel line at 10 pm only to get hung up on. Called back and it sounded like I woke up the hotel staff. I requested 2 additional towels and some wash rags. Told the lady my husband was down at the check-in window. It was obvious people were living in the hotel. There were several sitting in lawn chairs with canned drinks all around. BBQ grills on the walk-way. Next morning while getting ready I asked my son to turn on the TV and lets find some news and weather to see what was happening. Oh to our surprise no TV service either. TV was working just no cable or anything. Cigarette burns in the bed quilts. If there was another option for places to stay I would certainly look elsewhere. For the price this was a big disappointment.

The room was not vacuumed very well. There was a used bar of soap still in the shower. When i asked for an extra towel. It was brought to the room. But 2 towels were taken at that time. The carpet between the sink and bedroom area was seriously torn and frayed.
