Juanita at the front desk was awesome. She is friendly, helpful and easy to talk with.
The rooms need dehumidifiers. There is so much moisture in the air the bed linens were damp. Everything you sat in the room would absorb the moisture from paper to clothes. Other than that, it was a good stay. Thank you Jaunita for the laughs.

Our room's A/C wasn't working. Called front desk. Maintenance came quickly to repair. In the meantime, we asked for a different room. The replacement room's A/C worked but was extremely loud. The mattress had a big dip in it...very uncomfortable. In the middle of the night, we had no water but was working by 6am. The ice machine near us wasn't working but found another one on the other side of another building. The breakfast was a bag consisting of an orange, fruit juice box, frozen burrito that needed a microwave, and granola bar. There weren't any knifes to cut the orange. We were charged for 2 rooms and was told it would be credited. It hasn't happened yet and we disputed the charge to our credit card. Overall, not a pleasant stay and wouldn't recommend.

There is no drinking water. Guest have to walk a long way from the room to the office.
There is no continental breakfast as posted. They had a grab and go packet which was offered to guest upon request at the hotel office.
This hotel is over hyped and is no where closer to the 8.2 rating. That rating is deceiving. On the scale of 10 I would put this hotel at 5.

Check-In: staff was in a rush to check us in. Not friendly at all
Breakfast: very BAD! It was in a brown bag with a supposed to be frozen burrito but already defrosted; a “fun size container of juice, a fresh orange (size varied) and a small size of granola bar. It was horrible! There is a note on the front desk that says: “As your feedback, we will be giving grab and go breakfast bag. They will be available at the front desk from 7:00am-9:00.” We were applauded especially the burrito. We took the granola bars and oranges and returned the rest to the hotel.
Bathroom: the tiles need scrubbing.

Check-in sollte ab 4 pm sein, ich kam triefend nass an, da ich zuvor im Nationalpark in ein Gewitter geraten war. Mein Zimmer war nicht fertig und ich musste mit nassen Sachen bis fast 5 pm warten. Dann sah ich mein Zimmer, es war deutlich kleiner als die anderen. ich beschwerte mich, wollte in anderes Zimmer. Es hieß, es sei keins frei. Am nächsten Morgen sag´h ich aber, dass etliche Zimmer frei waren. Dann musste ich feststellen, dass sowohl in meiner Bettwäsche als auch im Bad fremde Haare waren. Den Vogel schoss aber das Frühstück ab, es war unter jeder Kritik. Eine Papiertüte mit einen halb gefrorenen Mini-Wrap, kleiner Saft und Orange, Müsliriegel. Hatte 4 Nächte gebucht und wollte nur noch weg.

Solid base location for traveling to the keys / everglades / Miami and wanting to stay on a budger. At ~$110 a night, its a little overpriced. It may have been partially my fault for not asking for a new room, but the bed was terrible and the ac had no option for a fan only (with the loud road nearby, the fan sound helps to sleep). Its a little dated, but nothing terrible. The gazebos in the center of the buildings are nice and stayed occupied. Overall, we would stay again but not for the price.

The hotel is very basic. You enter the rooms from outside - there is no inside hallway. The hotel needs updating, outside and inside. The room appeared clean and was quiet but way too bright at night. I woke up at 3:30am thinking it was morning but it was just because the window was letting in so much light from the security lighting outside. When we woke in the morning and were packing to leave, a small cockroach ran across the dresser holding the very small television. Our free breakfast was a brown paper bag containing a tiny juice box, a granola bar, an orange and a frozen breakfast burrito that had thawed to about room temperature. All this for $162 a night.

The property was nice. The rooms floor could use a good mop. The staff were super friendly! But dont expected traditional or even continental breakfast. You pick up a paperbag w/a juice, very fresh orange, a nature vally bar, & a microwave prepackaged Tino's breakfasts burrito.
The pool looked nice as well, although it was too cold for use at the time.

The best thing to say about this hotel is that it was clean and mostly functional. No frills. No coffeemaker, no clock. Definitely moldy smell in the room.

Rooms have a price tag that kindly informs you about the prices of various things if you choose to take... buy :) them.
Breakfast is a joke, they give you a brown bag with a cereal bar and an old orange. The sign on the doors claims they do it due to customer demand. Right...
The coffee in their lunch room is fairly watered down instant that is dispensed via a big machine into the foam cups.
Didn't try the pool, didn't look clean enough.

But having said all this - to be fair - the room and beds were clean, and fridge and microwave worked, and it offered easy access to the Everglades and to the Keys.

Definitely catfished on the photos versus the quality of this place. It was ‘clean’ as in I smelled cleaning products walking in and there’s no trash, but the rooms, building, etc are old, poor quality, and feels questionable in terms of security. This is a 2 star hotel at best, that is more towards a motel. Check in was all satisfactory, and had no technical problems with the appliances in the room, again, just low quality and would expect to pay accordingly.

Hotel room was great, staff courteous, but there is no continental breakfast as advertised. They hand you a sack lunch- style breakfast with a frozen breakfast burrito, orange, granola bar, and juice box. Should be advertised as breakfast to go. If you don’t care about breakfast, it’s a fine place to stay.

Staff was friendly but I don't know where that picture of a dining room came from, we were told breakfast was in a paper bag - a breakfast burrito, granola bar, piece of fruit and a juice. We saw people walking from the office with bags but we chose to go elsewhere. We tried to have a pizza delivered and were told no because of \"security issues\" that the area was dangerous. We did not feel unsafe but did see some homeless looking people when driving around

One front staff desk person was abrupt. Seemed to be more interested in ensuring rules are not broken than welcoming guests. Other staff was more friendly.
While room appeared clean, the floor released all sorts of black dirt that had our socks and feet covered within minutes. They should look at using a different cleaning solution. The housecleaning staff were very nice though.
Bag lunch for breakfast was horrible. One granola bar, an orange and a juice box. A packaged scrambled egg package was provided which was inedible. Package said to keep frozen and cook for 20 minutes in oven. Received package was at room temperature and we only had a microwave. Did not want to chance a sickness so disposed.

While the room was clean, spacious, and conveniently located near several restaurants, I encountered a few issues during my visit. Upon arrival at 2:50 PM, I was informed that I could not check in until 4:00 PM because no rooms were ready. However, the room I was eventually assigned had a musty smell and a non-functional A/C unit, suggesting it had been vacant for some time.

I had to wait for maintenance to replace the entire A/C unit after check-in. Although the maintenance technician was very helpful, it was disappointing to experience these delays after being told the room was not yet prepared.

Room was out dated, with poor tv reception, yet had comfortable beds and pillows. We booked 2 queen beds and they gave us a room with one king. They told me that they didn’t have any rooms with 2 beds. I had to complain a little bit since we had for people and needed two beds. They eventually shuffled things around and we got a room with 2 queen beds. They advertised continental breakfast and this was not the case they were handing out a brown bag breakfast with microwaveable eggs, granola bar, orange and sugar free juice box. Also they didn’t have coffee and said they hadn’t been able to get coffee beans for a couple of weeks. Not sure how they can’t get coffee beans.

My agreement was , pay at the hotel. When I got there it was charges 3 hrs earlier. This was a Business trip . I wanted to pay at the hotel to turn in my tax exempt form like I do in every other hotel. I asked to get my money refunded, the manager said, they don’t do tax exempt. As far as I know that is the law in the state of Florida. The second day when I came to the room after a long day of work, there was not water, I got not warning or when might it get restored . What they claimed as breakfast is a brown bag with things I would never eat. I do have to say, the room was large, with microwave and fridge. Would I stay here again? not based on the poor service , the room was fine.

Had a noisy refrigerator and bathroom fan after two communications finally got the refrigerator switched from another room. Next morning no breakfast as advertised but did get coffee and a bag with stuff in it. Next day didn’t even get coffee there wasn’t any creamer had to go to McDonalds. Next day didn’t even try and just went to McDonalds and went to check out and the hundred dollars I had to give them for whatever reason when the room was already paid for won’t be supposedly refunded for 10 to 14 business days. The property was fairly nice but we received the furthest away room you could possibly get and needed to drive to the pool. We are on the older side. Just not very happy with the stay and I very rarely complain

The two reasons I'm not rating it excellent, one, the building I was in had very bad wi-fi connection. It kept disconnecting and made it impossible to work from room

Room was rough. First room had a wad of dry hair in the bathtub. We were given another room. This room had some kind of white mildew surrounding the back of the toilet. There as also a noticeable gap underneath the entry door. Honestly, we slept for a few hours and left as soon as possible.

The room was ok and clean enough. One extra star given for the fact that there were no bugs. The beds were comfortable enough but very noisy because of box springs or something that was loose underneath.
The tub definitely did not invite me to soak, however there was plenty of water pressure from the shower head. The phone didn't work and when I tried to call the front desk from the number listed on the phone it was the wrong number.
Front desk help was friendly and accommodating. We saw two different maintenance men while we were there one had to open the safe so that we could use it and the other came to replace a light bulb in the main lamp that had gone out.
The door to the room LED outside and you could see light under the door. It dragged against the door frame and threshold and made lots of noise upon opening and closing. The safety latch on the door did not present itself with providing much safety as it seems like it could have been pulled out by hand if I were strong enough.
This is a budget hotel and I suppose for what we paid it was a good value.

Room was good, the only thing we didn’t like that the sink was adjacent to bedroom with no privacy. Overall we liked the stay in Fairway Inn Miami.

I had an altercation with The maintenance person who didn’t speak English. He twice reached into my car, wants to grab the key and wants to put the other key forcefully down on my thigh. Also, in my earlier day, the refrigerator was turned off and smelled. They gave me a room that was already occupied. One of the rooms that they gave me had a broken heater. I’m staying at this hotel because I have to, and I have no choice. Some of the people like women who worked the front desk are all great, but the manager is aggressive and unhelpful, the maintenance person does not speak English and is physically aggressive, which has led me to consider taking steps and the owner who I’ve contacted by email has not gotten back to me. I like to consider myself a good unreasonable customer, but I never make these kind of reviews. I’m un unfortunate the unable to give a lower than one star rating. Please stay away.

My room was clean and had all the basic amenities. There’s a swimming pool on the property. The place gives more of a motel feel than a traditional hotel since the rooms have exterior entrances. The location is convenient, with plenty of nearby dining options and an outlet mall just minutes away for shopping. At first glance the area looked a bit sketchy. I had to check in through an outside window around 11 p.m. because the lobby was closed to customers. That said, I stayed for two nights without any issues, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
