Do not go by the photos on the app. Those photos must be ages old. The hotel is run down tremendously. No hot water, doors don’t secure properly, everything is old and outdated, the mattresses are lopsided and uncomfortable. The price is way too high for such a rundown down hotel. Should be worth $50-$60 a night.

Maid service was excellent but the room left a lot to be desired.
Wheelchair accessible room but ramp onto sidewalk was several rooms away, no closet space and no hooks to hang anything up. On 2 occasions my room key did not work and I had to walk to front desk with handicapped wife because nobody was available to help. Outlets on wall were not operating and no one responded to fix although the front desk stated that maintenance would respond.
Pool was clean but unused. Room was extremely noisy.

Older hotel, but rooms were clean. Pool was great, breakfast was great and the place had some good quirks, as well as an interesting cross-section of patrons, which everyone might not appreciate. The pace of the staff is little slower than you might expect, but if you're heading down to the Keys, it's not a bad idea to take a deep breath and just go with the slow vibe.

Bed Bugs! My husband and I suffered from many bites. It was very uncomfortable. When I mentioned it to the front desk, he immediately offered partial refund, which leads me to believe they know they have bugs. Otherwise, the housekeeping and breakfast staff was very friendly. The full breakfast delicious. The room appeared clean and there were sufficient towels.

First off the staff was very nice and the grounds were nice. The parking area was ok but the spaces were really tight. The room were worn. The carpeting and the bathroom were in need of being replaced. The strip at the bottom of the entry door was missing leaving about an inch of space and with the entry doors being to the outside anything could crawl in especially with the cute little lizards that are everywhere. We ended up rolling a towel up under the door to keep critters out. The room we booked said 2 queen beds but they are really full size beds much smaller than queen. Expedia rates this a three star hotel but it really is at best a 2 star (more like a motel). All that being said our stay was acceptable but nothing great. The breakfast which was listed as continental was better. There were eggs everyday with a variety of other items. The area around the hotel is just okay.

Although the staff was friendly and helpful, the room wasn't just tired - it was exhausted. The rug and the curtains were stained, the bathroom tiles had significant cracks, the foot of the mattress was higher than the head. On the other hand the TV was new, as were the sheets and the shower pressure was excellent and it was very quiet.

The room was very comfortable with a good mattress and linens. The room was clean, bathroom although small was good (hot water was inconsistent). Staff was very accommodating, polite, and professional. The breakfast was good with the usual fare of eggs, meat, cereal, bread, and drinks. The pool area was very nice with lots of comfortable seating and deck area. Although too cool to swim it was a nice place to sit in the evening and enjoy a cocktail. The hotel is close to many restaurants and across the street is a large grocery store and shops. The street side rooms can be noisy at night and early morning but we had a noise machine which helped. We had daily problems with our door key which did not work. I had to go to the desk 8 times to get new key cards with the front desk person coming to help a few times and even she had difficulties with the key. We observed many people having the same difficulties. The last day we lost audio on our TV and when asked to have it fixed was informed that the person to do that would not be in until 10:00 that night so we had no TV. We decided to check out a day early and the front desk was very accommodating to our request. Even with these small problems I would highly recommend staying here as it was a very nice hotel in a good location and good price.

A few things stood out for me. First, was the check-in process that was seamless. The lady at the reservation desk was thorough, patient, and helpful. Second, my room was as I expected - clean, spacious, comfortable. Third, the grounds provided areas that my wife and I could relax comfortably with some privacy. Fourth, breakfast, although being continental, was full of variety, and finally the check-out process was also seamless. In addition, the staff was friendly and helpful as you would expect.

This hotel is horrible, do not stay there unless you can’t afford anything better. I booked it based on reviews that must not have been honest. I threw away $274 because they would not refund anything. They took a $100 deposit when I checked in and I told the manager it better be refunded. This hotel is a mess, the room smelled like cleaning solution, very strong! The door on the room that led to the outside was paper thin, we definitely did not feel safe. We left and went to the Hilton Garden, it was 100 times better and in a better neighborhood. Our room was on the 4th so we felt very safe!!

Absolutely horrible experience. The bed was so uncomfortable. Our feet were higher than our heads. There was a light that shined into our room and the curtains are so thin that it lit the whole room up. There’s a side road that allows the cars headlights to shine right into the room. The mini fridge was so loud, walls so thin. To top it all off when we woke up there was a bug in the bed. Worst ever. If you decide to stay here do not stay in room 305

I would not recommend this hotel. The whole property is run down. The cleaner used in our room was so strong I had to sleep wearing a face mask. The room smoke detector is brown due to years of smoking in the past and is not operational. Lobby and food eating area were dirty and had an old mattress and boxes etc in it.

We stayed in the Classic Room for one night. The hotel is your typical 1990’s hotel and good for a short stay. The cost per night was decent and under $100. They serve food at a certain time of which we didn’t partake.

The Cons: Slow check-in, the stairs and the curtains used for privacy of the room don’t fully provide privacy when you leave the room leaving some exposure. There are old busted vending machines in the hallways making the place look even more run down.

The pros: Parking, across Home Goods, other shopping and eateries across the Street, close to the main highway, TV was good for streaming, 2 sinks in the room, vending machines in the lobby, bed was comfortable, desk, good amount of outlets.

The stay was decent, so I won’t knock it to much, but they need a good renovation.

The room was clean and nicely updated. However, our bathroom door did not shut properly and if you could get it to shut it was very difficult to open. The heated pool was nice, and we appreciated that the breakfast had protein options (eggs, sausage) instead of just carbs. The paper we were given upon check-in said there would only be a cold breakfast on weekdays, but we had all the same options on Monday morning that we had on Saturday and Sunday.

Parking was simple, although not always available right by our room. The area was quiet enough and is close to many restaurants and stores. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

The room had a terrible strong smell of cleaning products and air freshener which set off major breathing issues! Staff was not very helpful, stating there were no other rooms. When strongly pressed they did find another room which was better, but still had smell. We tolerated it, but WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND!!
