Can't stay with the dirty old carpet smell.

Very old hotel，room with old carpet smell make you feels headache.
Hotel offer showing us three other room all having the same problem (old carpet smell and dirty).

Good thing is free shuttle bus to canton fair. Otherwise cleanliness can be improved, interior was old, and awaken by loud sounds from the bathroom at night during the storm.

Have a very nice one-day stay in this hotel. Although hotel's hardware is not the best, the service is the excellent. Central location and reasonable price. Will stay again in next trip.

A short stay at YiHe Hotel

It’s satisfactory. Not a large or fancy hotel, but clean and quiet. The WiFi was poor and got frequently cut off. Breakfast wasn’t included. No instant coffee provided in the room, only tea bags were served.

great area to stay in, close to Baima and Liyun markets and Parc central, great garden area further down the road to go for a walk in. should of done a bit more research of the area, great turkish restaurant a few blocks down the road. Otherwise very convenient to everything.
Only one small thing,upgrade the gym and carpet, otherwise everything else was fine :)

Major con is hotel too old.
Now the pros:
Clean bed sheets, clean towels, friendly staff, complimentary fruits in room which you rarely find in most hotels. Internet averagely good.
I wish I could give them 5 star, but it’s very old that wear & tear is so visible that makes you even think it’s dirty. Needs total renovation. The pictures look better than the reality
But for someone who doesn’t value that, believe me you will enjoy it as everyone has his or her own priority.

The location does not very close to subway, especially when you are with luggage.
The facility is ok, TV has to pay extra money to watch, or do not have to but I do not know how to find it.
The room has smoking smell, even they had an option for non smoking room, but this was inevitable in China.
Many night-time food (before 9pm), and also the convenience store next to the hotel.

Great location and service staff aims to please.Elevator situation a bit frustrating and hotel is a clean but a bit \"tired\".Wifi is spotty and beds are so so but the staff really does try to be accomodating.

Best for Smokers

The air in my room and corridors of the hotel was pungent with cigarette smoke. I do not have breathing issues but I developed one whilst I was in this hotel.

I felt sick, had difficulty breathing especially at night, some nights I thought I was going to die. I complained and they moved me to a floor that was supposed to be no smoking floor, but it made no difference. The best help the hotel staff could give me was to advise me to open my window.

The carpet was dirty in both the hallways and the rooms I stayed. People smoke freely everywhere including inside the hotel lifts and foyer or reception. Extremely disappointed would not recommend to anyone.The hotel staff have no regard for guest wishes.

Good hotel as per price.

This was worth according to price. We booked hotel at 195 HKD per day (without s. Tax) and was great in this price. Only issue is that hotel.com has marked wrong place in there map and hence very difficult to find as it was incorrect tagged in map at hotel.com. After cheking with many other local person, we were able to find the hotel.

Taojie metro exit A was very near to hotel(400m). Take left and walk straight to 400m. In way there is indian hotel at 2nd floor which was good and price was reasonable.

THIS HOTEL LEFT A BAD TASTE IN OUR MOUTH, TERRIBLE

We had booked this hotel and paid in advance for one night stay. We were charged over $100 plus used some welcome rewards. When we arrived at the hotel. They DID NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR US. The Canton Trade Fair was in town. They offered us a room across town. I told them, we traveled to Guangzhou today for one reason, to eat at our favorite restaurant nearby.Find us a room. After a half hour wait, they offered us a room at the Garford, block away. We said fine, it was terrible and very dirty. I check later and they were still selling rooms for double because of the Canton Trade Fair.

The hotel is overall clean and comfortable and was conveniently situated for our needs. We had a small issue where the original room booked was not available on arrival and we were only accommodated in the correct room from the 2nd night.

We had a great holiday at the Yihe Hotel! The apartment was very good. Unfortunately the glass doors let lots of light into the bedrooms where the children were sleeping. The kitchen was non-functional but local food was so good and cheap that made up for it! Staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly.

Hotel was just average. Reception desk service slow. Breakfast was served in the bar and you get to seat on high bar stools. No bathrobe in the room. Stayed just one night. Not recomended for longer stay. On the plus side, it is not far from metro and some shopping malls.

3.5 Star with Room for Improvement

It was a pleasant stay of 5 days. The balcony that came with the room is a balcony, however, it's much smaller than anticipated. The walls are a bit too thin, we can hear our next door neighbours in the middle of the night, and I'm sure they can hear us as well. The 5th floor of the hotel is the restaurant of the hotel in the day time, it is also a night club that's open to the public at night, which brings in a touch of sketchiness to the hotel. If the night club was not there or was not open to the public, perhaps the hotel rating can go up.

I have doubts of returning to this hotel

The first time I stay in this hotel and I woke up next to a cockroach. They immediately upgrade and changed a better room for me after I complained. I really appreciate this gesture. However, I have doubts of returning to this hotel.

Very small room. Not clean at all. The housekeeping only clean what u can see and they dont change the sheets frequently. The turkey restaurant in tge hotel sucks. The breakfast is only chinese food. I dont recommend it for anyone

an OK hotel

The room is a bit old. It takes 20 minutes to get hot water every time you want to take shower. The good thing is that they don't charge for additional fee for the 3rd person.
