I had a wonderful stay at the Ottoman Hotel in Istanbul. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The spa facilities are absolutely lovely and a great way to relax—especially since they open early at 6:30, which is perfect for starting the day refreshed.
The location is fantastic, with a tram stop just meters away, making it really easy to get around the city and explore all the main attractions. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Overall great hotel. Sauna, steam room and pool are amazing, and included. Hamam was cold. The sauna and steam rooms are seperate for men and women. But the pool and gym is together. Breakfast was amazing lots of options and the fruit is fresh. The rooms did have a smell to them since they are not smoke free, the towels stink like smoke and some of the blankets are worn. But the houskeeping is good.

Positives - The rooms were spacious and elegant. The swimming pool, gym and spa areas were lovely.
Negatives - I went with family and their room was not cleaned properly. I also dont think the rooms are cleaned thoroughly each day. We had to ask for extra shower gel and toilet roll as they did not check. The corridors often had a bad drainage smell but i noticed that in other parts of Istanbul too not just this hotel so not sure if it is a city problem.

We reserved their family room which is a two bedroom suite. The room is fantastic. There were some issues with the A/C but they came and fixed it quickly.

We stayed in the same Room 3006 on two separate trips. This room has electricity problem as we only found one working plug and one broken with a dangerous pin sticking out of it. The Hotel fixed the broken plug but managed to glue the buttons down at the entrance of the door. This made the whole light operation of the room extremely difficult as it was glued it back solid.
These light buttons were working absolutely fine when we arrived. So they fixed one problem created and another.
The WC flush was broken on my last trip and still broken on this trip.
There in house maintenance person made the WC fix worser.
The aircon is temperamental in this room as you can smell the cigarettes from the garden room below and o hear the cleaners chatting loudly from the storage room which is right next door to Room 3006.
If you opened the window you can hear the whirling of the loud garden fans below which are very noisy and hard to sleep with the window open.
There is no proper ventilation in room 3006 and it’s a very cold room which to heat up even the top 35C on the aircon.
Very poor accommodation provided by hotel despite the price they are charging.
We were promised half hearted upgrade but that never happened or followed up on by the hotel management after the fixing of the problems. It was there job to keep paying customers happy. Should have followed up on this

Disappointed. The hotel looks beautiful and the bed was fabulous. The cleanliness could certainly be improved and the staff were really quite rude and communication was a problem. The spa was beautiful but the staff made it unpleasant. The attitude and behaviour of the man on the night desk was disgraceful.

The staff were attentive and supportive, but the bed linens in our room were not fresh, I pointed out the spilled liquid stain, and they quickly took action to address it. We experienced multiple power outages during our visit, which was irritating, particularly when it occurred while we were showering, plunging everything, including the alley, into darkness for several minutes. The front desk informed us that they have a generator, but it only kicks in after the power goes out, and there's nothing they can do since it's an issue with the city.

Hotel looks beautiful from the outside however its not the same experience inside. The first day we arrived, there were lots of missing amenities. We complained about it for the whole day and were provided this the next day. The restaurant meal was terrible, ordered room service and had one of the worst food experiences in instanbul, we had to call them multiple times to even order this food as they were not answering the phone. We did not carry the right USB and when we approached staff to help with this, they were trying to charge us more money and tried to give us an old USB while keeping the new one for themselves.Pool and spa facilities are not great either especially for couples. Overall it was not a stay i would recommend to couples.

The property was very clean, staff were friendly, professional. Assistant manager Kubilay was helpful. The buffet breakfast had so many varieties, & different options across the 4 days we stayed there. Highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel was lovely and in a place where you can go walking to the local surrounding restaurants and the shopping mall. The tram was 5/10 mins walk uphill … coming back it’s down hill and much more easier . The staff were kind and helpful , the cleaning staff are wonderful and they do a very good job, anything you need they would help as much as they can and no matter what the language they say hello with a smile . Great people always smiling, it’s perfect as it’s a dry hotel and they have separate facilities for women which is great for all the sisters who want to use the swimming pool and sauna . Had a hammmam and massage from a lovely lady. very family friendly and great for us Muslim women who want to let our hair down in a private area . The only thing I would like to see is having weighing scales in the room so that we can weigh our suitcases.

The infrastructure was excellent, but I believe the service needs improvement. Upon check-in, the very first thing I noticed was a chewing gum stuck on my pillow, which was quite disappointing. For a 5-star property, several basic amenities were missing, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a bathrobe. Additionally, the in-room locker was broken, which caused inconvenience.

As soon as we walked it I was stunned, not only is it such a beautiful hotel, the employees made us feel so welcome and the cleanliness was definitely top tier. I recommend for anyone looking to book this hotel. Breakfast was also amazing even if the room is full they helped guide us to the other room and we ate our breakfast still rather then waiting a long wait to sit. I can definitely say this hotel will be one I always will visit and look forward to.

Overall good hotel. Need to be a bit more organised so that they work according to the guest. We had to call reception and guest services few times for basic amenities within the room such as shower gel, towels, duvet etc. they do clean the room everyday but doesn’t top up all the items which guests need. But otherwise it’s a great hotel at great location.

We had an amazing experience during our stay at this hotel. Everything was just perfect, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the exceptional breakfast each morning. The breakfast spread was truly outstanding, with so many delicious options to choose from.
The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with a smile, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Parking was very convenient, and the hotel’s location made it easy to access public transport ,we used the nearby train station to reach all the famous attractions with ease.
There are also plenty of shopping malls and restaurants close to the hotel, which was super convenient. Our kids absolutely loved the stay, it was a wonderful experience for the whole family. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I love this hotel and there is no where else I would stay when I visit Istanbul. Location is amazing. Close to tram stop and you also have a mall about 2 min walk. The service is great. Decor in the rooms are amazing. Free use of sauna steam room and pool. They even have a women’s only health club where you also have daily free use of the sauna steam room and pool.

I had a mixed experience at the Ottoman Deluxe Hotel in Istanbul. The good parts were definitely worth mentioning — the hotel was very clean and quiet, and it’s in a great location, close to shops and a nice shopping mall. The garden restaurant was beautiful, and I appreciated the thoughtful addition of prayer rooms. The cleaning staff were also very kind and helpful.
However, there were some downsides. Our room card kept stopping working, which was frustrating. Not many of the staff spoke English, which made communication a bit hard. On our first night, the restaurant staff didn’t seem interested and we waited a long time just to place an order. The food wasn’t great and was quite expensive. Also, the massage service was unavailable during our stay, which was disappointing.

Hotel was nice. Had to ask about housekeeping issues twice: once no bath towels left and once no spare toilet roll with just a tiny amount on the roll. Pool dominated by children, even the lanes which one would presume were for swimming lengths.

This is a great hotel, close to all the amenities and lots of restaurants. Plenty of public transportation options within a walking distance to get you to the rest of the city.
