Everything was lovely! The room was great, check-in was easy and hospitable, quick walk to local bars and restaurants. Easy parking nearby. Honor bar and snacks, plus homemade cake in the living area - what could be better? Delicious cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning. Fantastic, with wonderful hosts. Room was lovely, with a fridge, tv and good fast free wi-fi throughout. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order, exactly how you'd like. Parking available, for a small fee, but a lot cheaper than public parking. Overall would fully recommend.

I highly recommend this guest house!!! The service was excellent and the hosts were so friendly. It is a great location with a short walk to Towan beach, the hotel also provides parking at low rates which was really convienient. The cleanliness and attention to detail with the whole property was extremley high, I have stayed many times in Newquay in both guest houses and pricey hotels and this stay was far the best accomodation I have stayed in. No doubt we will be back here again!

As a family run guesthouse I think sometimes you expect service to naturally be a little bit less as they are usually balancing more plates, but it was absolutely not! Really great location, the owners are lovely and accommodating, the breakfast was amazing, our room was really spacious with the comfiest bed that we wanted to take home. Would definitely visit again, 10/10

We stayed here for 2 nights. Louise gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything she was doing regarding Covid to keep everyone safe. Room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent.

St Bernards is a great place to stay,its extremely clean,they have all the covid 19 procedures in place i felt more than safe here,theres plenty of hand sanitizer and Louise asked if we wanted her to go in our room each day or was we happy to just ask for towels,drink replacements etc and they would leave them outside your door we was just happy for us to ask i dont like causing extra work if not necessary.The breakfast each morning was exceptional so fresh and delicious you get a good variety of choice,you just fill in your slip and make sure its handed into the required holder before 7pm the evening before,you get a choice of 2 sittings for breakfast 8am or 9am so the social distancing can be adhered to ,this worked very well.
The hotel is in a ideal location just minutes from the beach,shops,pubs and restaurants.The lounge area was opened they have a honesty book here for any drinks you would like whatever you have you just write it into the book and you will be charged at the end of your stay.We was very overwhelmed with this hotel when we asked to pay Louise said just pay at the end of our stay(how nice that felt to be trusted).Overall i would highly recommend this hotel it was our 1st time here but it wont be our last.Thanks for a great bank holiday weekend Louise and John.

You wont find a cleaner more friendly place to stay in Newquay. ... this place deserves 6 stars. They couldnt do enough to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was out of this world. Our room was beautiful. They knew all the best places for a day out or to eat. The sauna was very welcome after a day out and we loved the massage chair. I will recommend this guesthouse to anyone and everyone.

I cannot praise the owners enough for the service they provide as I left early every morning so they put a fridge in my room with milk, juice etc and cereal. They even provide an umbrella for your use.

Very welcoming, excellent communication before our visit and throughout. Dog friendly too - we were even given a print out of all the dog friendly places to eat and drink, pets shops and vets. We were also given a free map of the area and excellent advice and recommendations of things to do and places of interest.
When we had to rush out one morning because we were running late and had to miss breakfast we were immediately given pain au chocolate and bananas to take with us.

Louisa and John were excellent hosts, and we're very helpful. They, in fact, went out on a limb to help with car parking as I wanted to leave my car in Newquay while I walked the coastal path. They arranged for me to park the car at Louisa's parents home which was very generous.
The guest house is conveniently located to the centre of Newquay, and is very well appointed.
