Great family stay at Kristal Hotel!
We really enjoyed our time at Kristal Hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful from the start, and the place felt clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious enough for the whole family, and the beds were really comfy.

Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and the kids loved it. The location was also great — close to shops and restaurants but still nice and quiet at night. Everything was easy and stress-free, which made our trip even better.

We’d definitely stay here again next time we visit. Highly recommend for families!

A Wonderful Family Stay at Kristal Hotel!

We had such an amazing time at Kristal Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome and went out of their way to make our family comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped — perfect for traveling with family.

The hotel has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, and we really appreciated the quiet nights after our busy days exploring. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices that everyone in the family enjoyed. The location is also fantastic — close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions, yet peaceful enough for a good rest.

Everything was so well taken care of, and we genuinely felt at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Kristal Hotel to any family looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay!

I came with 3 kids to the hotel for a 3 nights transit in Jakarta. Was surprised there were several kids activity arranged during those days. Kids really enjoyed it. The hotel is also strategically situated close to Pondok Indah Mall and Cilandak Town Square avoiding long traffic jam when having some appointment with friends.

Great hotel with great staff. Wasn’t expecting too much for the price but it was perfect for my stay. Good internet, good pool, great breakfast, as good as most 5 star hotels but just a bit older and worn but not worn out. Loved the Satu Lagi bar for getting a drink and dinner.

The first Room didn't to my expectations after I mentioned the issues to the reception, they offered to move to a better room which I accepted, the new room was satisfactory and accepted their apology. In the end, everybody is happy. Well done Kristal Hotel staff, certainly will stay there again. Thank you.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Kristal many times over the last 15 years. The staff are most friendly and accommodating and the pool and Satu Lagi Bar are great. I will stay there again if in Jakarta. If I could point out anything on the negative side, is the facility needs a facelift. My room, for example, was clean but clearly showed signs of wear and tear. Understandable given that COVID was such a setback to business. Note that WiFi was excellent the entire week I was there. Many thanks to hotel staff for a very pleasant stay.

I especially love the floor plan. We stayed in the two bedroom, two bathroom. Traveling with my sister having our own space was very nice! I got the bedroom with no TV… she doesn’t watch TV…but her closest was bigger and she would not switch with me! The kitchen, dining room and living room were spacious and we were very happy with this property!

Went there and asked if the room had a balcony. Wanted to upgrade for a 3-bed. Hotel staff was very kind to show the interior of both 2- and 3-bed before the room assignment. The rooms are just really bare I guess that would be the best word to describe it. Intended to stay for longer time but booked couple nights just for the safe size as the photos from online are not the same as when walking into both units. Portable stove some sort in the 2-bed. It was old and white light white walls. It was so uncomfortable. I left without staying. Tried to ask for at least one night reimbursement. Hotel staff said no. This is a horrible experience to be honest. It is a solid for not returning.

On the positive side, the staff here are wonderful and extremely friendly. The hotel itself is very tired and in desperate need of an upgrade. Feels like the 1980s in a time warp. The smoking rooms were horribly unpleasant (we weren’t offered a non-smoking room), hard to believe these are even offered this day and age. Tolerable if you need to be in the area to avoid all the traffic.

The hotel has done a lot to improve - better-cleaned rooms, towels and services. Well done! Only the hotel still bears an old and slightly worn-down look but for someone looking for the convenience of being in the Pondok Indah area, this is a good place

I was very disappointed with this hotel. My friends and I selected it due to its pool bar. However, upon arrival we were informed that the pool bar was permanently closed - very misleading and deceiving.

Furthermore, I accidentally left my bathers at the hotel and returned the following day to retrieve them. I was disgusted that the hotel receptionist said on the phone that the bathers were owned by a “wanita yang gemuk”. Little did she know was that I can understand Bahasa and was aware of what she said. Very disappointing with both the closed pool bar and the offensive comment that was made about me by the receptionist.

The hotel room is old. Location is not good as there is hardly any nearby amenities within walking distance. My experience for breakfast in this hotel was not good as most of the food in the containers was already empty and not refilled, even it's just before 8.30 am.

Great locale, if you need to be near Jakarta Intercultural School. Right next to a Starbucks, and a market. Not right near any malls, but almost all you need on site: restaurant, bar, barber, big pool, fitness center, trainers, 24-hour room service, taxis ready and waiting, good security, etc.

Don't let the bug bites get you down!

One word on the decor - DATED! Desperately needs a refresh. BUT
the room is clean and the bed is divine! Mattress was firm, and the sheets were soft and clean. Best part of the stay.
But don't sit on the chairs and sofa. Fabric has not been cleaned for ages evidenced by the dust mite bites that I had.
But outside the room, the restaurant was nice and clean and airy. Food was pretty good. The swimming pool was really nice and the gym well stocked. Overall, it was a pleasant trip, bug bites notwithstanding!

Visiting JIS after not seeing it for 31 years? THIS is the place to stay! It's a fantastic hotel, just a block away from the school. The rooms are awesome, and completely worth the \"expensive\" price (in Rupiah, of course). We skipped the breakfast, because it was a little too pricey. (I understand why they have it, though, there's not too many walk-able options.)

Bad attitude at check-in

Check-in was disappointing, our requests were not read well, so we ended up wasting time asking for room change. My two guests were given smoking rooms, while we stated all non-smoking. I was given twin bed instead of double bed, and when entering the room the electricity was off, which later they apologised that it was supposed to have been done by the staff. When calling receptionist, no answer, so I had to walk back down finding them chatting with each other. Despite our complaints, the receptionists showed no apologies, very bad attitude.

Our stay at Kristal was excellent. The staff is extremely courteous and will go to many extent to please you.
Taxi service is available at the hotel entrance which is a very nice perk.
A mosque is located in the parking garage level which is another convenience.

Be Cautious in Booking for Smoking/Non Smoking

Mistakenly Online booking was done for non smoking room, during check-in requested at reception for Smoking Room but the reply was not satisfactory. Young Lady at reception smiling said that you have booked on-line & they do not have two single bedded smoking room.

We used to stay here when we lived in Jakarta around ten years ago, and we try to stay here each time we return on vacation. The hotel was getting a little tired, so we were very pleasantly surprised with the refurbishment.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Wi-fi works great. Satu lagi bar is very good. Supermarket next door. And Starbucks....

Definitely 4 stars.

I had a week long stay for business and stayed in the 3bd suite in tower 1 because it had a balcony and kitchen, plus it was huge, bigger than most apartments. I was not disappointed with anything. the hotel staff was great, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked really good with independent units for the Living room and Bedroom, WiFi also had good signal and was consistent. I considered breakfast to be quite reasonably priced for the good quality of the food and as others have said the egg chef is quite skilled, on a funny side note the timer for the toaster is the bottom knob ;-) The mall is just a short taxi ride away and there is a full market and starbucks next door. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know. The Satu Lagi pub/bar is quite a nice hangout spot after a long day with great music, food and atmosphere. While the hotel is not brand new some rooms have been remodeled and there is more than enough other great things to compensate. If I return to this area I will be staying there again for sure.

I was pleasantly surprised with the size and cleanliness of the room...very spacious. There is also a small kitchenette area with a mini-fridge, a sink, and some plates, bowls, and other basics. There is a beautiful pool and excellent gym on site. The hotel food was quite good. There is a large grocery store and Starbucks next store...very convenient. We were there for a swim meet held at JIS, which was a very easy walk. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are there to visit the Jakarta Intercultural School.

My TV wasn't working well, so I asked an engineer for help, but it took 4 calls to get help.(About 1 hour later)Has the manager changed?Service is down.No help from the staff in the lobby even though I have heavy luggage.just watching

滞在初日、バスタブ、シャワーのお湯が温かく無かった。最後の食料品の一部を冷蔵庫に忘れたが、何の連絡もなかった。(食料品だったので処分をしてもらってOK)。今後、此方からも問い合わせをするが、何らかの形で一報が有っても良いのではないかと思う。
