My wife and I have stayed at this hotel occasionally over the past three years. Until now, our experiences had been acceptable. However, this recent stay — when she traveled with her grandmother — was extremely disappointing and has completely changed our perception.
First, upon arrival, she was not allowed to step out of the car with her grandmother in front of the hotel entrance. The staff claimed there was a conference taking place and that there was “no space.” This is the first time we have ever encountered a hotel that prioritizes conference attendees over its own room guests — especially returning customers. That treatment was both surprising and unacceptable.
Second, the situation at reception was handled very poorly. Despite presenting a valid reservation number and the correct name, the receptionist repeatedly insisted that no reservation could be found. Only after a prolonged and unnecessary back-and-forth did they finally locate it — after causing significant stress and inconvenience. This level of disorganization is not what one expects from a five-star establishment.
Finally, the breakfast was extremely disappointing. The quality, selection, and overall standard were far below what would be considered acceptable for a hotel of this category.
Unfortunately, this experience has significantly damaged our trust. Based on this stay, I can only give this hotel a 1 out of 5 rating.

I’ve stayed at this hotel over 30 times in the last few years and it’s truly the absolute best service I’ve ever received at a hotel worldwide. During my last stay, I fell sick and was stuck at the hotel for 4 days and everyone was so kind checking in on me, asking if I need medication, randomly bringing me hot tea or lemon and ginger juices to feel better. I highly recommend Le Casablanca.

This hotel catered to us Westerners even during Ramadan. We were able to enjoy all of our favorite alcohol beverages. The grounds are so beautiful outside in the pool area. We took many pictures. The lobby smells amazing and is decorated so beautifully. The food was delicious. Hot showers. Clarins brand toiletries. Comfortable beds. Cool air conditioned room. Located on a busy street, but we never noticed any street noise. The staff was courteous and helpful. One gentleman at the front desk informed us about the taxis. He said where we were going should not cost over 35dh and to not get in the taxis without meters (which proved to be harder than we expected). We did get taken advantage of by many taxi drivers while in Casablanca. After venturing out in Casablanca, I was always eager to return to this tranquil hotel. We arranged with the desk for a driver to take us to airport as this was our final destination in Morocco after 2 weeks of travel within the country. The car was a nice large Mercedes that accommodated our large suitcases. The driver was also very courteous even at 4 in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel! I have zero complaints.

Service was very below what was expected for such a special hotel and Valentines stay. The Terrace bought the starter with the mains. The chicken tagine was so dry we couldnt digest it. We returned the starter and then they tried to charge for it. After checking out it was clear what we signed to the room for dinner was charged much higher. They charged for 2 items from the mini bar. Then told me they needed to charge a further 400 dirham for the mini bar. I as a female felt extremely uncomfortable with the check out process as they took more money. Disappointed massively and will never return.

I booked for two nights and prepaid. I was going to check in early on the second day. I sent two emails reminding the hotel. When I tried to check in I was told that I was a no-show and that they had given away my room. They eventually found me a room but the experience was upsetting.

It was a 5 zero hotel, not 5 stars. Nastiest place we ever experienced in our life as world class travelers. Smokers everywhere even in the restaurant. Heavy perfume odor to cover it up. AC did not work, so had to open the window to cool off, but then street noise kept us awake. Bed mattress was broken. Shower spilled water all over the floor. Water was shut off at midnight. And no attempt by rude front desk staff to make any amends. Fooled by the lobby pictures to book the hotel. Another guest said they had similar issues. Canceled after one night and booked Four Seasons to recover from this disaster.

It’s ok for a 5-star hotel. Nothing really bad but nothing outstanding either. My suite was facing the street—avoid that if you’re booking as it’s very noisy even late in the night. The breakfast was ok; I stayed there for 3 days including Christmas but it’s always the same breakfast everyday.

It was highly recommended to me after staying my first night at the Sofitel. I consider this a presumptuous place with nothing to justify its price. The front office staff is condescending, unhelpful and the room average at best. Privacy between the bathroom and shower is a minimum for me and this layout was awful. I will never go there again.

- Pool is dirty (leaves and other debris) if you want to take a swim early morning or late evenings
- Gym is a tiny has 4 treadmills and only access through the spa When the spa closes, it is no longer available.

Excellent Hotel in Casablanca. We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel for 6 nights. The room was perfect and clean. Service was great. The breakfast was very good with so many choices. We had a small complaint the second day at breakfast because of a small delay in getting our coffee, hotel was crowded. But next days we had a royal treatment instead. Pros: Great restaurants in the hotel. The french cuisine was superb. The waiters at both the indoor and outdoor restaurants were extremely professional and kind. I travel a lot, and I have to say that this hotel has the most comfortable bed/bedding I've ever slept on. 10 out of 10 on that. Cons: I made a reservation for the pool view, but did not get that view. The manager said that they went with my original booking. That booking, however, was cancelled by me. I re-booked a new room and that was the pool view, but didn't get that view. Also, concierge was kind of all over the place with giving advice. Day and night crew, that is, weren't on the same page. Daytime personnel would say one thing, and the night personnel would say something else, which overall mislead us in many ways, so much that we didn't even get to see the Hassan II mosque. The night staff reassured us later that we could have very well seen the mosque in daytime despite his daytime colleague telling us otherwise. Similarly, train/bus information was incorrectly provided to us in the daytime, night crew gave us the correct information the next day prior to our departure. Perhaps concierge should be trained so that they are on the same page with giving advice. But overall, the hotel was lovely and I still can't get over that amazing bed!
