There were shops nearby. A McDonald's in front of the hotel, a Walmart two blocks over (you could walk to it) and other stores, but it was under (what looked like) construction. The door won't open. Management had to (he acted, reluctantly) come to the door to fix the mechanism so that it could be opened. The furniture was so, so old. It was DEFINITELY a 2-star rated hotel as were the others. No high rated hotel to found. So much wrong with it I don't think management cared just as long as the money was coming in.

TV picture was fuzzy (funky cable or satellite connection?), telephone inoperative. No elec outlet near head of bed; it was visible -- but not accessible -- behind headboard that was bolted to wall. Zero breakfast. No facial tissue. Avoid this place!

Tough experience, and I usually stay in similar brands. A good percentage of rooms were filled by long-term stays (some down on their luck and some just migrant workers). Drinking in parking lot, clothes hanging all down the rails, doors open with loud music, guys whistling at girls going in rooms. As far as condition and cleanliness, its hard to say. The original room looked better, but the room they moved us to away from the biggest party/loud end, looked to not be in the normal rotation of rooms. There are 2 other similar hotels in same area, and while less active from first glance, I would suggest maybe skipping the town. I wasn't worried for my safety, but maybe not for young families or some traveling alone.

We were traveling through Franklin for a night to attend a memorial service the next day and booked the Econo Lodge. At $80 a night, it seemed reasonable for the area. Unfortunately, the experience was far from acceptable.
When we arrived, the surrounding area already felt chaotic—people were partying at the gas station across the street, even climbing on cars and blasting music. At the hotel itself, the property was in terrible condition. The stairs were crumbling, concrete broken, and it was obvious that some people were living there long-term, with clothes hanging over the railings. The overall atmosphere felt unsafe.
Once we checked in, we went to our room only to find it completely uncleaned—the bed was unmade, there were dirty towels left behind, trash in the bins, and even urine still in the toilet. Outside the room, trash was scattered around as well. It genuinely looked as if housekeeping had just walked off the job.
The one positive was the front desk clerk—he was very kind and understanding. After we explained the situation, he immediately refunded our money with no issue. We appreciated his professionalism, but ultimately felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we decided to leave and drive 45 minutes to another hotel instead after having already driven 4 1/2 hours and checking in at 10:30 at night

The accessible room is adequate for me to get around in and the tub has good grab rails for me. Horizontal and vertical, so bonus points there. All grab rails on the wall for the toilet and tub were very sturdy. No shower chair is available, so make sure you have arrangements for that.

I couldn’t walk barefoot without my feet feeling sticky and wet, and there was an overwhelming musty smell. One lamp shade looked like it had mold growing on it.

When I left around 6:45 am the outside reeked of beer, and as soon as I walked out the door the men stopped talking and just stared at me as I headed to my car.

Stayed 2 nights. I chose this hotel bc I had 2 dogs with me. It's right beside McDonald's and across the street from a Starbuck's. No frills motel. Room had a fridge and microwave. The beds were clean and semi-comfortable. You can tell the mattresses are old but it's not the worst bed I've slept in. The bathtub was dirty. There were cigarette burns all along the tub. It was quite and parking was good. I didn't try the breakfast. Overall it was affordable.

This property was the worst Place I’ve stayed. The towels and linens were dingy. They didn’t give you enough towels or tissue. The bathrooms were very small and the floors were filthy. A lot of transient people lived there therefore safety is questionable . I was disappointed. Renovations need to be done.

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We were looking for an inexpensive place to spend one night. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. We had a refrigerator, microwave and two chairs. The air conditioner worked great. Good water pressure in the shower. The bed was comfortable.

It's a basic motel, no problem. I never did get logged into the wifi but what made it good for me was the PILLOW(S). I'm getting ready for shoulder surgery and the pillows worked great to give me a pain-free night's sleep.

The only good thing about the room was that the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was dirty ,walls looked like they had mold,but it was just dirt.tv remote didn't work right had to turn on and off at set. Floor molding was loose and torn. Don'trecommend staying there .also no where on the web site does it say that there is a daily charge for pets

The room was really cheap, and we definitely got what we paid for on that. The room was visually pretty clean, but smelled a bit musty. One of the two lamps was broken, so the room was pretty dark at all times. Tried going down for the free breakfast, but all that was there was coffee. Not sure if they ran out or if that was all they had given that there was only like 30 min of breakfast time left. It was an alright stay, but nothing amazing.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed in. 1. It was dirty, 2. Had to ask for sheets to be put on the bed,3. Refrigerator had rotten water standing in it that smell and it was leaking on the floor.4. Couldn’t use fridge or microwave because they were so dirty,5. The floors were so dirty we couldn’t take our shoes off. 6. There was no soap, shampoo or anything including a trash can in the room. The whole place was dirty and I would of went somewhere else but nothing available in the area. I will never use this site again because of this experience. I have stayed at this property multiple times, but this will be the last. There were 5 groups of us, who were coming in for the dog show. I've never had issues, this time was the opposite. There was a lady at the front end that checked in everyone, including myself. She was rude to everyone and so disrespectful. Keep in mind, all our dogs are well trained, crated, and overall not a nuisance. Meanwhile, while we were walking OUR dogs, some person in a wheelchair was walking his aggressive and obese dog which lunged at our dogs and us multiple times. But I guess since that person lives on the property, they aren't a problem.
Overall, each of us were treated with so much disrespect by the woman, and illegally, one of my friends had a service dog and was told by this woman \"you can't have a service dog be a show dog\" and refused to allow the dog in the room without the pet fee.

We were truly disappointed in this hotel. I accidentally booked a smoking room originally and the staff was accommodating and switched the room but yelled at me asking if I touched the bed of anything when asked. (The room was awful and smelled horribly like marijuana). The new room was very dirty and had beer bottles in the trash can so had obviously not been cleaned and smelled. Everything was covered in dust. We were so exhausted we stayed the first night and went to our show and when came back at 6, the trash had been emptied and looked like someone went through my bag. We went to store and came back and someone had our door open and was tossing towels in the door(instead of putting in bathroom, on table and floor) A loose dog attacked me in the parking lot. You could see outside through gap between wall and door. One of dirtiest places ever. Our room was non refundable for the next two days from paying on hotels.com but left anyways and found somewhere else to stay an hour away because long commute better than being there. Will never stay at another econolodge after that. So dirty, don’t clean rooms. Don’t recommend

I've stayed here before with no problems but they always put me in the front of the hotel. This time i got placed in the back and i didn't like it at all, as a solo traveler. However, the room itself was GREAT. Super clean, spacious and nice. Bathtub was a bit gringy but not terrible. It smelt a bit after i turned on the heat/ac but it went away quickly. I had dogs and one of my dogs ate something in the grass and had an upset stomach all day. The area was really dirty with trash, cigarette butts, etc all over the place. The staff was excellent and very helpful!

You would not be happy if you saw what we walked in on. Rooms dirty, floors, furniture falling apart. Lights not working, AC not working and we’re treated like we were asking for the world. It would be nice to go in your room after a long day on the road and actually have the lights, and just normal room with towels and soap. Toilet paper holders installed instead of a roll of paper sitting on the back of the toilet. I don’t ever make negative remarks and I’m sorry that this has to be my first. Please check this place out in order to save your rep Hopefully this heads up helps you and you take this as I’m just picky person. My husband and myself don’t ask for much.

In a non-smoking room there were cigarette burns on night stand, 2 person table and bathtub beside toilet. Faucet in hand sink was completely loose from counter. Television had very limited stations with no ABC, CBS or NBC and volume was at maximum when television turned on. Towels not changed until second day of three day stay. Bed linen not changed for three day stay. The overhead light connected to the wall switch at the door had been cut down from the ceiling.

Had a pleasurable stay and was upgraded! Didn’t mind the pet fee but would of been nice to of been noted on site! Can tell it’s got upgrades but def need to paint walls :) other than that super clean friendly and cleaning staff was on their game daily! Will stay again in future
