Clean Centrally Located with Great Access

Weary from over 24 hours of traveling from Los Angeles, we arrived a bit early for our check-in time. We were expecting that we had to drop off our bags and maybe make our way to somewhere nearby to await our room, we were greeted by a big smile from Albert, who was the Manager attending the lobby. He was friendly, attentive, efficient, but most of all - intuitive. Maybe it was our slumped shoulders or that we just looked wrecked from our travels, but he processed us quickly and went above and beyond and got us situated into our room for an early check-in, which is not typically offered. We were immensely thankful (Thank you, Albert)!

The rooms are clean, the staff was very attentive and accommodating, and there's a nice cafe downstairs at affordable costs (local faves such as oxtail soup) of you're feeling a bit lazy. The location was perfect for us, located in Central Jakarta right next to public transportation options and a lot of neighboring clean and safe hawker centers/food stalls for great food at amazing local prices.

Incredibly easy to travel north for history and Blok M just south of us. Big ups for supplying body lotion! We really enjoyed our stay!

Bonus Tip : Blok M is the jewel of Jakarta if your looking for trendy food, bar, and nightlife options. Here you will find bars voted on Asia's Top 50 list. Stop by Bebop, Modernhaus, Carrots, The Cocktail Club, and most of all Aftermath. Message me if you want more recs and introductions to some really rad bar folk.

Super Kind in the Heart of the City

The Liberty Hotel is in a really convenient location in Central Jakarta near the MRT and bus stations. Right around the corner are multiple bunches of clean and delicious food stalls at extremely reasonable prices. Take a walk around and explore all of the food in the area if you don't mind getting a little sweaty.

Checking in was smooth. Big ups to Albert (Thank you, again!) who was especially helpful! He spoke fluent English and helped us check in a little early after hearing we had such a long trip from Los Angeles. The rest of the team there was very responsive, kind, and always friendly.

Block M is just south of the adjacent river is bustling with trendy restaurants and cocktail bars.

Bonus information : Dental kits with toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided along with lotion, which is always appreciated.

The hotel is in an excellent area. Close to the Grand Indonesian mall, train to the airport & lots of restaurants. However 1 of the nights during our 4 nights stay, there was a group of young people that were loud & yelling in the hallway at 3am 😫. Although this I was not the hotel’s fault

wonderful experience staying in this hotel. hotel is located ~6mins walk away from grand indonesia, but there is nothing much around the hotel. No food or massage within vicinity but convenient to get taxi to other places. Another ~6mins walk to Airport Train. Room is clean and i enjoyed the breakfast.

The only bad thing is the smell when i first entered the room, but it got better after some days.

Always using Liberty hotel when I stay in Jakarta. Perfect location and very well maintained hotel with reasonable price. Close from Airport train station and new MRT station. Also close from Grand Indonesia & Plaza Indonesia shopping mall. Staffs all very friendly and most of them for long service. Strongly recommended especially for business peoples. Hope they can prepare small gym.

Excellent Mid-Range Option in Central Jakarta

An excellent mid-range option. Perfect location - 5 minute walk from the airport train station and just around the corner from malls and eating options. All staff were very friendly with good English spoken. Bedroom was a good size, comfortable and well-maintained. Bathroom was well stocked and had large walk-in shower. Breakfast wasn't great but was perfectly adequate. Wifi good throughout. Excellent value for money and thoroughly recommended.

5 star service and room at a very reasonable price

We cannot express how wonderful the service at the hotel was, especially the 2 boys at the reception. They were the most polite staff we have ever encountered. The room was extremely clean and the toiletries were actually really good for what we paid for. Housekeeping was also very attentive and extremely polite. Will definitely go back to this hotel next time.

The taxi driver from the airport had a hard time seraching for the hotel. The second time we went back from Grand Indonesia Shoppins Town the taxi driver had a difficult time looking for the hotel too.

Business Hotel Close to Grand Indonesia

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Grand Indonesia, it has connection to the side small roads so it can help in getting uber/grab when the main thoroughfare is jammed.

Hotel is relatively new looking but the towels are not fluffy and seems to have been washed many times over and in desperate need of change. Other than that I was very pleased and satisfied with the stay.

Liberty Hotel Xmas December 2017

I have stayed at Liberty Hotel on a few occasions now and it never fails to deliver. This time around I stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks. The staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend the superior room which is both spacious and clean. The bed is a decent size and very comfortable and you fall asleep easily after a long day. The toilet and shower cubicle are clean and decent size. You cannot hear any sounds from traffic outside so you can rest easily without any disturbances. Jakarta is known for its horrendous traffic therefore this hotel is in an ideal location! It is a 5 minute walk to Grand Indonesia which is one of the finest malls in Jakarta. It is very close to all the main landmarks. To those who like to party, Skye Bar, Cloud Bar, and Immigrant is very close approximately 5/10 mins away. Overall, I would highly recommend Liberty Hotel to anyone who is visting Jakarta. I have stayed in many hotels in Jakarta but I prefer this one, for the price you probably will not find a better place to stay. Will be coming back soon. Thank you Liberty Hotel for an enjoyable stay.

Miniature of 5 stars hotel!

Easily the best affordable hotel we've ever stayed! The room is spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults, 1 baby, 2 giant luggages and a stroller. The bathroom is clean and the water pressure is a bliss! Grand Indonesia is only 10 minutes away by walking leisurely. Very convenient! We'll definitely stay here again in the future!

Hotel is very clean and new. Service is good and location is central, near to major shopping malls.
However, breakfast is very limited and not as good as some of the lower star hotels in JKT.
WIFI connection is also extremely unreliable. Gets cut off every few minutes.

A boutique hotel that is less than 1 year old

I like the hotel staff, from reception to housekeeping. Check-in was efficient. Told reception that it was my wife's birthday and it was 25 years since her last visit to Jakarta. We got an upgrade room and my wife received a slide of cake delivered to the room! Thank you.

I called housekeeping on 3 separate occasions requesting for additional toiletries. Each time the response time was less than 3 minutes when the item was delivered to my room. Fantastic response time!

All staff were friendly and smiling during my 3 days stay.

Quick, easy check in with the email from Expedia.com & friendly staff attending to us.
Clean, spacious, cozy room with clean & functioning toilet.

Location wise is ok, quite near to shopping centers, walk-able distance.
However, we had an unpleasant start on day of arrival on Thursday, 16th Feb 2017, when the taxi driver who drove us from Jakarta Airport couldnt find his way to Liberty Hotel. I passed him the location map & read to him the main road and the small lane of the hotel location, but he just can't find our hotel, and we were lost for more than 30 mins, close to the location, as he went round and round, till I asked him to stop & ask some security guards nearby and also ask some workers around there.

I realized that since its quite a new hotel, many taxi drivers we encountered, were not aware of its presence, which is near the Smart Hotel, at the front of the lane. I noticed that there was no signage on the main road, to signal its presence & location.

Breakfast could be further improved, as there were not many choices, to start with. And the food went cold without any heating appliances to keep warm.

Overall, nice, quiet stay, with spacious room, value for money.
Aircon, Toilet & mini fridge all functioning well.
Will come back to stay if we come again to Jakarta.

Nice reasonable price hotel in JKT

I'm here in town for business. The bed was really comfy (one of the most comfy beds i've ever slept on!). The staff at registration who helped me check in was very attentive. He smoothed out every step so we didnt have to waste the time. These two things make my stay very satisfying. Will definitely come back next time. BTW, do not expect for the best breakfast, it works for a quick eat and go.

I'm not sure I remember his ne correctly but Namdha who helped me with the check in was a great receptionist. He also helped get me an Uber to the airport and was very good at giving instructions about how to get around jakarta. I would stay at this hotel again because of the location and the exceptional customer service.

This hotel comes with modern concept of hotel. It was my pleasant stayed at standard room for 3days 2nights. The room not very small for this price.,..surprisingly..The environment is so cozy with clean room with no smell of cigarettes, fluffy white pillow and blanket and good mattress for you to have good sleep and rest well, basic toiletries and basic coffee and tea. Toilet is also in modern concept and clean.The hotel also provide hair dryer, kettle, qiblat signage (for Moslem), small refrigerator, iron (upon request), many plug point to charge your laptop, handphone,etc. You can order your food at the cafe in the hotel lobby.The food taste good even a bit expensive..but I'm ok with that as long as it taste good.The staff are also able to speak English well and they are very friendly and helpful. There is a ATM machine just in front of the hotel and it is convenient if you run out of cash. There is a 24hours (7-11) convenient store nearby but you have to walk around 10 minutes. This hotel is nearby Jln Thamrin but you have to take taxi to the mall nearby (Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia) due to MRT construction nearby. It takes you around 5-10minutes to the mall by taxi. This hotel is highly recommended and it is value for money. I will come back to this hotel for my next visit to Jakarta.

Relatively new boutique hotel in Central Jakarta.

The appearance and condition of the hotel was exactly as featured on Expedia. The front desk staff was friendly and check in was quick. I requested for a room on a higher floor and they obliged. As we arrived early we left our luggage at front desk to be picked up later when our room was ready. We came back later in the evening and was told that they had already sent our luggage to the room and upon entering they had even turned on the air conditioning for us. Bed was very comfy and had huge pillows...great to sleep in after walking the whole day!
The breakfast buffet was just basic. Overall a very good experience.

Though the staff are nice and friendly the hotel itself is not ready. They offered room service but no menu was in the room.
Be careful of the 1 million penalty for smoking in the room.
They make you sign a form on registration. In fine print was this penalty supposedly for making the room clean again.
