Well Located, Pleasant Stay

The \"hotel\" (a 4th floor section of a large building) is located within a 10 minute walk to a Metro making it a perfect location for getting around Rome. The proprietor couldn't have been more friendly and helpful in orienting us to the city and local restaurants. We especially enjoyed meals at the Taverna Pretoriana where hotel guests receive a 5% discount. A breakfast chit is available for a nearby bar (coffee, juice, croissant). The room is comfortable, spotless and has an excellent bathroom. A kettle, tea, coffee and a fresh croissant are provided, a great help before an early start or a late night return.

Great Staff Great Stay

This staff is AMAZING! Morrison and the beautiful young lady working there, were very helpful in providing me information on where to go, how to get there and other information about the city. They were always happy and friendly and willing to help! Room provided me with just what I needed (good shower and bed and clean) for my stay. Rome is a walk able city so a metro or being close to one, is not necessary. Great price for the stay as well. Highly recommend this place and exceptional staff!

Adequate base for stay in Rome.

On 4th floor of large building with lift. Next to British Embassy~plenty of security on show in business and diplomacy district. Plenty of restaurants and bars in area. Staff gave very useful information about Rome and the location nearby of a fantastic gelateria~no problem maintaining our 1 a day ice cream whilst on holiday in Italy. Breakfast provided in local bar nearby.

Hotel does not have a lobby ,just an small reception neither an cafe or restaurant inself
They offer a basic breakfast ,cappuchino orange juice and croussant that's it .The bar where you get a breakfast is two block away

Morrison hotel in Rome was a very nice place to stay away from the hectic Ness of the city center but close enough for access to everything! The only small detail is if you're in a room down the hall away from the front desk although it's quieter the connection to the Internet is not as strong. So I frequently went to the front desk to do Internet related tasks. But This was not a major issue. I would recommend this place it is extremely quiet and comfortable for sleeping

Fantastic value for money

We couldn't thank Morrisson hotel enough for our wonderful stay in Rome. The staff was so helpful to us, the room was extremely clean and the location was just right. We walked everywhere to the Vatican, Colosseo, Trevi fountain, etc... without the need for buses.
We would love to come back and stay again. Thank you Morrisson hotel :)

Great hotel and location

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the train station, and with in walking distance of almost all major attractions in Rome. Very warm welcome at check in and the hotel manager was very helpful.Rooms are very well appointed and clean. The area around the hotel has several embassies resulting in a very quiet and safe feeling.

Not what I expected.

This hotel is located near from the train station which is a plus but the hotel is nowhere from what you would expect from a conventional hotel.

It has just 5 rooms and is located on the 4th floor.

A very small hotel with an unattended lobby beyond business hours.

Description says breakfast is provided but you will have to walk approx 3 minutes to a nearby deli like small cafe with a coupon in order to get breakfast.

The room is clean and well maintained but the bathroom size is pretty tight which might be the norm in Italy. Also, sound proofing is really bad and you can hear other people chat and walk in the hallway.

In general I would say it is a great hotel if it was cheap but for more than $180 I paid per night, I don't think it is worth it.

Perfect weekend for us.

We had a fantastic time in Rome. Hotel was really good, very clean and staff were so helpful and very polite. Plenty of walking to be done to work up an appetite, which we did. Through food in Rome was excellent, definitely be returning there.

Consistent quality at a good price

I am a repeat customer at the Morrisson Hotel for a reason. They consistently provided a great level of quality, customer service, and value at the hotel. This is not a big fancy hotel with lots of amenities. That's ok. I rarely use those features, anyway. I have reviewed my experience in detail in the past, but I will say that I was pleased to experience the same wonderful service from staff, once agin. They are very friendly and want to make sure you are comfortable in the room, and enjoy your stay in Rome, while remaining safe at the same time. What services, or amenities, they may not have available at the Morrisson hotel, they are quick to offer a list of nearby recommendations. Kudos to Morris and Roxanne for running a wonderful establishment. I will have no problem choosing the Morrisson Hotel once again if I find myself in Rome in the future.

We visited Rome right before Christmas and had a great stay! The hotel was comfortable for our family of 4 which included 2 children. They loved the bunk bed and the breakfast. The hotel is a few minutes walk from a yummy gelato shop and about a 10 min walk to the metro which can take you to all the main sites in Rome. The staff was very friendly and helped with directions to anything we needed.

A nice price, nice staff, and a good room

The staff was very helpful and spoke English very well. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. There was a free continental breakfast at a nearby cafe. It was an easy walk from the train station or bus stop, plenty of variety of restaraunts in the area, and a nice area for walking to historical sites. I would stay here again if given the chance.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our recent stay at the beautiful Morrisson Hotel. The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood with some amazing restaurants nearby (definitely recommend Mamma Angela's on via Palestro and Cafe Piave on via Piave - as well as nearby La Romana for the best ice cream ever!!). Good transport links and not too far to walk to most sights, although you definitely some comfy shoes!
The hotel is located on the fourth floor of a larger building. There are 5 rooms off the main corridor. Our room was modern and very, very clean.
The bed was comfy and bathroom very modern. My other half had a grumble that the water pressure wasn't the best but I didn't have any complaints. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in the room, along with croissants, but breakfast is also provided at a nearby cafe.
The rooms might be small by Northern American standards, but you won't be spending much time in the room, right? There are no English speaking TV channels but, again, you won't really be sitting in the room all that much!
The only negatives I can say are that the rooms are not well sound proofed and you can hear practically everything going on in your neighbour's rooms and that the WiFi is quite unreliable - don't expect to be able to stream anything!
All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Fantastic.

My Partner and I stayed 4 nights here so we could be near the heart of Rome. No regrets. The staff (all two of them) were very accomodating with our unusual arrival and departure times, and were very welcoming. Our room was quite large (for Europe), very clean and modern.

The provided breakfasts at a nearby cafe were delcious, and were even willing to provide breakfast outside of their normal hours.

Nice and affordable hotel with modern amenities

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and were promptly greeted by a young lady that buzzed us into the building and later the actual hotel property. The building itself looks older and houses other properties and hotels through multiple floors. Be aware that the hotel is on the 4th floor, and although there is an elevator, it can barely fit two people with one large and one small rolling bag. Receptionist explained all the amenities & methods of coming in and out of the hotel. She also pointed out major Rome attractions in a map, as well as recommended places to eat nearby.

The room itself is kept to moderns standards and amenities. Room is a decent size and seems that it would appeal mostly to couples. The bathroom was stocked with hand soap, shampoo, shower cap, toothbrush, etc. The room/bathroom were cleaned daily. Air conditioning can be tweaked from inside the room, or shut off altogether it necessary. There is a queen sized bed with two nightstands with electrical outlets. The hotel staff was kind enough to lend us ITL to US adapters for our phones! Since this is a small local hotel, note that staff is not present 24 hrs, however, they have posted hours and a 24 hr contact number to reach them. Breakfast is in a local coffee shop a mere 5 min walk (approx 2 blocks). You are served orange juice, croissants, and delicious cappuccinos from 7a to 1030a.

Overall a good experience with location, service, and staff. Would definitely stay with Morrisson again if in Rome.

Boutique hotel experience...............

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Morrisson. Yes, it is centrally located and
we could walk to most places of interest. Our breakfast is a pleasant one as the bar man
always created beautiful cappuccino every morning and brought smiles to our day.
The room was clean and pleasant to our liking and nice to have a kettle to make tea with
croissant each day. Such an added feature makes your stay more desirable.
We would certainly recommend it to friends.
Our thanks to the lady who looked after us.

Wonderful, Upscale, Modern Hotel

We had the best time staying at Morrisson Hotel. It felt like we were staying at a five star hotel without having to pay the five star prices :0)The hotel has 5 rooms, so you get very personal attention, but the rooms are very spacious, neat and super clean. I was impressed! The rooms look like they were very recently refinished and have all of the latest modern amenities that you need including an in room safe, room air conditioner and hair dryer in the bathroom. Be advised that although the private en-suite bathroom room is stocked with shampoo and soap daily, you might need to buy/bring your own. We received two tiny shampoo packets per day for the two of us and it just wasn't enough, however it was easily remedied through a trip to the drug store. Breakfast is also included in the price of your stay. Each morning you received a voucher for breakfast (coffee/cappuccino and croissant) at a Bar (for Americans more like a cafe/deli) two short blocks away. Morris, the owner, is amazing! He is so very passionate about sharing his city with you and gives great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. (Try Morris' recommendation: La Famiglia. You won't be disappointed!) We enjoyed seeing Morris every morning and evening and he truly took an interest in us and tried to do everything he could to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The extra effort and personal attention was very much appreciated! I cannot recommend this place enough, it is absolutely a wonderful!

Great Value and Location

The hotel is located in a relatively quiet and secure area of Rome. (There are various embassies in the neighborhood.) Yet, it is also located close to the Metro lines and the main train station and it is very easy to get around to all parts of the city from the hotel. The hosts are great, and are there to provide you will lots of helpful information about the city. Would highly recommend!

Unbelievable rate and nicest room in Europe

This hotel is a fantastic value. The rooms are all brand new and very comfortable. The building is very secure, with the outside door requiring a key, as well as the interior door to the hotel requiring a key code. The owner is very helpful and provides a good overview of where to go in Rome. The location is good as well, close to some very good restaurants and the best gelato place in Rome (La Romana). It is about a 20 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps, about 30 minutes from the Colosseum. The rate for these rooms is absolutely fantastic, and you won't find a cleaner room or a more helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

It's a lovely place with a warm host. Good location,near termini station and very quiet. Fomos bem recebidas no check in pelo simpatico morris que nós deu todas as informações. Morrido são cinco quartos, localizado no quarto andar de um edificio. Tem elevador. Area bem frequentada perto de embaixadas no centro histórico de Roma. A poucos passos de uma gelateria La Romana maravilhosa. Quarto confortavel, bom tamanho , limpíssimo. Com tudo necessario para uma estada confortável. O café da manha é servido a duas quadras e oferecem um café, um croissant é um suco.É perto da estação termini.tinhamos malas grandes e conseguimos fazer a pé

En mycket engagerad hotellägare gjorde vistelsen mycket trevlig, tips om restauranger och sevärdheter i Rom och närområdet var väldigt detaljerade och med inlevelse.
Välstädat rum och ett mycket bra bemötande.
Lite avsides från centrum, men relativt nära Metro-station, betydligt mer prisvärda restauranger i området än turistfällorna i centrum. Helheten mycket god, ett litet minus för frukost som hänvisades till en lokal krog och endast består av kaffe, juice och en croissant.

Das Hotel ist mehr eine umgebaute Wohnung mit sehr schönen Zimmern. Es ist klein (habe nur 4 oder 5 Zimmer gesehen), aber sehr sauber und ideal, wenn man eine saubere, gemütliche Unterkunft zum Übernachten sucht. Wer eine Wellnessoase sucht, der sollte ein grosses Hotel aussuchen. Das Frühstück ist sehr bescheiden und befindet sich in einer kleine Kaffee Bar um die Ecke.

Everything we needed for long weekend holiday

Only negative thing was poor soundproofing in the room. This didn't disturb too much. We slept very well and felt rested in the morning. Staff was very helpful and spoke very good English. I would rent a room from here again. Thank you Morrisson.

A fachada assusta, pois não é de um hotel, mas esse medo vai embora quando entramos no quarto. Confortável, limpo e bem arrumado. Os staffs que tive contato são muito solícitos e simpáticos. Todo dia deixam 2 croissants de cortesia no quarto na hora da arrumação.

Durante a minha estadia, tive alguns problemas que acredito não ser culpa da administração:
- Wi-Fi estava muito ruim na maior parte do tempo. Caia frequentemente (o staff até mostrou um fax que tinha passado para a empresa)
- Faltou água durante uma noite inteira (no outro dia, o staff informou que era uma obra da prefeitura)
A recepção lá não funciona 24h, então quando houve o problema com a água não conseguimos contactar imediatamente (tem um telefone 24h, mas não tinha como ligar. Sugestão: colocar um número com WhatsApp)
Mesmo os problemas acima não sendo culpa do hotel, eles fizeram de tudo para nos deixarem satisfeitos, oferecendo itens do frigobar como pedido de desculpas e check in tardio.

Algumas observações:
- O café da manhã não é buffet e sim itens fixos, o local fica próximo ao hotel, mas não é dentro dele
- Classifico como um excelente B&B, acho que se encaixa mais nessa categoria do que hotel
- Os staffs são super simpáticos e por serem tão preocupados com a experiência do cliente, recomendo o hotel e voltaria nele sim!

Plus: Há menos de 5min do hotel está a melhor gelateria que provei em Roma: Romana. Os sabores de crema e biscoito são espetaculares!

Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb einer Zentralen Lage (im Ghetto).
Es war im Zimmer eisig kalt. Keine Heizung hat funktioniert. Die Rezeption ist nicht wie beschrieben 24h besetzt, somit mussten wir auf komplizierte Art und Weise per Telefon die Angelegenheit klären. Es wurde nicht auf unseren Wunsch eingegangen. Daraufhin haben wir uns entschieden das Hotel zu verlassen und ein anderes auf zu suchen.

מקום נחמד ונגיש לתחבורה ציבורית

ממוקם בקומה רביעית של בית דירות, מכיל כ 4 חדרים.
חדרים לא גדולים אבל מצוידים במקלחת טובה, מיזוג אויר, ארון לבגדים, כספת וקומקום חשמלי עם כוסות ותה/קפה להכנה עצמית ( מאוד נח ומועיל ).
מידי יום מנקים החדר, מחליפים מגבות ושמים שני קוראסונים.
הבעלים נמצא כל יום, מאוד ידידותי ומוכן לעזור.
מיקום המלון טוב מאוד, מחד נמצא ברחוב שקט רחוק כשבסביבה מסעדות טובות ומאידך נגיש מאוד לתחבורה , יש מתחת למלון תחנת אוטובוסים וכן קרוב למטרו A , תחנת רפובליקה ולמטרו B תחנת קסטרו פרטוריו.
סהכ שהות מאוד נעימה .
