It was visable staring over a building and more the city. I paid extra for ocean front and that was the furthest from oceanfront. Considering we’ve stayed before and had ocean front. Very very disappointed. I was placed in a 2 bedroom room when I only booked a 1 bedroom. The whole stay from the start ruined it for me. The room was slightly dirty. Curtains and the one throw pillow. Don’t ask. Barely any utensils. No pizza cutter, scissors or even a pan for the oven. Our floor had a hard wired smoke detector that went off in the hallway for over 24 hours. Unfortunately this will be our last stay after 4 years.

Be warned! I booked this property through Expedia and when I got there, they informed me there was a change in Management, and I had to repay for my stay. They told me I had to contact Expedia to get a refund. I want to make a clear Expedia did a great job responding and trying to contact the hotel and in the end Expedia gave me my refund very promptly, but it’s really frustrating to arrive at a hotel you already prepaid and to be told you have to pay again and then deal with this and spend a hours on the phone while you’re on vacation trying to figure all this out

The location of the property is amazing. On beach. Beautiful area. Very close to Walmart, grocery stores, restaurants, Aventura Mall.
Lobby and pool area very modern and nice. Room was in terrible condition. The whole floor around the room was lifting, looks like repeated water damage. Not clean. Found dirty rags behind furniture. The kitchen items that did come with the kitchen were dirty.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The check-in process was an absolute nightmare, and the staff were completely incompetent. They couldn’t find my reservation and I had to show my confirmation multiple times. I waited over 90 minutes just to check in.
The wristbands never worked properly, and I constantly had to go back to get them rescanned. For the price I paid, this experience was unacceptable. I completely overpaid for what I received.
This hotel is a total waste of money and will ruin your trip. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

we stayed at the Lyfe hotel from Tuesday the February 17th untill today the 20th.
> We called multiple times the service desk beacaise out air conditioner wasn’t working in hotel. Also the bathroom and the bedroom door don’t lock.
> Two people came to look at the air conditioner but couldn’t fix it they told me to talk to management when I checked out. It was close to 80 degrees in the room we couldn’t sleep because it was to hot. Also the rooms didn’t lock which wasn’t private as we had other people with us.

There was NO hot water for a couple of days and elevators were a true nightmare. To go down took on average 10 min wait and on our last day we waited well over 35
Min of an elevator. People we going down the stairs and there was actually traffic on the stairs.

Excellent experience during our stay, the room was spacious and big enough for the family not to stumble over each other constantly. The view from the balcony was postcard worthy! The breeze from the ocean felt great at night, the hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. You will definitely need to plan your elevator trips because the wait can be long at times (depending on the time of day)
The restaurants were all fantastic, the pool on the 9th floor was relaxing.
We had no issue with valet coming in or out.
Will definitely book for next year, hopefully the same room and view!

I was missing a few kitchen items, but my disappointment definitely came from the dirty stained couch that had a smell to it. When I call the front desk, they sent someone up to put a sheet over the couch to cover the dirtiness of it however, when my family members came not only could not fit two people, but they ended up having to spend hundreds of dollars finding somewhere else to stay when I was counting on the advertisement of six people being able to stay in that suite. My family was not prepared to spend that type of money and it made my birthday not the way I expected it to be at all.

The rooms were spacious, and the view was fantastic!! The staff was courteous. The facility was clean and the food was delicious.
I do wish the daily parking and resort fees were included in the booking. Having to pay these fees at checkout can be a little frustrating if you're not prepared.

However there was a terrible system outage while we visited which provided such a hindrance for getting around the resort because we needed an attendant/ staff practically everytime we wanted to leave room or go to room. The room was clean, the view was amazing, the staff was friendly and efficient. The beach service was excellent but they take everything out at 4 pm, I would have liked if they left the chairs a litte longer, until 6pm.
The maintenance was good.
I rated the overall experience with five stars.
In comfort I rated the apartment 4 stars because the kitchen could have more coffeee mugs (there was only one for a three bedroom ) and newer pans, pots and appliances. There was no electric kettle. The filter coffee machine was old and missing pieces, there was a keurig machine in good condition. The pans were old and worn out.

While the property was beautiful, the lack of enough elevators impacted our stay. It was quite obvious that 4 elevators are not sufficient as it took 10 to 15 minutes to get to your room or the pool etc. on top of that the staff used the elevator to go up or down one flight so even when we caught an elevator we were stopping on multiple floors to accommodate the staff. Not a good experience.

The valet parking is really bad. They left my vehicle in park and ran my battery dead. They didn’t even want to refund my payment for the valet. Once we arrived at the hotel they told us we had a certain room number and once we get to the room the keys didn’t work. They gave us the wrong room number and had to get us into the right room. All this took over an hour and having kids under the age of four, this was kind of disappointing having to wait to get to our rooms and get settled. The amenities were nice but the having a suite for 4 people and getting to the beach and trying to get four chairs they wanted to charge us an for the 2 more chairs since they have a policy for only 2 chairs per room.

The pictures that are online was not the pictures of the actual room had to have someone come in and clean the room because it was dirty had extra sheets as Lady was changing the sheets on the bed. She had to get new sheets because her sheets was dirty on her cart. The cleaning lady was extremely nice who came into reclean, but the floors were empty. The walls were filthy and so was the sheet.

The elevator situation was bad. Long wait times to go either up or down.

The complimentary beach chairs and towels are divided in sections. If you rent through Airbnb or with the hotel directly.
Which means if you come with a big party and some reserved different ways you cannot have beach chairs close to each other. The towels are also restricted to be used only in their specific sections. Say you rented through the hotel and want to be with your group that rented through Airbnb, you cannot because it’s a separate section.

There is no ice machine at the resort and the ice makers in the rooms do not produce enough for a beach day.

The TVs are not connected to any WIFI so although it is a smart TV, you cannot use it u less you connect your own device to it with a HDMI cable.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Very little accommodation for a family of 4 travelling over night to arrive at 6:30AM. They made us wait until 4PM for checkin. Their only restaurant on the 9th floor serves a Bagel with Salmon for $27. Had to walk in torrential rains 10min to Enjoy Cafe.
View from the 33rd floor was the best. Elevators take a long time to get there. Valet service takes 15 min to bring your car around. So overall mediocre for the price point.

Beach team super good but during summer it will be good to keep beach chairs and umbrellas at least to 6or 7 pm . First and foremost, I would like to highlight that I contacted the hotel multiple times prior to my stay both via phone call and Expedia message. We had a late flight landing at 12am and expected to arrive at the hotel around 1-2am. I called specifically asking if I needed to pay for the additional night and if I had booked correctly or if early check in was allowed in order to ensure that we would be able to check in immediately and seamlessly to our room upon arrival. However, as we arrived to the hotel to check in at approximately 2AM I was met with confusion from staff and was told there needed to be a note in the system. To which there was, I was told the note included the incorrect date. However, there was no attempt to rectify the situation and our room was apparently booked at the time by someone else. This was an extremely confusing and frustrating experience as someone who is extremely meticulous and detail oriented. We ended up finding a motel in the middle of the night for a few hours in what was apparent to be an unsafe neighborhood (many people walking around intoxicated or under the influence of various substances). I called a few hours later around 8am and explained the situation to 2 additional people who finally said our room was ready. The room it self could use an overall upgrade especially the bathroom and the condition is not as great as the photos suggest. The view was obstructed (7 fl) by the restaurant on the beach so Dulled the experience even more.

Almost all appliances in the room didn’t work, pans and pots were in terrible condition to cook, beds were uncomfortable hard and sheets were dirty, tv didn’t work, hose in shower didn’t work, coffee table was hanging by a thread, futon in living room only big enough for 2 ppl in a 6-7 person suite….called out to front desk a few times and no answer. The elevator was either broken or required a 15 min wait each time. The list goes on. On the bright side, beach and pool staff were courteous. Not the hotel I remember from a few years back

For the cost, not worh it. Paid extra for an oceanfront room but was given a room with a view of a restaurant rooftop AC units that constantly ran and drowned out the sound of the ocean. Was forced to use and pay for valet to park my car - no option for self park. On top of a daily resort fee, was told a $150 extra charge to clean my room when we left. Feel ripped off as the place wasnt that good to require all the extra money we had to spend. Expedia said the resort is allowed to collect private charges - should be called hidden charges. Would not recommend this resort at all.

We started the trip off by the hotel canceling our stay but they were able to correct it pretty quickly. The hotel was a little run down and it took on average 30 minutes to get an elevator every single time we used it. It was very nice to have a two bedroom apartment style room with beach views so the trip wasn’t too bad. They did have a lot of rules pertaining to your “status” and we had to wear wristbands to show our status. Luckily we were considered a little higher status since we were hotel guests but we still couldn’t use the lounge chairs in the sun ocean side on the pool deck. Overall review, great place for two bedrooms and privacy but absolutely no frills.

We liked the atmosphere of the hotel. The room could have been cleaner upon check-in. We also did not like that the pool closed early and on beautiful nights the kids had to come out when they could’ve enjoyed the pool longer as it was still sunny and nice outside. We did find some of the food options at the restaurant by the pool too expensive. They were nice to have some specials here and there that are more affordable.

Rooms were nice but the outside balcony had a piece broken and only a desk pushed against it and zip ties held the piece together….it was scary.Tub had dirty rust marks, toilet kept clogging, room wreaked of marijuana, not enough beach chairs or pool chairs. Having valet tell us 20 min to wait for our car after we already have waited for the one elevator to go downstairs was ridiculous when we have to get to the airport. Also the king bedroom the shade was broken so we couldn’t even look out from the king bed. We talked to the front desk and was told someone would come up and fix it and they put a temporary fix on it and unraveled again while we sat in the room. They said no one would be able to fix it until the day we left. Also the balcony seating was awful. Cushions were dirty and mismatched. The pool and beach bar service were wonderful and always asking if we needed something. One pretty blonde pool bar worker didn’t tell us the tip was already included…my husband tipped her on top of already being tipped and she never said a word…I thought that was distasteful.

The room was very nice , elevator took for ever we notice stairs even for one floor , there was no door ? Not every level so we had to wait sometime 15 minutes for elevator ! Other yhing we said it was our 25th wedding anniversary; not a single attention . Even worse my wife asked for a quiet room they give us the 10th floor directly over the swimming pool and DJ's it was so noisy the first night we couldn't sleep, i wrote them for that reason on the very first day , again nothing ! Very disappointing for the price we pay . People seems like they didnt want to help at front desk , some says it's not us go see the next one etc..

Great, but not so great!!

We stayed 6 nights on the 33rd floor. The elevators were extremely slow. We had to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes just to get into one. The front desk told us the pool was open until 10p.m. on Saturday, but the staff on the 9th floor pool deck closed it at 7:30 pm. We were able to get a lounge chair and umbrella everyday on the beach, the guys out there are amazing. We did get charged extra for \"administrative\" fees, we have no clue what that was. The valet parking was fantastic and very easy to use.

Sobrevalorado en todo sentido. Reserve ocean view, incluso haciendo upgrade solo tuvimos partial ocean view. Primera experiencia en un HOTEL Resort sin servicio de house keeping, de hecho, hacen un irracional cargo extra para la limpieza (a la salida) cuando la habitación desde la entrada olía muy mal y las alfombras sucias. Cobran los requeridos resort fees de costumbre en un “hotel resort” que para cuatro huéspedes proveen dos sillas de playa y una toalla, (aparentemente debíamos esperar media hora para más toallas) que nunca llegaron. El parking irracionalmente caro por noche, el personal poco educado ademas. Mi error no haber leído los reviews antes de reservar y pagar de más por un mediocre servicio. Definitivamente no regresaría ni lo recomiendo

Buen hotel con muy linda vista y buena atencion. Cierre de piscina 6 de la tarde me hubiese gustado una o dos horas mas ya q es el mejor lugar del hotel q tiene pocas opciones de distracción.

Great location on the beach. Tough to get use to the wrist bands, parking, elevators. The poolis great, the restaurant was very good and the building is superb,,,, one problem, sorry to say, a lot of the staff spoke NO english at all.
