Our room was very clean as was the lobby, the elevator could have used a wipe down but otherwise everything was clean & welcoming. The staff was very prompt and helpful, profession & courteous. Breakfast selection was great! So good! Some areas (bathroom corners) show wear from time & the bathroom lighting could be better. Overall we were very pleased with our room & the Inn.

I only stayed a couple of nights, there were kids running up and down the hallways being loud late into the evening, past 10pm. While they were being kids I guess the staff made zero efforts to tell them to keep it down a bit and no running in the hallways.

Parking was easy and the hotel is conveniently located near the highway. The room had a persistent musty smell. It's possible that somebody overflowed the hot tub at one point and soaked the carpet. Regardless, it was not a pleasant smell. There was hair in the hot tub, including what looked like a long beard whisker near the drain. Also, there were items that appeared to look like they were thrown toward the trash can in the bathroom that were on the floor. One of them was a clothing tag from newly purchased clothing and the other one looked like a straw wrapper. These items were still on the floor in the bathroom when I took possession of the room. They just need to do a better job cleaning and pay better attention to detail. The room was okay, the bed was okay, but it was all just okay. The hotel overall looks like it needs to be spruced up a bit.

Hello, I write this review with honesty. If I was able to leave a no review, I would. Once arriving and checking in, the staff at the front desk welcomed us nicely. No issues there. We were given a room on the first floor close to the pool. As we opened the door, we were greeted with a smell. It was a moldy/humid smell that filled the room. We then checked the bathroom, and it was messy. The floor, counter and toilet were dirty. The shower head sprayed water everywhere when turned on. The bath towels had stains in areas. The carpet was dirty and could have used a vacuum. We then went to the bed to check it out. We undid the sheets to check for anything that stood out. We saw a bunch of loose hairs and makeup stains on the pillowcases. Then the worst happened at night, after taking a shower, we laid down on the bed at 10pm. As we laid there, we started to feel itchy. We tossed and turned all night and couldn’t fall asleep. The following morning, we took showers but the itchiness continued all day. We believe it was fleas. We left early the following morning.

Our in room mini fridge had someone’s leftover Buffalo Wild Wings chicken that smelled awful. The room was decent but the bathroom was not clean. The pool didn’t open until 40 min after the open time giving my kids less time to swim before checkout. When I went to check out two girls were sitting around the corner just talking about personal stuff and a man had to tell them twice I had been standing there waiting. Would not book this location again.

The tub tile surround was cracked & the shower rod was about to fall off. There was evidence of mold in the caulking and on the ceiling, most likely from too much humidity.

I have had a good experience. Check in was efficient. The room was spacious and quiet. The water heated up quickly. Water pressure was strong. I like the way they have soap dispensers now (and shampoo, conditioner and lotion dispensers) as opposed to soap bars which get single occupant uses and then thrown away before the next guest.

This room does have ceramic floor tile that have popped loose near the water closet that must be fixed. Also a general comment, Holiday Inn Express’s do not have a fan in the bathrooms, rather only a vent. A running shower steams up the mirror immediately so it constantly needs to be wiped after a shower. The sink faucet is too close to the mirror so the mirror gets bumped sometimes when turning the faucet on/off.

Our room looked fairly clean but the bathroom floor was dirty, tub had dirt streaks all over the sides. I was afraid to lift the tub mat! the sink and counter felt scummy. Toilet was clean as far as we could tell. When we told the front desk how dirty the bathroom was, she just said she’d have it checked. Not a very good response in my opinion.

The hotel is a very short distance from many activities (Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati, antique shops, etc.)

The only complaint I have probably seems insignificant but I do dislike that the bathrooms don’t have a working exhaust fan. The mirror fogs up easily after showers due to this.

Let’s just say $325.00 for a two night stay that you end up wondering if they have even cleaned the place in the last five-ten years and the strong odor of older gentleman’s cologne lingers the whole time I was are there- it doesn’t really fit the bill. While I looked forward to the complimentary breakfast, hoping it might make up for the lack luster (and really not clean) room, there wasn’t much offered and the few things that were offered were mediocre at best, sorry to say so.
The much needed get away and two night break from my two year old twins was met with loud screaming and pounding on doors by a group of young kids and then loud parents - I’m glad they were having fun! Just hard for those trying to get some much needed sleep at 10:30-11 at night!
Stale goldfish for sale, later noticed they were expired…jeepers people.

Room was quiet and comfortable, the last day of our 3 day stay there was a centipede that was on the shower curtain. After I saw the little guy I jumped into action, put on my exterminator clothes and took care of our unwanted guest . When checking out I reported it to the front desk and was told that happens frequently when the air conditioning units were running. I wasn’t very impressed with management’s response. Other than that, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable

Very quick check-in (numerous other hotels could learn from this place), good sized room, alarm clock with the good red digits (vs. White or green that cash shadows), nice laundry facilities, except for no large surface for folding clothes, quiet inside hotel but highway noise went all night, thank goodness for HVAC with the constant fan option to drown out some of the highway noise. Good amenities in the room.

The bathroom needs updated. There was pink stuff in each of the corners in the bathtub. Also there was stains on the bathtub floor. The toilet looked like there was pee in it when we first arrived. The carpet in the main part needed cleaned. We did think that the bed were very comfortable.
