I did not even want to take a shower there because I felt gross and did not think that the shower would get me clean enough. First off, my terrible experience is not about the front desk staff or the room cleaning staff, this is all about overall management and state of the rooms. When we got to our room, the bathroom door was stuck open because it was completely off the track and the security latch on the front door was broken in two. I asked to switch rooms because the first one was totally not safe. The second room (THANKFULLY - you'll see why) had a functioning security latch on the front door, and had a bathroom door that closed 98% of the way but still didn't lock. By the time we left I had discovered more really gross things: booger on the wall, chewed up gum stuck to the bedpost, a dirty towel behind the toilet, a donut under the bed, flaking tub pieces, and mold on the bathroom ceiling. When I asked for more towels, they gave me towels that were clean but DAMP. During the stay our keys were deactivated TWICE and I had to bring them back again to the front desk. Middle of the night, someone unlocked the door but couldn't come in because we had the safety latch closed. I went to the front desk about it (I was already there reactivating keys) and they said they didn't know anyone was in our room so they gave it to another guest (or tried to).

Besides the young man at the front desk, everything else was terrible. Room and mattresses in mold, little kitchen with old pieces of food on the wall and microwave. Just disgusting in general. We usually say that you get what you pay for but in this case I would stop there again for free. Luckily the front desk clerk was able to bring a cot with a clean mattress for us to use because one of the beds had a fully moldy mattress and there was no way to sleep on it. It was late at night and also did not have the option to go elsewhere. They also have signs that they are not responsible for if someone breaks in your car. At first I though it was standard to place signs like that until I saw a bunch of teenagers walking form car to car and pulling on the door handles. Look for better places to stay if you can.

The room ins only cleaned once per week. If you want fresh towels daily you need to bring used ones to the front desk for new ones. Breakfast Bar is only packaged granola bars, muffins and coffee. Rooms not that great, probably no updates since it was built. I had to get pillows for the bed from the front desk, none were on the bed at arrival. Lastly, be sure to lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables in them at all. Avoid this property if you can, definitely don't bring a family here.

No pool as advertised. We were supposed to have two beds and only got a room with one bed and a pull-out couch. The couch bed had stains. They need to make aesthetic repairs. The staff was kind and showed me the room before I decided to stay. It was clean, no bugs. We decided to stay because we needed a place to sleep for 5 hours. Had dance comp and not time for travel back home.

Checked in late Saturday and TV and phone not working. They said they will fix it tomorrow. Late return and they said that the maintenance man didn’t come in and gave me a different room. At least the tub isn’t pealing and looks filthy like the other room. Exterior is riddled with overflowing trash cans and a pee bottle in the parking lot. At least it was only $278 for four nights. Clientele is from the rough side of the tracks. First night awoken by yelling in the hallway. The light fixtures in the room are trashed and the overall appearance is run down and is in need of remodeling. Probably hasn’t been updated in 30 years. Second room the bathroom sink was clogged and took forever to drain.

Room was falling apar. non functional bathroom pocket door, dirt, grime and dead bugs all over the floor. The sink and shower curtain were coming off the bathroom wall. Door lock was broken in half and still hanging on the door itself. No AC in room or unit. Extended stay without tue amenities-not even a hairdryer. Woke up to expect breakfast-dining area was dark. Nothing avaliable and the entire frint enferance and lobby was pungent with the smell of marijuana.

room was left dirty, floors were all sticky, food on the walls and on the ceiling and dishwasher drain hose line was disconnected from the garbage disposal and while washing the dishes water came flowing out from the bottom of the cabinet under the sink.I re attached but will need secured with a screw driver. My fiance went to walmart and bout a mop to re clean the sticky floors and wipe down the food on the walls.We ended up leaving a day early

The hotel is independently owned and is poorly maintained. The bathtub was visibly dirty, chipped, and outdated, raising serious cleanliness concerns. Overall upkeep is lacking, and customer service does not seem to be a priority. The “breakfast” offered was a grab-and-go muffin, which was disappointing and not worth the price of the stay. I would not recommend this property.

This place was a nightmare from the moment I walked in. The hallways reeked of cigarettes, and there were cigarette butts all over the ground like no one even bothers to clean. The shower had hair in it—clearly not cleaned after the last guest—and to top it off, there were exposed wires right next to the air conditioner! Completely unsafe and filthy. I don’t know how this place is even allowed to stay open. Do yourself a favor and stay far away!

Booked a room for my spouse around 11:55 pm. At 12 am booking was auto canceled. I received no notification of cancelation. My spouse arrived at 1:30 am exhausted and they did not let her check in. Staff said she must call the next day for resolution but they charged her for the hotel room at the end without stay. Expedia also could not help as they had charged Expedia. I and Expedia staff called the hotel and I faced with a terrible customer care. Hotel manager also refused to provide a refund. Real bad experience booking a hotel room there.

The hall ways smelled horrible. The rooms were dirty. And I my card stopped working so I went to the front desk and the guy working was sleeping in the back with his tv up so loud he couldn’t hear me yelling for him. I called the front desk to wake him from my phone and it went unanswered. Finally my bf has to go into the office and wake him and he had a very bad attitude pushing my bf. Then the key card still didn’t work so I had to go back down and he wouldn’t come to the desk instead he asked what I wanted from the back room. When I told him it was still not working he said well don’t put it near your phone. I informed him I didn’t. He had a bad attitude and shouldn’t be working there. He didn’t even answer the phone.

Cheap, Clean, with Friendly Staff, but Outdated

My stay here was okay, probably better than I expected when I arrived on the premises. The staff are excellent - very friendly and doing the best that they can. The room was outdated but pretty clean. The furnishings are old and part of my shower broke on my last day there (and the staff were very accommodating and allowed me to shower in another room). Had I looked a little harder, I could have found a more modern hotel at the same price. If you are going cheap because you basically only need a place to sleep and shower, then this is doable, but I'd take the time to find something more comfortable and updated and even pay a little more.

Your absolute cheapest option to get a lot of people out of the weather and into beds at the same time. Which of course comes with some tradeoffs--deferred maintenance, a bricked-in pool, an array of unpleasant smells as you walk down the hall, etc. I did not see any vermin and the sheets were clean. I booked this hotel well in advance. Upon reaching after 6 hours of driving, the staff says there’s no room at 9:30pm !! Upon requesting to grant the room, they just straight away rejected stating no rooms. They sent to another hotel nearby which is shabby and small room with no space to sleep for 4 members!!

The staff was kind. However the facility was very dirty. The whole building smelt like smoke and the room smelt verh strongly of mildew. The sheets and bedding felt damp, the rooms floors were filthy, i wiped up a small water spill and the wash clothe was so dirty afterwards. You could hear every single noise from surrounding rooms and the yard was in severe need of beind mowed. Staff was friendly and that was the only positive. I would not reccomend staying here to others.

I would normally just leave and find somewhere else but all the hotels were booked. If you are allowing independent ownership thats great, with that, your name is on the hotel there may need to be a standard of cleanliness that should be monitored. Found someone’s sock behind a dresser in our room. Crumbs on and in couch and pull out bed. Shower was dirty. The fire alarm went off at 8 in the morning so I woke my son up and rushed him down the stairs just to find out it was a false alarm. They advertise breakfast, but it is only packaged muffins, granola bars and packaged oatmeal along with coffee. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely will not be back.

This property is really shabby looking. My room reeked of cigarette smoke( for a non-smoking room) and the window was open to allow the room to air out. The screen was bent and broken. The bed was a metal frame, like a cot, attached to the wall with a mattress thrown on top-no box springs. I turned around and went right back downstairs to request a refund. The front desk was very apologetic as I told them the photos did not represent the property. I relocated to another hotel on the same block. The property in this review worked with Expedia that same evening to process my refund. I do not recommend this property.

Worse experience ever. Front desk lady that greeted me was nice after that was terrible. Toilet was broken, wouldn't flush. Mind you have a famiky of 5. Had a critter in the shower with us in the morning. Top of toilet was broken. Tried to upload pictures to show the disgusted of the room and it won't let me. Never been some where this bad ever. Fronr desk lady in morning not helpful at all. Front desk lady was worried I was going to complaining about a spot outside my room. Well I tell you what that spot is nothing compared to the disaster of my room. I felt so bad for my grandchildren having to sleep there. Room 308 The fold out bed mattress look like it was from the 80 it was stained so badly and had dirt on the mattress. The rubber molding on the walls I. My room was coming off. Which could simply be fixed by glueing it. The only reason why we could not get a different hotel was because we were constantly in and out due to my son had prom that night. If you called the front desk we were charged $1.00 pre call.The living room tv was a small square and could not get it working right would not zoom out. The lady that was working that night was wound full she was very professional and pleasant to work with. I would like at least half of my money back.

Overall, this was one of the more disappointing hotel stays I have had in several years. The pictures misrepresented the current conditions of the hotel. For example, it needed basic maintenance. The doors stuck and were hard to open. The continental breakfast was pitiful - only coffee and chocolate muffins. The air quality was very poor and felt stagnant. The worst part of the hotel was the noise levels. While people were talking at normal levels in the hallway, their conversations were loud inside the hotel room. I woke up multiple times while sleeping from hearing people talking in the hallway. It was loud enough that I wondered if someone had entered my room. There appeared to be no sound barriers. Overall, I strongly recommend not staying here. There are nicer places in the area with better value for dollar. The facility is dilapidated, which is fine, not every property can be new. But, the room was disgusting. Pubic hair on the toilet walls and bathroom door. Room smelled of mold and although the facility is "non-smoking", the hallways reaked of cigarette and marijuana.

The staff was friendly and check-in and check-out was easy.

You may wonder why we stayed once we arrived, but unfortunately it was a last minute trip ao we had to take our dog with us. This was our only option.
