I was given a smoking room but I didn’t ask for one. Boy did it stink! Even the bedding reaked of cigarette smoke. We were exhausted and didn’t want to get back into our car and drive all the way around to the front of the building to talk to the foreigner behind the glass so we made do. Very small room and bathroom but it was clean otherwise.

This hotel is a dump. Parking lot has large potholes. Exterior doors are faded and look beat to hell. The whole property gave off a bedbug, unsafe, sex and drug trafficking vibe. I didn't even get out of my vehicle; went another hotel near Kenwood.

The pictures did not depict the actual look. I was actually very nervous and quite frankly, never stayed in a hotel like this. It was more like a motel! I didn't feel safe and prayed no one broke into my car or room. Very disappointed...wanted to leave but most everything was booked. Will not recommend.

Non-smoking room smelled so much of smoke, it was burning my throat. It actually smelled like someone was actively smoking in it even though I was the only person in the room. Lighting was bad, bathroom had cigarette burns on the fixtures. There is no lobby - just a window that you interact with the attendant through. I wasn't expecting a 5-star stay, but I was expecting a basic, clean room and a common area that was safe and inviting. I will give the one staff member I interacted with credit, because he understood my complaints and offered me a full refund. I was only on the property for about an hour while I found other accommodations. I would not recommend this property.

We were staying a weekend. At the time we stayed, they were renovating. That's great. . But we had no Ice Bucket in the room and when we asked for one they had none. Of course that was not a big deal. The vending machines were out of order so no cold drinks. When I asked for extra towels, they had none. We couldn't even get towels to shower the next day. Not even a wash cloth. No cleaning staff over the weekend. I don't know if this is new or something every place is doing. No big deal but I should have been able to get clean towels. Over all it was just ok.

You get what you pay for, I was in a non smoking room and the entire room reeked of cigarettes, they ran out of towels upon check in and said they wouldn’t get anymore. Not to mention the people in the room next to me kept his door open, smoked weed and blasted music.

Although I booked the room for four nights, I checked out after just one. There was hair in the sink leftover from someone's shave; there was thick dust/dirt on the shelves where the towels were stacked; the room had a stale cigarette smell to it (possibly from prior years of smoking); the toilet seat was broken; the only pant hanger was broken; and there was a dampness to the room that the air conditioning couldn't dry out.

The customer service was okay . I think it's horrible when they have to come get the towels and rags that is in the wrong way. You get there so the next day if you want new ones. They have to get the ones that are already in your room and wash them and then return them to you. You don't get new ones when they take the old ones away. And then they do not come every day to get the towel and rags or when you meet them too. So I had to go and buy towels in rags . And then I had to go and wash the rags and towels from the hotel. Because they only come two days from what I was told by one of the person clean the rooms.

We were charged twice and I had to spend so much time on the phone to get a refund for the second charge. Then at 1am staff tried entering our room waking up two children 2 and 4. I called and they said that they thought I checked out at 1am? It made no sense and we couldn’t get much sleep. Overall the experience took away from our trip.

The pictures online are NOT AT ALL what the property looks like in person. The whole place smelled like cigarettes. I opened the door to the room, strong odor of cigarettes like someone was just in there smoking. Bedding had numerous burn holes in it. I didn’t even go inside, this is what I noticed when I opened the door. I turned around and asked for a refund. The only thing I could give a five stars to was the desk clerk. The person was friendly, nice, and understanding. My reservation was for a non smoking room….I don’t think they have such a thing.

The entire property smells of smoke (cigarette and other). Images indicate rooms have mini fridges, but there is not one (hope my food doesn’t spoil). The bed is a cheap platform, something I would expect from a property with an average review of 4-5, not 8. The toilet seat has burn marks. The shower works, but the water pressure is low. I’m thankful for the latch lock, because the whole place has the feel of a seedy motel, far from the traveler appropriate hotel experience I was expecting after a long day of driving. The only positives about the property are the location, the night clerk was kind, professional, and efficient, the linens (sheets, towels, etc) appeared clean, and it is pet friendly. I chose the property based on very convenient location and high reviews rating. I am very disappointed.

I left that place completely congested and with my clothes smelling really bad of cigarettes because my room was terrible when I got there with that smell. I don’t smoke. DIRTY everywhere, the tablet, the chairs, the toilet, the sink. For using them, I had to take wipes and hand sanitizer and cleaned them by myself. I understand that it’s not a 5 star hotel, but it doesn’t mean that it has to be that bad. Never again.

I was very disappointed when I went into my room, the pictures online were very deceiving and they made the rooms look way nicer than they were, there was no fridge in my room, no microwave, no dresser, no iron and ironing board and no closet, it was like going to a hotel, from the 1980's, this place is way overdue, for a complete renovation!!!!

This property did not look like the pictures once inside. Lots of sketchy behaviors going on outside of the building. Drug use, dogs tied up to the doors, etc. Multiple different cars in and out of property after only being there a short amount of time. Smoke smell even in the nonsmoking rooms. Very loud after 11pm not due to traffic but other occupants/people outside. 10/10 do not recommend. Ended up staying one night and leaving early instead of stay our whole stay.

Our non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke, we were given one roll of toilet paper for a 3-night stay, and were met with attitude and unprofessional behavior when we went to the front desk to ask for more. The staff was almost hardly at the front desk, and when they were, they were rude. Not the worst hotel, but definitely far from the best.

It was fine for overnight, 12 hour stay. Nothing fancy, but I'd didn't pay or expect anything fancy. Property was, fairly recently I guess, a Motel 6. Fortunately the Cable TV and Wi-Fi ha been upgraded. Front desk employee was helpful and friendly.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If I could I would rate it a -5. I had pulled off the sheets to check to see if there were any stains on the mattress or mattress pad and to check for bugs. It felt like a place you would rent hourly.

The ratings of 4 or 5 I find suspect as this is not at all what would expect from a hotel. The management comment \"to excuse the construction as renovations are going on\" is had to believe considering there was not construction equipment, no indication any type of renovations was occurring.

I didn't even stay in the hotel, I left!

Here are the reasons why I would not recommend this hotel:
1. Room was dirty
2. Room smelled like smoke (had a nonsmoking room)
3. Holes in the sheets
4. Stains on the comforter
5. Towels smelled
6. Didn't feel safe
7. Curtains didn't cover the entire window

The only clean thing was the bedding. The space was dirty and old and smelled like it had been smoked in for 40 years! The ‘lobby’ was dirty, and the staff was unkempt.
3 bath towels and one washcloth was all that we got for a 3-night stay.
It doesn’t deserve the 2-star rating - would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

The worst place I’ve ever stayed, the smoke free room had burn holes in the bed and on the floor the bathroom was gross and at 4:30am we were awoke to what sounded like a murder upstairs and had to leave right then for our safely not even 2 hours of sleep and yes called the police when we left called the front desk and they were more mad because we dident stay and complain over the hotel phone so they could stop it. Worst place not safe! Do not stay!

\"non\" smoking room reeked of smoke. Ashes in bed and on counter and back of toilet. Sheets full of little burn holes. Fingernail in sheets. Overhead light randomly turned on 3 times in the night. Toilet not bolted down and rocked sideways everytime. Bathroom light did not turn on at all. Has booked 2 nights but we abandoned after the first night. Would give 0 stars and notify corporate. Hopefully they shut down so no one else has the misfortune of thinking this is the actual quality of a Days Inn and gets trapped there.

I will never book thru Expedia again. My online printed receipt/booking says my card would be charged $56.66 but it was charged $270.71. Days Inn staff says they know nothing about what Expedia charges as none of Expedia data that info crosses over from Expedia to their computers. So I paid $170.71 to stay in a filthy place,,,TV wouldn’t work, drain in bathtub wouldn’t hold water, overhead lights wouldn’t come on, only 1 washcloth and 1 towel, no bath mat, cigaret burns on side of bathtub and bedside tables. It was just awful but I got there too late to go find another place so I had to stay. Never book thru Expedia,,,,they should be ashamed for even representing such places as this!

This is an OLD and RUN DOWN property. No coffee maker, no microwave, no facial tissues, furniture was shabby and missing edging pieces on all the pieces (particle board furniture), NO luggage stand, bed was lumpy, human hair on chairs and top sheet, hole in the wall with pieces chipped out, piece missing from floor, no alarm clock, desk clerk was outside vaping when we arrived, OVERPRICED AT $114.00 !!! Outrageous. I don't recommend staying here. I took photos and would post if I could. NO quality control what so ever...

Unfortunately, safety was NOT first at this hotel. The deadbolt on the door would not engage, the safety latch was broken, and there was a gap between the door and the frame. The smoke detector was also covered in plastic. It appears this property very recently was another chain and the only update made was a coat of paint.

Upon arriving at the property, my friends and I were extremely disappointed by the condition of the grounds. I approached the receptionist's desk to express my concerns, but the receptionist didn't seem to be concerned at all. After receiving our keys, we went up to the room only to find that we had been placed in a dangerous situation. The door appeared to have been kicked in from the outside and the property manager did not take the time to repair the door Properly, which raised serious security concerns for me and made my friends very uncomfortable and afraid to stay there. Furthermore, the room was not clean at all. I was really surprised that Expedia had this hotel listed on their website due to how rundown and unclean this property is. I will not be using Expedia for anything else, and I will also make sure that everyone I know is aware of this situation. I am disappointed.

The room was recently remodeled poorly done period. They could’ve expanded the bathroom the toilet practically sits in the shower. The first day I had to actually go to the desk and get toilet paper embarrassing because there was hardly anything on the roll. The towels were small and rough. This is an old motel 8 and that is how it’s ran. I had to talk to staff through a glass window. They were rude. The room smelled like dog and cigarette smoke. There was a broke down car that someone was working on in the parking lot out side my window. It is not what you see advertised.
