The hotel was undergoing renovations in the lobby and on the first floor, so the atmosphere was unsightly, dirty, and noisy. It is baffling why they charged the full rate for the stay. The breakfast was described as \"very good,\" but this was simply not true. All of this completely ruined the mood.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites February 14 -15 to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my husband who has never stayed at any location. Therefore, imagine how disappointed I was when entering the lobby area to see construction being done. My heart sank because I bragged about the beauty of the hotel. The room was nice and I had some excitement to know that the complimentary happy hour and breakfast is still provided. However, when we went to breakfast it was nothing like I have experienced in the past at other Embassy Suites. The waffles were hard and dry, the potatoes were barely warm, and I was informed there wasn’t an omelet station which was another thing I bragged about to my husband. At this point I was highly disappointed and felt the need to reach out to a manager, Chase, by email about these issues. I sent the email Monday, February 16th and I still haven’t heard anything from him. If I had known construction was being done I would have booked a room at the Embassy Suites in Covington or another hotel since the romantic mood was hindered. I was considering having this Embassy Suites hotel as a venue for my wedding since my husband and I got married at the courthouse. However, this experience has caused me to want to look at other places. Hopefully, the construction will be completed soon so they will be able to get back to business and service as usual.

I stayed at Embassy on Friday, February 6th and the telephone in the room was not connected. I called the front desk they said they would send someone up but they never came.
I stayed again on Saturday, February 7th and the television in the bedroom didn't work. Maintenance came up to try and fix it, but he could not fix it.

It would have been nice to know it was a mid-renovation disaster with jackhammers, plastic taped up everywhere and restricted entrances. Most if not all of our group did not get our rooms cleaned Wednesday and the towels looked dingy and gray and were all frayed on the edges. Beds and pillows were very comfortable though challenging to get in as they were almost touching the walls.

So they are in the middle of renovations so they can’t help that but it would have been nice to know. My first room the sing was clogged and full of brown stuff so they switched our rooms. The second room there was stains all over the couch and there was a cup of cigarettes butts on our balcony so that tells me they don’t clean very well either.

We stayed on the fifth floor, which was the recently remodeled floor. Wish there was another mirror besides in the bathroom. It’s not very practical only having one mirror. Also, I think that the room was remodeled, but the mattress and pillows needed to be updated as well. Our mattress sank down in the middle. The bedding for the pullout couch needed to be updated as well.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We did not voice our concerns to them.

My sister and I stayed there over the weekend. We found our room terribly dirty. Simone ne fed to get in there and do a good cleaning. It looks as if they just do a half
- a**ed job. The bathroom floor was dirty and so was the carpet.

There was a very LOUD event going on there and there really shouldn’t be anyone on the first floor across the way from the ballroom. We couldn’t sleep until they stopped the music. It was frustrating. We wanted a relaxing weekend away from home and we got the party of the lifetime that we didn’t want to be invited to.

We won’t be back.

I was not impressed, which is surprising as I typically really like Embassy Suites. My A/C was not working well. The hotel sent up a repair person, but it didn't get cooler. There was a decent sized wet spot on the carpet behind the desk. Finally, the shower and shower curtain sucked. Bed was comfy and staff was very nice. Breakfast was delicious. Still, I won't be back.

Couch was stained dirty.,bathroom ceiling tile had like a trap door to get to the pipes kept falling open after maintenance tried to fix it so he just left it open and made us feel a little creepy about it. We stayed on 4th floor looking up all the 5th floor was covered in plastic looking down the fountain was old not working so made bad appearance. I was disappointed inside but outside was okay.

The breakfast was a highlight with the omelets made to order. The balcony was a waste of money. The sliding glass doors were almost impossible to see out of. The bedroom being located in the back of the room was great. This made the loud adults drinking and yelling in the 1st floor area palatable. HIGHLY recommend you request 4th or 5th floor for that reason. Lastly, the air conditioning was less than adequate. The reason we chose this hotel was the price. Well worth it.

I like to stay at an Embassy Suite when I have the opportunity. My kids and I really like the omelette and pancakes cooked to order each morning. Plus there are lots of other options. Drinks and snacks in the evening are another nice amentiy offered from this hotel. Rooms are large and I would definitely recommend a stay at an Embassy suites.

When we first arrived & got to our room, it was 82 degrees. I went down to the front desk & they did have maintenance come up promptly to reprogram the thermostat. The pull out sofa was not comfortable at all. Ended up putting the bed back in the couch & sleeping on the couch. One reason we chose this hotel was the fact they were to provide a shuttle to the Red’s games, but the website was incorrect, due to new management. Overall, I would say it was average at best.

Wow... what a disappointment!! Please do not be fooled by the pool!! Absolutely no where near as nice as the photos!
There was a full on party in the lobby! All day, and all night! We opened our door each day to a literal PARTY! loud music, dancing, eating... not going to lie, kind of wish we were at the party. Lol. But definitely not ideal for having a 7 month old tagging along. Our room advertised a mini bar. Definitely was no minibar. Check in was a hassle! The worker was extremely annoyed at the fact i was using cash, and the website clearly states they accept cash.. so from the first second of our stay we already felt like a burden, to the point of feeling uncomfortable walking past the front desk... would not recommend this place to anyone. Mainly based on the attitude of front desk worker at check-in. Made it very uncomfortable from the beginning. But also, these photos are very misleading. Expectations definitely no where near met.

Not Hilton Quality – Do Better

As a Hilton Honors member, this stay was a huge letdown. I had to call the front desk three times before anyone answered. When I finally checked in, the room was dirty—trash in the bin, crumbs on the floor, stained carpet, gnats flying around. TV and Wi-Fi didn’t work, and I was told to bring my laptop downstairs to connect. Seriously?

Customer service was just as bad. When I called for toothpaste, the front desk woman answered like I’d called her personal phone and made me feel like a burden for asking.

This place is rundown and unprofessional. I was traveling solo for a funeral and deserved a clean, safe, and respectful environment. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this building. I’ll be contacting corporate.

Skip this hotel. Not worth your money or stress.

Very crowded with sports teams! Saturday night the lobby was busy and loud well past 10PM. Elevators are slow and crowded, pool is small and crowded. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant has very limited menu. Continental breakfast is good, but there are no vending machines and a water is $4 from the front lobby.
