This was an amazing experience, and there’s so much to do!

The property is beautiful and the baths are clean but need more live and a little upgrade.

Beautiful resort, l’ll back there

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort! The location by the lake is incredibly beautiful, especially in the evening when the jacuzzis light up and create such a relaxing atmosphere. The poolside lunches were excellent, delicious, and beautifully served. The rooms were clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The staff was polite, friendly, and attentive. We truly enjoyed everything and would love to come back.

I would have to give this a 5/10 review.
Biggest problem is the housekeeping (no cleaning done, no toilet paper, no refill of coffee pods). Hot tubs have a strange unpleasant odour and look like repair is needed, no jets that work properly either.
The location is nice! But some things have to be done to make this a 4 or 5 * hotel.

We booked a room overlooking the lake and immediately asked for another room because there was an overwhelming smell of something leaking or chemicals. We unfortunately did not get another room with the lake view, but the staff was very helpful and site had its perks. Food at the restaurant was amazing! The beds were very comfortable, but didn’t appreciate all the loud cars and motorcycles doing top speed in front of the hotel after midnight. That was the major disadvantage of being on the street side. Would definitely go back, only if I could guarantee that I got a lake side with no toxic smell.
Jillian
For the most part the resort is really lovely and staff are welcoming.
I do want to call out that I had booked two rooms under same reservation. The couple we were travelling with arrived before me and checked in. They were told that they could use rooms beside each other but would be very close (one room apart) I was told the same thing when I checked in but we realised we were staying on completely different floors. When we went back to ask about this, the front desk doubled down on there being no other rooms available. It was really disappointing. The floor we were staying it was clear the rooms were empty on either side. Seemed just like a really weird thing to not let us have rooms beside each other, especially as it was made under one reservation. Think the resort should do a better job at this.

A good 4.5 stars. Restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner are good. Shoutout to Dominic at the omelette station. He gives an excellent service. The young man at the activity centre(fresh towels), with shaved hair, also gave an excellent service. Room was clean. Bathroom as well, except a couple spots on the bathroom walls. Some towels were stained, but the staff were quick to fix the situation. Certain beams supporting balconies need a little TLC & paint, so does certain outdoor baths. The hooks could also be more spaced from each other. Outdoor staff could also be more attentive to kids being in the Adult-Only pool, and wet towels on the ground for multiple hours. You get a sense that with more minute attention to detail, the place could be a 5 stars. We were not accompanied by children, but there could be more activities planned for them. Although it’s a resort, with the wine tasting and other activities more adult focused, I would not recommend going with children. It’s more of a relaxing couples vibe. All in all, I recommend this establishment and I had a good relaxing time.

More like a convention center than a resort for couples. The walls are really thin and restaurant are okay, but not worth the price.

Always a good time at l'Esterel Resort. LOVE the place. It's my home away from home. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. Room amenities need upgrades.

The spa is amazing, and the room is well maintained and spacious. We had a very relaxing weekend there. Will come back
Alisha
The room was beautiful; very spacious. The windows were large and was able to get a lot of sunlight. The room could have been a little bit more clean I did find two unusual things in there & a random room charge but it was resolved quickly with one phone call.other than that the hotel was fantastic. Staff were great, friendly, helpful and fully bilingual. I will definitely go back.
Marie Frédérique
Room is nice, but the building is old needs renovation. Check in was extremely slow, took 1h to check in which was frustrating. Also the amenities are okay. I don’t think i would come back.
Robert
Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hot tubs and pool very comfortable and relaxing.

Richard
Somewhat. It was crowded
Michelle
The spas and small snowshoeing trails on the property site were excellent for this retired couple. The restaurant staff and food at the Voilier were outstanding. The only disappointment was that despite contacting the staff on site and on the first morning of a 3 night stay, I was unable to book an appointment for a facial or massage. Furthermore, I was told that such appointments needed to be booked when reserving the stay. I had reserved the stay on the morning of our first evening at the hotel.
Matthew
Far from luxury, no room service available, no service in pools or jacuzzi, staff look tired and annoyed by any requests.
franziska
The staff was very helpful. The room was nice, but could be refreshed with some upgrades (for the kitchenet, bathroom towels and bedroom blanket and linen) and living room furniture be properly cleaned. The kitchenet needs at least a stove top or small oven and dishwasher to even be called kitchenet. The fireplace, is rather unenjoyable with the constant ticking sound that is rather loud, a remote control would be more optimal. The Spa, specifically the saunas were limited, only the dry sauna was working properly, while the steam room had black mold and the outdoor sauna barrel was not very hot and also had a mildew smell.
Yinong
The staff service and restaurant are brilliant.

Staff was great. Beautiful room.
Awful pillows. 3 out of 4 pillows need to be thrown out. Lumpy amd hard, or super thin and hard. But pillows will not stop us from booking again. Everything else was fantastic.

Great space. Incredible lake, and so many things to do which are water related. For the Spa, pricy but nice. The outside water baths and the sauna are nice.

All the things at this hotel was wonderful. Only should be reviewed the prices of facilities to use in the lake (boats, paddles, cayaques), to be more cheaper or free.
Song
A great place to spend the holiday. It would be even better if they could provide free boating service like other hotels do.
