Room was fine. Very basic, probably like the red roof inn next door. The carpets and everything were stained, walls scraped, etc. outside the room though.

The listing says there is a business center but there isn’t. The front staff would not print a one-page ticket for me because I had booked though Expedia and not the Hilton site.

Everything was on par - but with the air-con drying the room out / air out I woke desperately thirsty / dry. Not one for drinking out of hotel bathrooms - there could have been some complimentary water bottles. My only bug bear of this stay, everything else was excellent!

I loved the ability to watch English on TV, and the breakfast was excellent. My main complaint-laundry facilities are not what they seem! I had to go down the street to a laundromat because their “laundry service“ would have taken 3 days. Disappointing since that was the mean reason I chose Hampton by Hilton. Good hotel but parking can be an issue

The parking garage is very small compared to the number of rooms. During our 4 day stay we were only able to get into the garage 2 nights. If the parking garage is full, you have to do street parking which was usually several blocks away. Breakfast was very good. We walked a few blocks to take the tram into the okd town area. The town is very nice with lots of history, restaurants and shops!

From missing necessities to dirty, broken sofa! Air con wasn’t working in our son’s room! Breakfast area was basic. Very disappointed.

House keeping kept coming into the room even when the do not disturb sign is on the door. The staff was very friendly and did the best they could. AC was also not working but I was fortunate enough to change rooms where the AC worked a little bit. It is probably a great place to stay outside of the summer. Breakfast was good!

Disappointed for various reasons. Was expecting a great room,location and service for the very high charge but sadly this was not the case.
The room was small and fittings worn. Surroundings are derelict land imbetween busy roads.
Towels were threadbare and 2 of toiletries dispensers were empty. Unable to get hot water in the shower. When asking for milk for the room they were unable to provide any.
On a plus side staff were pleasant but it needs to be stated that there is free parking available (we paid 19 euros) and that access to the centre is easy using the tram. Cars are not allowed in the centre.
If the price of the hotel was half then it would have not been complaint worthy. Super 8 hotel next door might have been the better option.

Good experience. Quiet area. One disappointment, we did arrive later than expected but love the old centre and when we asked which direction to take, we were told it was about 35 minutes walk. Your website says \"Fill up on hot breakfast before exploring the Old Town, 10 minutes away and home to Freiburg Cathedral\". This was a shock to the system, perhaps you should say 'by car' in your description? We stayed local because of the time but still had a good stay.

Great customer service . Arrived early at the hotel as the flight was early , had to be ready for 15:40 for a wedding the check in was at 15:00 so they agreed for us do check in at 1300 which was great and allowed us to get ready and not rush . Alex was brilliant at reception very helpful . Also a young lady with dark hair couldn’t get her name wrote down details of the trams and stations we needed to stop which was on point and hustle free . Breakfast was good and loads of item to chose from . Would definitely stay here again and would also recommend this hotel .

The rooms were clean. But the air conditioning and the safes didn’t work, and there weren’t maintenance people available to help. The hotel isn’t very old but it’s really showing its wear and tear. There weren’t enough staff on site. The hotel photos on Expedia showed a man in a suit at the front desk and two women tending the bar. In reality there was one staff member on shift at any time both running the front desk and the bar, so there were very long waits for either. Booked two rooms for our family with 3 kids but they gave us rooms at the opposite ends of the hotel. The breakfast was pretty good considering it was included, so it was very popular with the guests as you can tell from the other reviews.

Hotel check in was quick and easy. Room was reasonable size. Bathroom was relatively clean although some visible mould and limescale in shower. Soundproof rooms apart from having window open then some loud glass recycling around 6.30am.

Front desk staff friendly although very understaffed on a Saturday evening, seemed unfair to only have one gentleman checking guests in and also serving a busy bar also.

Breakfast was good, lots of choice.

We stayed for 4 nights and although had a DND sign on the door the first morning to allow for a lie in, we took it off and didn't get clean towels or bed made up which was disappointing.

Overall decent experience and good value for money. Quick and easy to get into centre of Freiburg either walking or tram.

We had an issue during the breakfast. They said they offer gluten free bread but it turned out that when we went to the cantine they ran out of it.
It seems that other guests which don’t have this special needs where taking gluten-free bread, without any wrong intent, because there weren’t any bread left at some point. This can be a little bit annoying when a person with gluten intolerant needs it.
Next time we will warn to the staff to at least reserve part of it.
Regarding the stay, everything was perfect.

Room was passable. However, the pillows were very soft and not comfortable. The carpet in the room and corridor was heavily stained. The shower tray was a questionable brown colour (needs a bleach). Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was average but plentiful. The area was rather noisy, but that’s to be expected in a city hotel. Car parking was simple but very expensive. We spent 2 nights here, and would possibly stay again because the price was decent.

Eigentlich ein sehr modernes Haus mit sehr schönen, komfortablen Zimmern und guter Einrichtung (z.B. Fitnessraum). Viele Parkmöglichkeiten am Wochenende (nicht Mo-Fr).
Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück, leider jedoch ein grosses Gedränge am Sonntagmorgen.
Die grosse Enttäuschung war jedoch die Sauberkeit des Bads. Die Dusche war sehr verdreckt (Wände und Fugen bis auf Kniehöhe wohl noch nie geputzt), was überhaupt nicht zum sonstigen Gesamtbild gepasst hat.

Five Stars All Around!

The room was very modern and spacious. The bathroom was really nice and the toiletries were excellent and provided in pump containers, so they are both eco-friendly and in ample supply. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. We had two floor to ceiling windows that opened from the top to let in fresh air. The windows made the room completely sound proof from outside noise. The front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful as well. The breakfast included was fantastic with lots of hot and cold options, great coffee and long hours of operation. The location is close to the tram lines and close to grocery stores, gas station and restaurants. It was also easy to get food delivery services to the hotel.

Great hotel in the outskirts of Freiburg. The hotel is clean and stylish with a friendly staff. The hotel is placed 2,5km from the city center with poor options for public transportation, which makes it rather inconvenient for visitors wanting to see Freiburg.
Also, if bringing the car one, should be aware that parking in the garage costs 15€!? per day - not included in the price for the stay.
Breakfast was great, but badly organized (different due to corona virus)

The hotel is located in the suburbs which is quiet. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and so too were the guests.

Street parking is available so there is no need to pay for overnight parking. However, street parking charges start at 7am so chose your parking place carefully. There is a tram line nearby running frequently which brings the city centre within minutes.

The hotel was renovated and clean, our room was comfortable, quiet and cozy. There was a kettle and tea/coffee available. Breakfast was great and I regret not getting the chance to use the waffle maker as our stay was too short. Kai at reception was very helpful and polite.

My only complaint is the location - and it's not about the hotel not being in the centre, since I was aware of that when I booked and I don't mind a 20 min walk or a 5 min tram ride - however, if I were staying there by myself, I would not feel comfortabe coming back to the hotel in the evening. The 5-7 minute walk from the tram station to the hotel takes you through a badly lit, muddy area with construction work in progress and it feels quite unsafe walking there when it is dark.

All in all though, our stay was most enjoyable.

Wir kamen spät in der Nacht nach einem Flug im Hotel an (01:00) , hatten dies aber angekündigt. Check-in ging schnell und war ok.
Am Morgen stellten wir dank einer Mitteilung des KK-Unternehmens aber fest, dass die Übernachtung doppelt belastet wurde mit unterschiedlichem Betrag. Dies monierten wir am Empfang.
Das Personal am Empfang am Morgen war in deutscher Sprache eher schwach und verstand nur schwer was wir monierten. Dann wurde zunächst versucht mit Scheinerklärungen uns abzuwimmeln ( das eine sei nur eine Reservierung) .
Wir sind dann zum Frühstück, welches gruselig war, um Zeit zur Überprüfung zu geben.
Später wurde dann die Doppelbelastung korrigiert.
Die Krönung waren dann noch 24€ Tiefgaragengebühr , welche wir für Ort und Lage für völlig überteuert halten. Wir hatten diese tief in der Nacht zugegebenermaßen nicht wahrgenommen.

Absolut enttäuschend! Ich hatte extra ein Eckzimmer für 35€ Aufpreis gebucht. Fenster öffnen nicht möglich an einer Ecke eine Tankstelle wo nachts die Autoposer lärmen auf der anderen Ecke ein Kindergarten. Zimmerreinigung NICHT VORHANDEN. Frühstück ist in jeder privaten pension besser. Nur billigste Wurst (Leoner, Hinterschinken und billigste Salami) Rührei ist eine krümlige Masse da aus Trockenei gemacht.
Danke Nie wieder für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarte ich deutlich mehr.

Das erste Zimmer war eiskalt (Dezember) worauf wir uns beschwerten und dann aber zum Glück ein anderes bekamen. An der Rezeption wurden wir gedutzt und mit \"Ihr Schnuckis\" angesprochen, für mich absolut unangemessen (war mit meinem Mann unterwegs). Das Frühstück war fürchterlich sowohl von der Qualität als auch dem Ambiente.

Das Doppelbett war etwas zu klein und hart, aber das ist nach Geschmack.

Sonst alles toll. Toll fand ich, dass wir trotzdem noch frühstücken durften, obwohl wir zu spät runter kamen, dachten es ist Sonntag und bis 11:30 Uhr dürfen wir nur frühstücken, dabei war es aber schon Montag und unter der Woche nur bis 10 Uhr. Wir waren etwa um 10:30 unten und durften uns noch was zum Essen holen. Danke!

2 chambres réservées et payées au mois d’octobre. Sur place, plus qu‘une chambre libre. Personnel du soir incapable et hautains. On reçoit d’abord une chambre non nettoyée, poubelles pleines, dentifrice sur le lavabo, pas de serviettes, tasses sales. Plus tard on reçoit une chambre déjà occupée.
