The staff and room were amazing. The reason I’m giving a 3 instead of 5 is that the food in the restaurant was horrible. $18 for nachos with cheese burned on them, overcooked wings and soggy pizza.

I had the worse experience dealing with this property. I booked this hotel through expedia and paid directly through their website. I let expedia know well in advance that I won't be able to make it to the booking due to personal reasons.
I waited nearly 4 days as expedia tried to contact this property to cancel my reservation and see if I can get any refund, but they received no response from the property management. It was a very frustrating experience as I ended up losing my money and this hotel did nothing to help me out with my problem.
I would recommend to all the future guests that please don't pay the amount upfront unless you have to. Or else, this property will keep your money and never respond back to your cancellation request.

We checked in late in the day after driving 12 hours and asked only for a quite room...
- the thermostat was from the 1970s so no way to force the A/C on, which meant the room was hotter than we liked
- they put us beside a room of twenty-somethings sharing the room for what I can only speculate was a Saturday night out in the city. The group returned at 1:00 am to continue partying.
- then, just when my wife and I had enough with the noise and were going to phone the front desk the fire alarm was triggered at 3:00am and the whole hotel had to be evacuated.
Luckily we did sleep from 9:00pm until 1:30, so we did get some rest before resuming our road trip at 3:30am

The staff were very friendly, and thr place was nice and clean. The pool was great. Unfortunately the air conditioning was awful. It was super hot when we got there, the air conditioning was not on in the room so we turned it on, and it only cooled the corner it was in. Unfortunately throughout the night as well for some odd reason the air conditioning turned to heat so I had a terrible sleep. Screen was busted in the window as well so couldn't open the window. Would've given 5 stars if the heating and cooling was working properly, unfortunately it was not and that made the stay not great

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The atmosphere felt less like a place for travelers and more like a hangout spot for people who seemed to be living there long-term. Throughout the night, people repeatedly tried opening the shared connecting door to our room, and we were constantly woken up by pounding, loud conversations, door slamming, and other disturbances.
As a group of women traveling together, we did not feel particularly safe or comfortable. The environment was not what we expected when booking a hotel, and it made it difficult to relax or get any rest. Unfortunately, the overall experience left us feeling uneasy, and I would not choose to stay here again.

I read from previous reviews that the staff here were friendly, but unfortunately, the one who assisted us during our stay wasn’t very welcoming.
The room was clean, and we loved that it wasn’t carpeted. However, the air conditioning wasn’t great, so we had to open the window — good thing it was cold outside.
The bathroom door lock was broken and the exhaust fan wasn’t working, so we had to deal with lingering odors and a very humid bathroom after showering. We also wish there were hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.
On a positive note, my kids still enjoyed the pool, even though they kept saying the water was very cold.

We were initially put into their worst room im sure. It had torn curtains, dirty floors, workmen tools in the bathroom and wood dust even on the toilet seat, dusty shoe prints on the seat bench, peeled desk-chair, dried spill marks on furniture, gum on sofa... it was unbelievable! I was so upset. My husband spoke with them and they instantly apologized and gave us a very clean room with none of the problems. I felt very disrespected and profiled (I am African-Canadian). The night auditor gave us breakfast vouchers; breakfast was great (quick and delicious). I hope noone ever gets put into that horrible room again!!

Only problem I found was the room was a long distance from the front door and all other exit doors were only for emergency use. They offer pool and slide amenities, but close at 9 pm during the week. The slide is NOT running during the week.

Not a happy stay at all. I was on the ground floor towards the pool. You could see the pool through the air duct. It was loud as kids were swimming and having fun till 10pm. Then came the smell of pot and cigarettes. Live and learn.

I had a terrible experience with the night manager. I wanted to move a chaperone and 2 children that he was taking care of, because chaperone had let me know that there was drinking & partying in the next room around 1am. Kids didn't feel safe (We were there for a church service at the time, I booked 5 rooms) Night manager wouldn't let us switch rooms, he was rude and kept questioning my decisions as to why I didn't book connecting rooms, or that drinking is allowed as long as they keep it quiet.....We switched rooms the next day when a professional helped us, I was very disappointed in how this was handled. I will not be booking here again.

There was not adequate parking. Check-in was easy. Hallways were dirty with dirty dishes present throughout our stay. There was a bad leak on the 3rd floor which soaked the wall and carpet in an area. The pool was over run with birthday parties. We booked here for the wayer slide, but it was closed when the kids went to use it. The room was kinda dark (like most hotel's these days) there was toothpaste looking residue on the faucet, and mold in the shower, no hand soap- but staff were quick to deliver it when i called.

The staff were amazing first and foremost. No problems there. The room? Gross. Stained chairs, ripped box springs, assorted items left behind by previous guests that demonstrate a lack of thorough cleaning. The beds were comfy. The pool caused both myself and my son to get rashes, even after we had showers directly after. I wont stay again.

The front desk staff was so friendly and amazing. And that’s where the positives end. I’ve been doing my children’s birthday parties there for a while now. And for the last several visits the quality has declined. The rooms have writing on the walls and often are not clean. But the part that I actually was the most frustrated with was when I called to ask for help with the internet. I was told “ ya well the internet sucks in here” we couldn’t connect our devices to watch or play anything. After 4 DIFFRENT people came in and stared at the situation we were told to bad. Now, since I was obviously upset and frustrated was anything done about it ? NOPE. Not a single apology or anything was done to try and make it better.

The only reason we booked the Superior Inn was so our three children could use the pool and water slide. We were never informed during booking or at check-in that the pool was closed for maintenance, which was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the lobby was chaotic, with over 30 unsupervised children running around and playing floor hockey.
After entering our room, the experience quickly got worse. The bathtub faucet was leaking from the wall, with visible mold around the tub. The room was very dirty — we found hair on the bed, bathroom walls, inside the fridge, and on the coffee maker. The carpets were filthy and covered in sticky stains.
Later, my son and I went to get ice and encountered multiple intoxicated guests in the hallway, including one vomiting on the floor. Throughout the night, drunk guests knocked on our door at 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., doors slammed constantly, and loud music played nearby, making sleep impossible.
We booked two nights but left the next day because we felt uncomfortable and unsafe. When we spoke to the front desk, we were told we should have called ahead to see if there was a hockey tournament, as this behavior “happens all the time.” No apology or compensation was offered. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.

Later, my son and I went to get ice and encountered multiple intoxicated guests in the hallway, including one vomiting on the floor. Throughout the night, drunk guests knocked on our door at 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., doors slammed constantly, and loud music played nearby, making sleep impossible.
We booked two nights but left the next day because we felt uncomfortable and unsafe. When we spoke to the front desk, we were told we should have called ahead to see if there was a hockey tournament, as this behavior “happens all the time.” No apology or compensation was offered. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.
