The espresso machines are a nice touch, but not everyone is familiar with how to use them. It might be helpful to provide simple instructions, including how to make a regular cup of coffee, for guests who aren't looking for specialty drinks.
The blinds are attractive, but they don't offer much privacy since you can easily see through them from both inside and outside. They also do very little to block sunlight. Adding curtains would greatly improve both privacy and light control.
Considering the hotel hosts a large number of weddings and events, I was surprised by the lack of soundproofing. The loud music and bass vibrations from a wedding reception continued until around midnight, making it difficult to relax and sleep.
The parking lot was also challenging to navigate, and the signage throughout the property could be improved. Better directional signs would make finding parking and getting around much easier for guests.

This hotel is well located on Lake Superior across from the Sleeping Giant. The rooms and the dining room offer a beautiful view of the lake and harbour.
Also, it's close to the downtown area, which is a short walk away.

The property was in a scenic area. The handicapped automatic door entering the building didn't work. One of the two elevators didn't work. Parking was a challenge. The room itself was fine; plain, nothing fancy, but it worked for my needs.

It’s April and they have Xmas decorations outside. Only 1 elevator was working. The handicap door buttons for both doors did not work. The Manager needs to be more urgent to getting this in order. The price was excessive and had I had more time I would have researched a different hotel.

The restaurant service was extremely slow. We paid for underground parking and it was not available one of the days that we paid for. We had to park outside and our car alarm went off because someone tried to break in. On our last day, we left our door locked and the hotel service person that cleaned our room failed to close the door all the way. When we returned in the evening, we realized our room had been left unlocked since it was cleaned with our valuables inside. I was told the manager would contact me about this, but the manager never did. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times. We had good experiences in the past, but it was terrible this year. We will not be back.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly but for the price I paid, I wish the room was a little bit nicer. Upon checking in we got to our room and it smelt funny, like body odour. The room was nothing special and there was no microwave. This was my first time staying in a fancy hotel, so checking in a hotel room that looks just like all the others, was rather disappointing. Also there is little to no parking available.

The stay started rough, but happy to say the service staff did their best to try to make it better. There was a large event happening in the area of the hotel, this parking and access to the hotel was restricted by parking staff. The parking staff would not let me drive to the hotel, which was about a km away, also the parking staff were unkind and used foul language. I parked and walked to the hotel, they staff were less than impressed with the event parking staff. I walked back to my car and had a second run in with the parking staff. Eventually, getting thru the parking staff. The hotel staff held a parking spot for me which was so very kind. Also the hotel staff gave me access to their pantry (snack options available). This was wonderful as it was fully stocked and had plenty of bottled water. My stay was for two days and two nights. After the first night, I did need the room cleaned so I put the dnd sign on the door handle. When I return that night, the room had been cleaned. This was particularly unpleasant as I had not wanted anyone to enter the room for cleaning. Over all the staff were kind and tried be as helpful as possible, that is most appreciated!

If I had to say what I didn’t like it would probably be parking when underground or directly outside the hotel was at capacity, was a bit of a walk to get from their off site parking to the hotel. I was really excited to stay here but this location did not live up to previous experiences from Delta Marriot. Had no help bringing up my bags, absolutely no parking unless you wanted to walk down the street or a lot across the street which does not allow overnight parking. Upgraded my room to have access to the pantry on the top floor but that was such a failure compared to every other location. I wouldn't stay here again.
